I stopped by this Vons store while waiting for a pizza place across the street to open. I wanted to get some flour tortilla and salsa for when I make quesadillas so it worked out. I prefer parking at this Vons over where the pizza place is at because it has a private lot. I found my tortilla easily but I didnt find the salsa I wanted so I got another brand. There a Starbucks inside this Vons but they dont have a lot of options for drinks. This Vons also has a self checkout station but there only like 5 station. The line was backing up so I went to a cashier station after they open a new one since they saw the line. The employees are nice and approachable it you need help.

This Vons Branch is excellent for the most part, with reasonable prices, efficient check out pace, a wide variety of products, and some staff members who are highly skilled. That being said, I will never shop at this store again. After I paid for my groceries, was handed a receipt, and was leaving, a cashier named Miguel took out some containers of spices from the plastic bag to count them. In the process, he pulled out my avocados, causing the skin to rip. He then threw the avocados back into my cart. When I asked to speak to the manager, he claimed to be the manager. Im extremely shocked and disappointed. Furthermore, my aunt, who was in line behind me, noticed that the counters and scanners were filthy. She also noted that even during the pandemic, they did not clean the counters and scanners like other grocery stores do. Without making an assumption or judgement, my aunt respectfully asked Miguel how often the counters/ scanners are sanitized. He paused, took a deep breath, looked @ his watch, & said, seriously? My aunt kindly informed Miguel that she no longer wanted any of her groceries. In response, Miguel, who was acting as the manager, became upset and started cursing in Spanish. Within a minute, he was red-faced and yelling at my aunt. Thankfully, we decided to leave. Long story short: we had returned to LA to visit our family and came to this Vons store, where we grew up, only to face this disaster. We felt unwelcome and ignored. The customer service in this store is severely lacking, which reflects poorly on the management, specifically Miguel in this case. I wonder who hired such rude individuals. In customer service, it is essential to always be friendly. Ignorant, dishonest, rude, baseless, and disrespectful behavior is intolerable, especially when one party is giving more (money) than the other. This store has lost not only my business but also my familys. Please note that I cannot be certain of his name because he was wearing a buttoned shirt over his Vons uniform, which covered his name tag completely. His name tag was not on his Vons cap/hat, and when I politely asked for his name, he refused to provide his first name. However, another worker secretly disclosed that his name is Miguel.

I have never left a grocery store feeling genuinely happier because of the staff inside of it, until I started coming here. Everyone that I encounter at this location is always friendly and helpful, going above and beyond at every opportunity. 10/10- love this Vons!

Ons Supermarket offers a decent shopping experience, but theres room for improvement. The store carries a wide variety of products, from fresh produce and meats to pantry staples and household items. The selection is generally good, and you can find most of what you need for your daily shopping.The store layout is logical and easy to navigate, making it relatively simple to find what youre looking for. The cleanliness of the store is satisfactory, and the shelves are usually well-stocked.The staff at Vons are generally friendly and willing to assist. However, their knowledge about specific products and their locations within the store can sometimes be lacking. This can make it difficult to find certain items, especially if theyre not in their usual place.The main issues that lead to a three-star rating are the long checkout lines and inconsistent product availability. During peak hours, the lines can be quite long, and there arent always enough cashiers to handle the volume of customers. This can make the shopping experience less than pleasant, especially if youre in a hurry.Additionally, while the store generally has a good selection of products, there are times when popular items are out of stock. This can be frustrating, especially if youve made a special trip to the store for a specific item.

I’m so glad Vons is there! They have hot soup, Starbucks etc .. always easy parking in a great location for errands. CVS, Fed ex, etc They have flowers and a decent wine selection. They always have good fruit and produce. Friendly service.

Vons (and their big brother Pavillions) are very big fish in a very big pond. They combine excellent service, competitive prices, and home delivery in a beautiful ballet of food supply. Here in Los Angeles, that is quite a statement to make. If you are lucky enough to reside with one nearby, you know youve made it; and, if you make it here... well, you know the rest.I love my VONS. So, live, love, and eat, baby.

Vons Studio City is a great place for late night shopping and the lines at check out are almost non existent and some of the guys know how to bag your stuff...theyre pretty good too.

I always loved shopping at this particular location, but Im not sure whats happened in the year that I was out of state helping a friend. The staff is still friendly in the morning when I go in for my coffee before work, BUT after working 12 hours when I return at night to grab a milk or something else the cashiers are rude to me. All but 1 has treated me like dirt and looks at me like Im a bug. No good evenings, no total, no nothing. Just acts like Im not there. I dont know what I did to deserve to be treated like this, but Im more than happy to spend my money elsewhere.

Once a week I get a sandwich from the deli here for lunch. The deli staff is always nice, attentive, and carefully construct the sandwich so you never get a messy, hard to hold one which I really appreciate. Despite how full the shared parking lot is, its usually not too busy mid day and check out is fast and easy.UPDATE: Unfortunately less than a month after I posted this they have inexplicably decided to remove the deli. They now only have a small selection of premade sandwiches that are a pale version of the ones the staff made to order.
