I stayed at this hotel for many years when it was a full service Marriott. Wonderful location. Unfortunately, Marriott no longer caters to the needs of business travelers when they switch to the Autograph brand. Rooms do not have desks. Autograph = Marriott brand minus business necessities like a quiet workspace in your room.There is only a small round table that is great for holding a cup of coffee in the morning but very uncomfortable for working on a laptop. No electrical outlets anywhere near the table. One of the managers told me that Marriott wants people to come work in the lobby. That is great for a short group meeting or beers but not workable for video conference calls, private business calls, or just plain quiet for writing. I suppose there are those that like that work environment but I have talked to other guests that seem less than enthusiastic about the arrangements.

I stay at this hotel often for work. The hotel is clean the rooms are well laid out. The salt water pool is always a highlight on my trip, ideally when it’s not filled with children (sorry kids) I don’t hold but the golf course is pretty to look at. There’s lots of shopping within walking distance and it’s super close to LAX which is convenient.

Very meh experience. The carpets kinda smelled. There was a leak in the roof in the lobby. The AC unit lied to you so itd say youd go up or down to a certain temperature but there was a threshold preventing whatever you actually programed. The shower head had a good medium pressure. Not great but not bad either. Plus it did heat up fast and keep a good temperature. Id also give the room a pass too except for the light switches everywhere. Took me like 10 minutes to initially find all the various light switches on different colored power cables. Very non-uniform and a bit hard to spot/use initially until after settling in. Overall it wasnt bad, but wasnt a great experience either. This hotel is very firmly in the meh level.

Autograph it is NOT! I was expecting a more high-end Hotel but this is just a step above Marriott’s Fairfield Inn and definitely below Marriott’s Courtyard. The rooms are dark and there is very little light. The bathroom and shower is nice. The balcony is very nice and their Bar area in the Lobby is extremely nice. The Managers are not friendly with the exception of Jarret who just arrived three weeks ago. And, the Staff is confused on a lot of what should be their regular duties, like giving you the correct key to access the garage and being honest that one of your two rooms is ready and not having you wait until 4:00 pm to check-in. We had a room key issue yesterday and the Manager would not come out to talk to us. Housekeeping is a problem here and one day, we left the room at 6:00 am and returned at 3:30 pm to discover our room unmade—when I called the Manager, they asked if I had called to tell them that I would be out of the room, no, not when I have full service housekeeping included in my price. Parking is $25 a night for self parking. This Hotel, I am sure, is only considered Autograph to be able to charge the high self parking fee—not much else here. There is a lot missing here and the hassle and frustration is not worth it!

Fantastic hotel. Clean, close to many amenities. (Stores, restaurants, shops) A beautiful walking path near by that leads to the beach (about 30 minute walk) clean pool and good gym facilities. For those who love to golf, tennis or pickelball theres a club on site. Beautiful outdoor seating area. Quiet, clean rooms, mini fridge available in rooms. Filtered Water stations avaliable in lobby, gym and pool area to fill up your water bottle. Thats a huge bonus for me since I drink a lot of water. Friendly and welcoming staff.

For my husbands birthday, we decided on a staycation, and boy, did Westdrift deliver! From the moment we arrived, we were transported to what felt like a luxurious Hawaiian resort. The lush landscaping, the serene pool area – it was the perfect escape from the city hustle.Every staff member we encountered was warm and welcoming, but Jackie and Dani truly went above and beyond. They added those special touches that made my husbands birthday feel truly celebrated. Their attention to detail and genuine care made our stay unforgettable.As a Platinum Marriott Bonvoy member, Ive had the pleasure of staying at many wonderful properties. Westdrift, however, has now jumped to the top of my list. Its rare to find a hotel in Los Angeles that offers this level of service, ambiance, and that elusive getaway feeling.We cant wait to return for another slice of paradise soon. Mahalo, Westdrift!

Rooms service and location are all decent but I still have to give this place 1 star because I felt scammed. Got there and instantly was charged $60 ($30x2) for resort fee. I’ve experienced that before but wasn’t told before hand so it was still off putting. There’s no where to park without getting your car towed so the price gouge you on the parking expect to spend $43-$53 per night. They tell you you have a credit for amenities it don’t tell you the right way to use it so we weren’t able to capitalize on that. My 3 year old accidentally ordered a movie while I was sleep that was another $40 they weren’t able to refund even though no one watched it. The customer service reps hands were tied so although they were kind the policies are crap. I ended up spending more at checkout then I paid for the 2 rooms I booked which was crazy. Their marketing strategy is to get you there and then price gouge and Nickle and some you every single chance they get. My recommendation is if there’s another hotel in the area at a similar price go with the other hotel you will literally save $100s especially if you’re staying more than 1 night. This place is exceptional when it comes to siphoning your finances while you sleep and then throwing up there hands and saying there’s nothing I can do. Terrible just terrible

This is not an Autograph type hotel. Maybe they attempted to create an Autograph but the concept has failed. Autograph are high end detailed oriented hotels. The small details matter. My room for example, cords are exposed yet safe but hideous. I needed to call several times to have my card work to enter and exit garage. My remote control did not work neither my vanity mirror. They did fix these but at an Autograph, maybe check prior to a guest arriving. They offered me an amenity which included Wine…I am very appreciative of the offer but I advised them before sending that I did not drink. But hotel food is amazing !! Great concept at other locations but this location misses the mark.

Katrinas performance as the host for our all-access training event was nothing short of exceptional. Her professionalism, charisma, and attention to detail elevated the entire experience for our attendees. From seamless introductions to keeping the energy high throughout, Katrina ensured that every aspect of the event ran smoothly. Her ability to engage the audience and adapt to various topics and speakers was truly impressive. Overall, Katrinas contribution was instrumental in making our training a resounding success. We couldnt have asked for a better host.

The staff let other hotel guests in our room while we were away at an event, and they left their trash in our room. When we went to the front desk, they ensured us that they would be able to pull the key log and find out who created the key that was used to swipe into our room. Conveniently, the lock’s “memory was full” and that day’s data was wiped from their system. The situation was handled terribly by all staff involved. Coincidentally (or not), our friends who were also staying in this hotel for the same event had a similar experience where a hotel guest was given a key to their room and walked in while one of them was in the shower. Avoid this place at all costs - it is not safe.
