Just had a project completed to install 1 home charger and 1 wall plug for the’s charger and couldn’t be happier. They responded to my phone call and online inquiry right away with a reasonable quote. They were able to make adjustments to our installation plan, and speak with me directly to clarify both the estimate and our needs. They were able to get us scheduled in a reasonable timeframe, working around our schedule. Brian was very personable, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that everything was in working order and up to code the day of our installation. I used Watsons for an EV charger install. I chose Brian after reading the positive reviews here and after he provided a very competitive quote upon receiving the info and photos I submitted via his web form.He filed the permit application 2 days before the scheduled install, it was approved the next day, and the day after he did the install. I worked with Watson’s for installation of wall 3 connector with dynamic power management as my house load was maxed to limit 100 amp. Scheduling and communication with Brian was a breeze. Josh came out on the install day and installed in the tight spacing to meet pgne greenbook requirements. They kept me posted on city permit application process and keeping my fingers crossed to pass this final step in next few weeks. Overall their bid was competitive and they refused any work without pulling city permits that speaks about their work ethics and integrity. It was the final decision maker to go with them.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Jesus and his team for the standard installation of a NEMA 14-50 outlet and new 40-amp breaker in existing panel for my 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV. From the get-go, the service was impeccable. Despite living in the country with a septic system that can make the work environment challenging, the electrician and his apprentice handled the installation with utmost respect and professionalism. They were kind, engaging in small talk, and showed a great deal of care for my property. The apprentice, tasked with the tough job of navigating through the crawlspace, did so without a single complaint—even in the face of the inevitable dirt and odors.Their gratitude for allowing them to work on my house was both unexpected and appreciated. Jesus showed up to set up my Ford Lightning charger ready to work. I gave him my preferred location which had a few obstacles to overcome and he did not mind at all. The original location would have been much easier but not as convenient for my needs. Jesus kept the job site clean and most importantly left a clean site. He also hauled away all the packaging. He took the time to answer all the questions during the installation. After the installation he stayed to make sure the my truck would charge and helped with the app navigation. Overall a great great experience.

Brian was very easy to work with. We had issues with PGE to upgrade our panel to 200amps. Brian helped us to.work with PGE, but in the end PGE was just to difficult and expensive to upgrade. I had a Gen 3 Tesla Wall Connector installed and it was an excellent experience with Watsons Charging Stations & Electric! I shopped around quotes and found Brian to be totally professional, courteous, and prompt with answering questions by email or phone. When I bought my first electric car recently, I decided to get a charger installed in our home garage. The car manufacturer partners with Qmerit, a company that locates reputable charger installation companies in the relevant area. Qmerit directed me to Watsons Charger Installers, and very soon Watsons responded, asking me to provide information about our electrical system and photographs of the electrical panels and the garage so that it could provide a quote. They gave me a quote promptly and set up a convenient time for installation.Brian and Jesus arrived as scheduled, and then we discovered that because of a misunderstanding on my part, I hadnt purchased the charging unit. Brian happened to have one at his office, so he drove 45 minutes each way to get it. I really appreciate his having gone above and beyond - otherwise we would have had to reschedule.Brian also made a recommendation as to where to install the unit, which was a much more logical and convenient place than I had envisioned.The installation was quick and professional, and they cleaned up everything nicely when they were done. I was skeptical of electricians after a few bad experiences but Brian was creative, smart, efficient and flexible, which was required for the work I needed done. He had great solutions to the problems I threw at him and was great at communicating what needed to occur, what was going to occur and options for any problems that came up. He was flexible to work around my busy schedule(modifying the work being done and loudness of work based off my work at home schedule) and also work with other construction crews that were involved in the project. Lastly, his solutions and the finished end product were not the easy way out and I was appreciative of the thought taken with solutions where he treated my home as if it were his own. He is also very polite and professional. Brian did an excellent job installing a charging station for our new EV. It was a complicated installation with the charging station in a detached garage. Conduit had to go through the wall of the garage and up and over a breezeway and then under the house to connect to the back side of the main panel.My husband, a retired electrical contractor, was very pleased with Brians work and we felt his fees were very reasonable. We were so pleased that we hired Brian to install a new subpanel at the other end of the house where we were having a hot tub and swim spa installed. He also brought the power out to the pools. We got our iPace on 3/1 and we were given Brians information for installing the charger. He was very responsive but before we could schedule anything, Covid-19 shut all activity down. Then when he could finally do the work, it took a long time for him to get the permit and then the inspection as city services were limited. Through it all, he maintained contact with us and was very patient. He was willing to wait till the inspection was complete before receiving payment, even though it was unknown how long we would have to wait before we were given an inspection appointment. Well, the inspector came out yesterday and approved everything.We would highly recommend Brians services. Working with Brian was very easy. He came by to understand what we wanted. We needed a 60A circuit for an EV charger and an extra outlet in the bathroom, but there were no available slots in our panel. He explained that would not be an issue, he could replace some of the breakers and open up more space. His quote came back as the most reasonable and did the work exactly as we scheduled.What really impressed me, though, was the quality of his work. He made an extra effort to run a very clean line through the garage so that the conduit would not be visible or in the way. I requested estimates from licensed Electricians, certified by the Qmerit website, for installing an EV Charging station at my house. Brian called promptly and offered to schedule a time he could come look at my proposed charger location.He arrived punctually and was very accommodating. We readily agreed on a price. I have solar panels and can monitor our production, but I also wanted to see how much we were using, so I purchased a Sense device. Our circuit panel is designed in a way that I thought might make installation difficult, maybe impossible. I spoke with Brian at some length by phone to make sure what I wanted to do would work. Would recommend to ANYONE who is looking to get a level 2 charger installed at their home! They were able to do the work where Im at - Hayward, CAFor context: I found them through Enel Xs website with their partnered electrician for installation. We chose the Juicebox 40 for our charging needs.Watsons reached out to me on Oct 4 (at least thats the earliest date in my email, cant remember if they called 1 day before that).My request was: PURCHASE of the charger (they have the option of handling the purchase), installation via hardwire, PULL PERMITS (cheaper if you know how to get this done, I do not hence why I requested) and arrange for inspection. Total $2130, others Ive gotten was like similar to this cost w/o factoring the cost of the charger.I got my quote from them but wanted to shop around first. It wasnt until Oct 20 when I decided to pull the trigger with them. Installation occurred on Nov 18 with the actual installation taking 1-2hrs I think?So all in all, maybe just under 1 month for the whole thing (not including me shopping around)? Of course could be faster I think if i went with them right away and also depends on your citys turn around for permits but IMHO seemed pretty decent time.On install day: Brian arrived promptly (actually a little early, I didnt mind). Clearly explained the plan for the day and got started. Gave me quick updates during the installation and he came across a potential future problem: our panel had some water getting inside!At this point the installation was already finished and we were playing the waiting game for the inspector. He did some investigating and had some theories about the cause and would make sure he could resolve the problem (or escalate to PG&E if he could not fix it) - again he was very transparent in his line of thinking.
