Great work done, new vents, ducts, and condenser with pump. I retained my old heater because of budget. I wish I saw the new vent covers before installation because I wasnt in love with them, there’s less adjustability to the direction of the air and would have like to have kept my old ones. Overall, my wife and I are happy with our hvac system and the time it took to install.

I had a positive experience with the customer service team, which was accommodating to my schedule. The service technician gave advance notice before the appointment and was respectful of my home. He also made helpful adjustments to my furnace to reduce noise without sacrificing performance. Technician didn’t use the usual filter as installed in previous maintenance visits. Instead, he installed a large, blue plastic sponge-like filter, explaining he didn’t have the correct size filter on his truck BUT this one is washable and can be reused. Overall service was good.

This is the second time Ive used West Coast Heating and Cooling. I am happy with their service. They do make their recommendations, but at the end of the day, they have respected my final decision and have repaired my older system both times.Alexey S. was very kind, respectful and a pleasure to work with. Took advantage of preventive heater checkup and complete system evaluation preformed by West Coast Heating, Air Conditioning and Solar. The inspection team was very professional and completed the task in a very effective manner. However, I have still not received the inspection report. I have requested the report at least a half dozen times, email and phone calls and still have not received it. I also had a duct inspection and estimate and I was able to get this estimate, but no inspection report.

I had the pleasure to meet Chary. He was excellent and thorough in his work. My AC was not working and he quickly figured the problem and fixed it. He also did additional checks to make sure whole system is working fine. Additionally, he showed me how to switch from gas to electrical using thermostat which was amazing. I learnt something new. I am sure thankful to him for fixing the issue.

Outstanding company. Excellent service and pricing. I needed to replace my furnace and add a new heat pump. I obtained 5 quotes and, by far, West Coast was the lowest and most responsive. The service and follow up has been top notch. Much less than competitors and I doubt any other company could match the quality of installation and service. Big shout out to Mike, who was my salesperson and handled all follow up issues, and Alexey, who recently diagnosed a minor issue and corrected it on the spot. This firm is highly rated and I am a very satisfied customer.

They really did a great job installing the new heat pump water heater. I first called them to make an appointment for an estimate, and then Mike came to my home within a few days. He explained all the details to me and also made sure my house was qualified for the water heater installation. He provided a detailed breakdown of the estimate. I became very well-informed about the next steps. On the installation day, Serge and his team arrived at my house in the morning. They first surveyed the surroundings to determine the best way to arrange the panel breaker, cables, and pipeline. They completed the project on the same day and also explained how the machine works, how to use the app to monitor it, etc. Serge was very patient in answering all of my questions. The team also cleaned up the space. Overall, I had a very good experience with the company. Highly recommended.

I just had an AO Smith 80 gal heat pump water heater installed by West Coast Heating. Sergey and Iilya were the technicians that arrived at my house for the installation (right on time). They worked straight for about 8 hours without a break and got the old water heater removed and the new one installed. There was a lot of plumbing and electrical work needed for this system. They did an excellent job with quality work, top notch in every way. Everything works great and when they left they cleaned up and vacuumed all the mess so I had a clean garage again. This company has never let me down. All their people are the best I have seen (I have their solar, storage battery, heater/AC as well). Highly recommended and especially Sergey and Iilva!

