We recently remodeled our pool with West Coast Pool Service. David and his crew were absolutely awesome 👌! We really love our pools new look. West Coast Pool was the best choice. David is the most affordable around. Other companies were over charging for unwanted items and overhead cost. West Coast Pool was fast with their response time, the staff was also very friendly and most of all we were pleased 😀 with the overall experience 😀.Thank you so much for our new pool West Coast Pool. Great experience with WestCoast Pool Service. They were recommended by a neighbor, and I requested a quote for several upgrades and replacements I thought I needed. Instead of selling me on all of them, David very honestly told me that I didnt need it all, actually saving me money on what I was prepared to spend. They performed a salt water transition, installing a salt cell and transformer. Their tech did a great job, answered all my questions, and David still answers my questions via text or phone without any hesitation. Highly recommend.

We needed a remodel on our 20 year old swimming pool and spa. We had 14 different pool companies come out to give us a quote, and we felt the most comfortable with David and West Coast Pool! He is very knowledgeable about pools. He will offer suggestions, but he is not pushy and doesnt try to up sell you on unnecessary replacements. Hes honest, his price is very reasonable, and we would 100% do business with West Coast Pools again. His team is timely and respectful. There is a long waiting list, but trust me, THEY ARE WORTH THE WAIT!!!

What an amazing experience from start to finish! David and his crew were AMAZING! When we purchased our home we knew the pool had leaks and needed a lot of work. Years later we were finally ready to start the pool remodel. I called numerous companies and all promised the world. When I spoke to David he was very clear on what needed to be done, the timeline and realistic expectations. Communication is extremely important to me and David and his crew communicated with me throughout the entire process. The pictures really tell the story but what West Coast Pools did for us was create and masterpiece which will bring years and years of new memories for us and our babies. We hired West Coast Pool Service to remodel our pool. The scope of work included demo, resurfacing with mini pebble (glass beads and abalone added), new waterline tile, precast new coping, led color light, umbrella holes, and adding a baja shelf with two bubblers and bench; both with tile line accents. We run into some issues along the way but David had his crew redo some the work to make things right. He stands behind his work. We are very happy with the end result. Our whole family enjoyed the newly remodeled pool all Summer and we look forward to many more fun Pool seasons to come. Thank you David!

David, in the future you should try taking responsibility for your poor workmanship. That way hard working people like ourselves wouldn’t have had to go to the contractors board and your bond company to get or issues resolved.You promised a solid pool and to trust you and all we received were excuses and poor quality.Funny how an other contractor was able to do the precast as we originally wanted and all you gave us was excuses. You only showed for a payment or my husband requested you show up to go over the issues we had. That took months. It has been a long 2+ years waiting and waiting for you just to give excuses.I changed my review due to the lack of professionalism and not wanting to take responsibility. I know that we are not the only unhappy customers. For the future I hope you can take responsibility and not just drag your hard working customers along as you did to us after being paid in full. $40,000 is a lot to pay and be so disappointed.

We have hired them on two separate occasions. First, we had our tile cleaned and they did a fantastic job. Recently, we had our spillway repaired. Not many places were willing to do a small job, but the owner was able to squeeze us in and get it done. It looks much better and the color matches.We have a had a great experience with this company.Hopefully I will not need any other repairs soon, but when I do, I will call them first--you should too!

We cant say enough good things about West Coast Pool Service. They responded with a quote quickly after we supplied a couple pictures. Because of their professional response and the good reviews we read, we hired them to install complete new pool equipment (filter, heater and pump), replacing our 37 year old outdated and broken equipment. They also dug and installed a complete new 135ft gas line. Davids crew were quick, efficient and respectful of plants and fencing when digging and installing the new gas line. Everything for the new equipment was installed in 1 day and by the time they left, it was all up and running. They also cleaned up everything, filling in the trench and removing all of the old equipment. The following day, David stopped by and explained how the new equipment worked and how to run the heater. He suggested we make a video which was a huge help and we have watched it several times and now we know how it all works. Based on how great they were, we plan to have them return and replace our deteriorating pool decking in the near future. We would definitely recommend West Coast Pools for any future pool service and/or repair.

