Great atmosphere and wonderful staff! I brought my soon to be 2 year old in today for his first dentist appointment and it was so great! The receptionist and intake staff were so pleasant and communicated very well as we waited on the dentist. They were so patient and caring. The dentist sang to my son while she checked his teeth and made him so comfortable. There was plenty to do while we waited and they made us all feel so welcomed and comfortable. Highly recommend!

My husband and I took in our 2 week old in December of 2023, the reason for our visit was due to a tongue tie . We were so grateful that Dr. Chris was very thorough with what a tongue tie was and how the procedure worked. Our daughter used to choke while drinking her milk before her tongue tie was taken care of. So thankful that we found your team, my daughter has not had any problems with eating since the procedure. Thank you Dr. Chris!

My oldest daughter has been coming here many years and they do so well with her. They take the time to explain what theyre doing as they go, and any issues they see. They really are teaching her how to care for her teeth. Now our youngest just went for her 1st appointment and it went so well! Plus, my kids loved all the toys, games, movies, etc while they waited.As a parent, I appreciate their patience with the kids and with answering questions. They made sure I understood what was going on with my kids teeth and why they were making certain recommendations. The appointment does not feel rushed. I highly recommend Weideman!

Weve got an appointment scheduled, but leaving a review now for the amazing customer service given by Lori/Laurie. She was caring, accommodating, transparent about costs, and set expectations for our upcoming visit. She also answered the phone on the first ring which surprised me a bit as most places the phone will ring a while before someone answers. She was very familiar with services and providers at the dental practice. Above all she was simply kind and genuine - enough so that I felt compelled to leave a review based on our conversation. This place is awesome! My son started there when he was 2.5 and just turned 4. He is rambunctious and in his why? phase. They took their time, made him comfortable, answered every single why question and never once seemed bothered or annoyed. It genuinely feels like every single employee is working there because they love it not just for a paycheck. I highly recommend!

All of the staff is amazing but we work a lot with Dr. Chris. Weideman is one of the best pediatric dental groups out there. Today Lupita cleaned the kids teeth and she was great and checked in with the kids to make sure they were comfortable. They are all so gentle and kind with the kids. We’re about a 40 min drive away but it’s so worth it!

This is the best place to take your kids for any dental work. I’ve moved from Citrus Heights to Folsom and was using a dentistry in Folsom just come right back. Everyone is super helpful and friendly. Today we saw Dr. Chris and Taylor who helped with my 4 years old thru a procedure. They were very patient and thorough in explaining everything. Taylor was so sweet to my daughter who has a brain injury because it’s not always easy having her at the dentist so thank you. I highly recommend this place.

This is such a great place for kids. We absolutely adore Stephanie as our dental assistant. She is the best and made my son laugh through his entire procedure. She was so fantastic, we requested her for future appointments. We have never had a bad experience here. Its so peaceful and calming and they have always taken great care of us.

Every visit is wonderful! They always take time to explain findings, discuss possible solutions, and never make you feel bad. Parents are under enough pressure, and dental anxiety can heighten that. They do all they can to make their patients, and their parents, comfortable! I have 2 kids who currently see Dr. Chris, and my 3rd will start there soon as well! The office staff are always kind and accommodating, the dental assistants keep the kids smiling and happy, and have such a perfect flow with the dentists that make the procedures seemless. I cant say enough good things about this place. Sincerely, an adult with dental anxiety that didnt want the same for her kids!

