2023-06-04 16:44:07The selection of food is poor. Its almost all processed foods and by the same companies. You go to the pickle section theres like three companies for pickle choices when theres at least 50 pickle companies in Southern California. Also Vons prices are out of control now. For a large metamucil Vons charges $48 at Costco the same product is two of them for 25. The produce is equivalent to dollar store these days its very bad produce. Please see photos for proof at how bad the quality is. Spoiled, rotten, brown produce.

2022-11-29 04:58:28This Vons is wonderful. Even after the Thanksgiving rush, everything is well in stock and very organized. The people who work here are very professional and one cashier told me there are many tenured people working here, which explains how well the store is presented. I came at 8pm on a Monday and the store was nice and quiet. There are many amenities in the shopping center including a Jersey Mikes and a BofA. I highly recommend this location! Great job to the store team!

2023-02-28 04:19:24Its all because of Brent, Maria, and Sean... Yup, if you ever wonder where the good times went, you just gotta go poke your head in Vons Thousand Oaks on Avenida De Los Arnolds. If you want a song, a smile or just some good old fashioned loving care. Maria, Sean, or Brent are at your service. Tell em Ziggy sent ya.

2022-08-22 22:15:39Vons was clean and organized, but the items didnt have any type of rhyme or reason to me. I suppose once used to the store it would be easier and more convenient. The flower department sold many beautiful arrangements and plants for a fraction of what nurseries would charge and the bathrooms were easily located and clean as well. Deli was well stocked and same with the bakery.fresh single items from bakery like bagels and rolls were available for purchase as well. The store had a wide variety of items, but the staff members didnt seem too happy or wanting to be there. Overall, it was a pleasant, average experience.

2023-02-13 20:34:24Produce selection is wonderful, it is always very well stocked. If you need something it’s here. 5 starsBut here’s my problem it really is not that great of a shopping experience. It’s often “crowded” but the reality is that the isles are so narrow, and then they cram stand up displays and a card racks etc and it’s impossible for 2 people to shop down an isle. Then they restock in the middle of the day, and everyone has their carts for restocking out, and they want you to move (which is fine they are working). But it’s tooooo hectic. I cannot stop to look without 42 people saying “excuse me” because the narrow isle and display stands. Also I do not get the issue with clearance items! I got some, went through self check out (late because it’s hectic during the day) and the lady supervising it was upset I had 5 discounted items. No other people were at the self check out and she was said “next time go through the line with these. It’s just a lot of work for me to do them one by one”. No one was there, and it’s her job? Then I got more discount items another time (went through the regular line, like she said). I was just throwing everything up there and then the cashier stops and says “you need to tell me BEFORE I scan this item it’s discounted!” OMG it legit had a BRIGHT RED TAG. I can’t tell her how to scan the items, get all the items up, and bag all at once. Also the cashier argued about scanning my Kroger card for my points. Albertsons owns Vons, and Kroger bought out Albertsons. She scanned it and was like “oh I guess it does”. Yessss that’s what I was saying. So go here if you need to, but don’t buy the clearance items, cashiers are kinda rude, and have a clear idea of what you need before you go in. Get it and get out!

2023-11-23 07:52:44I love this store, I shop here frequently and everyone is always very friendly. This place also has a little secret, the sushi is AMAZING. Im not sure the gentlemens name, but hes there early in the morning till the afternoon, and he makes really good sushi. I try to get there when hes just putting the ones I like out cause when theyre fresh man its soooo good, and even after like an hour or two theyre still pretty bomb. The starbucks people are also pretty friendly. Would recommend 👍

Gotta have good PR type employees to keep your guests happy and I love shopping at my Vons because of these two and the guys in the butcher area! Thank you! Dedicated customer!

2021-07-16 08:01:46I went in to check out their selection of items on the most recent ad and was very happy to see the variety of choices that they had available. The checkout lines were fast. The particular line I got in was staffed by someone who was friendly and accurate in his job. The receipt said his name was Nathan. He is to be commended on his professionalism.
