2024-03-10 21:58:19The people running this place are very genuine good people, they deserve so much appreciation from all of us in the community. I think we should throw a bbq-block party here to show em we care and wanna give back for once . I’m also not kidding. If anyone wants to help me organize this please let me know in the comments or something. This could be really fun. but I’m gonna need some help

2023-02-26 18:56:38An amazing community center that offers workshops to learn and plan for your own water wise garden. They have informative displays to show features one can do at home. Also has an open field and exercise area. Many other amenities. Definitely worth a stop.

2020-07-30 16:43:33I’m not from the area, but wanted to stop by at parks from different cities to walk my dog every so often. This park is beautiful. I love the smell of the plants as you’re walking, it gives off the impression that you’re actually in wilderness. My dog seemed to have had an adventure of his own as well.

2024-01-13 20:28:42Wonderful little community center with a park nearby. Its focused on gardening and landscaping demonstrations, with a demonstration garden featuring native, drought resistant plants. They hold lectures and hands-on demos here very often. Great place to check out if youre interested in plants and gardening. Very family friendly and there are plenty of benches and seats.

2019-09-24 23:50:33Such a refreshing place to unwind and relax. The park and gardens are so peaceful. Both have a nice smooth place to walk and are easily enjoyed by all ages. Kids will get a kick out of the several giant desert tortoises that live in the gardens (in habitats of course). Check out the community center, there is tons of information for you and the kids to learn about the water cycle, how to conserve, and how landscape in a water wise manner. They offer classes and programs as well there is even a seed library.

2019-02-13 05:02:00**Dont be rude! Hit LIKE!**I just love this place! Been going to this park for a little over 18 years. Lately, within the past year or so daily. I must start off with mentioning what or better yet whos an attraction up there & thats Sam the tortoise. Now, Ive been going to the park for daily walks with my dog. This place is so nice, clean, quiet & inviting. Theres usually someone either walkingtheir dog. Walking the trails or exercising on the nice workout equipment thats provided by the park. All stationary equipment bit well maintained & cared for equipment. This place is so awesome that they offer free doggie poop bags in 3 different locations through out the park. Dog must be on leash, although some just dont oblige the rules. I really enjoy my walks in this lovely well kept park. On certain weekends the nice water conservation folk that work there offer gardening & watering conservation classes for our residents. Also the nice folks that work really hard at maintaining this park go around the park in the mornings cleaning up. This place is a gem.