I noticed that my A/C wasn’t functioning properly and so I reached out to West Coast and set up an appointment. Max and Alexy came out a few days later.They were both extremely professional, polite, worn shoe covers and were super respectful to my home and property. They did a detailed deep dive into the system and were able to determine that a factory installed part of the system was malfunctioning. They made the part replacement and then spent quite a bit of time to make sure that the system was up and functioning properly.Max and Alexy are great representatives of West Coast. I was very impressed with my whole experience with West Coast HVACS. They have a crew of knowledgeable people that sized up my need to replace a very old furnace and get me up and running with a new heating system. Watching the installation was similar to a choreographed dance. All three of the men worked in harmony with one another to achieve the final creation. Our old unit has stopped working for quite sometime now. When purchasing our home, we were not made aware that our heating/cooling system was over 30 years old. We had West Coast come out and give us a quote to compare to another. We decided to move forward with West Coast after speaking with their knowledgeable technician Mark. We scheduled an appointment for another tech to come and provide us testing with our current system. Alexey S. The estimator, Tony, was super thorough and helpful when we had questions. The price was very very competitive. All the installation crews were polite, clean, and efficient. We just had an issue today with the solar not producing (just a bad circuit breaker, nothing serious) and Alexey S. came out and took care of the issue quickly and was super helpful. We installed a new AC unit and upgraded the rest of our ancient HVAC system almost 3 years ago, and theyve taken good care of us ever since.Initially we got one quote that was cheaper, but failed to notice the furnace platform really needed to be replaced (oof, thanks for pointing that out WC!) Another proposal was beyond overkill and 50-100% more expensive than what we ended up paying. West Coast came in with the most sensible plan at a reasonable price, easily the best value long term.Their customer service is excellent, everyone Ive met or spoken with is friendly and professional. If somethings not right, they fix it. And they occasionally follow up with solid offers, like available rebates for other appliances or a free system evaluation - Dont be like me, remember to change your furnace filter every 6 months!

We had received a bill from our electric company for $1600 and we were in shock and then immediately called this company to see if anything was wrong with our solar and right way we were told our inverter had not been working since January 2023. One whole year without an inverter working! In July, West Coast replaced my old central heater with a new Trane HVAC system and also installed a small solar system. I had three HVAC bids and over 7 solar companies give bids. I usually trust Costco but even with their 15% rebate program, the quote for the similar Lennox system from their heavy advertising local company was more than 50% higher than West Coast!! Ouch. I have a 1950s home that never had A/C. Mike J. gave a complete quote, easy to read & understand with no high pressure sales or financing pitch. The gals in the office, Gabby, Carly are a pleasure to deal with, very knowledgable about the process (permitting, scheduling, even system operation!). The installation crew did a good job, I was a little worried about my beautiful plaster ceilings (they had to cut new vent holes for the new ducts) but everything went smoothly and in two days I had a new system w/Nest thermostat installed. Our family purchased solar from West Coast, after comparing 15 other companies. They were not the cheapest, but the best overall quote and value for the service, support and equipment they quoted (Panasonic large-format panels). We were able to submit our application for solar prior to the Apri 15, 2023 deadline to net NEM 2.0 (instead of the not great version 3.0). They submitted all the paperwork to the city and SDGE on time, and then installed everything as planned. The team was always on time, completed the job cleanly, professionally, and very well.All interactions with their office staff was also positive, responsive, fast and knowledgeable. This company was recommended by a friend of mine, and Im glad that he was right in recommending them.

West Coast replaced my 17 year old heating/cooling system and installed new ducting. They also moved my furnace to the attic which made everything much quieter. Their staff is very professional and extremely quick. Kept my house clean in the process. They also installed solar a few months later which pretty much reduced my electric bill down to nothing. Couldn’t be happier with their work. Highly recommended company!

My intro to West Coast went very well. I requested a system tuneup for our Trane AC. West Coasts technician, Sean, was prompt, courteous, clean. He took his time, looked at the complete system in the attic and and the unit outside. He used specialize remote sensors, which he could access from his mobile. Very cool. He even took the time to wash the heat exchange fins. I know this is routine, but I hope if and when something does break that Ill have the same kind of service.

We originally got a quote for a complete system replacement somewhere else, but wanted a second one and are glad we got it from West Coast. My father-in-law who is a commercial HVAC installer in another state insisted we get a Trane system and I found this company a bit by luck because of that. We were able to get an appt. with Alex and he came out right away. He was very professional and checked all the boxes for what we needed. The quote came back quite a bit lower and we got a much better Trane system.The four person crew came out for a two day install and showed up on time and was extremely professional. They talked us through some of the changes/upgrades we wanted and made a number of suggestions along the way to make further improvements (not trying to upsell us - all covered under the original quote). Everything was done in two days and the air was blasting by the next afternoon.After going through everything they did, it was very apparent that they take great pride in their work. There were a lot of nice little things they did that I wasnt expecting and they really went the extra mile to get us everything we wanted and more. Our system is working great and I have absolutely no worries about any cut corners or poor workmanship.I would highly recommend West Coast Heating, Air Conditioning and Solar. Everyone there was fantastic to work with and we are now customers for life.
