My appointment was at 11 but I wasnt seen until 12. I said I was there for a teeth cleaning and then they told me that the hygienist was off on Fridays!This place is the ultimate in a jack-leg, ghettofied shoddy run business.Please DONT waste your valuable time going there!

Great experience.I was sent there at 2pm but I finally was taken cared of at 4.It went well, I had bad anxiety and they let my husband hang out prior to my or surgery.Also the people were so nice that worked there.They were kind to me.I thought Maria, Jessy and the cool tall x ray tech was nice .I also liked the Dr Suarez and the nice medical assistants .They helped make my oral surgery feel easy to do

NOTE: the first picture was taken 2 days after Brentwood Smiles’ surgery doctor pulled 5 teeth and a bone graft. This was in January 2024. It took me longer to heal because the surgeon was so rough and he used permanent stitches, which if you Zoom in will show they were poking almost through my cheek and was irritating the inside of my mouth.I decided to go to Western Dental in Vallejo to have the rest of my implants done. On May 21,2024 I had the remaining 7 upper teeth pulled by Dr Saweres Oral Surgeon at Western Dental, and Dr Saini followed up to check on the gums and the temporary denture.The second picture is 2 days after the surgery at WD. No swelling, he used dissolvable stitches. He pulled the teeth with excellence. And put the post in For the implants. I was amazed that my Face was not jacked up. I wish I had gone to Western Dental at first.(I may not be able to post the pictures, but you can go to Brentwood Smiles in Antioch and check their reviews. The photos are there)

DO NOT FALL INTO THEIR GUM X SCAM!!!!!!!! I am 25 and I regularly brush my teeth floss about 2-3x a day do not smoke, or eat sugar daily...... they checked my gum pockets and told me I have gingivitis, i have NEVER had swollen or bleeding gums, and only 2 cavities but somehow my teeth were at risk at falling off?? I got tricked into buying this medication that was about $1700. The front desk lady pushed me into applying for a credit card when i clearly told her i didnt have any money for this treatment . But they make you feel like you NEED it and your teeth are in HORRIBLE condition. so now i am stuck with a debt im forced to pay because they want to make money off lying to people about their condition instead of suggesting other cheaper alternatives ..... they are horrible as soon as i am dont with my treatment i paid in advanced i will be going somewhere else.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! This is my first and last time dealing with Western Dental. Left work early and showed up for an appointment only for the Sonoma office to be closed. Contacted the scheduling service only to be told that the appointment had been scheduled for a this office! Went to the this office only to find that I was not on the schedule at all. Complete waste of my time!

Went in for an extraction, didnt want the bone graft for $400 They wouldnt do it unless I paid. So I did. Then iral surgeon went to start my procedure with his mask down. And was only inches from my face. I had to remind him to pull it up.i will never go back there again. The office staff are really nice. Those doctors there should have their license revoked

My 94 year old mother-in-law needed a crown replaced, which concerned us as she has arthritis and can’t sit for long. But we were very pleased with Doctor Saini’s sensitivity to our mother-in-laws needs and did a great job trying to get her in and out within a reasonable time. Both Dr. Saini and assistant Lubby made my mother-in-law feel comfortable and the crown looks great! We recommend visiting Dr. Saini and her team.

Jason cleaned my teeth yesterday. He showed me by using a mirror where my problems were. While it was a bit pricey I want to keep the teeth I have and therefore he did a very thorough cleaning job and treatment of problem spots. He gave me good advice as how I can do a better job with my brushing so today I purchased a real electronic tooth cleaner. I expect in 4 months I will have a much better checkup. Jason is very personable and I appreciated his recommendations. He made sure I was comfortable throughout his procedure.

