The Customer Service and the Technicians that installed our fan are OUTSTANDING! I replaced an old fan with this new Quiet Cool Fan which is not only much smaller in looks, but also very quiet, and works AMAZING! I open a few windows to cool down the house, and within hours the entire house is cool and comfortable. I also had them install at my nieces home and she also loves it! I highly recommend Whole House Fan Company.

I first saw Whole House Fan Company 9 years ago at the Orange County Fair. I had them install a fan in my home as I did not have AC at the time and everything was great! I have been more than pleased with their product. Fast forward 9 years later and my fan just stopped working. I called to have them come out and they identified the problem was with my remotes. They had died and were not made anymore. Whole house was able to upgrade me to newer remotes under my parts warranty and my fan now works once again! I am beyond satisfied with the product, customer service and service tech/installer who fixed it.

We’ve had our house fan since August 2019. Zero complaints - zero problems - zero maintenance. It cools off the house in the evenings super fast - faster and less expensive than air conditioning while freshening the air, clears out smoke if the fireplace gets smokey or we burn something in the kitchen, and I don’t know if my science is correct but I like to run it to replace the air if someone is sick to reduce the viral load in the house too. The Whole House Fan Company took care of everything and I’ve been super happy with the results.

We had them install a quiet cool fan about a year and a half ago. We use it almost every day in the spring and summer.It works great and is quieter than a regular Whole House Fan.I have The Whole House Fan company twice now and both times they were right on the money and right on time. Found this company just through google search. I left messages for 2 other companies and Whole House Fan returned my inquiry call in a timely manner. They listened to our needs, cost concerns and timely installation questions. They could not have been more professional. They were very clear about what to expect in what they did and did not do for installation. There were no surprises except that everything was as planned. We referred several friends to this company for installation and one family has already installed theirs. A whole house fan is an absolute necessity when quick cooling a house. We wont be without one again! We are very, very happy with our fan and this company!!

Excellent product and customer service. Weve had our whole house fan for over 10 years and it really makes a difference in improving the air quality and temperature in our house. Most of the time, using the fan in the morning and evening is enough to keep the house comfortable all day without running the A/C. I met a rep from Whole House Fan Company at the OC Fair. I had been interested in a whole house fan but wasnt quite sure where to start. I set up a consultation meeting the following week and decided to go for it. I am so happy that I did. Ive had my fan for over 5 years with absolutely no problems. The fan is used almost everyday from May-September. I turn it on early in the morning and it keeps the house several degrees cooler throughout the day. Its also great to combat any bad odors ie burnt food.Im very pleased with the fan and Whole House Fan Company.

Have gone through them for install of 2 whole house fans...one in Sacramento and one in Southern california at another family members. Both fans were installed over 5 years ago, both serve the prospective houses well with amazing efficiency, and both are still up and running strong. I think the one in So Cal had a small issue about a year after install and the company came out within 2 days and fixed for free. Oh and the one in So Cal got my family members including the elderly through those very hot days last summer with NO backup air conditioning needed. You just have to time the turn-on when the afternoon breeze comes and run it through the evening and turn off and shut up your home when things starting warming in the late morning...perfect! We are all thankful for an awesome product and service!

This has been one of the best investments in our home. Our house is more than 100 years old and does not have central air. We installed the fan nearly ten years ago and are amazed at how quickly it cools our home - sucking the hot air out and pulling cooler air in. Would highly recommend if you’re looking to create more fresh air inside, reduce inside odors from cooking or pets, cool your home without an HVAC (we have HVAC and this fan sometimes is a better option!), or just refresh your living space when the house has been closed up. We didn’t know how much we needed this, until we got it. We ran our AC so much less this past summer because the whole house fan did such an awesome job of circulating the air around the house. This winter, I am going to try the warming technique to see if we can reduce our natural gas usage. It’s a powerful fan and at first I thought the noise would be too much, but after a few days, it’s more of a white noise and doesn’t bother any of us in the house. We referred 2 more people because of how awesome it is!

