Wow I usually go to trader Joes or whole foods for my groceries I do go to Vons from time to. Ill come to Vons for my grocery Staples like dairy or major brand needs. I particularly like this because its always clean and the shelves are always well stock. I come here probably every two weeks and I always see the happy workers here. Some know me and even say hi. I also like that there is a Starbucks here, its nice getting my caffeine fix before I do my grocery shopping. Its nice that Vons have all these coupons and discounts unlike the other higher end supermarkets. I love getting deals from all my purchases whenever I come here.

Its very rare that you walk into a grocery store and immediately notice how clean and organized everything is.This place is well kept, has great staff members, and in general a very nice to stop at. Theyre produce, meat/seafood, floral, even down to the random nick nacks department all look like fresh and well configured.And do not worry, there is a Starbucks located inside. There is also a Peets Coffee and Tea located in the shopping center.Dont get blown away by the evening/morning rushes. Besides that its and nice place to get and out of.

Littleneck clams made my wife an I violently ill same day we bought them. Called the store next day to let them know, the girl who answered said she was from customer service but never said her name and refused to provide it when I asked! Disgraceful staff training Vons and clearly need a health and safety review of your seafood counter. I will never buy seafood there again.

Always fully stocked, lines are short, and the staff is friendly. They do not have self checkout but always open a new register if more than 3 people are in line. The cashiers are very quick and professional. This is one of the cleanest well organized Vons in California.

The manager Jody was really rude when I called asking about the money order.. she was stating the machine hasnt been working for over half a year.When I have been getting a money order for my rent for the past several months. She saying Im a liar and I havent been getting a money order there..For her being a manager she has a real rude tone/attitude. Work on your Customer service!

Unbelievable this place, Im frequently here because of convenience but after today, I may think differently and advise others to do the same. if it isnt enough that I come here regularly and typically have to allot an extra 5-10 minutes because no self check out and barely any registers open, earlier in week just one line open and line went all the way deep into aisle, never have I witnessed that in store in my 30+ years of existence.Today tops it all though person in floral wouldnt check me out when I was there with flowers and then I asked if able to cut for just 1 stem couldnt do that. I mean the lack of quality customer service just amazes me. I work in staffing and people would do anything for job here.Terribly disappointing. Only plus is one person who works at register Thomas, he always brings great service and a game

The worst grocery store with the worst customer service!!Always just one open registerNobody works in this store. I have contacted you many times and nothing changes. There is always huge lines and nobody helping people. The express checkout is a normal checkout because it is the only one. There is nobody in the customer service counter and there is no self checkout. Yesterday I literally had to leave my items and go to the vons in Black Mountain Rd which is a normal grocery store with employees that work. It was faster to drive and shop again than to wait! I even told the cashier it was unbelievable. I will NEVER come back to this store even if it is closest to my house. I find it funny that you take time to respond reviews instead of supervising the store and making sure that employees are actually working at this store!

This Vons has nice wide parking spots. However, they usually only have two or three check stands open, so the lines get ridiculously long. Today at 2pm on a Sunday afternoon I counted 13 transactions waiting in the express line and 18 or more (I couldnt see any further down the aisles to count) waiting in the others. This store is misery. I was in line waiting to check out for over 20 minutes.

High prices and no self-checkout. Often just one lane open, get ready to wait. Last time I went there, only one checkout lane with 6 people in line, one guy scanning and no one bagging, while 3 other employees stood around talking at the customer service area until someone complained. I like Vons location in Torry Highlands since it has more organic produce than the other locations that Ive been. Employees have always been friendly and helpful. Store is clean and well stocked. Its best to stay away from this location when Westview high school is on a lunch break or after school gets out. The kids flock to this store during those times. Other times its pleasant to shop there.

Kind of my favorite Vons. I especially like the pharmacy here, and drive well out of my way to use it. The pharmacists here are great.The store is a bit less busy than the one nearest to my house, so thats a plus as well.

Lots of selection and big aisles. Checkout was quick and easy. After a month or so going to this store regularly I have noticed a couple of things as compared to the Vons on Black Mountain Road. First off the selection on Highland Village Place is significantly better than on Black Mountain Road so I will probably continue to go here. I have noticed that the Deli counter seems to be a bit understaffed. Sometimes the wait can be long if I happen to be in the store at lunchtime as many kids from the nearby schools get lunch here. Also the display deli counter is often missing prices for many products on display. The other area of concern is produce. I have to really double check the freshness dates on salad greens. Also last week I was looking through the bags of tangerines and came across two bags with moldy fruit. In the end I will probably still go here for the selection unless these problems get worse.