We recently purchased our home which was built in the late 1960s and from the looks of it the pool, spa, decking, and plumbing were crica 1960s. Dave and West Coast Pools rebuilt entire pool and relocated plumbing and equipment to other side of house (per our request). Our pool needed a LOT of work, so his team did basically everything short of building an entire new pool. Dave gave great advice on pool configuration as well as provided useful guidance on finishing touches (deco-tile, plaster color, lighting, coping, baja, etc).We love the addition of smart phone controls, baja (and umbrella), colored pool lighting, and deco-tile accents on pool steps and baja lip as suggested by Dave.Dave was also excellent at providing cost estimates, updates on any unexpected issues, and money saving suggestions.The outcome is beautiful and much easier to maintain and use. When our pump started making noise we shopped around and Dave gave us the best price on what we were looking for. He got the pump installed in a timely manner and it works great.Fast forward 6 months i noticed that the pump wasnt on one morning. I contacted him and he filed a claim with the manufacturer and they came out and took care of it. Very happy with everything so far.Our pool is a bit dated and came with the house when my wife and i bought it. When the time comes to do a full reno we will absolutely give Dave a call.So two years later and we did the pool and we called Dave! It was a process but he did a great job at guiding us through it. Hes crew did a great job and his foreman Oswaldo was very patient with our constant barrage of questions. Dave was able to send his crew out for rock and pool slide painting and sealing on extremely short notice, even though he had major remodeling work booked months in advance. They also replaced mastic around the pool. They were on time, professional, and did excellent work. The price was very reasonable, and Dave was honest about all the work required, such as draining the pool to do the best job. This business really knows customer service, and does quality work.

West Coast Pool Service came in and installed my new Pool Filter. This company was honest and upfront from the beginning. I had to hire West Coast because the warranty company I was in a contract with sent a company that was dishonest and ineffective. Dave and West Coast Pools led me in the right direction with replacing my filter because it was close to 20 years old at this point. West Coast Pools came out and were able to install my new filter within 1 hour which was exceptionally quick and effective. I have now used them to install my variable speed pump and my new filter and will continue to use them for all my future big pool needs.

If youre even considering hiring David, just do it, I promise you wont regret it! We were looking to hire someone to add an in ground hot tub to our existing in ground pool. I met with and got quotes from 5 companies (including David with West Coast Pools). Every single one tried to up sell me and told me the project couldnt be done without demoing and replacing all our backyard concrete, which was going to cost a good amount of money. David listened to what we wanted to do and proposed cost effective options the other companies hadnt even mentioned.The project itself went incredibly smoothly, partly due to the great communication David and his team have. There were some minimal hiccups along the way (due to old electric at the house) but David addressed them and fixed them without any issues.Our pool project went so great we also had him retrofit our BBQ island. He had recently redone his own backyard and was able to recommend stuff based on his own experiences.David is just a very stand up guy with a great product/service, to put it simply. What he does, he does it so well that he doesnt have to up sell or make you feel like you HAVE to get the fancy equipment, lights, grill, etc. He never questioned the decisions we made and offered advice when we asked. First off we had so many preexisting issues with our pool BEFORE working with David. The plaster was cracking, coping was damaged and it was a constant fight with algae. Once we started working with him it was open and honest communication, the price quoted in the contract is what we payed, there was no haggling. They worked with is in how to repair our pool and even upgrade a lot of our features. Everyone worked hard and they were even able to make some adjustments during the project without any difficulties. I contact them because my pool vacuum was not working properly and my pool guy couldn’t found the reason. I had two team come here. First one take two weeks for him to give me a quote and the vacuum was still not working. David came on the third week, check things out, gave me some recommendations and ask me to put something seal the pipe. Just like that, it worked until now!Then I ask him to help me reseal my pool side. From the first visit, David and his crew were beyond helpful and very easy to work with. My pool needed close to 10k worth of work including coping repair, mastic replacement, complete stone replacement, tile cleaning, lighting replacement and some stucco work. David arrived at my house in a timely manner and provided me a fair and accurate estimate of the project cost as well as an estimated start date. What I especially like about David is that he doesnt try to up-sell you on services that you dont need, instead, he focuses solely on what your needs are based on the scope of the project and within the confines of your budget. Davids team came out and did a great job and completed the project within the specified time frame. There was actually one area of the job I wasnt completely happy with but David had a member of his team come out and complete the job to my standards. Also, throughout the entire project David was there to answer any questions that I had to ensure I was happy with the way the project was coming along. All in all, Im very happy with the way the project came out and I would definitely do business with West Coast Pools again for any work I need done in the future. Let me start out by saying I was hesitant at first because of all the five star reviews. I said to myself, can this really be true, or how many of these reviews are from friends.I was in desperate need of an acid wash for my pool. That had been sitting empty for about 5 weeks now, because of another “5 star review” company that left me hanging. I understand for whatever reason, pool company’s are busier then they have been in the last 20 years. Go figure... with that being said, you still shouldn’t take on jobs you can’t perform.Well I took a chance, and called WestCoast Pools, who has a ton of five star reviews. I spoke with David whom I explained my situation to. I explained to David how desperate I was to have my pool back up, and running.I could tell by the compassion in David’s voice, when he expressed his disappointment of hearing how another pool company had over promised, and under delivered. Then David proceeded to explain to me how he is booking jobs 4 weeks out, and didn’t think he could help me. Further into our conversation, David said “I’m not going to promise you anything” but let me see if I can help you.Well the very next day David text me, and said he would have someone out to take care of my pool!The next morning I had a gentleman ringing my doorbell. He introduced himself, and said he was from WestCoast Pools, and was here to fix my pool (acid wash). He did a fantastic job, and my pool has never looked better. I can’t remember the gentleman’s name who worked on my pool, but he was very respectful to me, my pool, and my property. This is the best pool service I have ever had the pleasure of using. We just moved into our house and called Dave to come out and do a quick evaluation of our pool. He did and didnt charge us for it as we set up another day to come out and clean the filter. He came out today and discussed with us at length that there was more issues with the equipment. My variable speed pump was programmed incorrectly and using too much electricity. I was hoping a pool service company could just give me an approximate idea as to what speeds and times it should be running without a service call.I called several companies and all they wanted to do was charge a $150 service call.Im on social security so any time I can save money helps.Then I contacted West Coast Pools and David (the owner) actually got my phone number and scheduled a convenient time to call me and he walked me through the process and money saving tips.This is unheard of in todays business world!This is the type of customer service that proves the quality of a business.I will be using West Coast Pools for any and all pool service I need.Thank you David.Steve Jenson