I recently switched insurance carriers and Western was the most accessible in regards to location. It was easy to make an appointment online. I scheduled my first cleaning with the Plaza location on August 10th, 2023 for 12pm.When I drove 20 minutes from my home to show up on time I was turned away for absolutely no good reason. I met with the receptionist who had an attitude and kept trying to refer me to call corporate because she had no access to do anything and there were other patients being seen so theres no way to squeeze me in even though I had an appointment and she even acknowledged my appointment for 12pm. When I first arrived she made a strange comment saying we usually dont have 12 oclock cleanings. And they are trying to close at 2pm so I cant do anything there are two other locations in Vallejo so call corporate to get an appointment, all I have here is another opening on the 31stI was extremely upset to be turned away Ive been waiting over three weeks to be seen. So I left, called corporate and they said The same location has an opening for a cleaning at 1:30pm. I wanted a confirmation email to make sure because I didnt trust it but she wasnt able to do that so I had to take the corporate operators word for it. I showed up at 1pm and seen the hygienist walking out the building with a weird smirk on his face, I guess happy to be off early and to dodge the 1:30 appointment he seen pop up on the schedule from corporate. When I walked in another receptionist told me the last hygienist just left so I could not be seen.Once again, getting turned away without any notice or apology for their incompetence to keep an organized schedule. I could only imagine the care I would have received if they did take me, dodged a bullet. I will never be returning. UNPROFESSIONAL and DISRESPECTFUL to patients.

Dont ever go there I went there yesterday when I get appointment on the phone they said the x-ray is free even the website saying x-ray is free but when I went there they asked 160 dollar for it we didnt pay but they asked for it after we complained they said ohh we can do free so they trying to scam people also I waited for a long time after checking my teeth I was in pain but we waited at least 30 min just for getting the price after price they said this is hard tooth removal so this is not basic this will cost 1800$ but we can do for 850$ but not today you should wait until 15 December but at the night time I went another doctor he checked and he finished in 10 minutes with much better professionalism in much better area for 350$ so dont go there bc they are really not cheap like they said they are most expensive in the area and even like i said they tried to scam me

Dr. Saini installed my new crown for my first ever implant. Lubby assisted and both of them made my experience comfortable and smooth going. Im only giving them 3 because everyone was nice and they honored a free exam even though their call center who told me it was free was apparently wrong. And therein lies the reason why they dont get more stars - its absurdly difficult to get in touch with anyone at the actual office because they outsource all calls and scheduling. I want to be able to call my providers office and reach my providers office. I want to be able to get in touch with people about mt specific treatment, not a busy call center that only takes appointments. The first time I called to make an appointment for an EMERGENCY, i was told I couldnt be seen the same day because of insurance reasons that didnt make sense, the sevond time I called I got an appointment. Not okay when dealing with emergencies.In my case, I was referred to an endodontist and when I asked for them to send my xrays, they never did and getting in touch to follow up on my request was completely impossible. In an emergency, this is unacceptable.My other issue with this practice is their superfluous billing - even with coverage in networrk, treatment costs $1800+ and includes an expensive take home gum x medicine which seemed super gimmicky. They have tvs in every room so it seems like they are billing people well.

I had a dental emergency and was able to be seen the same day that I called. The talented, kind and expert service provided by Dr. Saini, Lubby & Mouloud was incredible. The front office staff was also friendly, informative and knowledgeable. Dr. Saini was the only dentist on-site and managed to juggle multiple patients without me feeling rushed and while paying close attention to each patients care.When I had a question about the procedure, Mouloud not only answered my question but even went so far as to get a diagram and walk me through the process from start to finish. Lubby was so gentle and proactive in addressing my needs and explaining my after care.For someone in terrible pain with dental anxiety this was the best possible trip to the dentist.

Do NOT GO HERE. You’re better off with a private dental practice. I had an appointment and still waited almost an hour in the waiting room for them to tell me they needed to do a “special” cleaning and that I had to watch a video. I told them I didn’t have time and had to get back as I had left my grandparents alone. The hygienist was very condescending. I just wanted a cavity filled and was told they couldn’t do it unless I had the cleaning done first. I call bs. Most dentists thoroughly clean the area then proceed with the filling. The only good thing about this place was the dental assistant doing x rays. She was very nice and professional. Genuinely not a legitimate dental practice only after making as much money as possible and refusing to do treatment unless you give in.

