I called to make an appointment for my sick cat and the person asked for my last name, then asked if Ive been there before, and after I said no she said I am sorry were not accepting new patients because we only have one doctor, there are other pet hospitals around, you can check with them. This is a negative experience for me right upfront. I only called this place because of their good reviews online, but now I highly doubt those reviews are legitimate or not. Why are you not capable of putting a notice online that you are not accepting new patients to prevent people like me from wasting their valuable time calling you and save them from getting unnecessary frustrations. You suck!

Everyone very respectful and caring, Dr. Grewal explained in details and answered all my questions and concerns I had for my cat. Dr G is the Vets Vet! Went above and beyond to try to save my cat but even the good doctor could not save her! He was so caring and compassionate even though I was so distraught over the situation! Dr. G is one of those special people that pours his whole heart into his trade. I am honored and humbled 🙂 to have met such an amazing person. Thank you Dr. G and thank you for all you have done and also the condolences card. The world needs more people like you!

Love this vet. Dr Grewal is kind, caring and compassionate, everything you want in a vet. I live in Alameda but I drive to South San Francisco because my fur babies deserve the best. His prices are reasonable but most importantly hes cares.

Dr. Grewal is the best vet weve ever seen. He is kind and respectful to us and our cat. He presents all the alternatives for treatment and makes your choice work. He is a great Vet and a great person. He and his staff, especially Melissa, have been excellent in the treatment of our diabetic cat who is in his last days. My wife and I love the Dr.

Dr. Grewal and staff are my “go to” vet. They are always available for questions and quick to respond if they’re busy. They provide quality, compassionate care and don’t gouge you if your pet’s health is in jeopardy. My “boy” went through major surgery yesterday and I was confident he was going to come through because Dr. Grewal was the surgeon. The reviewers complaining about the front desk do not realize; it’s what’s behind the door that counts. One person is rather rude and abrupt but I look past her and wait until I speak to the doctor about my pet’s needs. He won’t steer you wrong.

This doctor is amazing and our dog had a healthy checkup this last appointment. He is diabetic and needs blood work usually. However he doesnt seem to mind this pet hospital so he is obviously well taken care of under the doctors and staff supervision.

Strict covid protocol safety precautions in place. Great knowledgable and friendly vetinarian. Has helped my pets on numerous occasions. Super spot on getting my seasoned cat healthy again. Number one choice since the passing of Dr. Griffin at spruce pet hospital. As for today, this is the place for sure no doubt. Also unfortunately had to put my beloved dog down. Very proffessional, gave us time to grieve, and cared for our Ruby and arranged her ashes for us. Very passionate and caring in handling of our dog. Asked for permisssion to say prayer over her when putting her down. One of the hardest things ive ever had to do. The man here does care about your animal. Ive seen it with my own eyes. 💯

I received a double lung transplant at UCSF and part of the recovery was that we had to stay close to the hospital for 6 wks in a motel.We have a dog at home 60 + miles away and had nobody we could ask to watch him. A kennel was out of the question. So our motel needed to be pet friendly so we had Charlie brought to the motel to stay with us. He was having some health issues which is another reason I wanted him near us. As I got better, he was getting worse.I called the best vet hospital I could find. At first they said that they weren’t taking any new clients but I explained my situation and that I could not get to our regular vet.They were nice enough to allow me to bring Charlie in.Dr. Grewal turned out to be the BEST Dr. I have ever met. He is honest, caring and his ethics of treatment is beyond anything I have ever experienced before. He really cares for your pet and not your wallet.We had to make the sad decision that the best thing for Charlie was to euthinize him. His condition was grim and no treatment would of helped him resume a normal life. I need to mention that Charlie was 14 y.o. and developed tumors.The Dr. Is gentle, sensitive and explained the whole process to us. I wish I could be a client of his for any of my future pet(s).The wife and I really appreciate all he did for us and I’m sure most of his clients would agree that if I could give him10+ stars I would.Thank you Dr. Grewal and your office staff.From Charlie’s Dad & Mom

This doctor saved my cats life. He had been poisoned and the emergency vets said he would not make it without an IV. As a last resort I called Westborough and they addmited JoJo snd started an IV...the Dr updated me several times on his recovery. God bless you Dr Grewahl you saved JoJos life.

We know Dr.Grewal over 14 years. Begin from taking my first Maltese Puff then Marmaduke & Max to see him. Even since we continue the relationship until now. The best & kind veterinarian. His team and staffs are amazing. They love & care about animals. When it came to the hardest time they did make sure me and my family were ok. Everyday 7 days a week day and night. Dr Grewal and staff are holding it together, putting his patients (animals) as priority one. His office is following strict Covid guidelines. The main objective, the staff, the animals and saftey of his clientele, and himself. The office has it in place so all are safe. As well, ALWAYS, you and your pet are in good hands.

Dr. Grewal is family to me and my italian greyhounds Rocco and Frankie. On Thursday, after 16 years together, I had to say goodbye to Rocco. Dr. Grewal brought me immense comfort as together we lead Rocco over the rainbow bridge. Like Rocco, Dr. Grewal is a beautiful soul and I consider myself blessed to have westborough pet hospital caring for my four legged family.

This place is good for standard vaccinations and checkups. For anything more serious I would get a second opinion ASAP. (My pet was misdiagnosed and given the incorrect medicine for three weeks until I went to see a specialist.)
