I’ve been getting ice cream here for years! One of my favorite places with unique flavors. They no longer do flights, which is a bummer.I always come for seasonal flavors! They have single scoops, split scoop, and tasting trios available.Come! You won’t be disappointed. Vegan flavors also available.

Excellent service! Kind helpful and great attitude. Made the 3 scoop $16 experience. But the ice cream lacks flavor. It was nice to Google ice cream near by and give it a whirl. But will not be returning. Not worth the hard earned cash.

Ive been a loyal customer since they opened back in 2015. The first summer I was probably here on a weekly basis. I love their seasonal flavors but my favorite is still Ive Malted Crunch and Cacao Passion Fruit! Ask to taste all the flavors as they rotate regularly!

Oh my thank the great man or woman or alien or just wonderful being that created Wanderlust Creamery.This place is easily my favorite ice creamplace near me and it’s hard not to get extra for the next day.The flavors are always pretty random and weird sounding but let me tell you they all taste amazing. There hasn’t been one flavor I haven’t wanted to bring home.The new flavors they have from the knafeh to the pandan are a must. Easily a must go place if you are nearby

I will endlessly dream of this mango sticky rice cream and wish I had the wherewithal to attempt to recreate it. Super cute ice cream joint with flavors inspired by famous dessert dishes around the world. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing mango sticky rice while eating Thai food you will be blown away by how spot on this flavor profile mimicked it. My only complaint would be that I wish there were more mango chunks or even some rice in the ice cream but at the same time the flavor is perfect so if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. They are in the pricier end but I appreciated that you could do half scoops in order to taste more flavors!

I love Wanderlust. Probably one, if not my favorite ice cream places ever!I go to this location at least once a month- but every Wanderlust location has a rotating seasonal flavor list that changes every month. The flavors are inspired by around the world and there’s always a plentiful amount of Asian-inspired flavors.The texture of the ice cream is so. smooth. And nothing is overly sweet.Our favorites on the non-seasonal flavor list are the Malted Ube Crunch and the Japanese Neapolitan. I’m Filipino American and can give my stamp of approval on the ube flavor! Theres not too many malt balls so it’s not overwhelming, but a perfect sweet crunch. The Japanese Neapolitan, the three flavors blend really well together.You have to try the seasonal flavors! One of my all time favorites is the calamansi creamsicle that they had during Filipino American History month. They post their flavors on their Instagram so you can check them out ahead of time. You can also try some free samples if you can’t decide.Also at this location specifically the employees are so kind! After living in the San Fernando valley for years and hearing rave reviews of this place, finally on Valentines Day I went there with a friend and my 2 daughters. Since then, Ive been back twice.They use the freshest ingredients with their seasonal flavors as well as signature flavors which are available all year round.Theyre well known for their ube malted crunch which I had to order and I would definitely order a pint of this to take home. So I give this flavor a 5/5 rating.Other flavors Ive tried and rate as follows:Japanese Neapolitan: 5/5Pandas tres leches: 5/5Kinder: 4/5Sakura crunch: 5/5Theyre located in the corner of Reseda and Ventura with ample parking.

One of my favorite flavors is earl grey. Hands down favorite ice cream shop. they have crafted really amazing flavors, and thats what makes them the best. ive been coming here since theyve opened...so happy their success has allowed them to open another location ! my favorite regular flavors are the earl grey, honey lavender and the pretzel one (i can never remember how to spell the second part rrrrr something lol) oh and i think theyve added japanese neopolitan too. i always come back so i can try their seasonal flavors !the parking here is a little tough if you come during their peak hours...which id say is in the evening after dinner time, esp on the weekends.**i read through the low starred reviews: IF YOU WANT BASIC FLAVORED ICE CREAM DO NOT COME HERE. Excellent, high quality, unique flavors. Expensive ice cream but you get what you pay for. Flavors from around the world in unique combinations. Multiple dairy free and even vegan options which definitely compete with the usual dairy based options. They do have a rewards service if you end up coming in often, which I know I do.

