They had great inventory and are the only Mazda dealership in San Diego County that works with the Costco Auto Program. Our salesman Eddie was the best - very honest, helpful, responsive, not at all pushy. It was a fantastic experience!!!

Gilbert and Julian made my car buying experience easy and enjoyable. Great service. This was my first time taking my car to service as this dealership. I arrived about 20 minutes earlier than my appointment and they allowed me to drop of my car. The process was super simple. Since I had to get to work, I used their shuttle service and my ride was very friendly. I got a message about an hour after drop of with a cool video showing me what was done to service my CX-50. Lastly, I was picked up on time and conveniently right outside my office. Overall 5 out of 5 :)

I had the best experience with Westcott Mazda! I recently leased a CX-90 and the staff was so kind, patient and very helpful. Josh went above and beyond to help me find a great deal and I never felt pressured. He was very patient and kind. The manager, Edwin, was also very kind and helpful in securing the best deal for me and Adrian was quick and efficient in processing the finances. I recently visited Westcott Mazda to purchase my leased car and I was helped out by Angel. He has helped my family multiple times, we have bought two cars this year with his help. He always makes the process so easy and straightforward. He isn’t pushy whatsoever, gives you space to make a decision you are comfortable with but is also very transparent and provides his expertise when needed in order to ensure his customers sign up for the best deal they can. Sam from finances also explained everything very well and answered all of my questions.If you are looking for a car and want a smooth experience I recommend you going to Westcott Mazda and asking for Angel! I’ve been with Westcott Mazda for almost 6 years now. They’ve had great customer service and it’s always easy working with them. There was only one time when the service department forgot to install the piece that I needed installed and I waited there for 8 hours. Other than that, i would recommend them!

We were shopping for a new car to lease since January. Market had changed since we took out the last lease, we spoke to about 6 different dealers and still couldnt come to a decent payment. My husband was introduced to Marco from a colleague at work. We spoke with Marco, and within 3 days, we had a deal! He’s honest, worked hard to get us the deal we were looking for. My husband told him we didn’t want any surprises or to be offered any extra maintenance packages or anything at all that would affect our payment. He stuck to his word! We signed the lease papers in about 10 minutes! Very very happy to have found him! Definitely will be going back for the next lease! Thank you Marco! It was awesome working with you!

My experience in this Mazda was totally a turnaround, I have had experiences before with other dealers it was totally different, I felt very comfortable to resolve doubts and the time and quality that they have 1 on 1 was above my expectations JULIÁN supported me at all times and SAM was the cherry on top of that milkshake that you enjoy and in the end you still carry that sweet and not bitter flavor. SAM was very helpful and a great asset to working within his team. I definitely recommend looking for them.

I have rarely had this bad of a customer experience! I am on my second Mazda and have always had my cars serviced at the dealership (John Hine was the absolute gold standard for service!). This service department is so unprofessional. I brought my car in for a burning oil smell. It turns out my car had an oil leak that was a known issue with Mazda (they said it wasn’t a recall, but a bulletin so not covered by warranty). They weren’t able to take my car in right away, so I had to wait another week before I could bring it back. I had to call several times to even confirm when I could bring the car in and when they had a loaner available. Even when I brought the car in, there was no appointment for me and he had no idea why I was bringing the car in.I took my car in on April 15 and did not get it back until May 13. They said it would take 7-10 days to fix. Not one time in that 4 weeks did anyone call me with an update. When I tried to call, I was either was put on hold (once for 33 minutes before I hung up!) or sent to a voicemail that no one ever checks (the service manager even had the gall to blame Cox for that!!).Meanwhile, when I finally got my car back, they hadn’t bothered to wash it and there was a half full can of Sprite in the cup holder (not mine)! Imagine caring so little about a customer that you give back a dirty car with trash left in it!When I got home I realized the back liftgate no longer opened and the AC wasn’t blowing cold air so I had to take the car back to get that fixed! Sat in the bare bones waiting room with old couches and a TV blasting sports center while they fixed that. Got home and next time I got in the car, I noticed that the angle of the backup camera is all messed up! I can’t bear the idea of going back there again to have this fixed. Who knows what else they will break!Save yourself the stress and don’t take your car here!

