Really organized and has awesome deals!I was really surprised by how stocked and organized they were. Everything looked really neat and they seemed to have all of the groceries I needed. Food looked fresh and everyone there is really nice!This is definitely one of the more calmer and quieter grocery stores -- which I like. Im able to shop in peace and dont have to wait in any crazy long lines. Their deals are pretty good and its always easy to apply my membership at checkout.Will definitely be stopping by more often! :)

Never leave reviews on anything but tonight my girlfriend and I were shopping here like we do almost every night. Right as we walk in the new security guard began following us very closely the entire time we were shopping making it very apparent he thought we were stealing. He even met us all the way up at the register where he leaned on the cashier stand eyeballing my girlfriend and I, then started making up a very obviously fake conversation with the guy bagging my groceries who also was very obviously weirded out and uncomfortable by the security guard who was just staring into my soul the entire time. I love all the employees at this location always have an excellent experience but this made me and everyone around me noticeably uncomfortable. Hate to be a Karen but this was super not cool.

This place is so ridiculous. The deli employees are always in such a rush to go they close 30-45mins early. Ive come in on several different occasions for salads or chicken, and they wont help because theyre throwing the food out. Today I went in at 740 and they young man told me he could not cut me lunch meat because he had already cleaned the meat slicer. I asked what time they closed, and he said, well technically not until 8, but I dont want to re clean it. Bad business.

The younger flower girl that was there provided horrible customer service full of her attitude. Never coming here again. Use to love coming for the fresh flowers. I’m going to Trader Joe’s from now on out. Stay away unless you want to be treated like you don’t matter as a customer.

The drive up and go service was so disappointing. I am a first time customer. I am a caregiver and ordered groceries for my friends father. A blonde young kid gave me my groceries 7 minutes after I got there and they were so poorly bagged. He came to my car and with zero friendly customer service and had alcoholic breath when he asked for my code. My receipt was not given to me and the substitutions that’s were made—made no sense at all. Will not come back here again.

Upon arriving there is plenty of parking. There are other stores sharing the parking lot so you can run several errands at once. Gas, groceries, clothing, gym, etc. The interior of Vons is clean and well lit. There are both self checkout and cashiers available for faster experience. Vons carries a wide variety for various diet consideration. There is a discount for signing up for a free vons loyalty membership. I recommend Vons over Albertsons, Aldis, or stater brothers.

The floral dept has rude employees. Everytime I have tried their floral dept I was greeted and treated poorly at best. I will not try them again! Sad, this floral dept has a wonderful display, if only their character was nice as the displays they create. The manager has taught the employees to be just as rude. The behavior went from the top down.

Manager named Bradley is extremely rude. Do not shop here. He is very condescending and rude to you if there is an error. A huge store like Vons should have someone with people skills over seeing things. After reading other reviews on here as well, Im surprised nothing has been done to improve customer relations.

Stopped into Vons to grab a small meal at the service deli. Alicia approached us and she was super sweet and funny. She told us we could get a good meal for the both of us at reasonable price, instead of grabbing random items. Glad we did because the chicken was really good and Mac and cheese was too. Great customer service!

I talked with the assistant manager. And when I explained to her my experience as a customer. She acted nonchalant. Try to tell me what she told her employees. The bathroom is extremely dirty. I didnt even want to wash my hands its so dirty. They open up at 6am. Smh

This Vons is TOP NOTCH! The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. They dont point to aisles, they walk you there. They were busy the other day and the manager was working a register. He was HAPPY to be at the register and even said he enjoyed it and keeping up with those skills. It really made me feel happy for the staff there. What a great leader. The store is always clean and inviting. Its just groceries but with so many options finding one you love is a big deal.

Well ran store, all staff are great. Prices could be lower in most areas but they have a great convenient location. Would shop here exclusively if the prices were more competitive. WinCo and Aldi tend to be lower grocery bill if Im willing to go to multiple places

Conveniently located. The great thing about Vons is that they have a great selection of products. They also have great deals. The bakery is excellent and hard to pass without grabbing something sweet. The staff could be friendlier, they seem a bit inattentive and irritable. Store is always clean. Visited the store, as usual the Western Union desk is without any associates to help you out. A supervisor his name was Leo asked me to say there and will come if he becomes free from another counter. He had poor customer service, his sentence started with Mmmm what do you need ?? seemed he didn’t want to server. Unacceptable from a Vons supervisor.

