Whitaker is heaven-sent! My dog Happy found his home away from home for many years now! They take such good care of him and I appreciate their dedication, professionalism, and kindness. They pick up and drop off, which is incredible, and everyone on staff are lovely humans who truly care about the dogs welfare and the well being of the pack. I highly recommend them and appreciate them beyond words!

Whitaker Dog Day Camp is the best!! Peaches, my Doberman/German Shepherd mix, has been going here for almost two years now, and everyone I have met on their staff has been extremely kind and knowledgeable. In the LA area, I only trust Whitaker to take care of Peaches. She always comes back so happy and healthy! Thanks Whitaker!

When I moved back to Eagle Rock, I had to find some kind of daycare for my little 1 1/2 year old Frenchie, Sir Nigel II. I called 4 other daycare and the minute they heard he wasnt neutered, they either said NO! or he would be alone in another room and would get to go outside with a trainer to have some playtime ( SO BASICALLY SOLITARY CONFINEMENT 🥹) no thanks.To this day, I do not know how I Totally missed Whittaker Doggy Daycare.Im not sure who I originally spoke with the very 1st time, but to this day, the entire Organization from top to bottom have shown so much compassion.Ok, enough. Mark then called me to inquire about Nigel and the Protocol that they follow. It was rather quick, he came to my house for an interview with me and Nigel, and of course Nigel couldnt stop jumping on him. I was very embarrassed, but he assured me that it wasnt a problem and that Nigel was a perfect candidate to attend daycare. The following Saturday they scheduled Nigel for an orientation to see how interacted with other dogs... he passed with flying colors. And the minute they dropped him off, he knocked out in his bed for the night. In closing, I realize that this review is probably a Novel, but I want to personally thank everyone from Whittaker DDC, for taking the BEST of care for my Baby Nigel. I now go to work much calmer and not stressed about leaving my dog at home for long hours of the day playing with his toys.They are always updating me withpick up/dropoffs and extra info. on how his day went. I have known Ethan Whitaker for around 10 years. Firstly as the brother of an artist I worked with, and then as a friend.I am beyond happy with what he has created with his doggy daycare. I have always known him to be someone with a huge heart and know that both he and his staff all have that as prerequisite.My Doberman had an amazing time on his first day and came back so well behaved exhausted and cared for!!Thank you Ethan & The WDDC Fam!!

Whitaker Dog Day Camp takes the absolute best care of my dog. They pick her up and drop her off, they are always reliable and trustworthy, sending me a text when they’re close so I know when she’s home. The photos they post of her on their Instagram story are the cutest and she has the best time there. I also really like that their outdoor area is really big and covered so they can have shade. Anytime she sees a member of the team approaching she gets super excited. Sending my dog to Whitaker makes me feel at ease knowing they’re taking great care of her while I’m at work. I highly recommend to anyone who works long days.

Whitaker has been a great way to keep our very social dog busy a few days a week! She comes home happy and tired out. The pickup/drop off service is extremely helpful on workdays. We heard about Whitaker from a neighbor, and we recommend their services to friends with dogs all the time. Getting to see photos of our dog on their private Instagram page at the end of the day always gives us a good laugh.

This place has been outstanding for me and my two dogs. I have a job that requires randomly busy work hours and Whitaker Day Care makes sure my boys are taken care of just like they would take care of their own pups. 100% recommend this place especially with all the services they provide for your doggies!

Whitaker is the place we have been looking for! From the Admin to the drivers they cover all the bases. We had a hard time finding a place who has a staff who actually understands dogs. Having the dogs picked up and dropped off has been a huge help. The socialization that our dogs are learning has really shown on our daily walks. When they see the van roll up they both go bananas and show up at home later TIRED!Love this place 10/10 recommend.

Whitaker has been so great for our pup! She’s been going for over 3 months now and loves it. The pick-up/drop-off makes it a lot easier for us and she comes home happy (and tired). When we need to change her schedule or add extra days they are always very accommodating. So happy to have found them!

Whitaker Dog Day Camp are the best! I’ve been boarding my dog Luna there since she was a puppy and she always comes home happy. 🐶 Ethan is incredible and very trust worthy as well as the staff. I never have to worry when I’m gone for weeks at a time that she’s in good hands. Ethan and his team are awesome! They make taking care of our dogs easy as they offer grooming, boarding and daycare (yes we use them for all 3 services). Great communication and dependable! Ethan has been taking care our dogs for almost 2 years now - our dogs look forward to seeing the Whitaker bus pull up for pick up. The pups literally can’t contain their excitement 🤣 the best part of my day is watching their Instagram story & finding funny pictures of our pups at camp. if you’re looking for a doggie daycare run by genuine people who really care about your dogs - choose Whitaker.

We came by Whitaker by chance and decided to give them a try when we had a last minute trip pop up. Ethan came out to interview our pup and made arrangements to get a missing vaccination taken care of while we were away. Everyone weve encountered at Whitaker have been caring and professional. The added convenience of pickup and drop off have made this our new go-to boarding and day care family.

We had a great experience with Whitaker! Our dog loved his days and nights there! I can’t say enough about the team who pick and drop him off—truly wonderful and kind people! Buster bolted out the door to greet them! He was also always difficult in our car and now he rides in the front or back seat with us no problem! You won’t be disappointed!

Since starting Whitaker, our dog seems a lot calmer and we really appreciate everyone that takes care of him. We’ve done boarding several times, and it’s gone great. Also the scheduling support is very responsive. Overall- highly recommended!

Ethan and his team are awesome!!! He is such a nice guy and we LOVE the program! His doggie day care/boarding is top notch. So incredibly convenient for my fur baby, Cookie, and I (especially having her picked up at my door front.) The facility is so clean and the dogs love being there. I got updates on how Cookie was doing which really put me at ease. He makes sure all the dogs have their vaccines and even have a mobile clinic that they partner with. So I dont have to worry about her getting sick. I know she is in great hands and love that shes getting some much needed playtime! Highly recommend.

Whitaker Dog Day Camp is the best! I trust them completely with my dog. They are always on time for pick-ups and keep us posted when they are close to home for drop off. Our dog loves going and he really enjoys himself while there. We’ve been at other dog day care facilites but Whitaker beats them all. Chase always comes home so happy and tired, and I can see his smiling face on my camera when he is picked up and dropped off. All of the staff, from Ethan to scheduling line to drivers to on-site techs are truly kind. I feel blessed to have this resource for days when I have to work long hours, or for overnights. Thank goodness for the reliable dog lovers at WDDC! Two other things I also love, the prompt and clear communication and the fun instagram pics, AND as an added bonus the crew sends special pics on site when I can’t get online. Above and beyond dog care.

As a German filmmaker and dog friend and who is also a filming and editing Ethans promotion Videos, I can assure that the reason Im helping him to help his business are because I truly believe and experienced, that Ethan is making a positive affect in the life of all his dogs in his care. Moreover Ethan helps dogs in in enhancing their daily social life activities and in schooling social deprived dogs for a better behavior.