The worst place I’ve been. After getting rescheduled, the doctor told me I need a deep cleaning. They made an appointment for deep cleaning, sat me down on the day of my appointment, showed me some videos and told me they will reach out to schedule my deep cleaning again. I went here for a second opinion and they told me 18-24 months. My treatment went faster than I thought and I was out of braces in 18 months. I love my new smile and I’m so happy I went here. Brought my 8 yr old here for braces. He’s always hated the dentist but let me just say Deonna is AMAZING with kids. She was really good with easing his nerves and so caring. Sidenote- I came for myself years ago and didnt have the best experience with a dentist who is no longer there. Things have definitely changed. I cracked a porcelain crown I had that was almost 20 years old, and was so happy that Western Dental was able to see me on short notice. I was not in pain from the tooth, but the cracked crown was left with a sharp edge that was cutting the underside of my tongue.I felt well taken care of by Dr Saimi and RDA Mouloud. I had an (extremely rare) reaction to the numbing agent that was used during my first visit - so rare that Dr. Saimi had never seen that before. It was not a dangerous reaction; I just had swelling that persisted for a few days. However Dr. Saimi stayed in constant contact with me, got me a second opinion by a specialist, and made more than one personal phone call to see how I was doing.My new crown fits beautifully and I’m extremely happy with my treatment. No person is exactly the same and occasionally, complications can arise. This is true with all medical and dental procedures. However, *how* those complications are handled matters a great deal, and I have nothing but good things to say about my Dr. Saimi and RDA Mouloud. They were caring and professional and I’ll happily return.

I went in for a check up at 9AM on Monday. It took them an hour to see me, I was able to get my X-Rays done and had to wait another hour before someone could see me to examine my teeth. I was then told I needed a deep cleaning and that it would cost around 2000 dollars with my insurance, DeltaCare USA, and then had to wait almost another hour to have them start the process with impressions. I almost went through with their plan, but instead called my father for his opinion. My father had his deep cleaning done at John Bruns for significantly less. I went to them today and will be having it done at ZERO COPAYMENT. Attached is the draft bill I received from them where they tried to upswell me on their products and lied about the cost of the deep cleaning. If you need a deep cleaning done, check with John Bruns.

Dr. Tan is a gem! Trust me when I say you’re lucky to find a dentist like her. Coming from out of state I was just lucky to find her.The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I miss Smile Care, they were great. Since, Western Dental bought them out, it’s been horrible. When you call, it’s either long hold times or hung up on. If you don’t make your appointment, will keep rescheduling it. They are very unprofessional & rude. They made my daughter an appointment, when they checked her in & took her to the back, 1 hour later they came to me in the waiting area & told me the Doctor wasn’t there. Well excuse me I got dropped off & had to pay $20 to get there. You would think someone would have called me to let me know what happened, since they have 5 or 6 employees of Hispanic women, sitting around the office area talking in there language. Another time, I called to make an appointment & the receptionist put me on hold for 30 minutes. So, I drove there & asked to see a manager. I told her I was still on hold, when she picked up the phone, she believed me & apologized. This place is not good, save your time & money & go some where else.

