Nice big version of Vons. Has A hair salon, postal annex, bank, Starbucks, a legit florist, They have much more space than most Vons this they have a big inventory and you may find stuff here that may not be carried at other Vons...12/2022 Update -taking it down a couple stars because of grumpy attendant at self checkout. She picked wrong job if customer service isnt her thing. Needed help because the self checkout wasnt accepting a scan. Lady had a rotten attitude when coming to fix the problem. Basically threw my item down. Not cool.

The Starbucks inside the Vons store is horrible, what happened to having great employees? The current employees are ok but this one person, who might have been new maybe, was not good. It was the third time she got and made our drinks wrong, she doesn’t have a name tag so I can’t even talk to a manager about it. Next time maybe I will take a picture, she was also rude. (Go next door) For STARBUCKS!!!

This is my favorite store to come to. But lately these employees seem so miserable and honestly Im just going to have to do the drive and go somewhere else. I was in the self-scanner check out this morning and I asked a woman to scan something for me please and proceeded to scan my groceries and she had the most awful look on her face, even after I said thank you and then I asked her if she was okay? Her name was Tamminika. I could be spelling it wrong but you get the gist of it. Id rather spend my money somewhere else at this point. Im so tired of dealing with these rude people. If people do not like their job they need to go somewhere else. I deal with people all day and people this is ridiculous. Save your energy people and go somewhere else!

I really like this Vons! Its big and clean. It has lots of different brands of food, not just their own brand. I always find something interesting and different to bring home and fix. They have a nice bakery section and a super fresh veggie/ fruit section. I get great discounts by having a free membership.

Quick look at my receipt tells me that the rudest employee in the building is the store director, Jessie. I have observed him being rude to customers AND employees on more than one occasion and yesterday was my turn. Guess Ill be heading down the street to Ralphs. Ive been shopping at this store for 20+ years and will never step foot in there again until hes gone. Disgusting. He has zero people skills. Do better, Vons. I know theres a reason hes not working the front end in that store. Everyone else is so nice, then theres him. You must keep him stocking shelves because you know that he treats others terribly. Well, hes run off this long time customer. Ill be making a post on nextdoor about him as well. No one deserves to be talked to the way he talks to others. No one.

The selection is good, store is big,and clean. I usually find what I am looking for when I shop here.The staff is very helpful and friendly. The guy in the produce section observed me instructing my kids to pick some fruit,and he took the time to show them how to properly select fruit.My one issue is often some of the available groceries are very close to the expiration date. If I buy a packet of cheese or meat,I dont want it expiring 2 or 3 days later.The Inglewood store never had soon expiration dates,but the lines were so much slower and longer,than Torrance.This store also has great 5 dollar Friday sales. Their rotisserie chicken is really good. The guys at the meat counter and very polite and friendly. I love their thin sliced black forest ham.The bathrooms are clean and the parking is ample. It can get pretty busy here.

Its my 1st visit at this Vaughns. They had ample vegetables and fruits however they were pretty low on herbs. But we found everything that we needed. The People that worked there could be a bit more helpful and some of the patrons were pretty snobbish... But as far as the store goes its good.

I’ve been a long time customer at this location. Customer service has gone down significantly. Grumpy and rude cashiers, I was there this morning and it’s getting worse. I came to the register and noticed my unsalted butter sticks were open on both sides. I told the cashier I did not want it after all. She never apologized or even offered to get me another one. The majority of the time I have to bag my own groceries. I’m trying to get out of there asap, since I usually spend most of my time in line. There’s never enough cashiers

My favorite Vons (besides the PCH and Camarillo one). Store is huge, staff is friendly, and they have one of those newer fancy touch screen lotto machines. They sell tap cards here, and there’s a salon and mailing center within the building where the left entrance is at.