My husband and I are in the process of looking at cars and stumbled on Westcott Mazda after a terrible experience at another dealership.We were quickly greeted by Angel and he made sure to answer all of our questions and made us feel comfortable while showing us the different models. We even took a few to test drive and overall the service was wonderful.We ultimately ended up backing out of our purchase due to a high interest rate. They did everything they could to accommodate us, which I appreciate, but as we aren’t in need of a vehicle, we figured we shouldn’t rush into a deal.I want to thank Angel and Sam specifically for being so patient and doing their best to explain everything to us and walking us through everything. My car radio began intermittently not playing sound at startup a few months back. When it happened, all other sounds (iPod, seat belt chime, etc.) played normally, but FM/AM radio would be silent until I turned the car off and on again.I live in East County and found out I had to drive my 2017 Mazda 3—which I love—back to Westcott Mazda in National City for service because I discovered the third-party extended warranty they sold with my car isnt valid at other Mazda dealerships.It turns out the issue required a software update to fix, which WASNT covered by the extended warranty they sold me. Why my 2017 radio was suddenly failing with the same 2017 software my car came with was never made clear. They also didnt call to inform me of the situation and give me the opportunity to decline the repair before they applied the update, and then wanted to charge me $200.After talking to the service manager, he offered to charge me half, which I agreed to as I had obligations for the day I needed to get to. That goodwill discount is the only reason this isnt a one-star review.I certainly dont blame the service technicians for solving the problem, but I do blame Westcott Mazda for selling an extended warranty that would ONLY be honored at their dealership AND didnt cover the repair of an issue apparently caused by Mazdas own software.

Unfortunately, my experience here ended up very unpleasant. The actual service performed was fine, it was my first experience with service at Westcott after purchasing the vehicle at this location. Oil change, easy. No issues with the car. After having the car serviced, the next day I realized my back of quarters, about 5 dollars total, I keep in the center console for laundry is missing. I’m the only one who uses the vehicle, so clearly the quarters were taken during the service. It’s the only explanation. I called and asked to speak with the service director listed on the invoice. I was informed he is no longer there, and was connected to a sales manager. I explain what happened, he apologizes and says he will look into it. It has been a month now, and I have not received any follow up.Sure- my bad for leaving valuables in my vehicle, however this situation leaves me with a very gross feeling. There was no reason for anyone to be looking around storage spaces such as the center console of my vehicle during the service. Obviously someone was snooping around my car looking for things to steal. Bummer. This leaves me with a very yucky and uncomfortable feeling. I would not recommend this business to anyone and will be taking mine elsewhere.

Westcott Mazda in National City has helped me twice recently, once when I hit a curb wrong and ripped the plastic trim off the bottom of my passenger door, and then again when I got a tire puncture. Both times Mike in Service and Diego in Parts went over and above to help me resolve the issues expediently and affordably. Dealerships don’t always seem to have the best interests of the customer at heart, but rest assured that Mike and Diego at Westcott Mazda really do! Don’t shop around, just head straight to Westcott for a new car or for great service on your vehicle!

Probably the least stressful experience with a dealer service department in a long time. The car was towed there for a blown out tire thanks to AAA. The service staff helped me choose tires that were reasonably priced and with the alignment, it didn’t break the bank. So much so, that I decided to even do an oil change and check up for $80! Crazy, huh? The service fellas were helpful and even offered to drive me home. I will go back there for more stuff to be done to my 2007 Mazda5!

I visited the Westcott office this week and got super lucky to work with Ed. We had a few phone conversations prior so he and I both knew exactly what I wanted. Ed made my visit seamless, efficient, and fun! He referred me over to Sam in finance who was also a pleasure - he was very knowledgeable and made all the right recommendations that fit my personal needs. Between the two I was in and out of Mazda in about 2 hours, which should be some sort of record. I am extremely satisfied with not only my purchase, but with my overall experience too. I would highly recommend working with Ed and/or Sam - I know I will again in the future! Never thought Id be a Mazda girl, but i love my CX-50!

Was not thinking Mazdas when trying to get a new car, but checked them out on a whim. Angel was great at exposing the details of the car and letting us do our thing without being pushy. Checked other cars and came back because the car was awesome (CX-30) and really superior to other cars in the same price range. Checked other dealerships and really went to Westcott because of the service received from Angel. The rest of team made the process pretty easy considering it’s still buying a new car. So happy with my decision. I’d recommend checking them out, and hopefully you get Angel.

