A huge thank you to Barrie and Anne Marie Crake/Waymaker Realty for all their help in selling my condo. From day one, they were professional and attentive. They guided me through every step of the way, from listing to sale.Anne Marie worked with me to come up with a plan for staging to ensure it showed in the best possible way. I know that was the main factor in selling it within a week of the listing!Barrie was a strong negotiator and was in constant contact with me to give me updates. We’ve been fortunate enough to work with Barrie and AnneMarie Crake on two occasions, most recently in the purchase of our current home. It was a wonderful surprise that AnneMarie was the selling agent on the house, and, without any conflict of interest, Barrie was willing to represent us in the purchase. My wife and I recently worked with Ann Marie and Barrie on the purchase of a house. For us it was coming home as we have been in the Pacific Northwest for the last 15 years but had raised our family in San Diego. It will be great to be near our grandchildren. Weve bought and sold 8 homes over the years and the Crake Team was by far the best selling agent weve had! I wish I could give ten stars!!! We met Barrie and AnneMarie Crake when they were selling a home in San Marcos that was similar to what we were wanting to purchase. I originally met AnneMarie and Barrie Crake when they told my neighbors house in November 2020, and then my other neighbors house in February 2021 in Discovery Hills in San Marcos. They are very kind and caring people and take the relationships with their clients personally as well as professionally. I lost my husband 4 years ago so I was selling my house and going through this transaction alone, which made it an especially emotional and time sensitive process for me. I told AnneMarie and Barrie when we first spoke about the sale of my house, that I did not want to be rushed and that I needed to do it my timing, due to the level of emotion involved. They were kind, personable and not pushy. They allowed me the time I needed to work through the process. I signed the listing agreement with them in February 2022 after our initial meeting in October. They worked with me on the professional staging, the photography, and all the details to get my house to go on the market as well as explaining their pricing and marketing strategies. They were professional, calm, and caring, thorough-out the process and explained everything in an a straight-forward manner. They were honest and direct at all times and also empathic when I was emotional and over-whelmed, and whenever I had questions. AnneMarie has the personal touch for the staging, and the camera presence to eloquently showcase her clients houses in the beautiful videos that they produce. Barrie, is a numbers whiz and presented me with the offers on an organized Excel spreadsheet, which made it easy to compare and contrast the multiple offers I received. This review is long over due. My parents met Anne Marie when looking to buy a house in San Marcos way back in 2009. They found them the perfect house that my parents fell in love with and they did that same for me and my boyfriend! They are so kind and patient and really try hard to find you your perfect house. After a looking at a couple of houses I wanted to give up because it seemed like we were never going to find a house (even though we were only looking for a couple of months lol), but Anne Marie was so kind and assured me shed find us a house. A couple more month passed by and we found one that we all loved. My boyfriend and I were first time home buyers and Anne Marie and Barry were with us every step of the way. When we finally got the keys to the house they were as excited that we got the house as we were. They bought some balloons and decorated the balcony! My wife and I are planning to move from Canada to San Diego North County because of my job.
