My local go to grocery store. Its got most things I need and is constantly stocked. Its cool how theres a Pokémon merch machine in the store now. Though last time I went it was down for maintenance. Self checkout line is quick. Starbucks in the store. There are restaurants and shops around in the same plaza and the Monrovia Night Market is just down the street on Friday evenings. Plenty of parking.

Rented a Truck from Tony Domio this morning and at the crack of dawn. This guy (Mr. Patient) I had mad issues but not only was kind and understanding but made sure my truck was perfectly checked over and he instructed and showed features and cleaned the windows and mirrors. Wait wait wait he checked, added oil, wind shield fluid, and then set my timer on the truck. Ok, Home Depot renter for months and this dude is on the ball. June 11, 2024.A woman is walking the parking lot with a trash can to clean up the trash. Great. Now how about emptying the trash cans by the front doors that are over flowing? Nice store, produce, and organization. Used to be a bit faster on checkout but the checkers are not getting support from baggers lately. I saw a bagger in my line put 1 whiskey bottle in a bag for a customer then disappear for my full cart. I helped out and got a big thank you from the checker.

I wish I could give zero stars! There was an employee which we believe was the “manager” who knows. He was just following us around the store. Today, 04/23/2033, this employee was a white guy with glasses and wearing a stripes shirt. Of course, he would be following us because we look Mexican. We were at the salad bar and he would not stop following us. He was racially profiling us. We felt so disrespected. We went to self check out. We paid for our stuff. I can always go back and show him our receipt. We can view camera footage if he would like. This is the worst Vons ever because of that guy. Completely racist. I wouldn’t be surprised if the news came to your location for this racist experience. The lady from the salad bar was the nicest person ever. Vons should replace that “manager guy” with that lady from the salad bar. We are completely upset from our experience at this location.

There was a long line at the checkout and there was only one check out line open at about 9:50 PM. The manager was just standing at the self check out and didnt do anything. When it was my turn for check out, I asked the person why they couldnt open another line to make the check out process faster, and her response to me was a clear NO, they cant do that.Well you know what, if you say no, I wont come back here shopping again.

A typical market in the USA. Fresh veggies and fruits, milk and eggs, meat, and bakery line the edges of the market. The middle aisles carry everything from frozen fruits, ice cream, kids snacks, cereals, soups, kitchen products, cleaning products, and birthday cards, to name a few things.A pharmacy is in the rear of the store, between the meat counter and fresh produce.The bakery makes fresh bread, cakes, bagels, and cookies.There is a meat counter with pork, beef, chicken, marinade carne asada, shrimp, crab legs, lobster tails, and fish.At the entrances, you will also find a flower area and balloons or ready prepared meals like sandwiches and baked chicken. There is also a food counter to get deli meat or various salads made daily. Other options include tri tip, fried chicken, chicken strips, chicken wings, and potato wedges. Service was decent. No one was rude. But no one went out if their way to say hello or assist. The worker behind the meat counter was pleasant. Their selection of produce and seafood limited. The frozen vegetable selection was also extremely limited (I was only looking for peas and carrots). Overall, the food price is high. Its good for a really basic store run. I will probably return due to proximity.

Well I like this store because it has a lot procucts, its clean well organized the people its friendly, helpful. But its pricey I come to shop here like 1 or 2 times a month only for the specialty food (sea food, preserved meats like ham, sausages etc.) In that even its kind of pricey its worth it. They have good quality products. Im sorry not give the 5 stars, but in this moments the $ it has to be spend carefully. (Well thats in my case ok).

Manufacturers are just doing what they need to do to absorb some of the cost of inflation. I really wish our government would quit destroying the value of our own currency… I don’t know how much longer we can go like this, printing and burning money - Or who in the F we actually owe all this money to? Was sitting at my desk trying to work and was so hungry I couldnt concentrate. Too early for supper. Went to Vons, got pre-packaged delis sandwiches for the teen boys (theyre always hungry) and sushi rolls for me and my roommate. Always pleased with the deli counter. It doesnt let us down. 😃On an unrelated note, if youre wondering wheres the Sriracha with the rooster on the label?, a supply issue shortage on the part of Huy Fong foods. 😥 Nobody has it right now. 😱