Am a frequent customer I must say and today I was disappointed to find that I went in before work and bought a couple items and of those items a pack of hard boiled eggs to have for breakfast and to my surprise when I was going to open it I notice it expired, Oct 2022!!! This is upsetting as I was in a time crunch and I couldn’t go back to the store . Such an inconvenience. This store has a lot of good reviews but my experience was not good. I wish you could give negative stars. Went in to buy my niece some donuts the ad said they were on special for $4.00 if you bought 5 blue tag items. (Which would be a very good buy if they actually honored the ad) The ad said glazed or assorted nothing about prepackaged. I didnt see any donuts so I asked the girl in the bakery if they had any of the donuts and showed her the ad. The girl offered to make up a dozen and I was happy. (By the way girl in bakery was only one friendly that I dealt with in store). When we checked out the donuts were $9.99. the cashier said only prepackaged donuts were on sale so not only did I pay extra for the donuts I didnt get the sale price on my other 4 items. I feel very cheated and will not return to this store which is a shame because Vons used to be my favorite grocery. Talk about bait and switch. I would highly recommend going to any other Vons or grocery store for that matter unless you like being ripped off.

This is your typical vons. It has everything you would expect. Its very clean and the employees are very helpful and friendly. The gentleman that worked in the meat Department is so help and nice. He always has new suggestions on what to make for dinner. I would give this place an extra star if I could just for the fact that they have a starbucks inside. We’ve been doing the drive-up-and-go grocery pickup several times now since end of July. It’s been working out for us and we’re very happy they have this service available. Great spot, brought down the stars though because i saw an employee drop unpackaged produce to the floor, pick it up and put it back into the bin for sale. I dont know whats been on their floor or what everyone who walked there has stepped into before passing by, but i avoided the fresh produce.

If the DMV had a grocery store, this would be it! If this supper market wasnt across the street from my house I would never go to this store. Be prepared to wait in line at the register for 10-15 mins because they do not open up enough cashier when there is a rush of people. The deli often runs out of staples, almost every week, like chicken tenders, The bakery runs out of muffins often. Dont bother going to the Help Desk if you have a question, you might grow a 5 oclock shadow before you get any assistance. It is a clean store but is poorly managed and staffed.

Great Vons with large selection of everything you would expect to have in your neighborhood grocery store. Friendly staff and always stocked! I would like to give a special shoutout to Omar, the barista in Starbucks, who consistently delivers excellent service to me and my family. This young man makes the best drinks hands down! Super clean and well organized with spacious aisles. Interesting selections (kombucha on tap next to juice bar). Needed something from the bakery and the service was slow to respond... No eye contact from anyone, and when we did get someones attention, we were made to feel like it was a hassle to ask for a cake from the display case.

I love the wide selection of groceries. They carry the Honeycrisp apple here and it is my favorite Apple. It is Somewhat difficult to find but the price is comparable to many other big grocery stores. They have a wide selection of wines. They have a really great deal on mixing and matching wines, I really recommend this option for those who drink regularly.

Its nice to have a market back in this center! It saw Albertsons, till they bought Vons, and had to sell locations, when it became Hagans which went under six months later. It sat empty for months but is now Vons!In the process it went through several make overs so everything looks brand new.The selection is great, as it is one of the larger markets in the area, the produce is terrific, and always fresh. I am a fan of teh team at the seafood meat counter, as they are eager to offer help and seem to have a big selection of fresh fish and seafood.It seems few people have really discovered this location yet, as I never encounter a big crowd. I have yet to see all the check stand open, or need for it, even on the day before holidays!

As of 04/26/2017 staffing still needs to be dialed in a bit, it seems. There are often times a shortage of checkers in the early evening (rush hour).That noted, the staff is friendly and professional. Almost universally, they all work to get people through the lines and work to clear them quickly.

I bought a mushy, tasteless heirloom tomato here, and some bitter, nasty blackberries. That might actually have been the first time Ive ever had bad blackberries, and I probably eat them twice a week. I believe there was also chicken on special that had expired the day before. Even if I had saved my receipt, returning food to the grocery store is not on my list of fun things to do. Get a new manager who will make sure rotten food is removed from the floor rather than sold to customers. Hopefully that person will also see fit to remove the right-wing political propaganda from the checkout aisle. I mean cleaning up Obamas mess, seriously?!

I had a spoiled lasagna I bought from mira mesa I didnt ask 4 the receipt thats mybad because I trusted them, I know better now they didnt honor it or let me exchanging for a new one, so I went to the vons off of camino del sur they honored it with no problem, goes to show you that if your in a crowded neighborhood they wont do anything for you if you go to a nice neighborhood where theres a vons 9 times outta 10 theyll take care of you so make sure you check your expiration dates and keep your receipts