My installation was easy, so I have no complaints about the installation. I use the whole house fan frequently because I am a cheapskate and run the AC as little as possible.It performs less well than I imagined. In San Gabriel Valley I usually have to wait until after 9 pm before the outside temperature cools off enough, then it takes hours to cool off the house. Sometime around 3 am the temperature becomes comfortable. The greater the diurnal temperature difference the more effective is the Whole House Fan.The control is primitive allowing for three different speeds for 1, 2, 4, 8 hours. A WiFI connected digital control would be nice. The quiet fan is not much quieter, but is slightly more efficient and allows for a low speed, which what I like mostDespite my qualifications, I like the WHF a lot. I guess it is my cheapskate personality.

Whole House Fan installed a fan in my home about 10 years ago, it was one of the best investments I made in my home. It’s great when the nights are cool because it quickly cools down my house by bringing in air from outside throw any open window or door and blows out the hot air. Their fan is quieter and more efficient than other whole house fan’s I’ve seen and the self closing louvers look good.

Joshua and Matthew texted their ETA in advance and arrived in time. Both were efficient, polite, and helpful, providing useful information. Our installation may have been a bit challenging but they ended with a neat result (see photo). This was a changeout requiring cardboard to cover the existing hole pending drywall installation, as agreed. They respected our property, thoroughly cleaning up with a vacuum and mop after they were finished. Highly recommended.

I have had two property installs with this company and both units work great. With service issues they have always responded quickly and resolved them to my great satisfaction. They do not oversell; they will carefully calculate the maximum airflow that can be achieved based on the dimensions of your interior space and the exhaust flow limitations within your attic and crawl space, and will recommend only what you need that will work the most efficiently. Putting a whole house fan in my house is one of the best things I have ever added to my home. I wish I would have done it before I added air conditioning. I really believe that I would not have needed it. The fan does an excellent job of cooling the upstairs. The air conditioner doesn’t help with cooling upstairs. One of the best purchases I have made for the house. Since we live closer to the ocean AC doesn’t make a ton of sense, but the fan allows us to keep cool air in the house all the time. Summertime in So Cal can be miserable. You can run your A/C 24/7 and go broke, or simply bear the oppressive heat. Or……You can call Whole House Fan and have an efficient cooling system installed in your attic that draws the cooler night air in after the sun goes down. Turn off the A/C, turn on the Whole House Fan, open a window or two and the hot air is removed from your house and replaced with cool night air.These guys are the best! To be honest, I had spoke with another company regarding a Quiet cool whole house fan but never received an email for the quote that was given over the phone. I called The Whole House Fan Company and was greeted very nicely by Ella who took down my pertinent information and gave me a quote along with an email to back what she had quoted me over the phone. I accepted the quote and she scheduled the install in the same week. I was concerned about making sure my roof and soffits had enough ventilation to work well with the whole house fan, and Ella had assured me that when the installer came he would do an assessment of my attic vents.On the day of install, Jonah and Matthew showed up and Jonah was the one to do the attic assessment. I have new fiberglass batt type insulation and have been up in the attic several times, but not without a disposable full body suit. Jonah had on a tee shirt and jeans with gloves and a face mask which is why he selected the location for the hole to be cut in the hallway right next to the attic access. I was under the impression that it would of been better to be more centralized and also where the peak is the highest in the attic. I went with his selected location for cutting the opening for the exhaust vent.The fan has now been in for 6 days and it really is as good as the reviews Ive read. What I know now I wish Id have had this system put in years ago. I highly recommend The Whole House Fan Company to take your homes comfort to another level.The product gets 5+ stars, installation is closing in on 5.

The Whole House Fan Co. listen to my requirements made some great suggestions. They were prompt for their inspection and installation. They completed the job under four hours and then went through the training and had me up to speed quickly. I won’t the QC Stealth Pro 5.5X. It is powerful and cools the house quickly. At high speed the sound is not obtrusive and at low is not noticeable at all but still creates a quiet breeze. I highly recommend them.