The flavors were great and the employees were very kind. The only reason I dont give them 5 stars is because the time I went they werent ready and they had been open for more than an hour. Not all the flavors were available and it was a little messy inside. Other than that I enjoyed it.

I continue to visit a location of Wanderlust at least once per visit to LA :) And, I take new people with me every time. I remember artisinal flavor was a relatively new term when Wanderlust opened up shop a few years back. Now any new boutique ice cream shop worth their pink Himalayan Salt would be remiss without that term. I like that Wanderlust stuck to their guns and created flavors that provoked not just the cerebral interests with thought provoking titles to flavors but remained on mission with flavors that actually bring you places through the tastebuds. Like today the Sakura crunch... highly recommended.

Im so disappointed by this place!! It was to be my favorite ice cream - flavors are really wonderful. It is outrageous how much they silently downsized the portions . We ordered 3 tasting trios and you could barely see the ice cream on the bottom of the cups! We could not believe we actually had to pay the full price for that. My kids were disappointed and I was really upset. I dont know if the owners are aware of what is happening in their stores especially the Tarzana location. They are lucky customers dont complain to the business bureau. I suppose there should be some trade rules about the quantity. Their practice became a turn off for me to go there.

Friendly and helpful staff, samples with no guilt, and a great selection of wonderful not-so-common flavors goes towards Wanderlust Creamery being an awesome place for ice cream. Much of the flavors are inspired from Asian tastes: Uber, Earl Grey, a lavender flavor, Vietnamese Coffee, etc. Others are unique and just different...like one based on New Zealand Hokey Pokey. The staff here are very friendly, helpful and will offer advice. Prices are moderate...but worth it.

Got a double scoop of hokey pokey and Abuelita malted crunch $8. They were a bit thick but the richness of the flavor’s were great. The hokey pokey was a soft but intense vanilla with some sweetness. The abuelita was a soft and subtle but consistent chocolate.

Whenever Im in LA, I seek out the creameries for flavors I cant find back in Chicago. I esp love Lavender ice cream, so this place has my heart. A bit more pricey than the chain ice cream stores, but these places offer unique flavors that you wont run across easily. Well, LA does have alot of artisinal ice cream parlors Ive noticed, but that a good thing, right?! Its a bit small inside, so you might not find a seat but they have outdoor seating too.

I love this place, I really do. Though today (7/16/23) was very different. I got the Pandan Tres Leche. It is usually a white color with pieces of pandan cake and condensed milk mixed into it. Though today it was like a light brown. I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt but it tasted disgusting, like sugar water. There also was no pieces of panda cake or condensed milk anywhere. I couldn’t even make myself eat it. I’m not sure if they changed the recipe or if someone made the pandan wrong. Though for the price, it was very disappointing.

Ube was amazing. Unmatched flavor, sweetness and texture. Would absolutely get again. 5/5. The Japanese Neapolitan was a mix of black sesame and green tea/matcha but felt a little muted. The flavors could have been stronger individually. 4/5 The mango sticky rice was a pretty decent approximation but the mango flavor was too sweet/sugary and lacked some of the texture that mutes the sweetness of the fruit when prepared with sticky rice. 3/5. I had the pleasure of taking my nieces and nephews for some ice cream, and I must admit it was a great decision. Not only did the kids got to taste different flavors before ordering, but they also got their extra toppings exactly the way they liked. They also have began options for anyone who cannot consume animal products. The customer service was also fantastic, as the employees took their time to take care of all 7 kids that were with me. With so many flavors and excellent customer service, its no wonder theyre rated so high. Ill definitely be back again.

