During my hunt for an attorney, I came across Wadhwani & Shanfeld. They are great people and awesome and professional attorneys. I would 100% recommend them to anyone in need of help! They are very responsive and very truthful and tell you everything you need to know before your hearing. My case was closed within 3 months as they promised me and everything went very smooth.Finally, Brenda is such an amazing person, always on top of everything and very professional. Filling for bankruptcy is daunting beyond measure, the unknown of where to start especially when you already feel helpless and overwhelmed along with who to trust with your future. My case was a challenging one. My income was not low, but I definitely needed financial relief due to pending divorce and other circumstances. In other words, I did not have a cookie cutter situation.I was referred to this office by my family law attorney. From the very beginning, I found the office very easy professional and easy to communicate with.There came a point in the process where there was additional documentation and work needed. My attorney (Greg) called me and explained the situation. I will be honest that I was frustrated, but later realized that Greg was using his experience to do the right thing on my case. And then when I got the bill for the extra work, it was deeply discounted and more than fair (fair to me, probably not the office).In the end, my debt was discharged. Im not sure that would have happened without the experience of this office.I got the sense that Greg was doing his job, but also sincerely had empathy for my situation.So, if you do not have a cookie cutter situation, and want an emphatic and very competent office, I recommend Wadhwani and Shanfeld.

I cant thank Greg Shanfeld and all of his staff enough for their wonderful help! One couldnt ask for an attorney with more expertise, as well as great people skills. He patiently walked me through the entire bankruptcy process. He was extremely helpful, compassionate, explained everything and answered all of my questions. Most importantly, he put my mind, heart and stomach to rest. It was a very scary and harrowing process, but I was in great hands. I wish I had done it sooner.

Everyone at the office was very polite & professional. Most importantly Raj was awesome. I initially made an appointment with Raj thinking that my son was going to have to file bankruptcy because I did not want creditors garnishing his Social Security check for debt he owed prior to getting on SS. Raj was up front and completely honest with us letting us know that this specific creditor cannot legally garnish his SS & that the amount my son owes is very minimal and he would not feel comfortable taking our money to file bankruptcy for such a minimal amount that cannot be garnished. He also gave us some options on steps of action we could take on getting this debt settled and/or cleared with this creditor. Raj completely went above & beyond with his information he provided us and more importantly with his HONESTY, that’s something you definitely want above anything else in a lawyer. I had a fantastic experience with this firm. Greg Shanfeld was amazing! I had gotten myself over my head in debt and made a lot of poor decisions along the way, in the last few years. I was recommended to Greg and reached out to discuss whether or not bankruptcy was good idea for me or not. He listened to me and my concerns, talked to me about what I was going to do differently to help my situation and guided me through the process. It is not something I wanted to do but so glad I did. I am very grateful to have found Greg Shanfield to handle my chapter 7 bankruptcy case. He is honest, polite, professional, goes the extra mile, does not cut corners, spends as much time with you answering your questions as you need without getting annoyed, and he is a really cool guy as well. He is a truly rare gem in a depraved world and his kindness helped me to get through my bankruptcy quickly and supported the whole way through. I got a nearly complete discharge of all my debts. The only ones which were not discharged were IRS tax debts which were too old to qualify for discharge anyway so Greg had no power over that. This was a truly 10 out of 10 experience and if you can do the bankruptcy with this law firm then do not hesitate. They will guide you from step one to done. I did not know what chapter to file and other attorneys told me the wrong Chapters in order to make more money out of me. Greg did not do that and he told me the lowest cost Chapter 7 would actually be the best for me and it was a true blessing and a miracle the way it worked out in the end. Thank god for Greg and if you are reading this call up and ask for Greg and focus on getting your life back together. Once you are with Greg the bankruptcy is taken care of, you have enough to worry about. I wish you the best.

When I started my journey finding a bankruptcy attorney I spoke with several. I chose Greg Shanfeld because he was able to listen to my unique situation and was confident he could get the job done. Most important of all is I felt able to speak freely. He was willing to conference in my brother during all conversations because I was under an extreme amount of stress and my attention level to information was low. Greg gave me a plan of action how to go about my bankruptcy and am very satisfied. Mine took longer than probably most people, but at the end of the day all you want is a successful discharge ( Greg relayed upfront my situation would call for some delays). Greg was also able to retain my liquid assets. Also, I did not live in any area of his offices and were still able to represent me. I suggest anyone in times of financial crisis to consult Greg Shanfeld: I now have a new fresh start and a thousand pounds lifted off my shoulders.

Fresh Start for me!!!! After 2-3 months of waiting, it is finally over!! If you owe anything over $40k in credit card debts, CALL these guys... But before you do, always go for a non-profit money managers to see if Bankruptcy is your only choice, in my case it is(according to 3 non-profit organization). I called them, theyve assigned me a lawyer, the lawyer will ask a lot of questions, but easy enough for you to answer. I also asked a LOT of questions, because I dont want to make mistakes. They helped me throughout the whole process.Pros:Cheaper than the other lawyers Ive asked (by roughly $500)You can deposit just $100 and hire them(but need to complete all fees to proceed the filing)Cons:Have multiple location/offices, but need to schedule an appointment (you cant just drop in the office near you (not a big deal though, for me)Overall:Excellent Outcome
