I ordered to be picked up. Easter ham included for 1.44 per lb. My order was apx 130. For Easter. I get an email half hour before pickup they substituted the same brand cure 81 ham that was 10 lbs for a 3 Lb cure 81 ham that the 3 lb was $24 more expensive than the 10 lb. Then I downloaded the app to see my order and it doesnt sync with my online account.Ralphs 100% now.Reply to Owner:Why did I get an email that my order was ready and the ham wasnt there although it was in your weekly ad?I have 10 people over for Easter. You misses the whole point of my complaint.

Order with uber your shopping and it goes into a drivers phone for 2seconds, thats it thats all., maybe you put five mins into ordering . Yet the driver is treated like he is disposable .. and gets every vons shopping order, For 2 SECONDS TO DECIDE ON THE ORDERS.. They MAKE IT THIS WAY AND LEAVE IT THAT WAY... My nephew absolutely loves Coco melon and since my family loves the cakes at vons we put our order in and boy oh boy did Gloria the baker literally bring his 2nd birthday to life . If everything is on sale... Then nothings on sale. The place is a rip-off. Remember to not allow them to scan your items until your phone number or membership card has been scanned. They use two sets of numbers when they ring you up and theres nothing worse than getting out in the parking lot in finding you just got overcharged by $5 on one item.

Best Bakery. Their cakes are delicious and beautifully decorated. Purchased a small cake for a birthday, too small to write anything. They suggested a plastic happy birthday sign, which they added at no charge. Perfect touch. Happy customer.🥳

We had never tried their little sandwich bar next to the little deli area. But we were hungry while shopping, so we ordered sandwiches - and, omg, we are really glad we did. The price on them is really fair, but the flavor was so incredible! Its better than any sandwich shop. Plus, the Employees were very personable and they offered great suggestions. Weve been back several times, just for the sandwiches!Shopping in the rest of the store is good, too. I love their bakery area, but you have to get there early or fresh goods are gone. Their croissants are perfect for making sandwiches, too, and less expensive than the local bakery.The store is clean and large. Its well organized. We havent ever had to take anything back like we have with a few competitors. We live in a high traffic area so theres always people in the store. We have many choices of grocery stores, but we prefer Vons.

Part of the Albertsons/Safeway Corp & VERY CLEAN like the Safeways in Northern Cali! 😀ANYBODY that says Customer Service sucks is EITHER RUDE or has NEVER dealt w/ Walmarts C.S.!! WMs Customer Service SUCKS; NOT VONS!! David, store manager, is VERY NICE PROFESSIONAL! Vons, being part of the Albertsons Market/Safeway traditional grocery store chain, actually cares as opposed to Walmart who, is NOT a traditional grocery store but I giant conglomerate that could care less about you! Neither does the East Coasts Kroger chain whose C.S. sucks! Again, Ive personally never had any problems whatsoever with any Vons/Albertsons Market/Safeway stores!

Sigh, no more Ralphs close by, Vons now closest market to me. Nice store, great departments, big selections, good pricing if you join their just for you program. I can find 90% of ingredients for recipes, the rest you have to go to ethnic markets for those specialty items. This store has good selection of wines but not as many of the high end items like Pavilions. Bakery and Deli good but I like Wholesome Choice for their unique items.

Great store has a lot of items in store with plenty of variety this one is better than the Anaheim location with more available items ! This is probably a larger store too but has more selection to choose from and unique items not available in other Vons stores! I give it a big thumbs up! This Vons also has an actual Starbucks inside for your convenience!

Vons is a favorite of my wife and me!Its pricier than other grocery stores in our area, but we dont mind because this location is well-organized, well-stocked, and the staff is pleasant.Nothing is perfect, of course. We had a problem with self-checkout today and they didnt have any cleaning items to clean our basket, but thats just me being nit-picky, lol.Anyway, happy shopping!

I had a good karma experience today @ VONS. For all those times that Ive let someone with a few items go before me in the checkout line. This lovely senior woman was kind enough to let me & the customer before me cut in front of her. She had a full cart so I was very grateful seeing that I was in a rush. A glimmer of hope for humanity in this dismal time in our lives. 🙏🥰

This is a very nice store with a lot to choose from. I just wont buy the cold, cooked, cut up chicken they sell packaged. I bought it twice, but its too overcooked and dry and I couldnt chew a lot of it, so I wasted money. The second chicken I bought they left out a piece of chicken,,,,but the main thing is it being hard, dry, and overcooked. I also find lack in some customer service there. Some cashiers are very unhappy with their job,,,and whats with the guy that has to direct you to a register to check out?

I like the store. It is bright, clean, and well organized. The people are friendly and helpful. What I do not care for is the prices. They go up and keep rising. I find it to be one of the most expensive grocery stores in the area. It forces me to go elsewhere and I prefer to be a one stop shopper.

