It was okay, Im being generous with 2 stars because the lady was nice. My husband set up the appointment for me as an anniversary gift. I have been in pain from carrying baby all day and stressed about my personal health. He said it would be deep tissue massage, it was not. From what I heard I guess I was really expecting a personalized experience. I spent 25 minutes filling out a questionnaire at home way before my appointment that was not read by my massage therapist. The first 25 minutes of my 90 minute session was spent being talked at as she lightly skimmed my questionnaire and she googled and youtubed terms. I stressed that I wanted a massage to focus on my pain in my shoulders and upper back, which didnt happen. The massage was good but definitely not $300+ good. I left with a pinched nerve in my right shoulder feeling like I should have just gone to massage envy for half the price. Or even better, go to Crystal Palace in Newbury park. They have a 90 minute deep tissue for $86 that is WAY better than this place and for a fraction of the price.TLDR: this place is a rip off. Go to Crystal Palace in Newbury park instead.

From the moment I spoke to Barbara over the phone I could tell she was a healer.She is so passionate and knowledgeable about all aspects of health.This particular appointment was for my 10 year old son. She preformed a lymphatic drainage massage on him.We also has an appointment with the Chripopracter Dr. Bob who was also wonderful.I would recommend Whole Frog for any wellness needs. She took time to learn about me, my situation-health issues, etc. and based her work what I shared. She does a full assessment prior to working on you. She offered recommendations to aid in my healing. Giving exercises, stretching and daily tasks to help reduce pain. She really listened, and executed. The best massage and bodywork experience. Barbara also followed up with me... the service did not end when the time was up. I highly recommend WholeFrog Healing Team.

Had a great experience at Whole Frog in Moorpark, CA! First the environment/vibe in the office is beautiful and relaxing...condusive to ones healing. Both my wife and I had 90 minute massages. We loved our respective masseuses...they are professional and know their stuff! We felt confident that they knew what they were doing...and the massages were awesome...we both had relaxing and healing experiences...am signing up for a package to continue going there for massage work. Also, the staff for reception/sceduling is delightful to deal with...we highly recommend tis facility!!!

Kaitlynn did a great job releasing stuck fascia in my ankle. I came in looking for help since I still had great discomfort in my leg since an ankle sprain years ago. She is very warm and welcoming. I asked specifically for a practitioner who was trained in Reiki, and I am pleased that I found her. Looking forward to another visit with her!

I had the pleasure of receiving a massage from Juliana at WholeFrog yesterday, and I was absolutely blown away by her skills and professionalism. She took the time to get to know my needs and customize the massage to my specific areas of pain and tension. I had never been to Whole Frog, but was given a gift certificate for my birthday for a 90 min Relaxation Massage. Stormy did not disappoint! Her awareness and knowledge of the body was impressive and she helped to release pain in a couple of areas I had been struggling with for quite some time. I had a facial with Sílvia and she was incredible. Silvia provided extraordinary care as soon as I arrived. I had surgery recently and have a cast on my right hand. Silvia went beyond the call of duty to ensure I was comfortable and was safe moving around the room. The facial was so relaxing. My skin was very dry and I walked out feeling like a new person with beautiful rejuvenated skin. No one gives a facial like Silvia. She loves her work, provides extraordinary service and is a caring human being.

I went to Whole Frog for a massage at their Westlake Village location a couple of times. Both times the therapist was on time, the place was super clean and atmosphere relaxing (all three are very important to me).Since then I went to a few other places and they were not bad, but I dont think Ill be returning. I would like to return to Whole Frog for more massages, however. This place provides an amazing combination of cleanliness, inviting and truly relaxing atmosphere (from a comfortable massage table to a perfect temperature in the room) and of course, knowledgeable and very professional therapists.