Im very happy with my whole house fan. They were up front and honest on the location of the unit. We had to have it installed in the master bedroom to have it work. That was the only location where we had enough attic space. We dont mind the noise as it is white noise at night on low speed. It has helped us save tremendous amount of money. My current AC bill was about $700 to $800 a month during the summer. I work from home and I need the house to be cool. I guess the only downside for me when I think about it is just the location. I wish it was outside our bedroom. But that is nothing to do with their issue. It was the design of the house or we had the highest attic space. Other than that it has helped us tremendously on electricity bill.

I purchased my Whole House Fan in 2016. I have used it every summer. My air conditioning didnt cool my house below 80 and cost over $400 a month to operate. My costs are greatly reduced with nightly use of my Fan and closing my windows and shades in the day. I may have an occasional hot day in September but the reduction in my electric bill more than makes up for it. I wish I had known about this product before installing air conditioning!

I am very happy with the installation and the overall use of the whole house fan. I use the fan almost daily in the evenings as I like having my windows open. It creates air flow through the house and keeps my home at a good temperature especially in the evenings. I grew up with a whole house fan and really don’t see them as much as much in CA. I had one installed about 8 years ago in Long Beach and it is the best purchase I have made for our home. The fan itself works great, but the installers never finished the job…, They we’re supposed to install a wall-mounted switch along with the hand-held remote, but they said they didn’t have the hardware at the time of installation and so it still hasn’t been installed!Update! Youve noted that we were given free remotes, but we only received the one single button remote. I do find it interesting that you refer to it as a free remote, because without it we wouldnt be able to use the fan at all!

Wow! One of the best investments in my home. Turn it on all night, it has a timer, and it will lower the temperature of your house by over 20 degrees. I couldnt believe it when I first got it. I first used the whole house fan company many years ago for a rental we have. I loved the fan and the company so much we got a second one for our primary home! Absolutely love it. House feels musty turn the fan on, smells like fish from cooking? fan on, come home at night house is hot let the cool air in. Thank heavens for the whole house fan! I love to cook and usually get the smoke detectors triggered. The whole house fan comes to the rescue. It sucks out all the fumes and odors. We’ve had our Whole House Fan for several years now and we love it. We run it for a while early in the morning, then close all the windows. We don’t have to run the AC nearly as much as we used to. Save lots of $$$. In the evenings when the outside temp gets below 70F, we open up the windows and run it until we go to bed. Makes a nice cool breeze coming in the windows. Just love it. Had a minor problem with the controls once and they came right out and fixed it, no charge (updated the electronic controls). Couldn’t be happier with this product and the company.

We bought our fan a few years ago. We had issues with the fan around two years later and it stopped working. We were devastated! We called Whole House Fan Co. to report the issue. They came out immediately! It turned out that a string from a helium balloon had gotten wrapped around the fan causing the fan not work. The tech was able to replace the motor for us under the warranty. Needless to say but helium balloons are no longer allowed in the house!! The fan is back to normal and it works great. Our house gets stuffy and warm, but the fan does a great job of pulling in the cool air from outside and keeping our air conditioning bill down. We love it. This will be standard equipment for any house we buy.

I LOVE my Whole House Fan! It truly has changed my life. I have no central A/C so summer can be brutal here. Now, with the attic fan, I can flush the hot air out of my house very quickly in the evenings. I have the process down to a science, opening just one window on the shady side of the house first, and then others as each room cools down. If there are rooms Im not using, I keep those doors closed for best effectiveness. Most nights I turn it off when I go to bed, but Ill leave it on low when the extreme heatwave rolls around. I use my fan every day when it’s hot to cool off the attic prior to turning on the A/C. Then on cooler days I use it in the evening to bring in the fresh air. I also use it while cooking to keep the smells out. The reason for no 5* is because the salesman stated I could put the collector in a location I was happy with. I’ve had my fan for, in think 3 years. It’s a great improvement to my house. It saves me a ton on A/C costs. I open a few windows and turn the fan on low when I go to bed. When I get up in the morning the house temperature is a couple degrees warmer than the outside temperature, usually between 64-68 degrees. I shut everything up and the A/C usually doesn’t come on until around 4:00pm. If I move, I’ll buy another whole house fan.