I am so glad Dr. Michael Weideman was courageous enough and compassionate to be the first dentist to serve special needs children. We had an incredible experience with our toddlers dental procedure under anesthesia. Despite our initial anxiety, Dr. Chris and his team (including Myla and Tyler) were remarkably understanding and supportive. Dr. Chris attentively listened to all of our concerns and devised an excellent treatment plan that reassured us and ensured our sons safety.On the day of the procedure, their gentle and compassionate approach facilitated a smooth process, aided by the expertise of the anesthesiologist, Dr. Seinden. This is going to be the go to dentist for my daughter moving forward. Absolutely fantastic job. Exceeded my expectations with how detail oriented they are. Not to mention there is multiple areas of indoor play, & individual movie screens for each station so kids will really associate the dentist with going to an entertainment center. My grandson needed stitches removed from his mouth but was too scared and upset to get it done at the oral surgeon’s office. He is a regular patient at Weideman’s Pediatric Dentistry and so I brought him there in hopes of getting help. Just the atmosphere of the office is calming with many fun distractions for kids. Dr Chris and Myla saw him with no appointment. They knew how to keep him calm. With skill and patience Dr Chris got the stitches out! My grandson was amazed to see them on a piece of gauze. The orthodontist D Amanda Chen has no respect for the clients time. As the Provider its her responsibility for how the office is run. My son, who has ASD and Anxiety was at their office yesterday for over 1hr and 45 mins with 7+people inside his mouth, even when He told him He had a headache I gave him Motrin during the visit(which they also knew) and still he was passed from person to person with multiple delays and just disrespect. . In prior encounters we have also had these experiences and asked for one person, but she is out on maternity leave. The office is managed like a money making farm instead of a medical office. I do not recommend the Orthodontist Dr Amanda Chen.

#2 Had our anesthesia consult today and I just have to say, this whole office is amazing! Ashley is fabulous and my son Philip loves her. She is the best with him and plays with him when she can. He has to give her a hug when he leaves! Even on her break, they both ran to each other! My mind is at ease with my son finding them, not so nervous momma now.#1 Our first visit was great, Philip got through his whole cleaning for the first time and actually wanted to go back! Dr. Chris, is the best. That is why we continue to come to this office. My Grandson had his 6 month cleaning and sealants at his appointment yesterday. The young lady who did the xrays, cleaning and sealants was awesome, She was patient, calm and kind. Once she started on my Grandson with sealants it appeared we would have a smooth procedure and the young man who was there to assist her was also very good. It was not till they were almost done when there seemed to be a change in the staff. The young man helping was asked to get up and was replaced by a young women to continue helping with the last sealant, that was not a good choice. The procedure then took a turn for the worse. I work in a dental office and I have to say whoever this last young lady was to help the main dental assistant should not be working with small children. She was cold and kept putting the high volume suction down his throat and the main attistant had to keep pulling on her to stop. As I will repeat this young woman should not be working on small children because she is a liability to your office. Concerned Grandma and office manager of a dental office.

We have found our dentist! This office is the place to bring your little one if you have been on the hunt for a good office.Everyone here is extremely nice, warm and welcoming. They made us feel like family right away. Dr. Chris explained everything with care and was very attentive to our needs. This is an amazing Dental office, the staff are so nice, the environment is very aesthetically pleasing and it makes going to the dentist so much fun. We love Weideman pediatric dentistry! All 3 of my kids have been coming here since we moved to the area 8 years ago! All the staff are amazing!! It starts at the front office with the friendliest, happiest, and welcoming receptionist (Megan). We’ve never had a hygienist that my kids didn’t love! And all the dentists are amazing! My kids love going to the dentist! My oldest is 14 and he has unfortunately had several cavities. To this day, he has no idea that it’s a shot that numbs his mouth. Everyone is extremely patient and goes above and beyond to make the kids feel comfortable and the visit fun! Yes, I just said dentist and fun in the same sentence! If you need a pediatric dentist, look no further! Weideman is the real deal!!! And I’m so happy we found them!!!!

I was a patient at Weideman when I was a kid, so I was happy to see that they’re still around. I wasn’t sure who else to call when my 10 month old lost her balance and jammed one of her top teeth back up into her gum. The visit, which includes X-rays, went as smoothly as it could with an infant. Everyone was so friendly and efficient. We’ll definitely be back for her next dental check-up!

I first brought my 4yo daughter here and she immediately fell in love not only was the office set up with Disney movies a mini playground and a very nice aquarium.The staff is AMAZING they made us both very comfortable and welcomed. From the ladies at the front desk to the ladies at the check out were all a delight.Now lets talk about the dentists and thier assistants. My daughter had Xrays, and a cleaning where a cavity was found. Dr Jeff and Lupita did a wonderful job explaining to myself and more importantly explained to my daughter (in little kids words) each step he was doing performing, the instruments used and why BEFORE he did anything. They made sure we both understood what was going on which completely relaxed us both. Best Dental experience I have had ever had as an adult and for a kid. Well becoming back forever. Highly recommend this place. Ive told everyone I know about this place. 10/10.