Had a lymphatic drainage massage with Patty that made a world of difference!! Thank you Patty!! I felt my lymphs releasing blockages, which felt amazing (and a major feel-good endorphins release!), and also noticed less swelling in my knees and ankles the next day. She gave me some at-home tips that have been so helpful to help stimulate my lymphatic system. A truly gifted healer/therapist, and kind gentle soul, highly knowledgeable and intuitive, knowing just where to target blocked areas. The staff is super friendly and easy parking in the shopping center. Highly recommended. Will be coming back!

I have been dealing with daily headaches as well as neck/shoulder pain since giving birth 8 months ago. I’ve been miserable. I’ve been seeking out options for relief with nothing helping. After hearing about Whole Frog and reading the reviews, I knew I had to make an appointment. This past weekend I did a full range session with Claire and it was the best massage I’ve had in my life. I feel like she truly listened to me and tried to get to the root of the issue. I immediately felt relief after my session, a relief from pain that I haven’t felt in a long time. I’m giving 2 stars because both people were really nice. First they say the lymphatic massage online is $265 but I was charged $375 and said it was because she was an RN and she cost more. I booked with the other person and the RN asked if it was ok if she came in the room and I said yes. The other person looked young and I had just had Lipo so I was expecting the RN to oversee, but she joined in and that was fine, but didn’t tell me aboutthe price difference until I checked out.Second, she put something topical on my open incisions and it started to burn a bit and I let her know and she took it off quickly, but all the incisions she put it on now have an area around them that the skin is burned. Almost like when you get a rug burn and it just takes a few layers off. It’s making my healing process very uncomfortable as my compression garment is rubbing against that skin and irritating them. Even the gauze sticks to them and pulls on the skin as I take them off to switch. It’s only on the areas she put her “all natural wound healing” topical ointment.And she sold me a heating cream that she said would help with the recovery to use with plastic wrap when washing my garments and such and that was $40 and she put a roll of plastic in the bag too and charged me $5.40 for the plastic wrap. The cream is just an anti cellulite cream that I wouldn’t have bought. I wouldn’t go back or recommend.

Barba is the most incredible masseuse alive in world today… possibly that may have ever existed. As a fan of massage therapy for relaxation and occasionally to relieve pain, I have had many different massages from a variety of therapists; Some good, some okay and some, just plain terrible.In almost all cases however, I wished that any given therapist had more strength, would expend more energy and/ or had more knowledge.Look no further, Barbara possesses the highest combination of all.Part of her work ethic and skill may be attributed to the fact that she’s actually a registered nurse as well.On top of all that, she is a genuinely wonderful soul, who truly cares about people and spends a lot her off time doing charity work. Hearing about some of her life changing contributions to others might qualify her for a sainthood or something like that. I don’t know how different churches quantify that, but should consider her!A side note: I found out about WholeFrog through, Karen, their marketing director. She is a genuinely good person as well.Lastly, I have to give credit to, Julianna, who does their skin care/ facials. Talent obviously attracts talent and Julianna is great at what she does.If you want to look a year younger, see Julianna!

A few months ago, I invested in the Pain Free RN package with Barbara and its been worth every penny!!! Every time I see her it gets better, as she gets deeper in my trouble areas, and always beings her A++ game (focus, skill, passion, etc.) to every session. I appreciate that about her SO much! I also love that she uses a variety of specialty modalities (the G3 machine, cupping, her incredibly skilled hands/fingers, etc.) throughout our 2 hour session and customizes her approach based on whats going on with my body (I share my pain points but shes also great at finding issues I didnt know I had until she starts working on them and they wake up!). After every session, I leave feeling refreshed, more open (mentally and physically) and truly grateful to have found Barbara and her wonderful team! This was the first time I have been to Whole Frog, Zahava was amazing. She really listened to the areas that I was feeling tension and knew exactly what to do in order to release it. I’ve had many massages and I have to say her methods truly made a difference on my neck and shoulder pain and tension. On top of her abilities, she was very professional. She made sure I was comfortable and the pressure was what I wanted throughout the massage.In terms of Whole Frog as a company, I have nothing but great things to say. I’m not sure what the lady’s name is that I spoke to on the phone but she was very helpful and got me an appointment same day. I just had my first facial with Silvia. I had the Alchemist 21-Course Transformational Facial Experience which is a 2-hour service. I have had facials before, but they were nothing like this. Silvia made me feel comfortable and at ease. She asked me questions such as whether I like to talk during my facial. I let her know that I like just relaxing and not talking. She talked at the beginning, explaining things to me, and then allowed me to fully relax and enjoy the rest of the experience. I enjoyed every minute of this 2-hour process. I left feeling relaxed and like I was walking on air. I cant wait for my next facial with Silvia!