Simply amazing. They make all their own flavor ice creams and offer both a standard selection of customer favorites and monthly special flavors. If I remember correctly, there are about 5 or 6 special flavors each month. Their recipes arent just one simple flavor either. They are blends of ingredients from across the world that make unique and delicious flavors together. Love the concept of this place! Different flavors from different parts of the world. From the samples Ive tried - they were all delicious. I settled on the White Rabbit with an Ube waffle cone. The most unique and best-tasting ice cream anywhere in the US, without a doubt! Wanderlust Creamery has flavors with ingredients Ive never even heard of before. When you visit, be sure to get the Tasting Trio and you NEED to try the Thai Iced Tea flavor. That is my single most favorite ice cream flavor Ive ever had. It tastes exactly like an ice cream version of Thai iced tea SHOULD taste like! Other amazing flavors are Earl Grey and Yuzu Cheese Boba (yes, actual cheese inside the ice cream, but believe me when I say this: it tastes so good). We have been here a couple of times. Our experience is okay otherwise we will not come back. It is really great that they allow us to sample their ice cream. The flavors are quiet unique. Every time we come we always try something different. We have not come up something as our favorite. Staff are helpful and friendly. The place is clean and sometimes you have to fall in line for your ice cream. It really depends on what time you come. There is adequate parking every time we come.

They have very unique ice cream flavors. I couldnt pass up trying the Thai Tea flavor since I love the drink. It tastes just like the drink but I did not like it mixed with the cone. If you are a planner, check their website before you go for their daily offerings, complete with descriptions. They also have pour over coffees and they use the right technique for the process.

Based off of my experience, it wasnt so great. Sure they had some exotic ice cream flavors, but thats about it. After looking at the other reviews, I started considering that perhaps I didnt pick the right flavors or something of that sort. But then again, my review is based off of my experience. I get it it’s an ice cream place but it’s way too cold.Second, the staffs aren’t friendly. They try to keep their answers short so we don’t ask any more questions. It sounds more like a “shut up” rather than “may I help you?” The flavors are unique there so of course I’ll have questions about them but they just try to wrap it up so I won’t ask any more questions...Lastly, the door is FREAKING heavy and super hard to open. I almost got my arm stuck...I’d rather drive to Venice or Pasadena location for this ice cream. Tarzana location SUCKS.

My wife and I stopped in after we had dinner down the street. We were greeted with a smile from the girl behind the counter. She explained to us that the owners travel a lot and the flavors are inspired by those travels and we were free to sample as many flavors to our hearts content. I dont remember the date for the first visit I made to Wanderlust Creamery, but I can remember the experience very clearly. Tucked away in a small shopping mall once home to Panda Express and other fast food joints (since gone) is a small storefront with large glass windows displaying the smartly designed interior of Wanderlust Creamery. My first selection is one of their staples; if you can only have one scoop, make it the Mango Sticky Rice with an Ube cone! This place was super packed when we visited (Memorial day weekend, Friday). The mango sticky rice flavor was not good at all. I had high hopes for this flavor it definitely disappointed. I forget the name of the one my spouse had, but that made up for the mango sticky rice one. The seating is non existent in this place. Theres 2 tables that have 3 chairs at each. Id be happy if they had outdoor seating as well. Nobody wants to get ice cream and drive lolAlso, no bathroom, and if you go later in the evening you have to drive (or walk) across the busy street to CVS.We drove quite a ways as well which is another reason we were so bummed, definitely wasnt worth the long drive.

I was not happy with the service I received from uninterested seemingly bored employees. There was no one else in the place (not surprisingly) and I couldnt leave soon enough. I drive past this building almost every day and I have never ever seen anyone go in or out of it. This is the same venue where the Coldstone Creamery used to be. It was always packed and had lines out the door. Unfortunately they moved to a better location. This place is unappealing, obscure, lacking, and I would gladly go out of my way to tell people NOT to eat here.

Unique flavors with an overarching theme (travel) as well as seasonal themes (e.g., Game of Thrones, when its final season was airing). There are always at least a couple vegan flavors, and the mango sticky rice flavor is good enough to tempt non-vegans even with the array of interesting dairy-filled options. They sometimes have a green vegan cone (which I believe gets its color from pandan imported from Malaysia, hence their not always having it available). I went there to try it the first time. When I first walked up the person at the counter said no cash, credit card only. I figured no problem I have my Samsung pay on my phone. Once going to the register I was told the touchless phone process did not work and they need the physical credit card so they can manually enter the numbers.