Im assuming its not the stores fault, but availability of products is shoddy at best. Egg case was totally empty, not a single egg for sale. Baby Formula is always low. Their own brand of pizzas has gone from an entire freezer case to less than half of one. How much of this is due to Bidens economy/supply chain is anyones guess, but shelves were overflowing with stock under Orange Man Rad

One star for the December 9 8am - 12 pm delivery that remains undelivered while marked as past. When asking customer service they confirm the order was never completed, it was never followed up on, and the only option I have is to re-order the past undelivered items, or to have the items refunded. (And neither of those allow re-use of the one time coupon I used. ) Very very poor service as far as the actual delivery and follow-through capacity. Not worth it.

My friends and I went into the story today to look at makeup and as we were looking the manager kept looking at us and we got creeped out and as we were walking out of the store feeling uncomfortable the manager followed us out and accused me of stealing makeup. I told her I didn’t and we were just looking but the manager said that she she had seen me slipping something in my pocket and I told her I didn’t slip anything in my pocket and that she could check and then she proceeded to say that she saw me put something in my sweater but my sweater was wrapped on the side of my back pack so there was no way I could’ve put something in there and then she said she had seen me put something in my backpack and I told her she had every right to check my backpack and that I gave her permission to because I knew she wouldn’t find anything and that I didn’t steal anything. I called costumer service and the manager was very rude. I felt disrespected and falsely accused of stealing something. This manager was not well trained at her job and should be watched so this does not happen to another person. I was hoping to file a complaint with the call to customer service but I just got even more disrespected and I felt as if because I was a kid she felt I didn’t have an opinion and could not voice myself.

Even this store is expensive I like the coffee creamers they sell here, they have a good variety and lot of flavors, and from time to time I buy some seafood, sandwich meats and breads. What a waste.Vons has some of the best bakery items. Their cakes, breads, pastries, and bagels are always fresh and delicious. They have such a large variety of fresh made things to choose from. One of my favorites is the Asiago cheese bagel. I often use their bagels to make a veggie sandwich. I also love their Susan cookie that has a generous dollop of chocolate fudge on it. They’re so buttery and good. If you haven’t tried one yet, you definitely should.

Love this store, i come here all the time as it is so close to where i live. Great location, friendly staff, amazing products. The store closes at 11, which gives you enough time to geť everything on your shopping list crossed. Im giving this place 4 stars because there are times i have to bag gorceries myself,and when a person is paying, and suposse to be bagging everything up it can be a bit frustrating when a nother customer is being checked out, but that doesent happen to often, formthe most part they got everything covered. Including packing up your gorceries.

I love this stores deli section. I bought a round of camembert, and alouette spread, with those delicious Wellington garlic and herbs water crackers. I love their salads and sandwiches. They dont skimp on anything. The store is always clean and picture perfect. Whenever Im in Monrovia, I make a stop here, or the Blaze Pizza place a couple doors down.

From the pharmacy to the deli this Vons is superb and the staff is incredibly helpful and cheerful all the time and The Butchers at the counter are always willing to help you with a specific cut of meat 2 Trim it or to cut it fresh for you or even to grind a roast into hamburger for you. Its hard to describe my experience here because its not necessarily a normal shopping trip but im rating this place two stars based on a few factors. It gets those two stars because it is clean and well stocked but it loses three based on the fact that three different employees couldnt even help me find the condiment isle, they didnt sell me my beer because they said my temporary id signed by the dmv was invalid even though i use it all the time, and to add insult 2 injury they accuse me of loitering when i was outside waiting for my ride for 30 minutes. Over all it was an infuriating degrading experience that makes me never want to come back again and inspired me to wright this long winded message.

It’s not the pavilions that was there for years. Mass marketing at its worst. Variety of fresh produce has diminished. Gone are all the specialty items they once carried. It’s also gotten to be very expensive compared to other grocery stores in the area.I will give kudos to the staff as they are all friendly, helpful and apologetic when staples aren’t in stock.

As far as a big chain grocery store goes this one is not bad. Sure you might find it cheaper else where but you can find most things here. The alcohol section has some craft-ish beer and the wine selection is better than most (they have some delicious Paso wines) as well as a selection of top shelf whiskey. Gluten free section seems to be stocked, more than I am accustomed to seeing anyway. Most importantly, the folks are friendly. But what do you think? Write your review!