Update:We never heard back from the GM or Sales manager about our issue from this dealership. Email went unanswered and no response after leaving a review. Survey was done after waiting to give them a chance.Don’t give them your business if they can’t try to make things right. Won’t recommend this location.Recently got a new CX-50 lease at this location. They would only somewhat match, but not beat, 2 other dealerships where I had solid quotes. We decided to go with Westcott after all and the evening of pickup, Eduardo did not disclose to us that the vehicle came with a cargo package ($110) as optional equipment. You know the net you can buy on Amazon for $20? We didn’t realize it until getting home and reading over the sticker price. The next morning I reached out to Eduardo stating we weren’t told about it and clearly didn’t want it otherwise we would have searched out for it specifically. He basically said tough luck. We clearly let him know during the buying process that we didn’t want any add ons (factory added or dealership added). He knew but never told us. I kindly asked to return it as the cargo net and cargo blocks are still in original packaging. Nothing was ever “installed” as he claimed. Shady practice.I’m still waiting for the GM to get in touch with me. We won’t be back to this dealership.

I just wanted to say what a HORRIBLE experience I had at Westscott Mazda. I am reaching the end of my lease so I came to westscott to discuss what my options were. Julian sat me down and went back and forth with the manager, Adrian. Not only was I told that I was going to have to leave my vehicle for three days because it had to undergo a 160 point inspection but that it was going to cost me $3,000!!! And that did NOT include any parts or services that would have to be fixed If something were to be detected during this inspection. It was NEVER disclosed to me when leasing the vehicle that I would have to pay this RIDICULOUS amount for my car to be inspected regardless if I was planning on keeping it or not. Nor is it mentioned anywhere in the lease agreement. Adrian stated that it was LAW that I pay for this inspection because they were held liable if anything were to happen to the car once I drove off the lot. They were EXTREMELY manipulative and I felt taken advantage of. Adrian was knowingly and willfully violating my lease agreement. Unfortunately, my family and I will never return to Mazda because of this.

Very disappointing experience in their service department. TWO TIMES in a row Ive had money stolen from my car by the service employees, less than 10 dlls between both times, but it is not about the amount, is about the action. When I complained about it, you could tell, per the employees attitude, that this has been happening before, and just to me TWICE! This is ridiculous. I highly recommend everyone to NOT TAKE THEIR CARS THERE! after almost 4 years of going there, I wont be going back. Either all the cameras they have installed there are worthless or there are several people involved in the thefts and are covering each other, because this has been going on for a while and Im not the only one that has reported the thefts. I went here on 1/10/24 for a service to have my drive side mirror motor replaced (under warranty); first the waiting area is freezing cold in a winter month; second, certain items in my car went missing after the service. I immediately informed the dealership about this incident, but I feel like they are not taking my concerns seriously. I hope that whoever tool the items will not do it to others and hopefully will get terminated as that person will tarnish the integrity of Mazda and their dealerships- I have been with many brands and dealerships (Japanese and German) and I have never encountered such thing. I went here because its closer to my work and house, but I guess I made the wrong decision having my car serviced by Westcott.

I know the dealership is very sorry about this incident (as they should be,) and have promised to get to the bottom of this, (as they should, and honestly what I care most about,) but I also feel this needs to serve as a warning to potential buyers. I spent the day car shopping and trying various vehicles at dealerships this weekend. I had scheduled an appt. here the previous day with Tim. As appt time approached, I texted him with a specific ETA. He replied he had stepped away from office and his associate would help me. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted by associate & I was led to a CX 30 to test drive. However, the assoc. said he would not be coming with me. I was reluctant & expressed that, but they assured me it was fine. If I had not driven 5 other similar cars prev to this, that morning, I would not have, but by now, I felt I knew the area and routine, so I spent about 10 min (alone) setting up the mirrors, seats, etc. I looked one more time for the assoc and did not see him (maybe he was around?) so I drove off. I didnt notice anything wrong on the dash, which I had been viewing quite a bit as I set up the car and looked at all knobs and controls, read outs. I got on the nearby freeway, went to the first exit to turn around, turned back around and came back towards the dealership on same freeway. I honestly wanted to be close to the dealership and was deciding whether to pull back in or go down a nearby side street. Suddenly on National City blvd, the car started to slow down and a big red LOW FUEL started flashing. I was like geez, good thing Im right here, Im sure thats the last gallon... NOPE, within seconds, car stopped. I had to get out and push it to the left turn lane. I was shocked. I got hazards on and immediately called Tim. He still wasnt at dealership and said he would alert them, get me help, etc etc. He clearly was distressed/shocked this was happening. I was half a block from the dealership at the 30th and Nat. City Blvd light. I could see people in the Westcott offices from where I was. I called the dealership. No receptionist answered but after many rings, someone (unaware of situation) in service answered. I told them what happened and that I was right there at the light, and needed someone to come help. But as I waited for someone, anyone, to show up, as I stood in the street to signal people to go around, it hit me that if this had happened on the freeway, anywhere on a ramp or god forbid freeway, this would have been ... disastrous. I was so lucky. I called the dealership twice during this event. I texted or called Tim probably every 5 min or so to update him, and to let him know that he should be extremely grateful that this did not happen to me and the car, on the freeway. After 20 minutes I could not believe no one had shown up. No. one. I could have walked to their office, gotten fuel and back by now. The service guy had reached out to Tim as well. So around 20 minutes after the first call to Tim, I walked to the sidewalk to wait, not wanting to abandon the car, but the traffic was whizzing by so fast, I realized the additional danger I had put myself in. Finally about 25-30min from start of incident, Tims assoc. who put me in this car, walked up from behind me - not from the direction of the dealership. He went over, couldnt start car, and I told him I would wait for him on the sidewalk until gas arrived. About 5-10 min later, the man with gas showed up and was filling it. So I told him goodbye, went back to another dealer I really liked and purchased my new car. I hope this story is told to all sales reps to (One) stay with your driver! I did choose to accept the invitation to drive alone in a new vehicle and should have listened to my intuition. (Two) check the car. check the car. check. the. car. How did the assoc miss the low fuel indication in the car too? I hope they make changes so future test drivers are safe.

