Love the lay out of the store and the size of the parking lot the produce selection is my favorite (and the main reason I come) the staff are always courteous and friendly and the store is always very clean

I ordered a Passion Tea today like I always do and it was the worst I had. What gives? You only have on good barista and I never see her anymore. You guys need to get your training together! No longer my go to for my daily Starbucks run.

Vons has a Starbucks inside. Best of all you can use your EBT card for cold drinks in here. Open early and closes at 8pm. Vons has good club prices in some foods. But I have to be honest, bigger clubs have even better yet prices and amounts. Other than that there in lots of parking here.

I used to stop by this Vons location almost daily to get a Starbucks coffee and a Breakfast Croissant from the deli department. Lately all I get is my Starbucks coffee and the team of Starbucks employees are awesome. Unfortunately the deli department is a hit or miss every time. Most of the employees are awesome like Cynthia and Juan and Carol. They usually make a great breakfast sandwich. The problem is half the time they dont have the ingredients in stock to make a sandwich. They generally are out of stock of croissants or are out of stock of eggs. I fully understand if its once in a while but its almost every other day that they are out of these items. The other issue is some of the new employees dont even know what a croissant is. As funny as that sounds they look confused when I ask for a Breakfast Croissant which is on their menu. Normally I would give this a 1 star, however because some of the team member go out of their way to provide excellent customer service I will leave it at a 4. Please coach some of the new team members what a croissant is and to the supervisor of the department, please partner with the bakery department to ensure that you have the proper ingredients to be able to fulfill a menu item on your menu. Thanks.

Vons is always a good experience. I shop there because the meats are always excellent, the produce is fresh and in good condition. (It als lasts longer than produce from other stores) The staff is always pleasant and helpful. I have requested help when I have large orders to fill (like 20 cases of water) the staff is always willing to help me pull the order and take it to my vehicle. I really appreciate that!! Try that at one of the other discount stores...

They do have the best quality produce and a great quality meat selection however they do have quite high prices. Thats the only negative thing I can say about the only negative thing I can say savemart to has good quality meat and produce but they still are not as high as once Im not sure why they dont lower their prices just because I do know that a majority of the people that are shopping at other places like save Mart would love to go there because they are pretty much on an equal playing field when it comes to the quality of items they have, they just need to take in consideration inflation and how much the average American can actually afford!But other than that I thoroughly enjoy the producer and I also appreciate how nice all the workers are!

Vons is cool . They have everything you could want and specialty items you won’t find at this stores quality elsewhere. They have beautiful flowers but the florist is rude and will not help you .Fast forward . It’s now December 2023 . A year since my last review of this Vons . The florist is still rude and charges cash if you would like her assistance or she will not assist you . The flowers are beautiful but the prices go up 10 times regular price on holidays . Price gouging at it’s finest.The bakery sucks . You won’t find fresh bakery goods here ever . And early birds won’t find anything here . It’s past 8 am and the bakery has a closed sign on the counter . Our surprise morning donut before school idea failed .I thought donuts were a guarantee early in the morning . Not here . But the deli wasn’t closed .

I shop for customers orders here almost everyday. The store is always clean and organized. The staff is very helpful if you need help to find anything. The chicken is cooked fresh everyday as well as bakery items. If you are wanting a cake you need to go early because most are gone after 5pm. This is my favorite Vons for all these reasons but mostly because of the employees! They are the best. They always have a smile even when the store is super busy and they’ve had a long day!

The deli dept has gone downhill with employees who fail on simple instruction on an order. There is a few good ones but alot not so good with attitude problems. Gave several chances even dealt with a manager for replacement order and it still was not accurate. Tired of wasting money looking for quality and not getting it here.

This locations customer service is pretty good. The associates are all courteous and helpful. They have quite a lot of different variety in their products that you wont find in the larger grocery stores. The only thing that could be improved is the bakery. One of my favorite things to buy from this location was their donuts. Just a year ago I would have said to anyone that would listen that their donuts are among the best in all of Fresno. Lately, I dont know if they changed baker, ingredients, preparation method, or all of the above but the donuts are just not good anymore. The dough seems different and the donuts are so greasy that you just cant finish them. I will continue shopping at this place because they have a lot of good items and good customer service but definitely not buying donuts any time soon.

