Whizins is a touch of many worlds....From the greatest 70s style dance and famous performers club, to antique Mart heaven, to a French gourmet bakery, an incredibly scrumptious BBQ place, a French market and deli, and shops with handmade items... and all with a Polynesian open air style, a downscaled old town feeling, surrounded by untouched mountains and wild oaks. Cant picture it? You have to come in person and plan to stay at the canyon club late to dance dance dance.

This is a hidden gem just off the 101 freeway that I discovered when I relocated here for work. Aside from the quaint shops and restaurants, the little market square hosts a Saturday farmers market that never fails, rain or shine. Its my go-to place for honey, eggs, produce flowers, yogurt and snacks and the shops have a variety of housewares, home decor, vintage, art, flower shop, apparel, restaurants and wine. Oh yeah, and a pretty awesome live music venue with some pretty low key good shows.

Its a beautiful place!!! There are details everywhere (like, horseshoes on the sidewalk, at the entrance!❤️; the architecture of the place; the lighting fixtures, the plants; etc) that makes you feel as if you stepped inside a magical place. Simple, elegant, and almost home-y, at the same time, if thats even possible! It makes you feel comfortable and ready to relax and enjoy your choices!👌🏻

We saw The Long Run, aka TLR at the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills. They are the best of the Eagles tribute bands, going back to 1999. They played to a packed house. Food service was adequate, but otherwise it was a great experience.

Whenever we have visited, only about 1/3 of the restaurants / cafes have been open. Which I find so odd. Literally no matter what day of the week. But it’s a nice setting, the vendors that are here seem good (nice variety!) and assuming we could try out everyone that looks like they’re in business here - it would be worth the drive to enjoy. We come up from West Hollywood to shop at the antique and art boutiques in the area.

Actually went to the Canyon Club there. Great place to see bands. I always go there to see an Irish Rock Band called the Young Dubliners. They play there about two times a year. Always such a fun night.

Remodeling a couple years ago gives it a fresh look. A nice place to walk around and see the different stores, mostly antique and galleries and if thats not your thing then you basically just come here for the restaurants. Check out who is playing at the Canyon. When the weather is nice then the atrium has a nice water feature with foliage. Plata and Basta restaurants both are very popular. Combined with the Canyon, parking has become tough. Usually at dinner time you have to park at the far end of the lot closer to DIY center.

On a blazing evening, there was little to no air conditioning and they used long tables for the event where the chairs were literally touching each other from the sides and backs. 1 non alcoholic and 1 regular beer was $25. Luckily, the event organizers were on point and the evenings event, Charity Karaoke, went very well.

Whizin Market Square is a huge outdoor mall with antique stores, boutiques, a jewelry store, a gourmet cafe, a barbeque restaurant, and the Canyon Club music venue. This old-fashioned shopping center has been in the Agoura Hills area for decades. Its located off of Agoura Rd, just South of Kanan Dr. The stores in this cute square are eclectic and offer interesting varieties of unusual and unique products.You will be happy you stopped by to visit.

Nice center. Its seen many changes over the years. Formerly a diner, stop between Santa Barbra and LA, now its own destination with a great Wood Ranch Restaurant and the Canyon Club as the main attractions (at least for me). There are many other shops and restaurants now. Very much worth exploring if you lived in the area or are just passing thru!

My only gripe is the parking lot can get very full by 7 p.m. But the place is pretty quiet up until about 5 or 6. Thats when people start rolling in to go to The Canyon Club concerts usually.Within this Square:Wood Ranch is what youd expect from an old school country type vibe.The Wine Place at Southeastern corner is pretty hip and modern.Basta has a great outdoor patio, perfect for mingling.The Latin place in the northwest corner is usually packed. Definitely get there early to get a table.

Fresh flavors, abundant portions. Old fashioned atmosphere with energetic staff. We made to feel welcome and were served quickly with beverages and delicious garlic rolls...our meals came right on time and were exactly as described on the menu. The food tasted great! I cannot figure out why previous customers said good parkingWhenever it is close to lunch or dinner at this place it becomes a struggle to find parking - - unless someone is willing to take a pretty far walk behind this mall.I do like some of these stores & restaurants. But it feels like the facility could use a very serious makeover to keep customers coming back and to acknowledge that this is a 21st century marketplace.

Trendy. But dont worry, I shop at Nordstrom Rack and I fit in just fine. Would be 5 stars if the parking layout was better and they had Tesla Superchargers (I dont have a Tesla, but that seemed like a woke thing to say in a review).Chips and Guacamole and the Blackberry Sage Margarita from Plata are worth the trip alone.

Have known this center since I have moved to Agoura in 1987. My favorite jewelry store Monica Jewelry Design located there. All handmade items... Carrera... for Italian sweets and coffee, and so much more. That place got its own special charm.

I grew up in Fountainwood during the 80s and spent a lot of time at Whizins.My dad used to have a boudoir photography studio there called Fantasy Photography, across the way was a mens only haircut salon (that would have playboy and the like as the magazines to browse while waiting- only in the 80s in CA) and they had the most amazing costume shop out along the highway.The wooded walkways, koi fish and The Latigo Kid rounded it out- the place always seemed magical.

