Loved the place when I stopped by for the first time but second time, it did not go well. The fillet smelled bad and food was cold. The seats were bad and did not have cushions. We were upset that we did not finish food, paid bill and walked out. I doubt we will be coming back but try other location next time.

Our first time eating here, and unfortunately not a great experience. Had to ask staff several times about parts of our order, request drinks several times before they showed up. Staff seemed annoyed any time we asked for anything. When our food arrived, the food looked messy and strewn about the plates.To top it off, after inquiring at least four times about missing pancakes on an order, the pancakes came with poor presentation and with hairs on the plate. The staff seemed ill-equipped or poor trained to handle the level of patrons, which was not very much.

Steak seasoned perfectly I did not even have to use A1 sauce. shrimp scampi was also flavorful. Diet soda cup was never empty for longer then 2 mins. Promp serves banana cream pie was also good ending to a great meal.

The food and service were excellent. Both my husband and I loved going there, but the ac wasnt working and we were seated close to the kitchen. Had always passed this restaurant when going to class and decided to try out the food with my mom. Sadly, despite the food coming out fast; the staff was very cold. I tried asking about the pies they had but none of the waitresses stayed long enough to hear me ask.We felt unwelcomed and rushed, the food came out alright but it just tasted bland. Wont be coming back here anytime soon, the nearby McDonalds was more warmer and pleasant than here.

Only reason I am giving it three stars is because the hostess. She offered no smile or pleasantries when we walked in. As we were leaving, the same with the new customers. She has the phone voice down, but as far as body language or facial expressions, blank. The food and the service were wonderful!

So, I used to love coming to this place before COVID for family gatherings. Simple breakfast on a Sunday morning. It was really nice. Just this past weekend was my first time going back since COVID started. I asked for a table of 10 and they let me know we wouldn’t be seated until the entire party arrived. Then I added three more people were coming. After waiting for my family for 29 minutes I did let them know that my parents (80 and 76) were too hungry already and that we were okay with sitting separately since the rest of our party wasn’t there yet. The waitresses were nice sat us down. My husband my son and my parents. We sat in a booth only for 4 people so we got a chair for my son to sit on the side. 2 minutes later DANIEL the manager comes and tells us very upset to get that chair out of there. Huge attitude. I asked him why he was being so rude and he completely went off on us. It was so upsetting to see a manager behave this way. All we wanted was a nice breakfast before my parents returned to Mexico but this guy Daniel ruined our morning. As we walked out I noticed this place was pretty empty for a Saturday morning. But with that type of management it made complete sense. If you have a family of 4 or more don’t try going there they made it clear they didn’t want us there. Even the waitresses seemed nervous about their manager.

Its been there forever, everything changes around it but it stays the same. The oldies are loud enough to hear and soft enough not to annoy you while your eating. Service was great and the perfect tasty and didnt have that fast food flavor. Clean and courteous, I forget why I dont eat there that frequently. Really enjoyable.

Their air is not working, I was told by an employee that the powers that be dont want to fix it. Their menu prices are going up, but in all honesty whose arent, their customer service was so so. Foods okay. But overall experience.... I dont think Ill be going back.

Food was very tasty and service was very quick. I went for breakfast on a weekday around 11am so the place wasnt too crowded. I got the cinnamon swirl french toast (dont quote me on the name) and I loved it. They were cooked all the way so they were not soggy but were not tough. I could actually taste the cinnamon and they didnt taste eggy. Our waitress was also very nice about bringing us more coffee long after we finished our food and brought us our check. Overall great experience. We would definitely go back if we end up in the area again.

My wife used the restroom and was disgusted by the filth she saw in there. The faucets and the metal work for the toilet were filthy and black with crusty mold, instead of it being shiny chrome. The manager should be ashamed of himself/ herself for having a filthy restroom.

Great place for a hearty meal. Quiet atmosphere for having a conversation over your meal or reading the paper. There is piped in music and some locations have TV monitors with the news, which isnt over powering and nice in the background. The servers are on the ball with coffee refills, and the decor is kept up. The meals are good portions, and dont forget to take a slice or a whole pie home with you🙂

It was terrible. Didnt seem like they had their stuff together. They didnt seem clean despite the fact that you cant some in without wearing a mask. Order our drinks and when i got my apple juice it didnt seem right. Looked a bit cloudy. Well, it was spoiled.... the tables were wobbly and our table was still dirty. The waiter seemed annoyed when we asked what veggies they had for omelets, my husband is vegetarian.We had to get up and cancel our order. So sad cause the Carrows is Pasadena is always great. Instead we left and drove down the street to IHOP. Cleaner, friendlier and the food was great

The carpets very dirty, wallpaper coming off, tables not very sturdy, restrooms very dirty with graffiti all over, and management refuse to turn on the A/C!! If not why do you have your website associated with this address?Secondly, going over your dialogue here and also visiting your website you do need to proof read your web pages. I found several Grammer errors throughout the website.Thirdly, your website is not very mobile phone friendly. I found myself having to zoom in quite a bit in order to read what was posted on your website.Also I would recommend expanding on exactly what it is you do and how you do it. Alrighty a couple of years back my family came here to try this place out for some reason I was convinced on their advertisement on TV. All ima say is it took forever for us to get seated even though the place wasnt packed sadly the food itself took forever to make like comon it doesnt take more than 15-20min to make everyones simple order a burger with fries and 2 orders of pancakes with bacon and hasbrowns. Im taking 2 stars away because there was a womans long piece of hair on my hashbrowns.. I was nice enough to let it slide and not bother too much since Im not grossed out easily, but, had this happened to a different customer, chances are they would have complained about it and asked for a new plate of food or a refund.. Had the house omelet w/ hashbrowns on second occasion - umm um.I saw while perusing the menu numerous delicious looking items that I must return for and try such as, beer battered fish &chips, BBQ ribs and chicken, Salmon, Pot roast burger, salads, choices galore, quite extensive menu.So far the food is as tasty and presented as in the menu pictures so Im looking forward to the lunch and dinner entrees. Very friendly and capable staff on duty. My table had our drinks refilled almost every time our server walked past as well as another server pitching in.Its hard to find this type of food quality and service in well established restaurants anymore. Hoffs Hut was a favorite but they have closed so many locations that theyre hard to find. Carrows, keep up the good work in Monterey Park and you will always have return customers.

Carols in Monterey Park just recently got remodeled and it does look nicer the wine and beer keeps the crowd there with great TVs you feel like youre at home eating prime rib for under twenty bucks can you beat that
