I wanted to write this a year after inquiring my Fender Customshop 52’ Nocaster Heavy Relic. Janice and her son are wonderful people. I used to work for Fender Customshop in Corona. My favorite relic I did during my tenure in customshop made its way to her store. I remember the date I relic’d the guitar body 3/11/22 a day after my birthday. I have pictures and videos I took of it at the factory after it was finished cause I loved the relic so much. I seen it on reverb months later, and it was like fate that I lived close to where the nocaster ended up. She made my dream of owning it a reality. Bless your hearts. Go to wildcat guitars. Great family run businesses always give their clientele lasting impressions, and I can honestly say that about her and her son. Go in and see for yourself. I will forever be gracious. The pictures I uploaded is a picture of it at my work bench at the Fender Factory still can’t believe I own it!

Purchased a Taylor 618e with limited Sunburst top. I haven’t found a dealer able to get a sunburst top on one of these updated grand orchestra models yet… until I found Wildcat Guitars.Service was fantastic, super fast response to my email/inquiry, guitar shipped same day and arrived roughly 48 hours later with no surprises.Its always scary buying acoustic, especially out of state, since the quality and tone differ so much guitar to guitar. But after the great service, and return policy (i will not be returning this guitar, but it is nice to have return option) I cannot recommend this shop enough! I love this guitar, and while afflicted with GAS (guitar acquisition syndrome) I will certainly be buying more guitars in the future… but at least I have my forever jumbo sized guitar! Amazing service, timely and intentional responses to calls and queries—even sending additional info, photos, and videos so that I could be at ease with the entire process. Buying a guitar can be a somewhat daunting process, but Doug made it incredibly easy. Doug was a huge help in ensuring that my guitar was well taken care of and that it shipped and arrived safely. I found a pic of a really lovely guitar online. Turns out that specific guitar was in this shop. Took some time to hunt it down but I’m glad these folks had it. They were incredibly easy to work with. Gave me a good price, shipped very quickly, shipped very safely and I will 1000% be working with them again in the future.If your local stop in. My son has been doing research on a new guitar and came across Wildcat on line. He is very persistent so after his guitar lesson I said come on lets go check this place out. Wildcat is tucked away in a little business area in San Marcos. We went out on a Saturday evening and it was pretty quiet.As soon as he walked in he was a bit nervous but excited. He was surrounded by guitars and didnt know what to do with himself. From the time we walked in to the time we left we felt welcomed and at ease. This is not like the big stores where all they care about is a saleJameson knows exactly what guitar he wants but wanted to see it in person (or at least something similar) to see how it played and felt. It was really neat seeing Doug chat with Jameson, just talking about guitars and what Jameson was looking for. He showed Jameson a few guitars and let him play them. It was just a cool, relaxing environment. An overall awesome place and a variety of amazing guitars. If they dont have it, Doug will help find it for you!Overall great people and place and cannot wait to get back and get Jamesons guitar ordered. Wildcat Guitars is the place to go for sure!

Wildcat has the best customer service I have ever experienced! I needed some warranty work done on my beautiful prs, and Wildcat took care of everything! They gave me a great sounding loaner until the repairs were done, and when FedEx dropped the ball and damaged the guitar mid transfer, they worked with PRS to source a replacement guitar. They did such an incredible job finding me a replacement that I love even more than the original! Doug, J, and Scott all went above and beyond to make me feel like I mattered. Wildcat is the best music shop Ive ever purchased from!

My son and I decided to take a drive up to WildCat and we were blown away. This is by far the coolest guitar shop I have ever been to. The staff is welcoming and dont make you feel like a burden for showing up like another fender shop in town. The selection of fine guitars is amazing, but dont fret they are a full Fender dealer and have a great selection of affordable Mexican made Fenders as well.

I have never written a review for a business before, but this time, I needed to write this review. Wildcat Guitars is unlike any other guitar shop I’ve been to. I talked with Doug over the phone and I knew I had to check out this shop. He puts customer satisfaction before anything else and is so kindhearted and chill. After speaking with him on the phone, I drove more than 3 hours just to go to the shop and I have to say, IT WAS SO WORTH IT. They have amazing guitar selections for any guitarist. Doug wasn’t pushy and gave me the freedom to try out guitars comfortably. I ended up purchasing a dream guitar there and I will definitely be back again. During my recent search for a telecaster with a reverse headstock, I found WildCat Guitars and an amazing Iconic Vintage Modern Tele with a reverse headstock they had on their website. My first interaction was with Bo and also had the pleasure of speaking with Doug. Within a day, I purchased the guitar and 2 days later had it in my hands. First, let me say how amazing Iconic Guitars are. I own and have played some amazing instruments and this one is probably one of THE best Ive played. Its now my #1 guitar. So cool. We just popped into Wildcat Guitars out of curiosity to take a quick look on our way to somewhere else. We ended up staying over an hour and I made a completely unplanned purchase of a beautiful guitar which is perfect for me. Doug was welcoming and interested in us, but left us alone to try out some guitars at our own pace. When we had questions he was there. He could answer our questions but also give us much more information and detail. Hes the best kind of salesperson - doing it because hes passionate, knowledgeable and genuinely wants you to find the guitar you will love. Its a also a great space - beautifully fitted out with a cool and relaxed vibe. I wanted the action lowered just a tad and Jay did that for me in probably less than half an hour. When we picked it up he told me what strings to use, and like Doug, I felt he genuinely wanted me to enjoy playing this guitar. Great shop; San Diego desperately needs a guitar store like WildCat Guitars. I bought a Custom Shop Strat. Bo was very helpful, with a no pressure approach. They have great inventory and very relaxed, inviting atmosphere. I tried multiple guitars over the course of a couple hours and we made a deal. They changed out the strings from 10s to 9s and I was done. Ill definitely be back to buy more gear from WildCat Guitars.