Wonderful, inclusive dental practice for ALL children. They have the most caring staff. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with a smile. Not only was I greeted but my son too! They have options of seeing the doctor in a private room or in the multi-chair area. We chose the private suite for our special needs child who has always feared the dentist. This is the first time and first place my son has not cried at the dentists office. Everyone was so patient, gentle and loving. They made my son feel so comfortable. The doctor also gave me plenty of options for future planning and I felt heard and felt like a collaborative member of my child’s care. I recommend this practice to everyone, especially children who may be a bit fearful of dentist offices.

My first time taking my daughter here and the staff was amazing. My daughter is autistic so it was hard for me to find a dentist that specializes in working with special needs children so when I read on there website and spoke to the receptionist Meagan who was very helpful over the phone, she explained to me the Dentist do work with special needs and pretty much answered all of my questions which I greatly appreciated. The day of my appointment from the receptionist who check me in to the Dental Assistant Lupida who was so patience with my daughter, we had a private room she gave her toys to play with and was so amazing with mg daughter thank you so much to Dr.Chris who actually care about his patients and gave me options for my daughters to choose from and answered all of my questions I greatly appreciate all of our services. Eventhough, it’s 30 minutes away from my house it’s well worth it. I found my Dental Home for my daughter all because they all had amazing services, all nice, all of the employees acknowledge you and said hello and I’m so glad that my daughter found a Dental Home.Thank you for all of your services and especially thank you for specializing in special needs for children. My oldest daughter is autistic and my youngest is ADHD, they are always treated with kindness, patience and inclusiveness. As a parent, they always properly explain everything thoroughly. I can’t say enough great things about this dentist/orthodontics office! I started taking my daughter to this dentist office when she was two (now 13), for a broken front tooth. We have always had a great experience. Everyone of the staff members have been so kind and made my kids feel at ease. Unfortunately, we moved out of the area (Grass Valley), but due to the fact that my daughter needed an orthodontics treatment plan, I continued our plan with Weideman’s orthodontics group. We have been more than happy with the orthodontics team and I wouldn’t take my kids anywhere else! The drive is worth it for our family:)

I am so happy that I found them online and switched my five year old and 18 month old over to Weideman. From start to finish they made the entire new patient process extremely easy and they have been amazing with communication. My kids walked in for their first appointment and they were both so excited immediately once they walked in! The office is so welcoming and such a happy place for kids. Love this place. My kid was comfortable his whole appointment for a broken primary molar. Got an early morning emergency appointment no problem. First time with Novocain they explained it all to him in kid friendly terms. I was watching the interactions with other kids & listening to all the other hygienists and dentists. They were playful, informative, reassuring, took time to explain to kids what to expect with treatments they were getting. Everyone always seems at ease, and we’ve been very satisfied with the care. Clean, friendly, punctual, kids are distracted. Great place. Hoping they see adults. ;)