Customer service on 1/24/2024 was disappointing. I scheduled a 100k service for my Mazda. The video sent late in the day was poor. I texted the service rep requesting status and a copy of an invoice. I did not receive an invoice and since it was late in the day, I had to pick up my car the next day. I may consider taking my vehicles to another Mazda service center.

The cost to replace a key is up to $1000. I bought a car in 2021, and I have needed to replace the keys twice (4 keys total). They fall apart within a couple of weeks and the buttons don’t work. They will not work with you, I have been quoted $500 to replace a key from two months ago that broke. Total joke! Go with another brand.

I’ve been here several times for service and decided to come back to have my car serviced. I took my car in for service and full circle point inspection at 10am but didn’t get my car until 2:22pm. Upon arrival I asked if someone could also inspect a sound my car was making when pumping the gas with the fan on and was told it would be an extra ~180 to just inspect and diagnose the problem. I declined. While waiting for service to complete I wasn’t notified when the car was ready and was never sent a video of the inspection or brought paper work of the results of the car as usual. Upon reviewing the Full Circle Service Report Card I noticed points are checked off as red, yellow, or green and others have no checks. I assumed it is because nothing is wrong and not skipped. The service has never been like this before I hope it gets better. At least they have a good waiting area. If service keeps taking this long they’re going to need waiting beds instead of chairs.

I purchased two new front tires for my Mazda CX 9, the salesman told my wife we were getting the same tire that we had in the rear, when she drove the car home not only did we get a different tire, but both of my front wheels had chips along the edges, they left grease all over the wheels and tires. When I went to wipe off the grease I noticed the paint off my wheels was chipped. Both sides had the exact same markings. I was asked to bring the car back, the sales manager took pictures, but said that there was no way they could’ve done that. They offered to pay for half of the repairs at $225 per wheel. It is completely unacceptable to have to pay for damages that Wescott Mazda caused. I filed a complaint with corporate and I’ve contacted the Better Business Bureau. This is my second Mazda’s both purchased at Wescott Mazda. This is the first and last time I will ever purchased tires there. Save yourself the hassle, buy your tires somewhere else.

Worst place to go to for service. I took my vehicle here August 2022 to address a recall to replace the fuel pump. They gave me a receipt that the fuel pump replacement service was completed. Two months later, I took my car into Hello Mazda for mileage based maintenance. They informed me that the recall order neeeded to be redone as Wescott did not use the correct part for the fuel replacement.In addition, I did not feel like I was respected or listened to. Although I came in for the recall, the service assistant mentioned that my check engine light was on and I explained to him that the light was not on. The car turns on all light indicators when you turn on the car but do not start the ignition. I may not know extensively about car engine issues, but I do not appreciate someone trying to charge me for more services and inspections that are not necessary. I am quite diligent in bringing my maintenance and services and my car is well maintained.Do not service your car here if you want them to perform the service incorrectly and gaslight you into thinking you have other issues when you do not.