I love going to Vons during times of day where its not crowded. Plenty of friendly help always available and they are well stocked on a variety of items. But I dont like being there in the evening hours when you stand in long lines behind so many others and they just dont open up enough new cashiers

Great store . Location is great, good service.I gave a 4 star instead of a 5 for 1 reason, that was because a fly was walking all over the packaged hamburger meat. I told the butcher he did remove the meat right away. Just having a fly in the store on the meat gave it a 4 star for me. Not so great today. 1pm, line all the to the deli dept, not enough help, it seemed. Cashiers dont call for the next person in line quickly enough. My big pet peeve, checkers and baggers chatty chatting with each other, and not paying attention to the person checking out. Seemed no one watching the the store, literally, when I was there today.

I have not been disappointed here, this is the 2nd trip in this Vons. I like the vast assortment of fruits and vegetables. Yes, they are a bit high priced, but I can find anything I am looking for. The meat counter is well versed in packaged meats to pick from, and the butchers case it stocked nicely. My other favorite spot here is the dairy coolers, they have a huge selection of items and nothing was close to or past todays date. I made no special orders, but if I needed to Im sure going to hit up this Vons.

I want to give 4 stars but I just cant bring myself to do it. Prices are ok but not great. Service is always good but not great (except in the pharmacy.... they are always great! ). Store is always clean but the facing (isles well stocked) is just ok.This is my local store. I come here every week. I like all the employees, they are always genuine and nice. But on the whole, there is just something about the store, I cant place my finger on it.If I could give a 1/2, definitely 3 1/2 stars! But just cant give 4.

Everything about this place is awful. I saw a worker in produce pick up some kale that fell on the ground and just stuff it back like nothing. The cashiers are rude and dont listen. I actually went to Quest diagnostics in Vons. It was clean and not crowded. The nurse was very nice and she got blood on her first try which is impressive! However it felt like she was pressing a little hard with the needle. Overall, it is a nice Quest diagnostics facility.

The employees are pleasant, most of them, and make an unpleasant necessity, shopping, bearable.The new closing hours are the one thing that had me only give 4 stars. They now close at 10pm instead of 1am. It was great before with my schedule. Now its a hassle.

We visited the bakery today in Orange and needed last minute cupcakes. We found chocolate cupcakes but they didn’t have frosting. Irma was working and she quickly frosted the cupcakes we needed and was super helpful. I would highly recommend this bakery, everything always taste amazing too! Thank you Irma!

I was harassed for not wearing my mask today. I have a medical condition I never wear a mask for this reason. I told them this and the manager after I had finished my shopping and was standing in checkout forced my girlfriend and I to put mask on. She also has a medical condition. He said our medical condition doesnt matter and that we have to wear a mask to accommodate others... well what about us we tried shopping online they usually mess the order up, it cost more, and also tell us stuff is out of stock just for us to see it at the store when we go in. This is discrimination! Also if you are so concerned about my mask how come the checkout area wasnt properly disinfected for me to use let alone disinfected at all. It has been months since I have seen with my own eyes the checkout areas disinfected with many of people one after another touching everything. Especially when it says clearly on Google that staff is REQUIRED to disinfect surfaces between each visit.I will not stand for being harassed and being told that my health doesnt matter!

Being that they are open till 1:00am it is the one if not the latest closing store in my general area. Great for late night snacks or even general shopping. The meat and deli are closed at late hours but you can still get your shopping needs out of the way.

Expensive and getting more expensive. Over the past 3 to 4 years service has been going downhill. The store is constantly being remodeled. It is very annoying because it makes it tough to find what you need. Also, product is changed out often, so you may not always find everything you need. The store is clean and people are nice, but the general management of the mediocre. If it is convenient, shop there, but shopping somewhere else may be worth a little inconvenience.

I had an appointment with Quest Laboratories for a blood draw and I needed a face mask for it otherwise they could not aw the blood. It was already 4pm and I had been fasting all day. Nobody in the store had a facemask so I was going to have to make an another appointment for next week since it was Friday another appointment was not available until Monday to come again. I asked Manuel the Manager here and he found his only facemask that was given to him and it was sealed. He gave it to me the facemask so I could have the blood drawn. It was really kind and generous. Thanks, Manuel. Vons should give you a promotion. Its this kind of help that goes a long way and Ill certainly let everyone know this Vons has great employees! Ill be shopping here next time for my groceries. 🙂

I was told today my medical condition didn’t matter (very offensive!) and I had to wear a mask to check out or leave my groceries. I told the individual forcing the mask on me that we were exempt but we were still forced. So just so your employees are aware and do not harass others with exemptions. This is from the California Department of Public Health website stating the exemptions. Also I was told it wasn’t discrimination because I can shop online. 1) so basically every single time I need an item from the store I will have to pay a delivery fee and pay more than everyone just because of my medical condition. That is 100% discrimination. 2 ) every single time I’ve done pick up they have cancelled items that were fully in stock. I had to walk into the store still to get them and they were FULLY stocked every single time. So yes, to make it this difficult to get groceries is very discriminatory when I am supposed to be able to walk in the store

