Cannot emphasize enough how much we love the staff at Wag Hollywood! After having a less than stellar experience at another company, we were hesitant to put full trust in another daycare. We were thrilled to learn that a majority of the staff here are not only true dog lovers, but are looking to hone their skills here and move onto various careers within the industry. Our 9 year old Staffordshire Terrier needs one on one care, and they give him such wonderful quality time that he always comes home in the best mood! The 24hr care, attentive staff, and positive attitudes by all make it a warm and welcoming place for our big guy. Highly recommend you bring your fur baby to this stellar location!

OH HOW I LOVE WAG HW! AND..... you guys.... RONNIE IS BACK! Now as General Manager (as he should be, that sparkling gem!)! And what awesome changes with great promotions for Andrew, Kenya and the gang! (Thank you sweet Chris for the daily reports on my Shiba too!) All of this deserves full caps! :) My baby has been going here since 2022, from all-day play to one-on-one (which I was hesitant about and usually am) - but every beautiful human treats her like the amazing doggy she is and gives her so much love and attention when shes here. My pup even gets to see her best doggy friends and play - which melts my heart! Everyone at Wag is exceptional and I hope you give them a try! Hollywood is the best location!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I boarded my two boys, Fitz and Louie, at Wag for a 5-night stay while I was on a work trip, and the experience was absolutely perfect! The staff was super friendly and attentive,, took the time to understand my dogs needs, and provided exceptional care throughout their stay. Ronnie and Oliver are the absolute best as are the rest of the team. The facilities were clean, with spacious suites keeping Fitz and Louie entertained and happy. I received daily updates with photos and videos, which gave me peace of mind and allowed me to focus on my work. They truly exceeded all my expectations, and I will undoubtedly return for future stays.

Love this place. I trust them with my precious baby (who, at times, can be difficult). He has so much fun when he’s there and i can check in with him any time or when the wag cam is accessible. Staff is friendly and knows when to separate my pup when he’s overstimulated. 15/10 would recommend!!

I meant to leave this review sooner! But absolutely loved Wag Hotels!! Took my 4 month very energetic pup and he did great and absolutely loved it! I left him for day care and I loved the flexibility they offer since I have crazy work hours! The staff was great and also worked with me and my work schedule to keep him in day care. I loved the fact that you’re able to see your pup while away and receive updates from the staff! I’ve already recommended to a few friends!

Had a great experience. Staff was patient and professional. They answered all of our questions and made us feel comfortable leaving our fur baby. It was our first time and we were anxious pet parents and they were very kind and understanding. They called if they had questions and kept us updated with daily pictures. Our Einstein was scared and they made him feel safe while we were away. We would definitely recommend Wag Hotels.

Great experience at Wag Hotel! Had a family emergency, so we needed to book day of for 7 days. Wag Hotel was super easy with the booking and accomodating. They took great care of our baby. She has 2 play sessions daily and we got pictures twice a day. We will definitely go back. Also, the staff was super nice and helpful.

We love Wag Hotels and have been bringing our dog here for the past 4 years (since she was a puppy)! Shes always so excited to go here for all-day play and boarding, and has the best time. Wag Hotels is exceptional! The staff has all been so kind and welcoming to me and my dog, Hugo. Kenya gave us a tour of the beautiful facility, including hotel style rooms for the dogs when they stay for boarding (one of many options). Ronnie, one of the managers, helped me out on my first day when I took my dog for his evaluation. He was very helpful and kind. Thank you to ALL the staff members at the front desk for being so helpful. Also thank you to ALL the staff that care for our dogs throughout the day!On a side note, they send you memories of your dog each day, and also you can watch your furry baby on a webcam between the hours of 10-6!Highly recommend!!

I really appreciated that wags was able to accommodate my pup during my business trip. The all day play and personal rest spot is nice and they have a great staff. My only complaint is that they serve kibble to the dogs which has done a number on her stomach. They should provide a fresh food option for dogs that don’t eat kibble or offer better quality alternative .

We love this pet hotel! We switched to this kennel when we were looking for one that allows picking up your pet 24/7. Andrew, Natalie and Lupe are just some of the staff who are so caring for our dog. Andrew is especially personable and helps us feel comfortable when it is hard to be separate from our dog. They have cameras so you can watch your dog in the play area and there is always someone out there with the dogs paying attention to them and their behavior. It is so cute how they take pictures and send to us while our dog is there.

