Dr. Weiss and his staff are great. It took months and 3 previous doctors until I finally found Dr.Weiss. He was able to operate on my wrist and fix my torn ligaments. Upon the removal of my cast and 8 pins his staff was extremely cautious and gentle and just took great care of me. The best doctor I’ve ever had for anything!

Dr Weiss seems to have a lot of patients, waiting room was full when I got there, but despite the crowded waiting room it emptied fairly quickly, which was surprising because during my visit he was very casual and not rushed, addressing all issues in depth and providing clear explanations while being conversational at the same time.Very pleasant visit! The doctor is obviously very knowledgeable, staff is friendly, office is clean and centrally located in Sonoma. I very much enjoyed my visit!

Dr Weiss had his work cut out for him with surgery on both my shoulders but now they are pain free and feeling great. We are now working on a knee. He explains everything clearly and offers all the options. He also has a great sense of humor. I will be going to him for any orthopedic problems without hesitation.

Dr Weiss is OUTSTANDING! I have had too many surgeons and have to see so many different doctors for my laundry list of issues yet I enjoyed his company, vast knowledge and incredibly kind and helpful staff. He’s exceptionally good at everything he does and I am looking forward to working with him again! I can’t stress it enough, it’s hard to find good doctors these days and he’s not just good he’s remarkable.

I saw Dr. Weiss today for a finger issue. He was professional and very knowledgeable. His care was amazing. He treated me right away and did a little procedure then and completely fixed the problem. I would say quite unbelievable and remarkable. He is fabulous and his office staff were great too.

Office demeanor is well-informed, responsive, deliberative. I appreciated seeing tests (X-ray/ultrasound) results in real time, with explanations of what I was seeing. There is no chit chat but they do answer any questions asked. Very positive experience.One suggestion, initial patient questionnaire should be a form filled out online and not require printing out with handwritten scribbles.

The office staff is very friendly and attenative Dr Weiss is very good at what he does I went in for a trigger finger he explained on a whiteboard what was going on and then xrayed my hand to make sure that was the only issue. Did a great job fixed my thumb in office I was in and out in 45 min. I live two hours away and Dr Weiss is well worth the travel.

I recently shattered the humerus bone/shoulder joint in my left arm. Dr Weiss made room in his schedule, organized further testing and again met to determine a plan of action, all within five days. His office schedules appointments so one doesn’t have to wait for more than a minute or two. He dictates file notes in his patients presence to assure accuracy and understanding. I’m VERY impressed.

I recently had surgery with DR Weiss at Sonoma Specialty Hospital of Sonoma for a Distal Bicep Tendon Rupture.The whole experience from start to finish was AWESOME!The entire staff was warm, friendly, and very professional.If I ever had to have another surgery this is the place that I would want to go.I would highly recommend DR. Weiss and his team.I had a follow up appointment with D.R Wiess yesterday and he and his team never disappoint. I told them that I had fell down 3 days before the said appointment. They were extremely thorough when examining my injury. They did an X-ray and Ultrasound in order to make sure that everything was okay.D.R Weiss is the real deal. His head nurse J Lo was the one whom performed the X-ray and Ultrasound. She is always super sweet, pleasing on the eyes, very professional, and genuinely cares about her patients. Always a pleasant experience.

From the front desk receptionist to the medical assistant to Dr. Weiss, they were all very friendly. Dr. Weiss explained very well my issues, drew pictures and had models to understand exactly what he was trying to explain to me. My interaction with Dr. Weiss was brief, but adequate for an initial examination. The Dr. was responsive to my condition by scheduling immediate surgery. My only suggestion would be for either Dr. Weiss himself or staff to provide the patient with. more of an overview of what to expect during the healing process. This patient was provided with no such overview. While all healing stages. remain subject to the individual, there are at least a few details common to all--- i.e. paralysis of wrist, immobile fingers, type and duration of pain, prognosis for regaining usage. Just a bit of information.

Great bedside manner. Informative Turns out my issue was rheumatoid not just osteoarthritis so surgery not necessarily helpful but doc did not know this at the time. My medical conditions are complex & rare so prior to deciding on surgery some of my other docs would need to be consulted.

I went to visit Dr. Weiss after having been to another surgeon who attempted to treat my trigger fingers with cortisone shots. The shots were quite painful and didnt resolve the problem at all. That treatment was followed by physical therapy which also didnt work. When I saw Dr. Weis he offered to perform a procedure right there in his office which resolved the problem of my fingers in one visit. I am very thankful to have made the connection with him and his office!

Dr. Weiss, his staff and the staff at Sonoma Valley Hospial are terrific. Dr. Weiss took care of my left hand last July and he did such a good job that I had my right hand worked on this last January. The procedure was a bit different so I am healing differently. However, Dr. and his staff have been wonderful to me through it all. Also, Sonoma Valley Hospitals physical therapy department has been very beneficial and essential in my healing process as well.