I was already set on the car I wanted to buy. This was the 3rd dealership I went to and when I showed up I was greeted by Alberto. Albertos detailed explanation on certain functions of the car and how Mazda is, was amazing to where I thought in my head, I am going to be part of Mazda and buy this car, today. He gave me a tour of the cars interior as well as the Mazda app and helped me out with installation process. I went to other dealerships to ask for prices, and which ones can beat the others price. However, Edwin helped crunch numbers beat the other dealers to get the best price! And it was extremely fast as well, I didnt have to wait around. When I gave the price to another dealership, they said couldnt beat it! John was great with explaining the process on how its going to go down, respected my choice of my loan and I appreciate his patience with me. I asked many questions and he was able to answer them clearly, I liked that the buying process was quick easy and done. When I said no to any of their deals, warranties, he respected it, didnt look back and moved on with the process. Such a delightful experience! I visited this location in December to get my vehicle serviced and I must say it has been the best service I have received! I have visited Mazda locations in Florida and Virginia and the service I have received their was subpar! I initially purchased my vehicle with the addition of maintenance and the 4 years I’ve had my Mazda neither Florida or Virginia wanted to do their due diligence to validate what I already purchased, instead I always had to pay out of pocket! However, when I arrived to this location (it was my first time) I was immediately greeted with immaculate service by Anthony. I was expecting to pay out of pocket regardless of having the maintenance package, however, Anthony went out of his way to look up the information and APPLY what I was already paying for! Well, my experience with this Dealership was so bad. Expensive deal with 2016 CX-5 Touring with multiple issues. I thought this SUV is smooth as I test drive some of it. The suspensions are really bad, and vibration are noticeable with all the mirror vibrates and they keep denying it. And the worst thing is, their service department are not professional, they messed-up my vehicle during my first oil change, tech forgot to screw up back the undercover. I will not recommend these place to any one.

BLUF/tldr: Sales team uses bait and switch tactics at this location, avoid!...I made a deal with Timothy over the phone for a Certified Pre Owned CX-5 (VIN: JM3KFADM9L0863868; Price: $27,400; Mileage: 30k).I commuted an hour to view the car, when I got to the dealership the car was waiting for me. I asked if I could review the paperwork explaining the included CPO warranty. Once I asked to review the contract of the warranty a manager came out and questioned why I need to know, and hesitated to show me anything in writing. I was told by Edwin (sales manager) If I am concerned with the warranty, maybe just buy a new car and if you dont want the warranty, we can take $500 off. All I wanted was the information detailing what was included in the warranty.Finally after 3 hours of being there, I was told I couldnt look at any paperwork on the inspection required for the warranty because the service team was not there, and it would have to wait until the morning. I asked if I could put a deposit on the car since I was ready to buy. I was told by Timothy and Edwin that I have their word that they would not sell it and I could buy it in the morning. I applied for a loan from my bank and was ready for the call to come buy the car.Well, in the morning I am told by PJ (another manager) that they would not be certifying this car because they changed their mind. PJ wouldnt give me a new offer and told me it is now his store policy that they are not certifying this car. Timothy told me PJ would not give him a reason why he changed his mind, which tells me the vehicle must not have passed certification and they are hiding. If I had received an explanation or a discount from a CPO -> no warranty, I wouldve still considered this car. Even the original sales guy was confused and said he didnt understand why the management team was changed their mind.So I was lied to by multiple sales management, then disregarded because PJ changed his store policy. I wasted a large chunk of multiple days, ran my credit, and am left with the sales management giving me the run around.I recommend going to a more reputable Mazda Dealership, after visiting a few, the sales team here is by far the worst.

They did give a good and honest inspection video, however I did receive my car with a bunch more scratches than when I dropped it off. Im not too picky, but for other people who care about their paint, watch out. I understand accidents happen, but theres at least 8 new scratches on my car, especially on my driver side mirror, which I know there was paint on it when I dropped it off. I would only come back here in cases of emergency and distance convenience. Also, on my online appointment made, I asked for the shuttle and that apparently was non-existent so yeah, figures.

I approved all the work showed uo to pick my car all was good untill I took the time to go over the maintenance and repairs done, to discover that they totally missed one of the service ls I requested.Called the person back and let him know and had me come back to complete the work they had charged me for. Alejandro service advisor has a problem verifying warranty claim. Upon arrival I stated I have a National Fidelity Warranty. He Offered me a 10% military discount so he didnt have to actually call and retrieve / process said warranty claim process... I informed him most of my services should be 100% covered. Which they ended up being. After pushing the issue he finally called and got all my services pre-approved like he should have. Basically pulling teeth 😬 today.Service tech. I purchased a new soul red CX5 and had the most horrible experience ever. I was lied to and treated poorly by a salesman and the manager. When looking at the car I inquired about zero percent financing and $1000 off the sticker price and was told I could get both. The story changed when the salesman was drawing up the paperwork. He told me he made a mistake and you couldn’t have both. He has been working there for about 20 years to my knowledge. After that fiasco, I went I had to go into the financial managers office and was told that it was my lucky day and he was offering a year of free oil changes. I stated that I had not heard of anything like that from Mazda. After reviewing the paperwork, I saw that the manager had added a maintenance package without my consent. I told him to remove it. After going back and forth about he said she said and exchanging some choice words, it was removed. These people are liars that can’t be trusted. Do not go there. Do not buy the Soul Red Mazda without researching all the paint chip issues with this color…Beware