We came to LA under the assumption we could leave our senior dog alone in the hotel room(cuz all he does is sleep all day), but the “pet friendly luxury hotel” we booked said part of their policy said no. :/ luckily, Wag hotel had our back! They took Twoey in under super short notice and took wonderful care of him! Both days we were in LA, he has a wonderful time in daycare! :) they were super accommodating, and the staff are informative and friendly!! 5/5 would recommend!

I have been taking my 4 yr old husky Daisy to Wags for many months now for doggie day care and she always has a good time. I get pictures of her stay and can look online at cameras if need be. I feel the staff are attentive, super friendly and truly love animals. I Highly recommend Wags Hotel Hollywood

I am so glad I found Wag Hotels!I just started using them recently and I absolutely love it.Work gets busy and sometimes I cant be home as much as I would want. Thankfully Wag has hours that work perfectly, I can easily drop off and pick up on days that I need. Their app makes it even easier :) Boarding, day care, and grooming all in one!The staff has been nothing but friendly and helpful. They always make sure to have my questions answered. They communicate with you regarding your pet stays and even send photos and have live video for their All day play option. I definitely know that Butter is in good hands and can be at ease knowing he is busy and well taken care of.Highly recommended, I will totally be using them :)

We really love WAG. Franklin and Bingo run up to the door and never look back when we bring them in for daycare. The staff REALLY care, and go above and beyond to make sure your pups are safe and happy. Webcams allow you to check in at all times, and snapshots are sent throughout the stay. Cant say enough about this great staff and place.

We love the Wag Hotels Hollywood location. Weve been taking our dog there since we moved to LA five years ago, he always has the best time and is tired when he gets home. He goes 2-3 days a week for daycare, and we also board him there when we are traveling. Over the years weve had only the smallest of issues come up, and the staff has always been so helpful and accommodating. We recommend Wag to anyone we know that has a dog!

We came to LA from Vancouver island Canada we walked in to wag hotels and knew right away this place was special. The staff who did her grooming came out while we were picking her up and asked if we were happy with her cut, the service is outstanding and they treat every animal like a celebrity. They even have web cam to check on your babies. Thanks for making our dream trip possible Wag hotels.

What an awesome place. My dog cant wait to visit. Everyone is super upbeat and professional and always has my dogs best interests at heart. They dont just throw all of the dogs together, they have activities and interact with the dogs to make their stay stimulating and fun. My dog has contracted Giardia twice at other facilities, never picked up anything at Wag. Special shout out to the new general manager, Ronnie who came out to introduce himself and show my pup some love and to Andrew, in charge of customer service.

We had an amazing experience at this Wag Hotel. My wife and I normally board our fur baby at the Wag Hotel in San Diego, but we decided to bring her along on our visit to LA, despite our plans to visit a few sights that didnt allow dogs--but at least this our baby can be with us at most of the time. The staff here at the Hollywood Wag Hotel was excellent. On our arrival, our golden retriever was gushed on by three staff members who quickly registered her and took her to the play area after a lot of hugs and kisses. Im also impressed by the menu of services and food options available here vs the the San Diego location. Ive posted a photo. Glad we brought our baby here.

We love Wag! I recently had the pleasure of using Wags Hotel for my 8 month doodle, Wally and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Love the staffs and the environment there. Also they would always keep the records of the pets habits and appetite. Every time I check in, they confirm with me that if I brought pig ears for my furry girl for night time because I always do. They also confirm with me of the amount of meals (they asked like ‘is it half box per meal?’) sounds like they already knew. Staffs really make us feel it’s my furry girl second home. I love that I can watch my girl playing at all-day-play. They don’t charge extra for bringing your own food and they would also give you a report card when check out. The reasons I only gave 4 stars: 1) they claimed I can watch my girl plays from 10am to 6pm thru their app but their camera doesn’t turn on until 10:30 and I tried to watch her play at 5:30pm and it’s already turned off. 2) I always schedule a bath for my girl on the day going home so she can come home clean. She’s always clean but her hair feels greasy and not fluffy. 3) I know it might not be Wag’s responsibility but my girl always comes home thirsty and her urine is very concentrated. I understand it might be hard to control how much water she drinks (she always drinks so much water at home) but just don’t know why. At least they don’t make her diarrhea even I brought her fresh food (I tried another boarding place before Wag and they made her gastroenteritis and went to ER). I can tell they handle the food very well. Other than these, my girl has great experiences with Wag. I’ll stick with them and happy they became my furry girl’s second home.

