2024-05-07 17:28:33I will not take my car back for any reason. They had my car in their possession for 2 weeks .I had to call repeatedly to get any update on repairs being made .The man that was my “advisor” seemed to be the only one who can answer any questions for me but he was ALWAYS busy and I would get told countless times I’d get a call back and NEVER received one .I’d call back for the update and would be told “oh he went home sorry “I was left two weeks with no form of transportation because wheeler told my warrenty place that the car was “driveable” but in no way was it safe for me and my 1 year old to drive. I was told multiple times my car would be ready a certain day and when that day came there was a reason for it to be pushed out further .There communication was a joke, it took forever for the repairs to be done and I feel like I was taken as a joke .I will not return

2024-02-23 01:41:36I have taken my car here to get serviced and repaired for the last six years and have not had any issues. However after today I will not be returning thanks to Jolene Woodford.I brought my CX-5 in last September to get the brake light switch replaced. A month or so ago, I noticed that my brake light wouldn’t turn on until I pressed on the pedal half way. Lightly tapping on my brakes would not trigger my brake light and I found that to be a safety issue. I also noticed that there were times my push-to-start would not work unless I pressed my brake all the way to the floor when prior to the brake switch replacement, all I had to do was engage it maybe half way to turn on. I assumed that maybe these issues were related to the switch replacement. So I brought it in to get it checked out and possibly fixed. When all is said and done, Jolene calls me to tell me my car is ready for pick up and when asked, she tells me that the “fix” she made had nothing to do with the replacement. She said that all she had to do was “adjust a tab on the brake pedal” in order for the lights to work. However, the brake light switch is what triggers the brake lights, so how are they not related? And if they’re not the same component, but right next to each other, how do they know that it wasn’t moved by the mechanic who made the replacement? My husband went to pick up my car to question her further and she insisted that the two components had nothing to do with each other. To make matters worse, she told my husband to “make sure your wife actually presses on the brake in order to start the car” as if I don’t know how to use the car I’ve owned since 2015. My issue was not that I wasn’t engaging the brake, but that I needed to completely push it in (more than I usually had to) in order for it to work. All this to say that Jolene is a scammer and condescending. But she was successful because I paid the ridiculous amount of $400 all just to “adjust a tab”. But guarantee, I will never come to this place again.

2023-06-06 16:12:30We called in advance and Jose had the car we wanted to see all ready for us. He text us the address of the dealership and provided easy directions. We asked for an out the door price, and paperwork was easy, no haggling. Aaron in financing was pleasant and kind. Overall, we had an excellent experience and the car was washed with a full tank of gas when we were done completing paperwork. Nice experience!

2023-05-21 20:52:33I purchased my vehicle at wheeler auto center and have continued to throughout the years to have my car serviced exclusively at this location! Everyone from the receptionist, sales team, financing, service department at even the body shop has been nothing but constant professionals! Tina and Will in the body shop are fantastic and my car was brought back to life, like new, even a few days earlier than expected! I hope I don’t have to be back, but if I do, I know I’ll be in good hands!

2023-01-08 06:33:56Very very poor customer service. The receptionist needs more training on how to speak with people if she’s the one greeting costumers on the phone. The dealership saw me last minute, which I thanked them for & still do to this day. Because I know it was last minute, but it was due to an emergency & I am not from Yuba City. (Not that it’s their problem, which is why that was nice of them to do) Anyways, they didn’t do what I asked & still charged me for something else. I asked for a transmission oil change with a new filter and they agreed. After paying and leaving & arriving back to my home town to take it to the shop, the shop informed me Wheeler Dealership only did a fluid drain according to the paperwork/receipt. Which is NOT what I had asked for. When I came to pick up my car, the staff were all really rude. Barely spoke with me, gave no information on what was done to my car, and sent me to the front to pay by pointing a finger. I don’t expect much, but if whoever is reading this actually cares about improvements, I would highly consider speaking with staff about the importance of costumer service. Especially if the client, isn’t being rude or asking for something ridiculous from staff. They made me feel worse on a day they was already pretty sh*tty thanks to my car. I hope nobody gets in trouble, but I do sincerely hope that the staff gets educated more on customer service. It makes a difference when somebody gets treated like staff cares about them and their car problems. Instead of making the costumer feel like they’re annoying and a stress to their work day. Thank you for your time.

2023-03-01 23:15:52Came up to take a look at a new car after calling to check it was available, and it ended up being the one for me. Staff was very nice and informative during the test drive, and we were able to come to an agreement over the price that I was happy with. Negotiations were fast, straightforward, and cordial. I visited this dealership from out of town and was happy I made the trip

2022-08-04 19:50:01Great locally owned car dealership. We bought a new car from them everything was great, price fine, especially with all the chip problems out there. I was disappointed in our first service that was offered. My tires on this car after being rotated balanced aired up, it turned out that three tires were inflated 10 lb over what is recommended and then one tire was 10 lb underneath what was recommended. I called the service department and they said yeah well talk to somebody but I dont like having to double check their work. I checked the oil as well and thank goodness that was okay. Right now having good staff is hard these days. Everybody needs to make a profit so I have to give him a break. Wouldnt you?

2022-06-12 19:34:57I appreciate the Wheeler Auto Centers service departments communication, service, and friendliness. From the moment I dropped off my vehicle, the night before the scheduled service date, I received a text message informing me how I could directly communicate with the service representative any time during the service. She quickly and courteously responded to every message I sent. The service was completed the next day, in less time than I had anticipated, and detailed documentation of the work was provided to me in a format that was easy-to-read and understand. Communication, service, and friendliness continued throughout the experience even as I made my payment and collected my vehicle.

2022-12-04 07:02:28My service advisor put very little effort into assisting me with my experience at Wheeler. He often gave me misinformation on my vehicles status and instead gave me information about another clients vehicle. He misinformed me multiple times on the service I was receiving and the cost related to those services. After inquiring about what my warranty and asking questions about what it covered, I was told I had to pay everything out of pocket. I knew this wasn’t the case since I had Chevrolets Platinum warranty so I called them directly to ensure my car services were covered. Although my service advisor told me my service was not covered, I came to find out that it was. He made minimal attempts to assist me in each of my visits and calls. Often times giving me passive answers and the occasional run around. When I called to follow up I was not given any helpful information on the status of my vehicle. If it weren’t for me being proactive and calling in to check the status I don’t know that I would have received updates or crucial information about my vehicle service nor would I have received the service needed to ensure my vehicles safety on the road. I often felt he was agitated with me asking questions and after many attempts to follow up and check in on the status of my diagnostic, costs of service and service information, I gave up. Luckily a family member of mine is a financial advisor for another Chevrolet dealership and helped me with what I needed to do to advocate for myself and my vehicle.I was extremely displeased with my service and would not recommend this dealership to anyone I know. Upon checking my vehicle out, the older women in the customer service department was extremely pleasant and ended up reimbursing me for money I paid for my diagnostic and rental vehicle, money I should have not paid in the first place.Management/HR might want to reconsider Bobby Thao’s position as a service advisor. His desire to and execution with helping people in need of car services, is absent. I paid a lot of money for my vehicle and the warranty and was shocked at level of service I received. In addition to that, the lack of professionalism was extremely unsettling when entrusting him to take care of my car. I will never go back and will gladly drive an hour or more to the next dealership to avoid Wheeler all together in the future.