My review is based on the bakery department. It’s horrible. In May I needed a white cake for my daughter. The lady in the bakery told me a certain cake was white. I even asked if she was sure because their was on area on the cake that was dented and it looked like the cake was maybe chocolate. She said with a little attitude I know what cake is what. So I trusted her and purchased that cake. However, the cake was chocolate and my daughter was very disappointed. Then today we saw a tres leches cake at the same Vons. It was horrible, it tasted like corn bread. The cake was so dry and disgusting. Tres leches cake is supposed to be very moist with a creamy taste. This cake was not moist at all, the only place that was moist was the very bottom of the cake. It’s as if they poured the milk mixture to the bottom of the pan and then put the dry cake in the pan, where’s your suppose to soak the cake in the mixtures by pouring it on top after poking a few holes in the cake. If the bakery doesn’t know how to make this cake then they shouldn’t butcher it and make this inedible knockoff. I then went to my local store and bought some ingredients to make my family the tres leches cake because no one in their right mind would have served this cake to their family.

Vons is my favorite store. I love shopping everything. They have specialty items I cant find in other stores. And their employees are always nice and happy to help . Its clean and always stocked . I drive around 40 miles round trip. My husband loves there fried chicken.😋 atmosphere is just wonderful to. No hurrying or getting pushed around. Relaxing clean place to shop. I LOVE this Vons! So why not 5 stars??? Well, first and foremost, the parking lot has several homeless people. Theres even the permanently parked, old-school-trashy-lookin RV thats always in the same parking stall...Filled with homeless folks. Im not hating on the homeless, but they leave trash on the ground...beg for money...& go into Vons & shoplift...Raising the prices for the rest of us. I wish retailers would do more to protect the homeless (by encouraging them to find REAL shelter)...And have some security that would discourage the littering, drinking, and begging for money. YES...This is California and our government has forsaken the homeless. BUT...Retailers have to do their job, too!

Went to Vons at KC and Clovis for two items before 7:30 AM, brownies and butter which was $7.49 lb on Sale! Outragous. After seeing empty shelves for brownies, had to greet the bakery employee three times, just to be recognized. Maybe music during business hours is distracting the employees? After she turned her back to face me, she was zero help, just IDK answers about brownies. Total, yet small amount of wasted time. Left empty handed and dissatisfied. This visit didn’t deserve a single star.

The store is clean and some of the staff is nice but twice I went shopping got my items, had them rang up and then computer issues and I could not buy my items. Twice the manager (two different ones) treated me like it was my card or I didnt have enough money. When in fact I did have money in my account. The first time I brushed it off as a fluke and just one rude manager but this second time she talked to me like I was lying. It was how they handled THEIR computer or terminal issues that had me upset. I will not be back, like they care but still all I can do is not spend money there.BAD MANAGEMENT 👎

The outside may not be very enticing, but the inside is nice and tidy. Theres a Starbucks here too, so thats a plus for us coffee drinkers; and they have a little sitting area for people who just want to come in, get a drink, and chill for a bit. The prices here are competitive with most grocery stores so no complaints there.

I’m not sure why meth is still employed here I grabbed a Starbucks cup that had a 50% off sticker when lots of them had the sticker and he laughed and shouted to the next register saying look at this fake sticker . The other cashier laughed and said yeah that’s not from this store announcing to over 15 people in line that I was putting fake clearance labels on cups. He then took the cup from me acting like I was going to steal it and refused to let me have it back I went to the Starbucks count and the girl said they NEVER clearance cups which is a lie. It’s all over social media vons has clearances their cups because they have high inventory. She had clearance stickers on her arm because she rushed to take them off. I spoke to the Starbucks manager the following morning and she said that should have never happened the cup was on sale. Their behavior was UNACCEPTABLE!

Well I dont know what kind of security they have, but it doesnt work. So if you are in to thieving or stealing this is the place for you. This morning 7-31-22 I was in to get sodas and ice as I was leaving the store when this man ( cause he had a beard) just walked out carrying 2 gallon of Jack Daniels whiskey, walked passed everyone, only people to say something, myself and smaller lady walking in as he was walking out. I said to my wifeWOW look what were watching and the lady said hey your not supposed to be doing that, was great way to start my day off...Moved up from 1 ⭐ to 3 ✨ because of the great morning they gave us.