My dog means the world to me and I was initially hesitant to do doggy daycare but when I got put on a big project at work and my boyfriend was out of town, I decided it was time to look into it. Im so happy I did! My baby loved it and had the greatest time. I was able to watch him from the webcam while at work, which I really appreciated. We will definitely be back for daycare and overnight stays when we go out of town. I highly recommend it to all dog parents. The staff clearly really cares about the dogs and is super knowledgeable. Heres a photo of my sweet baby. You can see why I was hesitant about letting anyone else watch him. The Wags Team makes sure the dogs are having fun and are kept safe. We LOVE Wag Hotels Hollywood! Riley is 9 and has been going to Wag Hotels Hollywood since it opened years ago. Riley is treated like the Princess she is. 👑🐶 We trust Wag staff to take care of our girl when we’re gone for a long vacation a week+, or out-and-about for a few hours. They take pictures of her, and ensure they have all food and meds needed. Not to mention, she gets so excited to go and patiently waits by the “all day play” door to go in whenever I check her in. She barks being so excited to hang with the staff and her furriends! Wag seems very safe, clean, and well-kept. We had very high hopes! The staff seemed nice. Our first try with wag didnt go great, though. Our dog had a day of boarding with all day play. However he didnt get to spend much time in the play yard. There was a dog or dogs (unclear) that kept trying to mount our dog, and he did not appreciate that. So they ended up separating our dog and kept him in his kennel for the duration. We did not receive a call or text about this. I only knew because I checked on him via the camera available for the “deluxe suites”. When I called, the update I got was that our dog had a “disagreement” with another dog but that they were fine. It was odd. There was no attempt made to get teddy more play time, place him with smaller/less aggressive dogs, or anything like that. (Normally I would think you’d separate the dog that wont stop mounting other dogs? Are they unaltered?) They were kind enough to reduce the charge when we picked him up without even asking. I do think it’s likely a good daycare, and it’s so nice that it’s secure and open 24/7, but if they couldn’t sort this one out, it’s unfortunately unlikely that we will be back

Soufflé is a special boy, and needs a lot of care and attention, and Wag’s staff has been so nice and welcoming to me and my pup! From the top to the bottom, this crew at Wags Hotel (Hollywood) always gives great customer service and equally great love and attention to my dog, Pancakes, and to the rest of the fur family that is brought there for all-day-play or boarding. I pass by at least half a dozen similar establishments on the drive over there but its the positive and friendly vibe I get, as well as all the extra fun animal activities, that keep me coming back and Pancakes looking forward to visiting Wags Hotel, Hollywood! AS you maybe doing right now we combed the reviews to get an idea of how customers felt about the various options available in LA for your pet care. We hope this review helps you as you make an informed decision.We read reviews and narrowed our choices down visited various options and decided on WAG Hotel close by us in Hollywood.We booked a 8 night board for our puppy, July 30th- August 7th 2021.We felt it prudent to have our Puppy spend some time there prior to boarding and felt comfortable with the staff and his positive response to the day care.We left for a much needed 8 day vacation to Northern California- not too far- and we’re reassured by WAG staff we would get daily updates and some photos and all would be well.Three days into our trip we had one report and one photo so I called just to check in and was reassured our puppy was doing well.We had been assured daily reports and some photos.Six days in we got a call from Victor - staff at WAG- that our puppy may have Kennel cough and we needed to pick him up.We quickly worked on a plan to have him collected as soon as possible. We called our vet to arrange an appointment and cut our stay short by two days hopped in the car to drive back.We arranged for our niece to collect our puppy and get him to the vet.I called a few times to update WAG on pick up times who would pick him up and to ask how he was.Our puppy was checked out by our lovely Vet Dr Orme and prescribed medication for Kennel Cough however she was alarmed and saddened to tell us he had two bite marks on either side of his neck that were slightly infected needed cleaning and were signs of a larger dog picking him up by his neck.She asked if we knew about this.We were alarmed saddened shocked ….. and frustrated toNot have been toldThat no one at WAG noticed or if they did called us or tended to our puppy and worse of all left him untreated!We immediately called WAG Hotel and spoke with Savannah and explained the situation and followed up with an email, pictures of the bites and our vets report noting the treatment.Savannah responded in a manner that was empathetic and she demonstrated a professional approach assuring us she would look into it.She was clear that daily reports should have gone out to us also.She also let us know that that no dog at WAG should not only not be bitten but that it not being noticed treated and communicated immediately to us was not in anyway reflective of their procedures.The following day I called to check in on the status and Savannah called back acknowledging that there had been significant protocol and procedural deficits and the situation never should of occurred .We were offered two nights free and an upgrade on a room for our next visit.I was respectful but clear that the for us the issue was1. That the lack off staff oversight, care and communication was the issue for us and the resulting issues for our puppy.2. That a two night refund was not acceptable that a full refund would be necessary since none of their advertised and verbally assured protocols had been provided to our dog3. We would never dream of returning our dog to a place that was unable to provide basic care safety to our dog so the offer of an upgrade was declinedFortunately my communication style is respectful and assertive and Savannah is able to be an active listener and understood rightly so that since WAG HOTEL was Unable to provide care and safety to our dog and she acknowledged this said she was working with staff to rectify this and refunded our invoice.We understand this has not been other people’s experience as like you we read reviews and made our decision based on visits and reviews and asking around for recommendations.We hope if you do choose WAG HOTELS your puppy/ Dog does not have the awful experience ours did.It should also be noted no-one from WAG hotels has since called to ask how our puppy is doing, which for us supports our decision to never use this service or recommend it to anyone again.