My wife surprised me with a massage as a gift because my neck and shoulder were in pain, so much that I was having trouble turning my head from side to side. I had the pleasure of getting a very wonderful massage from Zahava. She was very professional, attentive, and informative. Zahava took time to understand where exactly my pain was, areas to focus on, areas to avoid, etc. She explained some stretches and other things I could do on my own to relief pain. As for the massage, it was absolutely great! I felt extremely comfortable and was asked if temperatures were fine as well as pressure throughout the massage. I truly felt 100% better after leaving Whole Frog. This place and the staff is great, therapeutic, and clean! I would love to get another massage. Thank you!

Wow! The best massage I ever had! Stormy met me at the door and was so warm and welcoming. She took the time to review all my information and asked me lots of questions about how I was feeling and trouble areas I was dealing with. She took the time to show me simple exercises I could do on my own to improve my joints and was genuinely interested in my wellbeing. And the massage – oh boy, the best! Had a great full body massage for 1 1/2 hour. Ive heard a lot of great reviews about this place and thought Id try it myself for that long. Ive had issues on and off with my shoulders and knowing that all masseuse we trained for things like this I had my guy focus on it. Wow, what a great relief. I needed a whole body massage and I was not disappointed with the treatment so I purchase a plan as it was cheaper in the long run. I can use it for myself or I can have my daughters use it too. I highly recommend this place, truly professional. They gather as much information about you especially your needs online or you can also speak to them and spill out any questions or concerns you may have. I highly recommend them.

I suffer from back and shoulder pain from a reparative motion injury I sustained at work. I have tried physical therapy, acupuncture, and standard pain medication to try to alleviate the pain, but nothing worked. I booked a massage at WholeFrog hoping to find just a little bit of relief and it was the best decision I have made all year! The staff was super friendly and the environment was very welcoming. I had the most amazing massage with Gavin. I came in with a lot of pain in my neck and back generally, but also my right hip. He was so attentive and asked many questions to get a good handle of what I was looking for. I love a firm massage and he cautioned that his firm may not be the same as others I’ve experienced. He did not disappoint! He worked out so many knots in my shoulders and neck with steady hands and even pressure throughout. I really felt my muscles loosen up. Throughout it all he made sure to check with me on the pressure and adjusted accordingly. He was also very knowledgeable about the anatomy of the muscles and how my neck strain could have been causing my right hand to be stiff! All in all, one of the best massages I’ve ever gotten. I will definitely be a repeat customer with Gavin. 10/10!!

As an athlete most of my life, with many related injuries, I often visited massage therapists over the years. Whole Frog offers a completely different experience beyond any I have come to know. I had the pleasure of meeting Stormy who proved to be quite knowledgeable on multiple levels. She looks to unlock the door to the root cause of discomfort and pain. Her great skills range from massage therapy to myofascial release to very specific techniques/exercises that you can take home with you. WholeFrog is an exceptional place of healing. I have seen so many other massage therapists, doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists, acupuncturists, but none over the last 3 years could even come close to resolving a chronic pain in my shoulder. It felt pinched, slightly dislocated. I could lift it and use it, m but lifting weights would hurt it. It popped and cracked and got tighter and tighter over the years. A few sessions with Stormy, and a thoracic release later, I have finally felt some relief from my chronic pain and tightness. She took as much time as was necessary and never hurt me once. She’s just amazing and the sweetest and most professional massage therapist I have ever had. I’m grateful to have found this place and to be on the road to recovery!