The meat selection was really bad. We bought some steaks and when we unwrapped them, they were brown on the bottom. The chicken we bought was tough. Were going to throw all the meat away. And there was a woman in the store talking on her phone and not wearing a mask. Even in the checkout line. No one did anything about it. This Vons is horrible

Yesterday I was at the Vons on Crenshaw/Lomita in Torrance. I was Looking for specialty flour and could not find it. I want to know why EVERY time I go to get a sandwich, the same gentleman tells me it will take more than 15 minutes for it to be made because they don’t have any meat cut/prepped? It has been 5+ times that this same excuse has been given to me and I’ve seen others that work within the parking lot leave frustrated without food due to the extreme and consistent inconvenience. I, on one occasion, waited 30 minutes for the gentleman to make my sandwich because of this issue and it’s time I said something about it so that it can hopefully be fixed.

This Vons has a pretty good selection but Aldi across the street is half the price. Avoid the deli because their fried chicken taste like the oil is never changed and the meat slicer doesnt seem to get cleaned often enough if at all. Their mispricing has gotten better lately but I still look at my receipt closely because of several instances where I have been overcharged in the past.I asked for a rain check on ribeye steaks but they wouldnt honor their ad because more were arriving later that day. Better off going elsewhere unless you need something specific which I concede they have a large selection.

Oh man, get ready for help yourself shopping, a meat man that would rather butcher you then the steak. Employees are burned out, no morale. They need a Customer Comes First class daily. Knowledgeable staff (I have stumped them a couple of times). Almost always have what I need. Selection can be limited, more apparent since the lockdowns so probably a supply-side issue. You may be able to find lower prices on some items but I prefer a one-stop trip, when possible. Specialty items - I’d go to a specialty store.

I went to the bakery section at Vons because I wanted Vons-made bagels (they are really good). The main lady in the bakery was extremely helpful, friendly and kind. I wish I remembered her name. Love the store for its bakery and dairy products. Costco and trader Joes are my go to store. While Costco bakery is really good the amount is too much for our small family and trader Joes bakery is really small with less variety. So Vons is the right place. Their fresh baked bread everyday is awesome. Also like the customer service there for their helpfulness.

The thing about a traditional grocery store is that you must use any and all discounts available to get a decent price. When you shop the weekly ad and use the Just for U app, you can truly get some amazing deals. In fact, Ive gotten huge discounts and tons of free stuff. This location has an excellent selection and the customer service is top notch! Going with covid-19, I must say they are on it! They sanitize the carts and go above and beyond any protocols Ive seen anywhere. A true classic indeed!

Signs are only at one end of the row, if walking down the middle isle you can only see sign for one side of isle, very inconvenient. Otherwise, store was clean & stocked OK. I got there a little after seven, the designated time for senior shoppers and the shelves were mostly empty in the meat dept.and frozen food section.also a lot of the other essential sanitizer and paper products, bread was available as well as milk and eggs which were limited to a gal.and 1doz..didnt see much restocking so future availability is a problem. This usually well kept store seems to undergoing some renovation/repair work and having refrigeration issues. Some of the meat cases have been taken out of commission and some freezer doors are fogged over to the point where you cant see thru them. Hope they can get things back on track soon.

Most importantly there is self checkout. You can avoid glove wearing cashiers scanning (therefore touching) every single purchased product with germs from all prior shoppers’ cash or credit cards. The gloves are to protect the cashiers not you. Self checkout is the way to go.

The only grocery store in the area. It was just recently reorganized now the beer is in front. Almost makes you feel like you are in trader Joes. Ive been to this location several times and for it to be in a good neighborhood it lacks so much. The produce aisle is meh, the meat dot smells so bad and a large amount of the meat is brown, many popular items are very high up and I couldnt reach it. I was overcharged told the cashier the error before leaving yet I got to the car read the receipt and I was Overcharged by almost $11. This location has a Starbucks and Panda Express the Starbucks line was very long Nd it was only 1 worker, the panda express food looked very old and unappealing. I prefer to stick to my reg location in Gardena or Redondo Beach.

Very friendly staff even the kid that goes outside to pick up shopping carts is friendly. Everyone greets you as if you are a family friend or other alike. There is always a lot of staff at the front cashiers and keeping the line moving fast with a lot of help as well as many staff around the isles to help with anything needed.