Prices are too high even for sale items you must buy 3 to 5 of a certain category to get sale price. Staff not particularily helpful in licating specific items.Got charged regular price for sale items despite handing the cashier their own advertisement, item circled and ad was still valid. Had to seek a manager to get over $6 in refund. Check your receipts before laving premises....no apologies offered by staff...as if this is a frequent occurance.

Local grocery store. Good deli and bakery. Red Box and atm near entrance. Pretty much always very clean Generally I can find what I want. The staff is always helpful, which is a top reason that I continue to shop here. I couldnt find a half-gallon of half and half, so the let me buy 2 quarts at the half-gallon price. If something is not on the shelf, anytime Ive asked, someone will stop what theyre doing and look in the back for it.

This is my weekly grocery store run. For Flu Season every year if you have insurance they give you the shot for free. But even better than that you get a 10% coupon to use on your purchases of groceries. Luke in the Liquor Department will help you select whatever you are looking for, beer, wine or hard liquor. He is very knowledgeable. While all of their staff is good I like Sandy, who works on Sunday. Even though she is a USC fan, Go, Bruins, she makes the whole check out experience more enjoyable. Parking is free and in front of the store.

Been here twice. Both times I found items expired (meat,dairy), rotten fruits and vegetables. Mold on most of them. Was looking for apple pie. Then I found some baked goods with damaged plastic packaging. All these finds were not hard or am I zooming in crazy to look for these. Only zooming in I did was checking for expiration dates. I will not be returning here or recommends anyone shopping here without paying attention to the items youre putting in your shopping cart.

The two times that I have had to contact the store the customer service has been horrible !! The first time I went into the bakery because their ad said they did picture cakes. Staff said the machine was down when I try to find out when it would be working so that I can come back I got 3 different stories. One girl said it worked but no one had been trained yet. Thats a lot different than saying the machine is broken. When I asked to speak to the manager somebody else got on the line and pretended to be the manager. Who does that?! The second time I called meat department to ask if there was a contact for the barbecue crew outside and he said service desk and help me with that. I have to call the main number 6x before I got someone to answer the phone and then they said they couldnt reach the barbecue crew. I asked if I was speaking to the manager and he said yes, so I told him the meat department transferred me to them he said okay and just hung up on me. For this type of customer service to happen to me on the only two times I call gives them less than a one-star.

I went last Sunday. I bought fresh food from various departments of the store. When I got home and started checking expiration dates I realized everything I bought was EXPIRED! The bread, sushi, meat, dinners to go from the deli area, fruit, etc. I called and spoke a manager. His attitude is buyer beware and shop at your own risk! --Just go some where else. This has to be one of the most overpriced grocery stores Ive ever been to. They have items here that are so expensive, you could probably go to Walmart or ANY other grocery store and get the same stuff for a fraction of the price. And their bathrooms are absolutely horrible. They stink and theyre dirty. They never have paper towels or soap. Who wants to use a bathroom that homeless people use and not be able to wash their hands?

My only grip about this place is that there are NEVER enough check out cashiers. There are ALWAYS customers waiting in line which stretch out to the middle of the store and it gets a lil tight for customers to pass each other due to shopping carts. Right now 2 registers are openned with about 10 people in each line. It just should take 10 people per line to open a new register. Other than that, its a good store. Maybe take up a threes-a-crowd or no-more than-four campaign or slogan.Oh...here comes a 3rd cashier!

Management at this location caters to Covid deniers. Lets leave this store for all those people who dont believe in Covids harm to the community. I think it is better that way. They can keep this location. Drive fathers and go to the one in the Burlington Plaza in Arcadia.Manager basically told a customer this when she expressed her concern that multiple people were shopping without a mask even though it is a health regulation.

Hugh selections. Friday is fried chicken day. Their delivery service however is a hugh scam. Your order WILL be substituted and (unlike Wallmart) charged a higher price for the substitution. Its really close to bait (on sale items) and switch (off sale items.) You may end up with less and paying more. Where Wal-Mart doesnt do that. They substitute a higher priced item, but you pay the agreed upon price. Id think twice again before going with Vons delivery.