I called the shop and worked with Bo after finding a Strat that was listed on Reverb. I used to be an employee at a big box music store and still frequently shop at those stores, but I was immediately floored at the white-glove treatment from Bo and the staff at WildCat. I’ve never received service of this caliber from any music store I’ve bought from. Bo provided me a handful of pictures, the guitar’s weight, and also had Scott the tech set up the instrument before shipping to me. Recently purchased a Custom Shop Telecaster from Wildcat. The guitar and case are immaculate. Setup of guitars is CRITICAL and when you have techs like Wildcat has, that do a stellar job, you realize that this is one step you dont want to leave to chance. Holy cow. What an awesome experience. Idk what I like more, the guitar or the free shirt I got. I found them from Reverb.com. The online marketing was clever. I went In kinda expecting not to be taken seriously in my work uniform but they were super respectful, answered all of my questions and then gave me an unbelievable price for my dream guitar. Long story short, I bought my dream guitar today and couldn’t be more pleased. The place is appointment strongly recommended but I get why. I was looking for a PRS SE Angelus model A40E with a Tobacco Sunburst treatment and it turns out Bo at WildCat Guitars had a couple in stock. We quickly made a deal and their technician Scott set it up for me. Within 24 hours it was on its way FedEx to my home halfway across the country.It arrived in perfect condition needing only a minor tune-up from the journey. Scott had nailed the intonation at the twelfth fret. Thats so important, and tricky to get right, for acoustic guitars. Scotts a great tech in my book. WildCat Guitars earned a top spot on my short list of trustworthy and savvy instrument suppliers from now on.We all know who the big-house musical instrument houses are, but I will always check WildCat Guitars before making any other purchases in the future. I contacted WildCat Guitars about a custom Strat sometime back in 2020. I worked directly with Bo, who was awesome and helped me to make sure that each component on the guitar was exactly what I wanted. After a long wait (which was expected, the guitar was being custom made by Fender) I received the guitar in June of 2021. I have been looking for a unique tele for a while now. I wanted something Custom Shop or Masterbuilt and came across a link in the Fender Custom Shop site to Wildcat Guitars. I browsed their site and found a few interesting master built Teles. Im in Texas... theyre in Cali so I was a little apprehensive. I called up and talked to Doug Diamond who couldnt have been cooler. He was able to tell me details about specs and sound, feel and mojo of the guitars I was interested in. Im super picky about necks and he asked some solid questions about the instruments I own and what I like to play, my rig etc and helped me pick out a killer Greg Fessler Master built Tele. It arrived overnight, perfectly set up and intonated! Im stoked. 5 star service and shipping. Well done lads. Next time Im in SoCal Im coming by with a couple 6 packs, you guys rock!

High-end guitars at prices that we mere mortals can afford. I found a gorgeous semi-hollow dark blue PRS, one of a set of 25 made (I got #23). Tried it out on a Wednesday afternoon, woke up at 3 AM sweating, thinking, Someone else is going to snag that beauty! What have I done? I was at their front door at 10 AM the next day. Bo, the salesperson laughed, saying, I thought wed see you today. Semi-hollow PRS guitars are usually in the high four to five -figure range; this beauty was around 3K, which was already quite reasonable. We went into Bos office where he searched the internet to find the absolute lowest price on this model. It was breathtakingly low. Bo took genuine pleasure in the smile on my face when he hit the magic number. Best sounding guitar this old picker ever owned. The whole staff is knowledgable and enthusiastic about guitars. Low pressure, conversational sales technique. Just like Arnold...Ill be back!

As a beginner guitar player, walking into a high end guitar shop was intimidating. However from the moment I walked into Wildcat guitars I was greeted warmly and shown where the PRS guitars we located. The gentleman that helped me was very friendly and he allowed me to play both a fender and a Gibson. I highly recommend this place to anyone that’s in the market for a custom/vintage axe with solid foundation and perfect feet action. No imitations only the real deal, prs, fender, and Gibson electric guitars. Perfection!!!
