2024-01-04 01:59:36Arlene Garcia is the most RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL person in the 680 mailroom. From my experience from attempting to ship a package she continued to cut me off and presumed to also mention my skin color, I have time and time told the higher management Jonathan Price & Mike Lemus but they have not done anything about this either. I took my business somewhere else.

2021-01-06 10:10:36I remember briefly at Walmart Labs... I emailed and Slack to some team member for some info on a ticket for something to be fixed... 48 hours later, still no reply... I found her some where in the company, and she was holding her iPhone, looking at her childrens photos. My manager, told me to add something to the project (software engineering), what is similar to the handlebar of a bicycle, to be able to explain it better. After I added it and it worked well, she and the other coworker asked me why the bicycle wont go. I said, the pedals and the chain and the wheel are not my tasks. They told me no, after you put on the handlebar, if the bicycle doesnt go, then you have to add the pedals and chain and the wheels. There were coworkers there every day that would put orange construction cones on the visitor-only parking spots so other people wont park there but they can park there, because management doesnt allow contractors to park there, and there are 200 contractors there. The only exception is the visitor parking spots, so thats why those contractors put orange cone and put them on the visitor parking spots so they can park there. If you are a contractor and you move the cones and park there? Well, be ready your car can be scratched or if they hold a key next to their jeans and lean on your car and move around. So the parking lot every day had about 300 empty spot, but the company needs to pay the landlord for parking and the company doesnt want to do that. So every day, there are 300 empty spots, and 200 contractors parking around the residential streets. The residents also put out orange cones so their spot on the public street doesnt get all filled up. And then, if you are late for a meeting and want to park there for the morning, remember there is a security person going around the parking lot the whole day, giving out the first warning and the second time, tow your car away. There was a contractor from a consulting company up north across the border. He basically hid all the info, made the code difficult to read, and no docs, no comment whatsoever. And he would bring in other contractors from that same consulting company, showing them as rockstars. There were actually 3 or 4 contractors from that same company in our team or in the nearby teams, and once they get more and more people into the company, they will have a small kingdom inside the company. After I joined, a director also joined, and then one coworker who is known to be married, she was super sweet to the director. And the director was super sweet to her too. So when she was 15 minute late to come to the meeting, instead of feeling not good or anything, the directory would stand up and yield the chair to her, and shed respond with the sweetest smile. Later on, they would walk around the parking lot, just the two of them, and the lady would show the sweetest smile. She treated contractors quite bad, throwing out mood or temper, but she was so sweet to the director, and of course, the director is the person who would directly or indirectly affect her promotion and the bonus that she receives.

2019-08-28 22:23:28Walmart Labs is a bad Neighbor! They dont allow their hoards of contract H1B workers to park on site. They have them show up late to avoid the 7hr parking restrictions. By 10:30 am they are circling the residential neighborhoods like Vultures. Making parking non existant to residents.Since they come late they leave late. Residents cant park in their neighborhood after work because of Walmart Labs encroachment. Walmart Labs only cares about Walmart Labs! The inconsiderate Walmart Labs contract workers take up 2 spaces so they can get tree shade, block driveways, park in front of fire hydrants, hit & run into parked cars, in general they are a nuisance. What has the City of Sunnyvale done? Nothing!

2018-06-13 01:22:03Stop parking on our streets. Tell Walmart to purchase more parking (one of the lots is half empty every day), since we will soon be towing anyone parked without a permit.

2023-05-09 22:55:54Parking is nightmare aside in the SF city if reach office later than 9:45 AM. As the other comment mentioned, one of the lots is empty every day, why cannot Walmart purchase more parking for the employees to save their time in looking for parking and focus on the work???