This is an excellent place to take your child for a dental visit. My 3 year old son enjoyed playing with the toys and he felt comfortable to do a quick examination of his teeth. I have a 7 year old with Down syndrome who has oral sensory processing issues, and a painfully shy typically developing 5 year old who has everyday fear of dentists. And they LOVE Weideman and look forward to going back! This team is exceptional! From end to end they have thought of everything in the experience from the perspective of their kid patients. They talk to the kids like humans. They explain what they are doing and know exactly how to help kids get comfortable with the setting and the people and the tools. They designed a space that is joyful and fun to explore, entirely unthreatening. And they are pros, on top of it. The staff here is incredible. I actually wish there was a place like this when I was a kid.Dr. Andrea is amazing. We have five kids, and we’ve been coming to Weideman Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics since 1999, when our firstborn was two years old and saw Dr Cindy Weideman. Our youngest three came in for their half-yearly check up and x-rays today — it was so great to have them all in the same room, especially since our fourth child has Down syndrome and sometimes has a difficult time at the dentist office. Today went smoothly without any issues, which is due in large part to the amazing staff. It’s clear that they love working with kids, and they are very compassionate and patient towards kids with special needs. I feel listened to and supported as a parent by everyone at Weideman Pediatric Dentistry. Taking my children to the dentist was stressful and difficult before we started coming here. Even my youngest now says she wants to go back to the “ocean doctor” because she loves the little ocean themed play area in the waiting room. Yes! Yes! Yes!What an office and what a great staff!My 3 year old daughter needed two cavities be filled and I was so nervous for her. During our first visit the girls made it so much fun for her that she was excited about her x-ray taken and cleaning done. The office is designed beautifully for children, there are so many fun distractions that help to take the mind off what really is being done. When we came in for the fillings I was prepared for worst but again the team just blew me away with their amazing skills of working with kids. Assistants Sara, Natali and Myla were so sweet and knowledgeable. My daughter felt comfortable with them and didnt even need me. Dr. Andrea was so kind and gentle,my daughter didnt need nitrous, no anesthetic just her gentle touch)). I was impressed how smoothly the whole visit went. Based off my own experience with the dentist as I child, I never expected my kid to be excited for her dentist appointments but she always is! The staff has been friendly, accommodating, and understanding every step of the way. They let my child play with the tools during our first visit which instantly made her more comfortable. They talk her through what they are doing during the appointment and always slow down and reassure her if she starts to get scared or if something hurts. We faced extraordinary pressure to put the kids under anesthesia (not local, knocked out) to do the work. We took our 5 year old son to Weideman Pediatric for a second opinion to attempt a more in depth treatment, rather than pursuing General Anesthesia, which was recommended by our other Dentist. We had a wonderful experience at Weideman Pediatric dentistry. Our 6-year old with special needs, immediately warmed up to the place by getting busy with the ocean themed play structure in the waiting area. Having gotten his wiggles out, the nurses were great with him in getting him to cooperate for the dental X-rays. Stepping into the exam area, they had comfortable beds as opposed to the intimidating dentist chair. The doctor and nurses consistently let him play with the mirrors or the cleaning brushes before putting it in his mouth. This made him cooperate very well. They had chocolate flavoured toothpaste! And marshmallow flavoured fluoride! They had even more play items he could get busy with in the exam area when the adults were doing boring chit chat. The doctors advised us to help brush his teeth lying down - advice we’d never heard before. The idea was it helps with less wiggling and normalises the eventual visit to the dentist! Overall a wonderful experience. So thankful for our school nurse who recommended Weideman.

Our experiences have just gotten better and better. I have loved watching them build their relationship with my kid every visit. Last time, the hygienist my son remembered from his previous appointment came off her break early to work with him. Today, I was touched by how observant and thoughtful his new hygienist was. Between that and his exam with doctor, we read one of his current favorite books, a DC Super Friends story. My sons first time seeing any dentist and I have to say I was very impressed from the beginning to the end. It was very easy to schedule an appointment for my son who was a new patient and upon arrival I was immediately drawn in by the beautiful decor and friendly waiting area for kids! We had a follow up appointment today where they did a root canal and one of the techs was a bit more on the serious side where it seemed she was a bit annoyed with our decision to wait on the nitrous oxide, we wanted to attempt the procedure without it and let them know that if he needs it then yes will will definitely use that. Long story short once the tech started to show our son the different tools that will be used he became a bit nervous and at that time we decided to go ahead with the laughing gas. He did an amazing job and did not fidget at all during the process. I did appreciate that we were in a private room and were able to watch the procedure happen and were able to be close to our son. The doctor was very good and he was comfortable with her and the assistants. We recieved post procedure instructions and my son was given some fun goodies for doing so well.I truly did not think that the office could be as good as people were saying but they proved me wrong. I am happy we picked Weidman pediatric dentist as our sons dental office and Dr. Andrea as his dentist. I appreciated the overall quality and professionalism from the front desk, assistants and doctor! We would recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a childrens dentist! We had an AMAZING visit today at Weideman! After years of not being able to get x-rays done on my daughter with special needs they were able to get it done on the first try! We were facing having to go under anesthesia in a hospital setting (which is why her dentist sent her to Weideman), but not now! While the dentist and treatment team are amazing (the reason they got 2 stars and not zero), the office and billing staff were very miss leading. After about a year of going they no longer were covered by DELTA dental (my insurance, which we have double coverage for our kids). They told me Delta changed the way they pay us, its silly I am sorry. They are going to send you a check and then you can pay us when you get it. My problem was each time my bill was bigger than the checks I got. I went back and forth for 2 years each time trying to understand why things were costing hundreds of dollars (sometimes ROUTINE things like cleanings/check up). FINALY someone on their staff said, well you are out of network so that is why there is a difference. I have now gone elsewhere and while our kids miss the dentist and assistants, I do not miss the stress this caused each time trying to figure out why we were paying so much out of pocket. That should have been disclosed correctly, and even when calling about my bill several times no one ever said we were now out of network. Very disappointed in this experience from a customer service standpoint.