I was super stressed about boarding my dog, but I had to travel for work so I found Wag Hotel in Hollywood and decided to try it out. Id never been away from my dog overnight before so admittedly I was freaking out and almost in tears over it. Embarrassing? Absolutely! Haha...but Chris gave me an in-depth tour and put my mind at ease. He is SO NICE and caring. Ive had nothing but good vibes from all the staff Ive interacted with. My doggie enjoys playing with the other pups all day & they even give you 2 days of daycare free to try it out, which I thought was an amazing offer. After the daycare trial, I ended up boarding my pup for a few days. I LOVE that you can watch them on the webcam and depending which room you book for boarding there are webcam options as well. My dog is definitely happy to come home, but I think he enjoys his time at Wag and I dont worry about his safety.Today, I booked a grooming appointment with Jessica. Somehow Jessica worked her magic and he allowed her to fully bathe and groom him! Hes so soft and handsome. It is impossible to get someone on the phone, usually taking 1-2 days to book a reservation. My dog was suddenly banned today after two years. He wasnt even at daycare today! He is a 60lbs rescue 2-year-old Pitmix. I received a call informing me that he had become unmanageable, and they would no longer accommodate him. He has been left in their care almost every weekend for the last two months. He loves most of the staff, but it seems like there is an issue with the new staff hired. I was told on Sunday by a staff member, who has over 12 years of dog handling experience, that he couldnt handle him. Which begs the question, how qualified is the staff? My dogs confirmed reservations were canceled before they called me and his pet profile. Wag does not offer training but insists that he needs it. They also didnt provide any leads or resources. He is leash-trained, not food-aggressive or human-aggressive. He routinely interacts with humans and dogs of all sizes when walking and at dog social events. He has been boarded there three times over the two years and has returned with marks every time. I never surfaced this because I know he is high energy, but they werent watching him. I am now left in a bind as daycare is the responsible option while I work on the weekends.