As a customer went to use the restroom... To find it needs a code to enter... Nobody around... So went back to the front to ask for a code. They wont give customers the code... So you have to wait for someone to walk back to the restroom with you to enter the code. A bit ridiculous I think... To top it off the bathroom was also fairly unclean!

Either hire more people or open self checkout. This is the only vons I’ve ever been to that does not have self checkout. It would be fine if they scheduled enough people at the registers, but no. Every time I come in here, there is only ONE register open with 10+ people in line. No express lanes open, and no self checkout lanes at all. I live right across the street from this vons but refuse to support them because of their stupidity when it comes to the registers. I take my business next door to target instead, who is always fully staffed and has self checkout.

Clean and well maintained, everyone is always asking how they can help. Shelves are stocked and you rarely see things out of place, florist is amazing and so nice to work with. Lines get long every now and then but theyre good about opening up new lanes.

I went in for the sale they had on coca cola. Great sale! They only had 5 on the counter so someone went back to look. They found them under other things. The manager, Nick, who had opened up a lane when the line formed longer than 3, went back and picked up another 6 pack for me. Super nice ! And then a young lady helped me to my car

Vons, as always, seems to have a much higher standard than most of its competitors. Aisles are always faced and labeled correctly staff is friendly and helpful, and best of all they keep their carts and registers clean in between customers. Clean store, well organized. I dont like the vibe in there for some reason. Maybe it is just this location but I just dont like it. I rarely go to this store unless its an emergency. Prices are pretty expensive, even things on sale. I like a good bargain and you cant find one here. Aside from those things. Produce is fresh. Good variety of stock in this location. The staff is friendly enough but its the kind of friendly they are getting paid for lol.

Personally, I dont like this store. It is neat and clean, but in my opinion, the layout is odd. Is there anyone else, besides me, who thinks that its inconvenient to have the sundries aisles right in the middle of the store, separating the food down the middle? Maybe its just me, but when I go in for 2 or 3 items, they always happen to be on opposite sides of the sundry aisles.

I love this Vons. It has most of the specialty products and bread that we like and theyre affordable. The bagger during the day time is a very sweet, older man who will make you smile everytime youre there, one of these days I will remember his name. The weekdays are rarely busy and they always have great customer service.

I went to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription, which was called in by my doctor yesterday. It was not ready! I was told it would take 15 minutes to prepare. I got it 30 minutes later. The place was not busy! Then the pharmacist agreed me questions I already answered, further wasting my time. All this time I was in severe pain, which was quite evident, yet she made me wait, wait and wait. Never again!

Instead of going around us or waiting he blocked all the lettuce with his cart directly infront of me.. hello? Im not invisible. Update 8/29/18: Despite my frustration and giving up on Vons, they were persistent in amending the problem and called me from this Vons yesterday. They have been experiencing tech issues with their 3rd party delivery services, and once they straightened those out (took about 3 days) I got a call from Tyler who not only amended the problem by sending me a complimentary delivery, but also offered a solution to confirming that my future orders will arrive on time. The service Tyler provided was more conducive to my expectations as a customer than what I was experiencing in the past couple of days. Now that I am in touch with him, I will continue to use this vons for delivery. Tyler and Liz did an excellent job choosing my produce and packing my groceries, and even left a kind note ! The driver called 30 min before she arrived which was helpful. Good recovery....Thanks for everything guys.Update 8/27/18: this Vons and their delivery service had a great launch and then did an abrupt dive into the depths of uuugghh!!!. Bottom line, After months of giving them another chance, I’ve now stopped using them. They are inconsistent in their delivery times, can’t find the same house twice, and now don’t show up at all two days in a row. Spoke to ****** to solve the issue, she never called me back or solved anything. Poor customer service at this store. Called the third party delivery company several times... each time was promised credits and a rescheduled delivery, and was just jerked around. Waste of time.Awesome delivery service!! I have been ordering from this Vons for home delivery for almost a month now. They are so spot on and accurate! I order lots of vegetables and so far I get fresh and crisp produce. The drivers are so friendly and professional and will bring my bags inside for me. What a fantastic and convenient service for us here on wine country! Thanks Vons staff for 5 star service!

Stopped during a trip from San Diego to Memphis and the doors were locked on one side. Before we could walk away someone promptly unlocked the door for us and said it was too cold outside for us to walk to the next entrance. How kind is that? We bought fresh veggies and dips for road snacks and the dips were are locally made. Everyone was very kind, the store was clean and the produce was fresh. There’s not much you can expect from a grocery store at 9:45 on a Thursday night.