Reviewing service department.I scheduled to get my valve cover gasket replaced on May 6, 2022 for my 2014 Mazda 6. I brought in my vehicle because the mazda tech recommended I get my valve cover gasket replaced when I brought it in for an oil change 3 weeks prior. I was quoted a price of $280 for the valve cover gasket replacement. I drop off my vehicle in the morning and was greeted by Alex (service representative). Later in the day, I received a call stating the price was only going to be $180 because the job was faster than the estimated time and that my car was ready for pick up. Upon picking up my vehicle, Alex was not there to explain the work completed. Another service rep helped me and informed me to pay the invoice and hell give me the keys to my vehicle. After getting home, I read the invoice/receipt which stated to come back in 2 weeks to check for leaks. The notes also stated valve cover was leaking, reseal valve cover gasket and cleaned engine area. I scheduled another appointment and dropped off the car 3 weeks later per the invoice notes. My understanding is theyll verify no leaks are present after replacing the valve cover gasket. Alex calls me later in the day and informs me the timing cover gasket needs to be replaced and that itll be $1200. I asked what was the $180 charge for from 3 weeks ago and he tells me that was the diagnostic fee and the valve cover gasket wasnt replaced. I was NEVER informed that a diagnostic fee was going to be charged when I scheduled the service and when picking up my car. Not only was this business dishonest, but they tried to lie and tell me my timing cover was leaking when thats not the case (went to another Mazda service location and they verified with video evidence there was no timing cover leak). They also never performed the service I came in for, which was the valve cover gasket replacement. To me, its the principle, I just want my refund back of service I requested that was not performed.Their solution was to deduct 1 hour (total 6 hrs) of service labor to replace the timing cover gasket, although it doesnt need to be replaced.It seems other customers have bad experiences as well. I would avoid this place at all cost. I preferred John Hine when they were around and was willing to take the drive for better service at the time. Thank goodness Hello Mazda recently opened and ive been taking both of my Mazdas there instead.

Im very disappointed with the service I received here. Very rarely I write bad reviews, but I have to do it right now because I was basely cheated. In the time of pandemic Mazda company offered a free service of oil change and car cleaning for health care workers. It was a great news for me, because I am a Registered Nurse working full-time in my ninth month of pregnancy fighting for the well being of others. I called the dealership and brought my car for service with my own brand new filter. When I came back to pick up my car, I realized NOTHING was done. They just rinsed the outside of my car under water, interior was not touched, my husband checked the oil and it was dark brown. I spoke to the manager, but he said they did the service that was supposed to be done. I was so upset and frustrated I didnt want to continue the conversation. I just have one simple question to these people - When you bring your loved one to the hospital, is this the service you want for them or you expect honesty and care?I understand, I cannot complain too much for the free service. However, if you promise to provide a service, please do it and dont waste the time and trust of others. Another thing I wonder about is how many Frontline workers drive their vehicles with bad, dirty oil thinking its good for another 3000-5000 miles?

Worst experience I have had with a dealership. Not willing to work with the customer. I called multiple times to speak with a manager about my paperwork and they never called back until the 4th time I called. Then a month after I bought my vehicle they still did not pay off my trade in for my previous loan and I had to pay my old car loan in the same week as my new car loan. I have called to speak to a manager twice about the same issue and no one will call me back. Very frustrating to have to be stressed over a mistake that the dealership has made and then they won’t communicate back. Terrible customer service and not worth the headache I would drive up to an hour away to not have to deal with this dealership again.

