Every time when I come in the afternoon the butcher DO NOT want to cut anything than what they put out for display. The whole reason I come to this Vons is because they used to cut steaks to my liking, I like them thick 1 1/2- 2 inches thick the quality was really good, these 2 that work in the afternoon, they are either lazy, or lack customer service skills, just not the quality I got used to the past 3-4 years, highly disappointed as of late. I dont even want to waste my time to come here, I have the money to spend, sadly I have to find another store.

It is a very bad and scary place!!!I am a doordash driver. I went on 3/21 and I had an order for alcohol and it was inside a locked cupboard. So I went to the line at the cashier. After my turn came, there was a problem and he left us all waiting for a long time. After he came back, I showed him the order I had. He went and brought me the wrong item and I told him this is not what I want. He told me this is all we have, so I asked him to wait five seconds until I checked with the customer if I could change the order, but he started pointing at me with his hand in a very bad way and telling me to go from here and stand in line again. After that, the supervisor came and he started cursing me and shouting at me and all this is recorded on the cameras and in front of all people. He told her something that I did not hear, and she told me that I am not a respectable person and they will not sell me anything today, I went to another cashier, but she told me that the supervisor told her that shes not allow to sell me anything, so I had to cancel the order and leave because they had gathered against me like gang and none of them wanted to help me. Its really scary place!!!

We shop here frequently and theyre usually pretty good. Its a small store so they dont stock certain staples in our house like low-sodium tamari sauce, which is a bit disappointing, but they have most things we need. The prices and quality of the items have been reasonable enough to keep us coming back.We had one recent concern regarding an employee bagging raw meat with other raw, cold food items (that are usually eaten raw) without putting the raw meat in a separate bag to prevent contamination as recommended by standard food safety practices. We spoke to the very kind and understanding manager who refunded the contaminated items and promised to re-educate her staff, so were happy they made us whole and took advantage of the situation as a teaching moment.I would probably bump my rating to 5 stars if they stocked low-sodium tamari sauce.

It seems like Vons and their App and “U-Deals” don’t sync up very well. I shopped there recently and picked 10/$10 items. Got home, the discount didn’t show on my receipt. Okay, I message their LiveChat Agent they get deep into it…we can’t help you visit the store. Tried calling they said come when you can. Fine. Ok. Visit the store this evening and yes the cashier made that right, but also told me I need to verify this info the same day. Huh? Ok. I have three kids I’m busy they pull at my arms etc. Get home and the U-Deal for neither produce nor bakery items was applied for this evening’s trip even though I clipped them and scanned my card through the App. That’s not good. Something’s up. Wasting my time using their App, browsing their App, and getting passed around. Do better Vons.

A solid Vons with good produce, large isle and good stock. The service here is personable and majority of staff is super helpful. Good health and safety practices... really stepping it up in 2020.

Definitely prefer this Vons to the one in Tarzana as far as the layout and the somewhat friendliness of the Team Memebers.I was really surprised at the low energy customer service during checkout. Nobody want a production but they kind of just threw everything in a bag and forgot to give me my monopoly tickets. The third time its happened in the last few years of coming here on and off.The produce is decent, not the best price but definitely a-okay quality. Most things are usually replenished and available. A few vegetarian and vegan items have been added and a few rotated out.Highly recommend Sahale Nuts during checkout for a snack usually $1.50 with vons card and the fruit bowls (especially the pineapple, 8oz I believe) are pretty enjoyable.Parking is what it is shared with a huge plaza of neighboring businesses.

My family went to Vons on 3/18 morning at 9:30am. The black male customer was complaning something to the white male manager at the entrance and they suddenly started to fight. They both looked really scary and didnt care about other customers.

Good selection, well kept store. The checkout aisles are a bit claustrophobic. Decent prices of you use the store cars and shop sales.

It was crowded but they have enough self service express payment,one of the attendants helped me to find what I was looking for l.she was efficient and knowledgeable