Yesterday i feel in the beginning the cashier respected me suddenly when he know i am paying using food stamp i feel he change the way he talk to me. Lip curling disdain for anyone wearing a mask.Im very immunocompromised and NEED to do so. Came to this overpriced grocery store to shop for dinner...waited at the meat counter behind other store patrons for 5 minutes, bell rang more than once and not one single person acknowledged anybody...so we left...and drove further away to a grocery store with way better prices AND customer service. I have shopped at the Ranco CA, store since moving here 5 yrs ago. The store needs upgraded. However, the employees are the Very Best! I have extremely friendly and helpful assistance! Especially a few I clearly find to be Outstanding. I lost my phone yesterday and the help, I received from the staff was unreal.....1. Adam ( a Rory McIlroy, look like), he is one off the most helpful friendly employee I have ever had dealings with, everyday, Polite, Professional and always willing to do above and beyond what anyone could expect. Very impressive young man.2. Jessie, she was more than helpful and again, very impressed.3 a young Blond man, always very helpful (don’t know his name.4. Last but not least, a older gentleman that bags and takes care of the shopping carts! He’s, soo sweet and kind always smiling and willing to help.I’ve worked in Healtcare Smr Mgmt for 35 yrs and understand how difficult it is to hire good employees, trust me. I shop here occasionally. The location is near CVS and other convenient places like Target and Starbucks. The customer is always goid. Workers are friendly and helpful. The bakery is great. You can get a really good deal on pastries sometimes in the clearance section. In general the prices arent too great. Sometimes produce is on sale for decent prices. Most other products are expensive. Its a clean store and very organized. Theres also a Redbox inside. You can stop by the deli to get fresh products, but they are a bit pricey.

I shop at Barons, Sprouts, trader Joes, total wine, target and only at Vons is there a long line when checking outThey just dont prioritize keeping waiting times short.. they need to work on getting more cashiers or calling for backupPrices arent great but the meat and fruit have some standout quality itemsJust when I run in for one small thing I have to wait like 10 minutes in a line... its literally like waiting for a ride at a theme park

Went to customer service to cash in scratch off, manager he says be with you in a minute with zero eye contact, proceeds to complain to girl back there how he wears 15 hats, goes off behind door and girl goes to a check out lane and I’m left standing there - I say something to her and she said he’s just putting money away he’ll be right there - 5 min later as I hear a money counting machine he STILL hasn’t returned! The sandwich bar is always low on staff. The one time we did get a sandwich made the tomatoes were old and the lettuce had dirt on it still.So I just left this store. Please stay away from SUPERVISOR SANDY. Very rude to my teenage daughter because she wasnt bagging right....yanked the bags from her! And thats the supervisor ladies and gentleman. Very bad when it comes to running their customer service desk . Wanted to make a transaction they said thier desk is closed today. So basically no returns no money orders no nothing. Wed. 2:25 PM . Really? I asked if someone will work later the cashier said no. So if you guys can’t run it then shut it.And this is not the only time it happened. 2 other times in the past I wanted to use WesternUnion services and they had no one to help me. All weekend ive veen chasing about 30 items for T.G. dinner. Bare shelves everywhere. As a retail and wholesale vet over the last three decades i know O E THING,!!!BARE SHELVES ARE GROUNDS FOR IMMEDIATE TERMINATION.NOT ONLY DID THEY HAVE EVERY ITEM ON MY LIST, THEY HAD PEOPLE TO HELP ME FIND THOSE ITEMS. The store is nice and clean and well stocked but you only get 1star because you only have 2 registers(1regular and 1 express) opened most of the time and people have to wait 30min for one item, what is wrong with this picture?

Good selection good quality prices on most products are 30% higher than starter bros and Ralphs and 40% higher than winco..dont know how this store stays in business.. checkers and checkout is much slower than other local supermarkets

This location has a dmv now kiosk. If you dont know what that is, its a kiosk that you can get your dmv registration tags from. You take your old registration card in and follow the prompts, a few minutes later it prints you a new registration card with the sticker tags on it. Skip the dmv and go here! No AAA membership required!

I was in Vons last night just stopped in to pick up an item and I had my service dog with me and I didnt have my service dogs identification and the little twerp that was checking us out was not going to service me because I didnt have my ID and he also said next time I come in the store with my service dog that I have to check in at the store front door he threatened to throw me out am I told him go ahead dont wait on me somebody else will have your job tomorrow Im just an 80 year old Marine suffering from like combat wounds and I must have a service dog and he was not going to service me they ought to throw the bum out