I am so upset by the service at this facility. Over thanksgiving my dog boarded here for 7 days. When I picked him up he was super lethargic, which is unusual for him because hes a very hyper Pomeranian. I also noticed an abnormal cough, and the following day my vet suggested taking him to urgent care. My dog is fully vaccinated, and I know with boarding there are always risks, but usually Id a facilities standards are up to par and they are monitoring the dogs properly, these things dont happen often. When we got to the vet, the vet said he was SEVERELY dehydrated, not something that happens overnight. He was immediately tested for canine influenza and variants that could cause kennel cough, and began treatment for pneumonia. The severity of his condition is not something that happens within a day. We brought him in the following day after picking him up from the facility. The vet said pneumonia doesnt just immediately occur, the underlying condition happens first (canine influenza or Bordatella) followed by pneumonia. Because of the this, just on science alone the timeline tells us he contracted it at the facility and was sick during his stay. My dog also does not go to dog parks or interact with other dogs, and especially does not drink out of communal water bowls. The facility took no responsibility, and whats even worse they tried to charge me more than the original quoted rate for his stay. I had to argue with them for them to adjust the rate after they tried to charge me $100 over the rate quoted. They denied any signs of my dog or any other dog in the facility being sick, clearly for liability reasons, and not wanting to shut down and disinfect during one of their biggest money making holidays thanksgiving. They continue to deny he was sick or any other dog was sick, even though scientifically the vets say this is impossible. There had to be another animal showing symptoms that Beau caught this from, considering my dog had been isolating with me for a week before this because I had to isolate before seeing my pregnant sister for the holidays. This place cares more about its profits than doing whats right for the animals. My dog is seriously ill now because of this and there has been no responsibility taken by the facility despite the facts are indisputable. Ive had to pay $500 to board him and now thousands of dollars in vet bills. I dont even think theyve shut down their facility to disinfect and I wonder if they even notified the other dog owners who were boarding during that time. Also, when I spoke to the manager he said he was going to try to get my vet bills covered or at least reimburse me for the stay, and that this wasn’t the first time this happened at their facility. Apparently they had a big shut down in August. After speaking with corporate the legal team wouldnt even allow them to acknowledge that he got sick at the facility and kept reiterating all the reports they have said he was fine, which is scientifically not possible at the rate viruses and bacteria incubate in the system. Be wary of this facility, I would not wish this on anyone.

Wanted to try a different boarding location for our dog as our current location has had him coming out a bit reactive.I cannot stress enough the night and day difference. From the moment we arrived, the person that welcomed us (Manny) was incredible. He was extremely helpful and friendly and polite. He went through the process for boarding and a run through of the activities and made sure we had all information to call or watch at any time.We left our dog for 4 nights and I legitimately mean it was like collecting a different dog. He was so calm and relaxed. We have a GSD/Husky mix with pretty bad separation anxiety and generalised anxiety.The car ride home was as if he had been with us. He was completely relaxed and content which is totally different to what we previously experienced.Not only were we happy with his care whenever checked the web cams, we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. We’ve had him back a week and he is genuinely a far calmer dog.We would love to have routine daycare here but it is a little out of the way for us on a routine basis. If a shuttle service was available, it would be a big factor in having him do daycare more often at Wag Hollywood.I personally cannot recommend this location enough. From the website, I thought the Hollywood location offered a free range room for cats as well as individual rooms. I selected the free range option and learned upon arrival that the cats were mostly in a small (5 foot tall, 4 foot wide) space and only let out to the main cat room to play on 1 cat tree ONLY if the option for “daily cuddles” was paid for as an add on.I was hoping that my cat would be allowed to be in a large room with other cats and only in a private space if needed due to behavior.I wish they treated cats like they do dogs in terms of play space.Otherwise, my cat was well taken care of and I was sent several photo updates during the week that my cat was there.I just wish there had been more space reserved for cats and that the website was clearer on the cat boarding facilities.

We have not had the best experience with boarding our 9 month- old puppy here. Our dog has stayed twice for 2-3 days at a time in the Ultra suite and the Deluxe suite. We were promised video monitoring via a Petzi cam, but had to call to obtain the link to use the camera because it was not sent to us on both occasions. Additionally, the camera is supposed to dispense treats, but we notified staff that we were unable to dispense treats using the Petzi app and were informed this was because the treat dispenser was empty. Calling the facility has been hit or miss. A majority of the time there is no answer and after leaving a voice message one has to wait 24 hours before receiving a response. All in all, we have not had a great experience and given the disorganization at this facility, I am doubtful that all of the services we paid for during our puppys stay were provided.Our puppy also came back lethargic and with upper respiratory symptoms (runny nose and sneezing incessantly) though he was up to date with all his shots including canine influenza.