I went here last week and was going to get a check up and teeth cleaning which is covered under my DeltaCare coverage. I have good teeth with no pain anywhere. I was told there would be no charge for X-rays but they failed to tell me they were going to do a Intraoral X-ray which wasn’t covered. The charge was $224 when I could have had the basic X-ray at no charge. They proceeded to do the exam and explained that I needed deep cleaning, 5 crowns and a bite guard for a total of $14883.50. I said no thanks and then they refused to do my periodontal cleaning because I refused the Gingival deep cleaning. This place is only interested in selling you jobs. I went in for an X-ray and teeth cleaning, I had to wait two hours in the waiting room and was told there was now not enough time to do both the X-ray and the cleaning, so I would have to come back another day to wait again. Staff was friendly enough, but because of the bad management my X-ray tech had to work through lunch just to see me. The place is clean and staff is friendly. I always have trouble contacting their office through phone, so if you need to speak to the receptionist you will have very slim chances of reaching them. The number will redirect you to their main customer service hub that works with all Western Dental offices so they are not able to help you with anything else other than scheduling an appointment. That is the frustrating part for a client like me who was told they would call me back for follow up but never received a call back. Overall, a decent place. If you go for your routine check ups and cleaning, you should have no problems. If you go for additional items, you may have more difficulty with communication from the office. I hope this helps!

I wish I could give them 0 stars because this establishment deserves that. I had a new patient appointment scheduled for 10 AM, and I was only taken back to start my x-rays at 11:05 AM, strike one. I was waiting in the lobby with two other people who had appointments as well. After 30 minutes of waiting for a long time, one of those patients went to go ask the front desk receptionist for an estimate of how much longer it would take to be seen. With an attitude and elevated tone, the receptionist, Sabrina, told the patient that they were waiting on insurance verification. Eventually, one of those patients cancelled their appointment due to the long wait time.If insurance verification is the stalling point for a new patient appointment, staff should actively be checking/verifying insurances the day before as common office practice to avoid delays in care. Just as the office has appointments that we as patients must respect, the office also needs to respect the time and schedules of their patients.Then, once I was finally done with my x-rays, I was then seated again to WAIT, WAIT, WAIT and WAIT some more. It was close to 11:40 at this point when I finally got up and went to go ask the staff members what the hold up was. Not one staff member bothered to follow up on the wait times of thier patients. Now, I would understand if this office was packed with patients, but because of COVID, it looks like this office is booking to half of the capacity that they normally would. In other words, there were very few patients in this office that morning.The dentist eventually came to check out my teeth, suggested some absurd and co$tly procedures, which was strike 2.Then, I was handed off to the dental hygienist who had just been told off by another patient. The patient claimed that the dental hygienist was trying to upsell her procedures and services that were unnecessary. That patient eventually walked out of the appointment because she too was fed up with the office. This was the same patient I mentioned in the beginning. This is exactly what that same dental hygienist tried to do with me, strike 3. He was pushing either a procedure or medication on me that were entirely unnecessary. He was adamant about selling me some periodontal defense procedure. At this point, It was close to 12 PM, and I was only getting more upset and frustrated because in the end, they wanted to re-schedule my appointment. I guess it got too close to lunch.In the end, this office lacks professionalism, honesty, transparency, and basic customer-service skills. I had my doubts coming into this office because of the patient reviews stating the SCAMMY upselling and long wait times, and sadly my visit was a confirmation of those reviews.This was the FIRST and LAST time I set foot at Western Dental. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE TO ANY OTHER PATIENT!I feel so bad for the community of Vallejo, an already medically vulnerable community because practices like Western Dental take advantage of patients by pushing services and procedures that are unnecessary. Not only that, but this community deserves dental practices that will treat their patients with RESPECT and DIGNITY.

This is the third Western Dental Orthodontics I have seen and my preferred office. I drove from San Francisco all the way to Vallejo and I feel it was worth the drive. Staff is friendly constantly working. People can mistake that for being rude or too serious but thats not the case. Just because they are not gossiping about their life or a TV show doesnt mean they are not friendly. Personally I feel any time at the dentist is too much time sooo I would say the time it took to be seen was moderate or ok. Faster than the other WDO. They were very detailed and showed me everything I needed. I switched to the Gateway Plaza location since the Sonoma location is unsanitary and the workers, especially front desk are rude and could care less, not to mention the disorganization which causes extremely long waits. Gateway location is kept clean and orderly and the staff from front desk to back are amazing. Adrian, who is at the front, really takes his time and actually cares and is always informative. With Covid19 I discovered I wasnt able to accompany my 12 year old to the back and at 1st I was taken back and nervous but the doctors made sure to keep me updated and took such great care of her.