I have always loved Weideman’s Pediatric Dentistry but our last visit was by far phenomenal! I unfortunately don’t recall the Dental Hygienist who assisted my boys but she was wonderful!! Both my children have autism and dentist trips with them can be nerve wracking, but the hygienist was able to provide a great plan for both my boys for their visit, she was knowledgeable and even helped me with my youngest just like a family member would when things got a little stressful. Dr. Rich was also absolutely amazing, he was extremely thorough with both my kids, he was patient and provided great tips to help with teeth issues at home. These guys are the best. They know exactly how to work with kids of all ages, and the best part is they actually care! Their admin staff is incredible too! My daughter has been going to them since she was 3. She was one of those screamer babies too, and they just did great to help calm her and minimize the trauma of a stranger looking in her mouth. We had a special case, with an ankylosed front tooth. The orthodontist and dentists at Weideman, were exceptional (after Lexi left, she was not ok). We were guided and supported in getting surgery at UCSF to repair a bad situation. After surgery, the orthodontics team was excellent in aligning the teeth for future implants. The new retainer has a perfectly matched (color and size) tooth attached. We are extremely happy with the care, support and professionalism at Weideman.

We have been going here for a few years and they have been great but my son was recently diagnosed with a rare genetic diagnosis. This diagnosis does affect dental health and dental visits . The doctors and staff made sure to all know what is involved so their could treat my son. Luckily they were very sensitive to his pain or the probability he might have extra discomfort . We had a great first visit at Weideman this week. We have twin 1.5 year olds that love to explore, or rather run in opposite directions away from us. They were super patient with us as we were constantly off chasing down one of the girls throughout the appointment. One twin wasnt a fan of the exam, until the fluoride treatment was put on her teeth, but Dr. Lee was gentle and patient with her explaining everything he was doing and letting her play with the different tools he used.

The Weideman Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics office caters to children and have a child’s psychology down to a science. The dental staff—from the dental assistants to the hygienists and of course the dentists—all have an impeccable way of speaking to the young patients about dental health and care. Best of all in the eyes of the children, the staff here give their young patients stickers and prizes from the prize box when they are good. All the staff are friendly, knowledgeable about the dental health of my child, and provide excellent care. I took my 5 year old daughter in for a second opinion because her previous dentist wanted to put a silver cap on one of her molars and I was just not comfortable with it. We are so grateful to be established with this dental practice. Our two year old face planted and chipped his front tooth today. We called Weideman and they had us text them a picture immediately and then we were seen in the office in less than an hour. The staff were wonderful. Everyone was masked and I saw staff wiping down exam chairs after they had been used so I was confident that things were as safe as they could be as far as covid. I don’t know how it’s possible for this place to have five star reviews, they delete the bad comments to make sure they don’t take over the page. For new and old customers, make sure to check your insurance coverage with them before any service!! Even if you have been going to them for years.We have been taking our two children here for many years and have loved the in-office experience!However, we will be taking our children to another dentist because unfortunately they are no longer “in network” for our insurance (Delta Dental).I am rating them a 3/5 not for this change, which seems to be out of their control, but for how they handled this change, specifically how they billed us for the “difference” between what insurance pays and what they want for payment.Some time last year my dental plan Delta, decided they were no longer in their preferred network. So with no one telling us of this change, we went about with our normal appointment (cleaning, xrays, etc..), and come to find out many months later that they want to bill us for the amount the insurance did not pay.My wife called months ago to clarify why this is happening and that its not appropriate to charge above what insurance has covered. She was told not to worry about it and to ignore the bill. Now, some more months later, I receive another bill for the same visit.Because of this review (now edited because the issue is resolved), they contacted her again to assure her not to worry about the bill they sent to us. Personally, I think this is a bad business practice to continue to send these bills to the client even though you are supposedly “working with the insurance company to resolve YOUR ISSUE”. Also, they encouraged my wife to contact the insurance company herself to possibly expedite the dentist offices payment! It is not our job to fight insurance companies for you to get your money! Again, this shouldn’t be the worry of the parents and you should have left us out of it!Needless to say, we will be taking our kids elsewhere for insurance and business practice reasons.