This place is pretty amazing. When I first booked my dogs room it was for the ultra suite, due to the holidays the room was accidently overbooked. They offered me a different room, at which point the corporate office compensated my dogs stay. They were so amazing to her. She got to play with all the dogs, while I got to check on her from a camera. She is exhausted now that shes home. I will definitely be including her in the all month play group membership. She loved it and its nice to know she will be in great care. Thank you guys so much, Katrina will definitely be back. 😊

On April 14th - I had reservation for my dog at Wag hotel. When I got there - I was turned away because he did not have his flu shot. No-one had notified that this was a requirement and the woman behind me was also in the same predicament. I thought the last minute cancellation was sloppy management, but I worked it out and chalked it up to a one-off event.On May, 27th, I made an online reservation for July. Knowing about the flu shot requirement - I put in a note that I would be taking Toby to the vet and that I would make sure he had all of the required vaccinations.On June, 21st - I was double checking our plans and I noticed that the reservation had disappeared. I did not get a phone call or email so I chalked it up to sloppy management again, I made another reservation and called to make sure it went through.I was told the first reservation was cancelled because Toby wasnt up to date on his shots. I told the operator that we had already scheduled an appointment to get the required shots. I was then told that Toby would not be eligible because the flu shot requires a booster and it would be too late to get that in.So here I am again - left hanging.This place used to be very well run and maybe I just got unlucky a couple of times, but I wanted to post this review in case there is a pattern and to give folks a heads up.

Stay away this Hotel! Fancy but poor serviceI wish I could leave 0 star for this place.I left my beloved 1 year old dog for 3 nights at this place. I picked a premium room with camera so i can check on him. Most of the time the dog wasn’t in the room. when i called and asked they told me he was on the playroom.when i picked him up, to my surprise the dog had very little energy when he saw me and my husband after being away for a few days. I thought because he played a lot and he was tired. But the next day he didn’t improve. he was tired, yawning all the time, sleeping in a corner all day, didn’t have any desire for anything. After 3 days, I took him to the Vet to see if he is fine. we found his lips were swelled and had scars. It took 10 days and a $300 vet bills for my dog to get back to normal.I’m not sure what they did to the poor thing, maybe left him in a crate all the time, or gave him sedatives or something. Stay Away.

The new manager Christopher and his new staffs were exceptional. My puppy was only 3 months old when I left her for a weekend. I requested lots of love, caring and attention for my pup. While viewing the webcam through out the weekend I was able to observe their dedication for my puppy. I can’t even start to describe how this place is unbelievably amazing and outstanding!!Sky is a 1 year old Labrador, which I adopted in March as a puppy right after quarantine started. It was easy to take care of him when I was at home due to COVID-19, and fell in love with my little boy. Lately I started a new, very demanding, long hours job, and Sky had to stay for all day long by himself at home. He got frustrated from it and started destroying my house every time I left him all day long at home by himself as he’s a very high energy Labrador puppy who needs to be socialized and run around all day long to take all this extra energy out.At some point I couldn’t take it anymore and had to leave him in a crate until I got back from work and I got really depressed and sad because I didn’t know what to do, I didn’t want to give up on my new job, but also in the same time didn’t want to give up on Sky and send him for adoption, and I didn’t know what to do about it.My whole life has changed once I met Wag Hotel in Hollywood - I started looking for day care options in town, and was offered 2 complimentary days to try out the service completely for free, with no obligation. From the moment I stepped in, Sky and I FELL IN LOVE! I was greeted and welcomed by Mani and Zara, the supervisors of the hotel, who were super patient and friendly, and took the time to answer all of my questions and my concerns (and there were a lot!) They explained to me about the service and how it works, and made all the right adjustments for my needs. From that moment I knew I found a new second home for sky.Sky gets to play with all the other big dogs all day in the play ground, and he absolutely LOVES it! My hours of work are crazy - I have to leave early in the morning, and come back home in the late evening. None of the dog daycare I checked had convenient hours for my needs, but with Wag Hotel I’m able to drop off Sky as early as 7 AM in the morning and pick him up as late as midnight! He gets to play from the morning until the evening, in a complete safe and separated area from the small dogs, under the supervision of their caring loving staff. I feel secure to leave him there all day long and I know he is in amazing hands. They provide 24/7 service at super convenient prices, and trust me, I checked all the daycare places in Hollywood and the area - Wag Hotel by far has the cheapest fares, longest activity hours and best service I could’ve ever find! I got so excited about this place that I literally had tears in my eyes, Wag hotel took a huge concern from my head and made it possible for me to easily focus on my job - now I get to enjoy from both worlds in the same time, and provide my baby boy with the care and love he needs so bad, and all of this is for a ridiculous price! Needless to say I signed already the next day for their monthly affordable plan, which also includes free premium food, free nail trimming, and a free bath once a month!! WOW! Only for those perks I save couple of hundred dollars.If I need to, I can even leave him there 7 days a week, drop him off and pick him up any time of the day, and when all day play is over at 6 pm, he gets to rest at his private room until I pick him up. He is being fed 3 times a day and all the staff already knows him, his name, his special needs and pretty much every single things that happens with him during the day. I also get to supervise and watch him any time I want through their online cameras, which brings a smile to my face.I am so happy and grateful for finding and having this place, I didn’t ever believe such places exist for dogs, and I already told all of my friends and family about it and they were very impressed too!THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Wag Hotel for existing and providing this phenomenal service!And if you ever feel bad about leaving your pup at home by himself and need some help, please do yourself and your dog a favor and give this place a chance, you will never regret it and you wouldn’t believe how you could ever live without it!

