I purchased some pre-built drawers from Western Dovetail recently. The quality was excellent; all the joints were extremely tight and solid. Packaging for shipping was top notch. Product was shipped when promised. It was an excellent transaction in all regards.

I walk by Western Dovetail nearly everyday at lunch and admire the great quality of their work when I see it being prepared for shipment or being loaded for delivery. Who would have thought drawer boxes could be so beautiful and well made. Their drawer boxes are worth every cent their customers pay for them. The have tight joints, smooth high quality finishes and are truly are beautiful to look at and touch. You should see and smell the cedar drawers they make. They are very innovative also. They can make drawers to fit any odd shaped design you can think of.Western Dovetail is a tight, well run operation. The staff seem happy and though they are really busy, they seem happy in their work.Western Dovetail is very conscious of the value of their raw materials and you can see by their scraps, that they make the best use of all of their wood and finishes. They are careful about recycling and know the importance of filling their dumpsters to the max before emptying them.

I just got an order from them and it was just about perfect. The drawers fit perfectly and the slides that came with them were a perfect combination and also fit and worked perfectly. I had some special requests that took a little time to discuss with them, but it turned out better than I really expected it to. They were ready right about on schedule. I expect every time I order custom materials that there will be a few mistakes, but I didnt find any this time.I got other drawers from other suppliers in the past that needed a lot of fiddling with to fit right and stuff, but these installed very quickly without any frustration. I think I installed 12 or 13 drawers in about 2 hours. If you knew how meticulous I was, and that I never rush, youd realize someone not taking that much care could do it much faster. Last time I installed drawers, with fixing and adjusting this and that, it probably took between 30 and 45 minutes per drawer. Im used to others working with screws into hardwood not pre-drilling and splitting the wood, but didnt find any problems with this, as they installed the drawer clips.The finish was very good. Not perfect, but very good. Perfect almost never exists in the cabinet industry. Theres no reason for it not to be very good if its part of what they do as a major part of their business. But Ive seen tons of mediocrity, rough and inconsistent finishes, puddling, etc. from others in the past.

The entire experience, from my initial order online, to the production/shipping time, and finally the completed project was flawless. Excellent workmanship and execution! I will 109% use Western Dovetail again and recommend to my friends and family.

Im a retired professional woodworker/cabinet maker and did business with Western Dovetail for..., hmmm. Ill just say a very long time. Ive never had any quality control issues with them. Theyve always done what they said they would do. Small orders were treated with the same respect as large orders. And finally, orders were produced on time. Theyre very professional. I dont think I need to say more and I highly recommend them.

We have been using Western Dovetail for all our custom bunk room drawers for several years and they do very quality work! Theo is awesome at customer service as well!

Would rate them as a zero if I could. I purchased $300+ in drawer slides through their amazon store front Chason28. Half the pairs were bent or broken, description said came with screws - I recieved on 8 screws for 12 slides and drawer clips so they didnt send enough to do even one drawer. Their banner on their store front states Chason28 is committed to providing each customer with the highest standard of customer service - I attempted several times to contact them and have had no response to my communication attempts regarding the deficiencies or damaged product.I recommend that you look elsewhere if you might need support from Western Dovetail.

I agree with the other positive reviews. Very good product, and when I called with questions they were helpful and polite! I like their website interface for orders, except that it bogs down frequently, making the ordering process tedious at times. However, as I said the quality of the product makes it worth the time spent.