Always clean and well lit. They need more checkers or they need to install self-serve checkout. The lines are RIDICULOUS if you go after work. They never have more than 2 regular lanes open at once and there are 5 and 6 customers deep waiting with full baskets. It takes me 30 minutes to get home and my groceries have gotten warm after waiting in line for 15 minutes.

Love that they have a star bucks inside. FYI, for those that dont know, they accept EBT for Cold Drinks at the Starbucks including there cakepops or anything that isnt warm or hot. These pictures are for all the drinks I got today. Open early and closes at 8pm (Starbucks). Cons: call before you go buy any drinks because sometimes they are out of some drinks or even whip cream. Vons is a great place to shop, many good deals. Only thing is that sometimes Bigger Clubs are cheaper for sure, but Im pretty sure you guys know that by now if you shop here.

I guess I have something of an unnecessary expense bias. Vons is expensive. I went there this time to purchase a single item which was a challenge to find. I had to ask two times if I was in the right path. I have to say this but Walmart and probably several others has a map of their stores that is available on your phone so you can type in what youre looking for and Ill tell you where its at. I suspect these grocery stores could afford to do the same after all theyre charging enough.

Not sure why the guy couldnt hear me saying he is doing a very thick French manicurecause my natural nails have a long base and my fingers look like dwarf fingers. I finally was able to communicate about the french smily line which was the only good thing but then they kept saying I have said perfect to the thickness. These aside, all nails had a white line right after he applied the clear cote and he didnt even want to fix them saying its ok. No its not ok, it wasnt my first time getting French manicure, and I always highlight about skinnier white tip... anyways, he cleaned the spots on several fingers and forgot to put a clear cote ... if you are booked or simply dont like to work, dont waste others time and money. Glad I dont live in the area and I dont have to visit the place as only salon in morro area ...smh!Wouldnt recommend but visit at your own risk.

We actually live across town from this store. We do not have a Vons near us. The closest ia at Nees. Quite a ways away for daily groceries. I gave 4 stars because some things are great, but others need to be better. This is the store my twin sister would shop at (in her area) I came here for her. The flower area is big, they offer a good variety and they are super helpful. The meat (that I needed to buy) was $5/pack than my area Save Mart!! (Herndon/Milburn) My son needs to eat organic/free range for his dietary restrictions and its pricier already to buy, than regular packs, but Vons did me no favors being $5/pack MORE from here for the same size and weight I would have bought from my store any day. So, improving that would be helpful. Overall, Id rather shop for daily groceries at Save Mart. I would save money.

Only reason for the revisit is because my brother went to the wrong store and brought home some freezer burnt chicken that I insisted on returning. Since I was there have the store another chance. There is a deli, floral dept., extensive selection of pet needs, vitamins & supplements, grocery orders with pick up and delivery. Cleanest, largest, most friendly supermarket I think I have ever encountered. Easy to find in a great neighborhood. Free ample parking. No large lines. You will be pleased.

The pharmacy is good except their phone texting notifications for the medications never work and one older lady that works the counter in pharmacy needs to have better costumer skills. She needs to acknowledge when customers are there waiting in line with at least a Ill be with you in a minute or say something not just let you stand there as minutes pass like your being ignored, then when she does talk shes not friendly at all and comes off as rude. I can not remember her name but she shoukdnt be working at the counter dealing with costumers in my opinion unless she can impove with her customer skills. Overall I love this Vons 😊

Not the best maintained VONS Ive been to. We get blackberries regularly and the last several times weve gotten them, theyve been rotten on arrival. The lottery machine was down and it said see a cashier, but the cashiers had no idea what to do. Then we got frozen beef patties, and they were completely rotten like they were defrosted for more than 24 hours and re-frozen. This is all within a 1 month time span. But its mostly clean and staff is friendly for the most part.

Very good selection with both a deli, with hot and cold lunch and snack options, and bakery that makes things fresh daily you shouldnt have an issue finding anything youre looking for. A small Starbucks is located inside for convenience as well as a pharmacy in the rear of the store. Surrounding parking lot does have some vagrancy problems but nothing that should deter you from this location.