Recently started working here and have noticed a host of caring individuals who truly care for our clients and show each dog extra special care. I dont know about the old staff but the current staff cannot be held responsible for the actions of past negligent people. Christopher is putting his all into turning the reputation of former staff around and truly cares for each and every 4 legged client that walks through our doors. Ive worked at a couple other facilities and notice that every employee cares for each dog the attention and love that any owner would appreciate. Thats something special I have not seen in other places Ive worked. I would would leave my own dogs here if I ever needed it and would not worry about the care they receive because I know they will be cared for properly. I cannot say that about any other facility I have worked for.I love working here and know that this is the best place if you want your dog to be treated the best and treated by the best!

This place offers its guests (and parents) everything & were quick to immediately reply via tele & emails. Web-Cam was great feature to check-in on kids, and you can even watch pups in play areas which is quite adorable & entertaining. They even offer a new service that provides more 1:1 individualized daily care/pampering, including a 15-minute, daily pampering/petting session & staff engagement - even talking/reading to your dog. Weve been traveling throughout California for the past year for work, & really like the Wag chain. Our info is there for each location, everyone is great with the dogs, including our little nervous guy. We love that Wag locations addre all open 24/7, so if we get back from work late or have an early morning, were dont need top worry about pickup or dropoff times.The West LA location had especially great customer service. We had a last minute work thing come up, so booked boarding the night before, then morning of, the work thing was extended. When we got to the location to check in for boarding, they were so helpful & accommodating with offer last minute changes, while being patient & kind. I really appreciated it!

Worst location and staff ever. They told me to look into medical boarding after my dog got the Lepo vaccine and went to the hospital in anticipation of boarding. There is no such thing as medical boarding. The county accept the vaccine waiver for the license and told me the boarding hospital would accept it. I guess not wag. Manny was very rude.

I love Wag!! My pup is never too stoked to go hang out with a bunch of other dogs (he’s a people doggy) but whenever I checked in on him using the doggy cam (love that I can do that here), he looked just fine, happily following around whatever wag employee was working in the small dog yard at the time. We used to take our dog to the Santa Monica location and always had a good experience there, but have started using this one due to working at home.The past two times we have picked up our dog she had noticeable cuts on her body. Both times we have talked to the staff they say that no one knows what happened and that other people were working at the time.I would like to chalk this up to bad luck or just one bad dog, but these incidents were weeks apart, so clearly there is some larger problem.I know they cant watch every dog every second of the day, but I think there should be a reasonable expectation that my dog will not be bleeding every time we pick them up.Needless to say we wont be going to this location again.