We just had West Coast Pool install a new pump. It was a 2013 and didnt make it through the added stress of the wind storms of 2022. David returned my called right away after so many pool maintenance companies simply didnt return my call or couldnt squeeze us in. He had the pump we need and got it installed fast so our pool didnt turn into a swamp.

He is always respectful, patient and so tolerant of our dog Max who cant wait til his favorite buddy comes each Wednesday. Matt was here this morning and I told him how the boys were excited to swim this weekend. He stayed extra long and cleaned the filter so we could heat the pool easier. I have called around to many of the local pool service companies in my area and no one has been more responsive, professional and helpful. Pool season is coming and I needed a pool pump ASAP. My pool was turning green. Dealing with my home warranty was not the issue, it was the guys they sent out to inspect it. Everyone was either to busy to return calls or kept making excuses which is why I decided to take the cash out and call around. WC Pool service texted me back in a timely manner and called to confirm my needs and service. Not only did he understand my issues and frustration, he was able to set up an install 3 days earlier than the original scheduled date. I need to change out an old intelliflo SVRS pump and David and his team arrive promptly and provided a fair pricing on a new a new intelliflo VSF. There is no BS from David and his team just straight forward service and install. Overall the pump has been running for 5 days and no leaks or issue. Installation was clean and neat. They were on time, did the job well, made sure they paid attention to every detail during the job! They replaced a damaged and leaking pool skimmer after performing a leak test. David is one of the most knowledgeable, competent and sincere person you could find in the Spa/Pool service business.He has installed Home-Automation on my Spa in Irvine a few months ago which I am very pleased with . He also has done troubleshooting a few times on my 9 year old Pentair spa equipments and resolved the problem. Last visit 2 days ago Apr 14,2020 despite having full day appts( 12 total) he got me in and after spending 30 mins, he discovered and fixed a short circuit in my control panel without even charging me.I am very pleased with David’s service and would recommend him to anyone.

I contracted to have the calcium ring removed from my pool and the tile sealed. I tried cleaning the tile myself and it seemed impossible. West Coast Pools was able to have somebody out at my house in a couple days with proper equipment who made our tiles look new again. Great job.