I got an e-mail from the sales manager via the sales person if I was interested in upgrading my 2017 Mazda CX-5. I called the sales person & we went through some numbers & we were interested & he asked if we could come in. We did & finalized the deal which was approved by the sales manager & just has to wait for finance. Mind you were even paying for the car cash so we figured itll be a quick paperwork. We were told there were 2 people ahead of us. Hours go by & were still waiting. After 5 hours of waiting I was cold, hungry & tired. The sales person comes over so frustrated & embarrassed to approach us because the sales manager who approved the deal is getting countermanded by the general manager. If this was the case why wait for 5 hours to tell us? I felt bad for the sales person because he was the one who had to give us the news. We left & the next day we got a text from the sales person apologizing for not making the deal. I waited for any of the managers to reach out & explain or say sorry but nothing. I usually dont write negative reviews nor complain to corporate office or want anything bad to happen to anybody but the experience was beyond me. I worked in an essential industry but we always get drilled that number one is customer service. The fact that we werent even interested in upgrading since our car was really taken cared of & has only 13000 miles on it after 3 years, if not for that e-mail. So this review is to maybe for the dealership to get a better training on better customer service. If theres in house fighting on whomever is higher than somebody then dont do it at the expense of the customer. Have a better communication & lastly have the decency to face the customer & not give the unpleasant job to a minion. Obviously for one to become a manager these people had the attributes to become one. Thank you.

I got a phone call offering me the Managers Special for an oil change and tire rotation. I was given an appointment the next day at 4:30. When I arrived at my appointment, the person who was behind the desk told me that they do not make appointments after 3:30. Ever. I showed her the print-out of my email, with the appointment date and time (4:30) on it. She immediately went to her team. They stayed and took care of my car. I was coming in to see if my tires are covered under warranty. After making a few phone calls with Mazda and the manufacturer of the tire, an appointment was made to inspect it at Wescott Mazda. The dealership has to talk to the tire manufacturer to verify if it is covered. To emphasize, the appointment was set up by Mazda, not me.When I arrived I explained the situation. They were a little confused because they usually dont get this, which is understandable, I imagine this doesnt happen often. However, the whole process of trying to figure out what to do was not a good experience since 3 of the reps sided against me, in a very accusation manner. One of the reps literally accused me of cutting my tire.I was just there because I needed a dealer to talk to the tire manufacturer to see if it is covered under warranty as instructed from Mazda and the tire manufacturer, no more no less. Finally, another rep, Mario, was reasonable enough to make the phone call to the tire manufacturer and it took about 10 minutes. Thats all it has to be done.Dont get me wrong, I love Mazda and my car, but the customer service needs work at this particular dealership. I had better experiences at other dealerships.

Where to begin? I wont even discuss our buying experience - it should have been a red flag but we found a great car at a great price so we chalked it up to COVID and some miscommunication. At the time of purchase (June2020) we paid the dealership to handle our registration... because who wants to deal with the DMV?!After about 8-10 weeks of owning the car we still had not received our updated registration as our temporary registration (provided by the dealership) was about to run out. We contacted on a number of occasions regarding the issue and were promised we would receive returned calls which never happened. We were able to get another temporary registration from the dealership in September after they explained there was some hold up with the DMV. That registration has now expired meaning I am driving a vehicle without valid registration. We have contacted the dealership more than a dozen times asking for some resolution to this issue. We continue to get the run around, they refuse to provide us the contact information for their GM and once again, have yet to receive a returned call from anyone at the dealership. I have emailed my request to either have some type of documentation of the issue that I could provide to an officer when I eventually get pulled over OR that they return the money we paid them so that we can pay the registration ourselves. They have ignored our requests and continue to tell us they are looking into our case with the DMV.I honestly hope that this is not an experience anyone else has to go through. I rarely write a review but the customer service and lack of communication is so appalling and unacceptable at this point I felt others needed to be forewarned before handing over thousands of dollars to this location. I would give them zero stars if possible but that is not an option.* UPDATE: They just informed me that this is happening to multiple people so be aware that if you purchase from this dealership you may actually end up driving your car without a valid registration. Mohamed (sorry if I have that spelling wrong) was great.He explained everything I asked of him and was very knowledgeable. I also really liked that he was not too pushy like many of the other dealerships I visited. He was also very patient as I requested multiple test drives just to make sure I made the right choice.The finance team also worked hard to meet my payment goals.I love my new CX-5 and would recommend this dealership to anyone!

Waited 25 Min yesterday to make an appointment for service. Never got an answer. Texted their chat person and was told the responder couldn’t help! Called again and was put on hold. Emailed the service manager twice. Crickets! But I found out that my pre-paid service plan is good at any Mazda dealer. Won’t go back to Westcott.