Expensive but good store— Vons is a high quality food store in the Clovis area- on the outskirts of Fresno California. It features Starbucks and an Amazon Zither Locker. While I gave it only 3 stars— I did so because not all of Fresno-area residents can afford their prices. Tragically, its high end produce and meat products should not be limited to the well-off. Whoever drew that red line in the sand that gave Fresno residents its lack of choices—is a distorted and distant memory.

Pharmacy is very uneducated about covid vaccines and covid booster shots. Didn’t have my insurance card with me and the pharmacist didn’t want to give me a covid shot and said I needed it to get the booster shot. I told her she was wrong and she tried to argue back and forth with me. Then she asked me to pull out my vaccine card. I pulled out my digital card with the QR code and she didn’t want to take it at first. I was able to defend myself because I know this topic well. Imagine if someone didn’t speak English or know the rules of getting a vaccine and was denied? I wouldn’t doubt that she turned away people in the past. I can’t tell if she was doing it on purpose or she didn’t actually know.

Neat easy too find foods that I was looking for there . isles were all very clearly marked. easy too spot, and read. Overall the workers seamed very knowledgeable wjith where all of the stores different types off foods could be found. I didnt have too look long to find help.They got me threw checkout fast and when offered to help me get my suff too the car were the white guy with shoulder length light brown to blondish colored hair put away my groceries inCar without crouching my eggs or smashing my bread.I know it almost sounds too far fetched but overall it was a really good experience I even got everything that I went for, first time too.

I was there to go drop off prescription and there was this lady ahead of me at the register. The side for prescription drop off was closed so while the gentleman behind the register was charging the lady for a medicine I asked him if he was closed. No I am still open but I am taking care of her right now I will answer to you when I am finished. After dropping off my prescriptions I went to get some bread and came back the medicine was ready I asked if I could pay for the bread in which he took the bread and tried to scan it hopefully he started to rough handle a loaf of fresh french bread. I do believe this was he pharmacist but he had no official name tape from Cons just a hello my name is name tape was his name scribbled on it.

The Vons near my home closed down due to the opening of Walmart (my most hated store) that was a sad day for our old fig neighborhood. Vons in my opinion is our local Whole foods. Vons has great happy workers, prime produce, delicious bakery & deli, and great selection of hard to find items. Anyone living in this area should patronize this great store. If your vegan they have a good selection of items.

I love going to Vons and this is the first time someone was ever rude to me. Ive had a long day today, literally my dog passed away and 5 days earlier another one had passed Ive been so done... a lady at the bakery today couldnt even write happy birthday on a cake for me because she said the cake didnt have a flat surface. Im not one to cause a scene so I first explained Ive gotten that same type of cake and never had an issue with people writing something on it...and she kept saying they dont do it there and they cant do it.... so I just said okay thanks and went my way. But really she didnt have to be rude about it, she just wanted to clock off because as soon as I walked away she turned everything off... she was even rude to a little kid trying to buy a cookie! Like who does that?! If you hate your job so much or hate working with people look for something else.. because today just completely finished ruining my day its already bad enough I had to lose my dogs, so thanks lady, thanks for the icing on the top of a crummy cake..

My family had to hold me back from throwing a 24 pack of Diet Coke at that horrible waste of air broad named Kelly. First glance of her I immediately got the vibes that she grew up lower class, very bitter soul, poor vocabulary and social skills and did anyone pick up on this little girls dank breath? There’s no excuses for not brushing your teeth and combing your hair before work, especially when she’s got a full selection of minty options right near her. Sad when a person disregards their personal hygiene. Thank god Vons gave this poor chica a chance when nobody else would.

Way over priced! $12 per pound for deli Turkey? Thats more than double what a premium 3 muscle deli turkey sells for at the nearby Winco. Produce is 200%-300% more expensive than other stores in the area sell the same exact products for. Express lane was anything but that, 1st lady couldnt count and had 35 things in here cart. Next lady wouldnt wear a mask so shouldnt even be there then didnt have her card and needed to enter 3 phone numbers before one would match, then questioned the prices on everything she bought, then wrote a check but tore the edge and it wouldnt take it then had to write another one that took a Manager to approve. I would give it negative stars if I could. I used to shop here and dealt with the crowded lines, poor customer service and unenthused work staff. But then I was double charged for a purchase I made here. And instead of fixing the issue immediately, the store manager had passed my off to the assistant manager and had me wait for over 30 minutes just to call my bank and yeild no results.
