After being jerked around by a previous advisor who made all recommendations that benefited him, I was at my wits end. Though his resume and client base looked all glamorous, he could give a rats about his clients. Our accounts made very little gains and basically went nowhere.And then we found Alec Tuckman. His resume is better than glamorous. Its the kind of experience that makes you feel like hes financial royalty and yet he never acts like it! He was with a different firm back then. We followed him when he started Wealth Management Partners. He has been our financial advisor for 6 years now. With him, we always feel so supported and grateful to have found him. There are never any conflicts of interest in what he recommends.Even when we arent putting money into our retirement accounts (weve had to pause for financial reasons due to other self directed investment projects or getting in over our heads a few times), he is still available to have meetings and help with whatever we want to figure out, including changing our strategy depending on how much risk we want to take on at the time. Our accounts have made consistent gains and Alec reaches out to explain the market with words of encouragement or reassurance when the market is taking a downturn. We especially love his newsletters. His dedication to education is unmatched. Its a bonus that he treats us like family!

My wife and I met with Alec Tuckman at Wealth Management Partners of Los Angeles and were very impressed with his services. Its never easy to find someone you can trust with hard earned savings, but he immediately made us feel relaxed and put our mind at ease. It was clear from the beginning that he knows the industry and has been in the business for quite some time. He gave us guidance on our finances and went over everything from estate planning and investing to goal planning and risk management. For our first meeting, he took the time to get to know us as people (on a more personal level) like no other professional has. When he did make a recommendation, he explained why he chose that path and didnt make us feel ignorant for the lack of knowledge about the Stock Market. We felt like we were more informed investors by listening to him. It was an amazing educational process. We love that his firms specialty is a focus on investing in the Stock Market and mitigating the risk. Every firm is happy to throw you into a mutual fund, ride out the stock market and call it a day, but I dont like losing a dime and I love the ideas we discussed. With challenging economic times like these, its always good to know we can preserve our principal and still get good gains. Mr. Tuckman went over several opportunities we didnt even know were possible. We are now contemplating doing a more comprehensive financial plan. Alec is an absolute expert, to-the-point, friendly, and clear in his communication. Hes an absolute heavyweight when it comes to financial advising, you can tell that in about ten seconds on the phone with him. Hes incredibly sharp. Simply going over my money situation with him had me reassessing and thinking in new ways. Which is exciting.
