Honestly- their pharmacy staff is very nice! They’re a great team :). Also their deli section is really good and I’m now hooked on their bakery’s cookies. They’re way too good. Vons is a little expensive, but seems to hold quality

Disappointed in the cake I ordered . It was flat and not at all like the 1/4 sheet they had there . Did not look like it was 2 layers .

This vons isn’t the greatest in the city or county. Often doesn’t have what I’m shopping for. The parking lot also has some pretty random people coming and going and hanging out. This spot should have the basic things you’ll need but if you got the time I’d recommend going to the vons closer to buena high school or the Thompson vons in midtown Ventura. Cleaner and nicer overall. Staff could use some more training here as well. Overall needs some upper management to do a full inventory of store and employees.

Store is fine. Giving this one star though, because the store director, Cory, is a completely careless moron. Hes lazy, combative, manipulative, and treats the customers and his employees like dirt. He has no idea how to properly manage a store and deserves to be fired.Update as of 6/10/24: The entire store, customers and employees, are fed up with Cory. The last few times Ive gone to this Vons to pick up something, Ive caught him yelling and cursing at customers. Maybe demote him to being a courtesy clerk and see how he likes being yelled at by customers.

My problem is with the so called Loss Prevention who has a serious anger problem. He followed me around the store for absolutely no reason whatsoever Literally standing there staring at me in the creepiest way so in all honesty I truly thought he was being a weirdo because thats exactly how he was acting. When I confronted him, which I did because honestly my boyfriend was on his way to come confront him himself in a less nice way than I did, and he totally and completely lost his temper for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Screaming at me and calling me an idiot and being totally rude in every single way which was entirely unnecessary and uncalled for. I mean first of all isnt loss prevention supposed to act like a customer and not be noticeable? Honestly I never in a million years expected him to be working lost prevention cuz he was acting exactly like loss prevention is supposed to not act like and then to flip out on me when I was talking totally calm and never even raised my voice. I am 100% sure Im not the only one who has had an inappropriate interaction with this man and definitely not the last. He is a lawsuit waiting to happen with the way his horrible anger problem shows. Honestly the way he got so mad at me makes me feel as tho like why did he get so defensive to where he was Literally screaming at me unnecessarily. I dont know, maybe he got defensive because he was following me for another reason than loss prevention, especially since I dont steal and Im pretty sure there were lots of other people in there who he shouldve been following instead of me. Also when I asked him what his reason was for following me, he couldnt give me an answer which makes him seem even more guilty of something. Thats something he shouldve been qble to do no problem, was to give me q reason as to why he chose to follow me around when I am 100% sure I have never given any store any reason to follow me around. Ever.. Oh and also he called me an idiot and paranoid but yeah any woman would have ptsd after being attacked numerous times by men, and the way this man was acting was exactly like the men who attacked me were acting before they did it, maybe he should learn to be more careful and not act like hes a creep, because hell get a lot further in life that way.

Im lowering the score from 4 stars to 1 star due to an employee problem - 3 male employees were blocking a fair length of the fresh produce aisle (near the salads), complaining about the government. I dont care what their politics are outside of work - they have a right to their opinions - but as a customer I dont want to hear their misinformed, repugnant opinions.As far as the groceries go, this Vons is nearly out of basics like ham steaks and eggs. They do have a good nutrition drink section though.

Why, in every square foot of this Vons is it 17 degrees below zero?No other grocery store. No other Vons is it THIS FREEZING COLD.In the sunner AND cold winter.

Over ran by vagrants and the entitled rude young people they have working there who are glued to their phones while on the clock at check out and service desks. Never have I witnessed such poor work ethic and attitudes. Thankfully the director Sue and the team members who’ve been there for 10+ years are the only reason that keep us going back because they hold true to the culture of small town ventura grocery stores and keep that feeling alive. But these young people need to go and their parents need to wake up and put in the work.