They will keep charging you on braces until it gets to $3000 and thats when they tell you that you owe. They will charge $300 for removal. I avoided going to the dentist for years and consequently, my mouth needed a major overhaul. Last time I had an appointment for a simple cleaning, waited in the lobby area for 30 minutes, watching some creep prowling around the cars outside. That made me really nervous about staying. I finally asked about my appointment, so they put me in a chair in the back, where I waited for another 30 minutes. No one even came to check on me. I finally walked out because I had places to be. Management needs to figure out a better staffing plan and stop overbooking this place. Im finding another dentist.

This is always my go to office! I’ve been coming here for over 10 years, all the employee are amazing, always walk in with a great happy greeting from the crew, came in today for a cleaning ended up finding out I have a Cavity, got it fixed same day as quick as 45 mins, no time wasted! Definitely recommend this dentistry to all families!

This place is horrible! Unprofessional and never answers the phone, or if they actually do, it’s the longest wait or you don’t get through anybody. I also waited a long wait time which I normally don’t mind but this place is to the extreme. The biggest issue with me is they tried talking me into a procedure (that I had already done and paid for before with them) but I refused to do it and pay AGAIN and they said ok. But then I see a bill sent to me! The procedure wasn’t done and I didn’t sign the paper, so how am I getting a bill??? This place is all about money and they could care less about the patients. I’m so extremely disappointed that I’m willing to drive to Fairfield for a different company altogether. Go somewhere else!!

When I first came into this office about two years ago it was for fillings and wisdom tooth extractions. My visit was a good one, everyone here was friendly and the wait was not too bad. When I first came in to become a client it was a long wait which I did not mind because they are having you fill out paperwork. Fast forward two years later I came back for a estimate for braces. I was able to have my top brackets put in place same day. 6 months into my treatment I came in to put in my bottom brackets on, one of my brackets broke same night. I was a little upset because I had to go through the weekend like this. I called first thing Monday morning and I was told that the receptionist could not make me an appointment to fix my bracket. I was told to wait until the ortho doctor was in the following day and that I would get a call back. Tuesday came and I didnt receive a call. I called to make my appointment and I was told the doctor was not in and would not be in for the rest of the week which made no sense. Okay so your telling me that I am paying thousands of dollars to this place and I cannot even set an appointment to fix a bracket that broke the same day and keep in mind that I was not even eating anything at the time that it broke. I asked for a supervisor or anyone in management to give me a call today. So I am still waiting to get my phone call returned. At this point I am ready to head to a different dentist. The ortho doctor is amazing and my smile is looking beautiful! I have no issues with the work that the doctor has done what has me irritated and totally put off by this office is that they have no one to make appointments for ortho patients when things like this happens. Get it together SMILE CARE VALLEJO.

I was nervous to go in, but they provided me with answers to any questions or concerns I had. I dont want to even put one star because Im so upset. I would say this is not the dentist you would want to go to if you want to be seen right away and for pain. I sat in the waiting room 45 minutes waiting for them to call me in the back, then sat there for another 45 minutes listening to the doctors and assistants helping other people that came in after me. All I wanted was to see why my tooth was hurting and wanted x-rays. I finally got fed up with waiting and went to the front desk and told them that I was tired of waiting to be seen that I have been there for over an hour and they didnt apologize only offered to schedule another appointment, i told them no and left. Poor service and help.

Extremely satisfied with the courtesy of the employees and the professionalism of the Dr. attending my needs. Not really a fan of dental care, however, it’s a necessity that we can’t do without. Kudos to all at Western Dental!