We LOVE Weideman Pediatric Dentistry! My daughter is 14 and she has been going here since she was 2! They are awesome with kids, especially those with special needs! It is crazy convenient that they also have Orthodontics in the same office! My daughter had her braces for 3 years and just got them off 2 days ago! She already had her insurance alloted cleanings but since they took the braces off, Weidemans gave her another thorough cleaning at no cost! My daughter sees Dr. Sue and he is amazing!! He sees hundreds of kids every year but he always remembers her and asks about her sports and other activities that she is in! The RDAs are also amazing and remember... we will be waiting for treatment and multiple RDAS will come and greet my daughter and ask her if she has been wearing her bands ( for braces, that was my daughters Achilles heel! ) They remember each childs quirks and bad habits and address them without being the parent! It has been so effective for my daughter! She hates to disappoint them!Huge praise for RDAs Mercedes, Karen and Josha ( Im pretty sure I slaughtered the spelling on her name, sorry ) Dr Jeff Sue and Dr. Tommy who my daughter sees when Dr. Jeff isnt available. The receptionist staff is also amazing! Always polite and up-beat. Always willing to do what they can to assist you. My newly 2 year old fell and broke his front tooth. They got him in, having not been a preexisting patient, so fast. The staff was fun, and sang, and played, and distracted, and help make a potential scary visit easy. After his mouth healed for a few weeks we came back to fill in the chipped tooth. Again, same unbelievable treatment! His tooth is fixed and you cant tell anything happened. I love how they have so many extra hands to help, hug, hold still, help calm, sing and distract. We had 3 to 5 people all working seamlessly to make it a better experience for the patient, parents, and each other. Normally I would call out a specific employee that went above and beyond, but that is impossible because it was EVERY single staff member we had the pleasure of working with. These people love kids, and love what they are doing.