These guys are a breath of fresh air in a suffocating industry! I have never felt such a calm, relaxed atmosphere with zero pressure than I have with Westcott Mazda! I went in for repair and oil change, and they gave me 5 star treatment from start to finish with no up selling or hidden costs. Also, the complimentary ride to work and back to the dealership was above and beyond thanks to the driver who couldn’t have been a better conversationalist! I ran over something on the freeway the other day and I was afraid maybe it might have caused damaged underneath my car. I called Westcott the next day and Oscar told me to come right in and theyll look at it. Anthony looked over my car, said everything looked good. They washed my car and I was on my way. So I texted originally with a female who told me to come in and meet with her. I never met her, which I will think was a little weird. I ended up being helped by a salesman named Mr. Gilbert who was really nice and conversational. I know my credit is not the best but I did think that I would get a car that a little less miles but you guess you gotta get what you can when you are rebuilding your credit so am thankful that i was approved and that their financial person made everything so easy. I think Honda Civics are known to be good cars so I was happy to approved for one. It ended u being a year younger than the car I drove in, which was also ok. It did have more cosmetic damage than mine but of course that would have had to happen when one of the previous drivers drove it. There were some nics and the weather stripping all the windows was completely eaten up, there was none at all around the windshield but like i said, an older with a few previous owns so I guess maybe thats to be expected? I do wish one of the owners had not replaced the music system with a CD player but I digress, if those have the worse problems that really wouldnt be too bad.As I took the test drive, which lasted about 5 seconds because the car was on E, I really didnt get to see much of how the car operated except it started well, ran well and everything functioned well. We get back to her dealership and unbenounced to me, I was set me up with a loaner car, and I didnt really know why but I asked Mr. Gilbert if they could please fix why the TPMS light was on and he said they would look into that and make sure everything was running well and clean the car so I said ok and they kept the car for 5 days. I called to see about a time on picking up the car the day I was due to pick it up and the service person told me they had sent it to the dealer to deal with an airbag recall and that they had dealt with the TPMS light at the service department before they had sent it.I get to the dealership, pick up the car. By the time I complete the 10 minute drive home the TPMS light is back on. The top the numbers that indicate your speed are going off and on so that sometimes it looks like your on the freeway driving 70 and it says 10, the lights for the gas are all off and on top, so you cant always take how much gas you have. Then the key fob that locks the car and arms the alarm only works when it wants to. I try the air conditioning and only get cool air, so is the coolant system out too?The day I pick up the car I call when I get off work and leave a message with the service department that there are some problems with the car and to see if anyone can call me back. When no one does I call again during service hours and they say that Oscar deals with used cars and will not be there till tomorrow. So I call to speak with Oscar the next day and when I am transferred to him I tell him the same issues I detailed in the last paragraph and he says that he was testing the fob so that was strange. He told me to bring the car in but he could not guarantee me loaner car. I explained to him that I work 3 jobs so I cant be without car so he said to first let him look up what was covered under my 5 year warranty and he would call me back.I financed the car on the 1st of November, picked it up the 5th of November (Tuesday), spoke with Oscar the 7th of November. It is now November 24th. The key fob now does not work at all so I have to leave me car unlocked and unprotected wherever I go because there is no way to lock the two back doors, the gas lights are off more often than on, the tops of speed numbers are still flickering off and on, no a/c not sure about the heat, the TPMS light is still on and i have yet to receive a call back. If i am able to get some assistance I will update this review but right now l dont have a lot of hope for that so Im a little disappointed by this dealership because I thought from hearing the name in the past it would be more consistent, had a better reputation and wouldnt treat its customers like Ive been treated

This is what I posted on Yelp : Came in to buy a new mazda 6... worked with Mohammad.... very pleasant to work with... gave me every detail he could about the 2 vehicles I was looking at to help me decide between the models. I have been car shopping the last few days and other dealership salesmen were kinda pushy where I did not encounter that here and I appreciated that. When it came to the paperwork it was such a smooth and easy process.. probably the best experience Ive had yet for purchasing a car. Taymur in financing was awesome as well... loved talking story with him... both of these guys made it such a great/easy experience. So far I highly recommend this dealership and the 2 guys named above.

If I could, Id give them zero stars.1. when I purchased the vehicle there were tons of issues just getting my registration2. service is bad. Ive owned two vehicles and both times, they take 2.5 hours just for an oil change even though I had an appointment. Went to another Mazda dealer and In/out in under 40min on a weekend with no appointment. by the way, they recently went through a service department refresh but seems the same as the old folks

Marco and the whole Wescott Mazda team were really supportive in helping us purchase our vehicle. We initially wanted to finance a Mazda 3 i sport and they were able to negotiate a better deal for us for an i touring (one of the more equipped versions). The sales team was friendly and seemed to understand our parameters instead of pushing the sale as some dealerships still do. I even ended up talking with them for a while, it was very chill. I recommend this dealership.