Fun fun fun very nice old Mall including the iconic Canyon Club where you can revisit the 60s, 70s and 80s again with great bands like Styx, The Doobie Brothers,Three Dog Night, The greatest Beatle sound alike band in the world The Fab Four and many many more!!! You can have dinner and be seated right in front of the stage and really enjoy the concert much better I mean youre literally a few feet away from the artist! Nice acoustic nothing thats going to blow your ears out, just a lot of fun for the whole family if youre ever in town and you want to see a great concert look them up online and make a reservation for a band that interest you, guaranteed a great time for all!!!

Came to the Canyon Club for a date night with my wife to see the Boogie Knights band. It was the second time we’ve seen their show and we had a great time once again. They play all the grooving songs of the 70’s & 80’s and provided an entertaining show. The venue is great and I would come here anytime to see live music.

We love going to the Whizin Market Square! Im always looking for something to do with my toddler, and this is in our repertoire. I originally discovered this place years ago because of the large antique mall in it! I love antique malls! This one in particular is large, but its also VERY expensive. While I have bought things here before, I rarely do because its pricey. But each vendor sets their own prices... so its worth exploring. Actually, theres more than one antique mall, so check them all out.Back to why I go now... We will go for Ice Cream at Tifa! They are also pricey for what it is, but theyre really good. I just wish they had frequent buyers card or something. I have a separate review on them, so check it out. Generally, well go here and then walk over to the Screeching Owl Card store and check it out before making our way to the antique stores.There are also quite a few restaurants in here. I LOVE Hugos! You can check out my review on them too!While not every place in here would get 5 stars.. collectively as a place to go because there is so much, it gets 5 stars. Check it out.

Typically nice people in local stores but the center needs a remodel. Its been essentially unchanged for 20+ years. While its primary draw is its nightclub, that doesnt help the tenants in what is frankly nothing more than a very big L-shaped strip mall. No real sense of space to draw browsing customers.

Went to Agpura Antique Mart. Great place with interesting antiques, vintage & vintage inspired home decor. They also carry DIY paint! GPS will send you to their back door so go around & park in front. Its right next to the Canyon concert place. Several great eateries around, too!

If youre looking for unique artisan kinda shops and awesome non-chain restaurants, Whizin Market Square is your place! I was pleasantly surprised to see all the changes. The center has gone through some major renovations, and it has a very zen and artsy feel to it now. I did some shopping inside the atrium and there are stores both downstairs and upstairs (who knew!?? The Flying Owl has the funniest cards Ive ever seen in my life) and then had some lunch at Blue Table (killer, healthy food - cant wait to go back for wine and cheese in their bar- its so cute!). There are several new stores along antique row, but they are higher end and GORGEOUSSSSS. A Beautiful Mess Home was so nice, I wanted to move in. We dont need another super-chain mall, so please check this place out and support the small, local businesses.

An older mall, still hanging-on to that country feel from when Agoura Hills was out in the country. Nowadays, the challenge of getting to this place means that you probably came for a specific restaurant, business or concert. Easy to get in an out of. Half of the place has been face lifted, the other half still has an old Agoura country feel. Would be nice to see a brewery or something similar to the Anaheim Packing District or Culver Eataly come into the vacant spots

Fist time at Hugos. Love the food and service was fantastic. Felt the prices more then fair. Great parking, I am older and can not walk a long ways. Very short walk to entry. Can not stress enough how wonderful the staff is. Very impressed will be taking my son and his wife when next they visit. Whizins has really been kept up nice. Have lived in Agoura Hills for 40 yrs. Whizin has been around for years. This place has had a face-lift from country western to contemporary. Lots of small shops. Not much remains of the old antique mall heritage. The place is trying hard to be cool. Totally recommend an ice cream at the gelato shop, wine at the vinoteca next door, or a steak at woodranch.

I can say that the whizin market square is a decent little spot I do like the selection of stores and desserts places that they have here The parking is quite decent and the place is quite clean its kind of hard to notice if youre driving viral quick but I would say its worth it if you looking for ice cream or something like that

The shopping center needs a major renovation outside. The entire SW building has sewerage plumbing backup issues. Thats why each store has to burn candles all day (ask, storefront tenants will tell you).The owner of Agoura Antique Mart is a thorn in the sides of other tenants (again just ask around).Many of their spaces have roof leaks, which they say they will fix, and their porters try too, with results being unsuccessful. The shopping centers negligence then ruins tenants property, and they wont just own up to it being their old building. The office manager will say Thats what insurance is for, file a claim. (causing the tenants rates to increase when you already will be required to pay CAM fees.)Id never lease there again.

This place has been a fixture in Agoura for nearly 60 years. As a kid we use to hear the Whizens bell ring every hour on the hour two miles away in Fountainwood.The bell was eventually disconnected unfortunately.Originally built as a grocery store with many assorted small shops surrounding it.These days the shops are still there surrounding it but its no longer a grocery. Its now called The Canyon Club and features live music from lots of bands from the past. Most recently had David Cassidys last performance before he announced his retirement