Im not sure if the 4 and 5 stars review on this site is real or fake. If you go on to Yelp in Dec review you will see the truth. these is one good review in 1/7 and I dont know why. There are also some good review before dec. I heard management changed recently and my experience was terrible with this place for my dogs stay last week. I was in tears when I was away from the dog because I was sure he was being well taken cared off. There are so many regiments and no flexibility what so ever to accommodate dogs with special needs. Front desk staff and night shift staff as very nice and friendly but not so much with the manager who says no to every single request. Camera only worked once during our 2 day stay to see my dogs. If you pay for extra care to walk your dog they only walk him (or let him out in a confined room with no grass or dirt to pee on, my dog doesnt pee indoor) they will only do it when they are done with other business. not a committed on time service for your dog. I couldt even take a quick look of my dogs room because its not an appointment for a tour (i was visitor to town and Im already there to drop off my dog. no flexibility for a 2 second peep to the room so I can have a piece of mind?) makes me feel like either they dont care how dog owners feel or have something to hide. anyway. I never spend time to complain and write review but for pet lover sake. please dont go there until they find a new manager.

Weve been customers at Wag Hollywood since before it was Wag - December 2017. Our 3 years old Rhodesian Ridgeback Knox always had a great time during all day play, and he was a hotel guest several times when we traveled overseas.Recently the play area has been very crowded with lots of energetic puppy dogs. Knox is very alpha, and he tends to correct the dogs that are too much on his face. But there was never an incident when he hurt other dogs. On the contrary, Knox is loved by all the staff at this Wag location.A few weeks ago, I had a conversation with the trainer Rachel Martin - that works at that location - about Knox trainer introducing the e-collar to correct Knox alpha behavior and how successful this method has been for us. She was appalled and said that Knox would become very aggressive if we keep using the e-collar and made a recommendation that Knox should not be allowed on the play area any longer - unless we bought training sessions with her to correct Knox behavior.We were insulted by her approach and recommendation. Knox has a history at this location and like I said, there was never an incident that could justify such harsh determination from someone that never met Knox before and look more like a punk than a dog trainer. He actually has a trainer that has been working with us from the very beginning and we trust his approach.I talked to the new manager before taking Konx in for a all day play, and she sided with the trainer - prohibiting us to bring Knox to the location.This radical decision taken by one employee that apparently needs to sell packages to justify her job went against everything we learned to expect from Wag over the years.We expected respect and consideration from the company that we trusted our beloved boy for many years and in the end we got a slap in the face. This was a frustrating and disappointing experience for us.

I will be short of words to discribe this place, negligence negligence. My sisters dog went from a healthy no prior medical history to almost dying last night!!! She was a healthy Bulldog but within 24 hours she was rushed to urgent care and emergency facility for the careless acts of the workers at this this place! Do not take your dog here you might get back to medical bills of between 450 to 5000 and or to a dead dog!!! Very sad, my sisters dog would have been better of by her self at home that at this place!!! We are hoping she will make it tru she is under medication and has problems breathing. It was a very traumatic experience even for me that Im not a Dog owner!! They get 0 stars on my book apparently there has been other issues with other bulldogs and dogs even gone missing and even death.

The Pooch Hotel is failing to take responsibility for the negligence that they exhibited. What happened to Boggs the French Bull dog was not an accident, it is NEGLIGENCE. The definition of an accident is “an unfortunate incident that happens unexpectedly and unintentionally, typically resulting in damage or injury. An event that happens by chance or that is without apparent or deliberate cause.” The definition of negligence is “failure to take proper care in doing something; failure to use reasonable care, resulting in damage or injury to another.”The Pooch Hotel failed to use reasonable and proper care when placing Boggs in a playroom with a large, aggressive breed dog, which resulted in her violent attack and death.Rather than hide, The Pooch Hotel needs to publically address this matter quickly and share their plans on how to prevent such a tragedy from occurring in the future. Petco/The Pooch Hotel needs to somehow reach Boggs’ owner and accept full responsibility for the negligence that lead to the death of this beloved pet. Not responding to this situation causes more problems for them – people do not forget these tragedies but when care, empathy, and accountability are present, with a clear plan of action for preventing this type of tragedy in the future, sometimes forgiveness is the result.Clearly, this pet facility needs better employee training, more engaged employees and effective management that actually cares about the well-being of the animals in its care. The Pooch Hotel needs to be prepared with an emergency plan for caring for injured animals and addressing public concern if and when something goes tragically wrong, as it did for Boggs.Hiding from accountability, and not accepting responsibility will destroy the reputation of this boarding facility. Where is the leadership of Petco and The Pooch Hotel?? Mistakes are made, and this mistake has cost the life of a beloved pet, and pain to the heart and soul of the owner – address her loss with respect.