If I could give this a zero Stars I would. I have never been to a grocery store whos employees and management routinely shame the customers like they do here😤. I am a WIC participant and I dont have a car so vons is the closest place for me to go when I cant make it to the WIC grocery. They dont label any of their WIC approved products. They dont honor anything that is supposed to be honored by WIC even when given the official WIC guide that lays out all approved products and sizes.The cashiers loudly complaine to the customers about having to do the WIC process which is done right Humiliating! This is a company who receives benefits for participating in this program and they make it impossible to use. If they dont want to participate in the program they shouldnt. Im in the process of having them audited because of this injustice. They are rude and condescending and I have left the store in tears because was so embarrassed by the cashiers. There is one manager at night, a young man whom I dont know his name but hes always wonderful and kind and helpful and doesnt care what the other employees think. He is very supportive of using such a wonderful program and shuts down the line for me every time I come because he knows Ive had such problems. This is the only person at this store who treats me like a human being and I applaud him for being a decent person! Thank you so much! I wouldnt go here if I had another choice ......its hell on earth. Spare yourself if you can .

I believe the store employee or manager whomever he was saw an opportunity to initiate a problem and did. I strongly believe in social distancing and I had on two masks. I have been to that Vons more than once and also Ralph’s and have never been told not to stand with the person I was shopping with but after grabbing a couple of gallons of distilled water we were directed to go to a checker once we arrived to the checkout our space was invaded by the employee who stood only 2-feet away from us and he was so very concerned about us being together. Now I don’t feel my friend needed to cuss him about being too close but I don’t believe he should have snatched a gallon from my hand. I am 59 have physical disabilities and his actions towards me were unacceptable. I did not use one cuss word toward him and I had no idea until I left the store what was really going on. I will never go back.

This Vons used to be much better, but lately its been a problem. We now only get boxed and non-edible products in emergencies. The vegetables and fruit tend to have flies in recent visits, and the past few times we purchased dairy products, the were already spoiled by the time we got them home, which tells me that either transport or storage isnt being kept at temperature correctly. I hope they decide to rectify the issue soon.

Vons is convenient for me, 5 minutes drive. If I want a bargain, I go to Walmart Neighborhood Market, but Vons has most of what I need for a market. The parking is good if you go early in the morning or late at night.

I visited the Deli at Vons in the crossroads shopping center to pick up some items for a gathering at work. To my surprise I was greeted by a warm Hello may I help you which was so pleasant, I asked for a few thing to go and not only were the items available they were ready within minutes... I enjoyed my visit that I plan on making this store MY Vons store.. I believe the young lady that help me was Marina didnt caught the last name.

The wifi sucks.. whether it is theirs or i try to use my Data! I was told they got new wifi a few weeks ago, but today it was still awful to try and use it! I try to add things from home before I go shopping, but there is always something to add at the store. very disappointed! GREAT staff however!

Vons has just about everything you could need for fixing breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks. There is a bakery, great produce section, seafood, meats. PANDA Express and Starbucks are also located inside the store.

Honestly, I dont love any Vons stores. But this one has a little extra specially bad layout. It feels like they intentionally put similar things on opposite sides of the store. Id avoid this one if youre able.

The artichoke chicken sandwhich is delicious with the aioli and Italian dressing. I highly recommend it. The Habanero chicken is delicious and not too spicy. Im the type that doesnt like spicy foods. So enjoy! The wait was 5 minutes because they are a little short staffed IMO, but Stevens service was quick.

I was waiting in line for a sandwich. There was this short-haired girl who was making sandwiches at that time (I think her name tag said Sunshine?!??) She was sniffling and as I was watching her make a sandwich for the lady in front of me, I saw her nose drip onto the sandwich she was making. It was so disgusting that I walked away. I later ran into the lady who was in front of me and I told her what I saw. The lady saw that as well and she said she threw the sandwich away.Ewww! This place does not care about the well being of their customers.

Waited outside in car the pizza you could smell it be for in got walked out in to the hands of my husband Arthur hermosillo he loved pizza too ! A little pricey but you get what you pay for the cheese and pepperoni it was baked and puffed up a little even the crust I hv to stop getting dam hungry there it goes rite into the oven !!!!!