This pediatric dentistry is just AMAZING!!! My daughter has special needs. She is 9 years old. ALTA California recommended this dentistry. I didnt get my hopes to high at first, just because we have had bad experiences in the past, with other dentistries.Our first appointment was amazing. The staff is very welcoming. The waiting area is very clean. I was juggling with my daughter, 18month son, a tablet, 1st time paperwork and backpack. When the dentist assistant called us in. It was so fast we were in the waiting room for about 5mins. I was expecting a longer wait time like all the other places weve been too. She noticed I was juggling, so she just grab my daughters hand and took her straight to the dentist tables. She explained to my daughter the areas she was allowed to play in and showed her the table where she would be laying on and equipment. She basically gave her an overview of everything. By the time I got to back with my son. My little girl was playing in the 2nd kids play area. Yes! There is a play area where they get seen. It was so cool! She was allowed to play to relax until she had to lay on the table. In the section she was placed in there was a toy area and window bench. So my son was busy away playing. While I was just finishing the paperwork without being overwhelmed. The assistant called my little girl to do her Xrays. I thought I would have to go with her. Since she has had many problems with sitting still and behaviors. The assistant actual told me its okay, she will be fine to handle it. So she whisked her away. Came back minutes later and congratulated my daughter for taking all her Xrays with out a hitch. I actually got teary eyed, because this was the first time she was able to get all her Xrays without a tantrum. Mind you Im still doing paperwork, the assistant started on her teeth cleaning. Dentist came in assessed her, the dentist was so patient with my girl. Explained everything he was doing, aswell as the assistant so my girl could be as comfortable and happy as possible. She did have a hard time with the dentist was there fo just a moment. However, they hot her right back on the table and calmed her down. When it was all done. The assistant took me back to the secretaries at which point my kids booked to the the main kids play area. I was so flustered for a second. Cuz how do I go set up my next appointment and my kids with out supervision in the play area. Well like I said a second only. Because the assistant said quickly, no worries you can go make the appointment, I will watch the kids. Made the appointment for next visit went to my kids thanked the assistant for helping me. We left.I cannot tell you how I loved my experienced. I was amazed and I felt welcomed my kids felt welcomed. It was the best office visit of all time. JK! Cuz we went to our second appointment today. Let me tell you it was more amazing today than the first time. Im just in aww at the dedication all the staff have with the children and their families. My son had a dental accident that knocked his teeth backwards. The dentist “chris” assured us it is a common injury that resolves itself. He recommended a wash with swab and to look for signs of an absess. We booked another appointment a month later to check up on the healing progress. I got the appt time wrong and ended up coming during lunch hour. The receptionist and technician were flexible and were able to take him early. No signs of abcess and my son has no more pain. The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is fun with cool surf board patient tables and individual tv’s for kids to watch disney movies. My son enjoys dentist trips!

This place is a dream dentist office.I searched heavily for a great dentist for my daughter (2 years old). I had noticed some markings on her front teeth and they were growing in uneven. I originally went to a dentist that was recommended to me in Chico. He told me she would have to have 7 crowns and it would have to be done ASAP to save the teeth. I was shocked... I didnt know her teeth had gotten this bad. I was so ashamed and sad that I let this happen to my child. I dont give her juice or sugary treats, so I was astounded she had such a bad problem. I was raised in a family with doctors so I naturally sought out a second opinion (in Reno) then a third opinion (Sacramento). The 2 other doctors told me she would have to have her four front teeth extracted and metal crowns put on the back top 2 teeth. I was just not happy with the way any 3 doctors I went to treated the situation. This is my child, she is special to me and not just another patient/paycheck.I had a friend from The Cameron heights area highly recommended Weidmen Pediatrics. I called and spoke with the office to make an appointment. Right away I was impressed with the staff over the phone. The day of my daughters first appointment we saw Dr. Chris Lee. I LOVE him, he is so great with children. His patience and compassion is amazing. After he assessed her situation, he said he thinks there is a possibility of saving the front teeth and just doing some fillings in the back. He then answered many of my questions and educated me on why this happens to many babies/toddlers.That day I scheduled her surgery.The day of her surgery with Dr. Jeff Sue I was apprehensive that they were going to be able to save her teeth. I was nervous because my little girl was going to be put under Anesthesia. I kept picturing afterwards an empty smile.Dr. Sue walked out and informed me he was able to save all four front teeth with crowns! I instantly cried and hugged him. He is an amazing Doctor and the best Ive ever seen. I wish he saw Adult patients lol!My daughter is so important to me, I am so happy I found this place. Its truly different than any other pediatric dentist around. Not just around the Sacramento area but anywhere. Everything has gone so smoothly here, my daughter enjoys the dentist. We were ready to walk out because we didnt want to pay the extra patient portion of $427. I understand if you want to change which insurance you accept, but you should let us know before we mask up in 104 degree heat. I’m very happy with their service. My daughter has been going there for 3 years. She is 4 years old and gets very anxious when she goes but they are very patient with her. The theme of the office is so cool that I wish that I could go there myself!

Pediatric dentistry is excellent. However ortodontia and wait times are awful. This occurred pre covid and continues now. Today we arrived on time waited 10 to 15 min to get in. Assistant removed bands. Niw waiting 40 minutes. Why have an appointment. I feel there is little value of our time.