So happy Ive found Body By Design in Moorpark (Whole Frog) as my tune-up center. I am comfortable with any masseuse for a full body massage. All great! When I have specific muscle issues, I go to Barbara. She helped me recover from a whiplash several years ago. She is now helping me with tennis elbow. Her experience as an RN and her familiarity with all yoga postures gets me back on a healthy track. I also use Barbaras full range exercise program videos online to keep limber or to refer to with certain aches and pains. Love this place!

Still 5 stars. So grateful to have found Wholefrog and Gavin but all CMTs wonderful here. I am a fellow therapist with major neck and thoracic issues due to Cancer remission and heavy work load; and Gavin has helped my road to recovery and unwinding. I am super particular on who works on me from past experience, but the two therapists I tried, Gavin and Bridget have been great. For my particular issues Gavin has offered great Therapeutic work, and Bridget has also been wonderful with Hot Stone and relaxation/unwinding.A Sweet find...as a fellow therapist in great need, so grateful for this lovely healing center.

I did not realize when I bought my Groupon this was more than just a spa to get a message, they work on your whole body and teach you exercises to help with pain and discomfort as well as other health related things. What a unique massage experience. Im so used to just getting fluffed on by every other massage place but whole frog and their staff really know what theyre doing. The massage was deep to say the least, but right where it needed to go. Dave worked really well with me finding all my knots and areas i didnt even know needed attention. It was truly a full body. Too many times if i ask a masseuse to go deeper, it just feels like theyre using more elbow, but not here. He knew where to lighten up and where to give it all hes got. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an experienced, relaxing and result oriented massage.

For Valentine’s day, my husband and I gifted ourselves a 1½ hour therapeutic massage at WholeFrog in Moorpark. Stormy, my therapist, was absolutely wonderful! She applied the perfect amount of pressure at a slow and relaxing pace during the entire massage. Stress knots and anxiety were relieved from the top of my head to the tips of my toes. Gavin, my husbands therapist, was able to alleviate discomfort in his left shoulder, soreness he had felt everyday for the past six months. After the massage and before leaving the studio, Trinity gave us a small beverage to help support our immune systems. We both left feeling calm, de-stressed and energized!

I went in not knowing what to expect because it seemed a little more involved than just a regular message. Stormy was the therapist that counciled me and covered a lot of territory on what they do at WholeFrog. Instantly I felt very relaxed and interested in what she had to say. The message took care of the soreness in my hip area plus drinking lots of water is helping...... still drinking. Ive booked a second appointment to go back for treatment on a different area, and will be attending their upcoming seminar as well.Bottom line, I left feeling that Stormy made my health concerns a priority of WholeFrog. The staff is also very courteous at check-in and when you leave. They even follow-up with a phone call to check in on how your visit went and how you feel.

My experience at whole frog was perfect! I am 31 years old and I have had 3 herniated discs in my lower back since I was 16 years old. At this point in my life I am so used to the chronic discomfort I dont even remember what normal feels like. My work as a dental hygienist is surrounded by fear of chronic pain that can end my career. There is a constant worry of carpal tunnel and many Rsis. I found whole frog on my own google search and I am so happy I did. My first session was so thorough and unlike anything I have ever experienced. My Christmas Miracle: It was the Friday before Christmas on Monday and Id just fallen ice skating the night before. When I awoke with my hand even more swollen, my thumb quite possibly broken, and my wrist painfully tender, I had to decide where to go for care quick or suffer through the long holiday weekend. My options included any orthopedic or doctor that could squeeze me in, urgent care, or a massage therapist who is also a registered nurse. Barbara, business owner of Whole Frog, knew right away my thumb was not broken, attended to the areas of pain, and even asked her husband to bring over a brace for my wrist so I wouldnt have to run that errand. If that is not a whole service experience, I dont know what is! But the miracle came when the next day I awoke pain free and even able to wrap with my injured hand.