Service was bad, wanted a deli item the cashier was so busy flirting with a male customer she forgot about everyone else. When she was confronted about the lack of service she called another cashier. The second cashier had to be call 3 times before she waddled to the floor. My lunch was wasted on 2 incompetent people. The shopping cart person tryed her best not to have anything to do with me with a elect cart i was trying to return but didnt know it wasnt theres (Wal-Marts) but the manager was sweet and told me where the stores name was located, i just took it from some children that was joy riding it. This store is infamous for under staffing cashiers. Even if you run in for 1 item you will wait at least 20 minutes to check out. There are no self check outs and at most only 3 registers open at a time. I honestly dread going in unless I have a ton of time to just waste standing in lines.

I am still upset this happened. Im extremely flustered and emotional, besides Im pregnant as well. I stopped at Vons yesterday morning. I was the only Mexican in line. Everyone looked caucasian, including the cashier. To everyone in front of me she said hi and asked how they were, asked if they had their Vons membership or if they wanted to sign up, told them their total and asked if they needed bags. When I get there, she didnt say a word. She didnt even mention or motioned when I should swipe my card, didnt offer me a bag, didnt even bother putting my items closer to me to grab. Im pregnant, so yes it really bothered me to have to reach over the counter for my items. Im really annoyed. She didnt have to say anything to show her racism. Her actions spoke louder than words. The customer behind me was caucasian as well, of course the cashiers friendly warm greeting started again. I will never be shopping here again. I do not support racism.

I specifically when to Vons market to visit the deli. There were two employees visible behind the counter; one employee was helping a customer and the other was working at the sushi counter. When approaching the deli counter to wait for assistance, I was neither verbally nor visibly acknowledged by any associate in attendance. I waited for more than five minutes to be assisted; the store contained less than 20 customers and no extra assistance was called to the deli counter.The associate that assisted me came from unloading items in the back room and, after making eye contact, offered to help. My sandwich was made to my desired specifications. The assoicate did not ask me what size sandwhich I wanted, only inquired as to the type of bread. I was not told about any specials or upsold on any combo deals.I asked about a chicken special and was not given a reply. I ordered two piecies of fried chicken legs, mojo potatoes and brocille slaw. All of the items ordered were well cooked, seasoned, and great tasting. I enjoyed the my food items. I would have preferred a more friendly group of associated to created a more inviting atmosphere.There is no chance I would have been able to get my deli order places had I been more pressed for time.

NOT the cashiers fault, but, I was in the 15 items or less Express Lane today. 5 people were ahead, 2 of them, at the front of the line, were shopping together. Those two people did FIVE different transactions!!By comparison, next line over, a woman with a completely full shopping cart finished her transaction AT THE SAME TIME as the two rude women!!

I like grocery shopping here but unfortunately the staff lacks customer service skills. The cashier who I believe her name was Janet, never greeted us and had the coldest stare on her face. Through out paying the transaction, she just had a mad face. This made my experience extremely uncomfortable because as soon as I was about to leave, I heard her greet the guest that was after me. Honestly what kind of employees do you guys hire? I know this isn’t a big deal but having a bad staff really shows the character of the entire staff. The guest ALWAYS comes first.

Used to love vons. I shop there solely for their organic produce and meat. The last 3 times Ive gone, the produce was old, even had bugs buzzing around the soggy sweet potatoes, the zucchini were floppy, and to top it off, customer service was a zero. The checkout girl did not even say hello, I had to ask her how SHE was doing, and even had to bag my own groceries without any help from her or anyone else. To make it even more infuriating, she wouldnt stop the conveyor belt seeing that I was overloaded with groceries trying to bag them myself!!!! I had things falling on the floor and she still didnt care! My husband and I were floored. She then, waited until I was done bagging my own stuff, and had the gull to ask if I needed anything else????? OMG!!!!!!!!!! I have never wanted to slap someone like I wanted to that day. NEVER GOING BACK. My husband called the manager after we got home, and he is not the complaining type, they just said sorry, we were understaffed today.... what the heck???? So what? That store is always understaffed with long lines, something needs to change, Vons! Geeze

The store is right around the corner, and has almost everything we could ever want for food stuff.However, you might get a better deal by going elsewhere for produce and meats. The current store manager, David Lee, is professional and accommodating, however, the remaining managers are just awful, especially the female managers!Im a loyal costumer of 25 years, and recently I clipped several coupons on Vons website which is just another option Vons offers to get your coupon savings without having to cut out and bring the physical coupon to the store. Well, after I ran my card through the machine, I realized the coupons were never credited to my card. It that my fault? NO, obviously Vons website needs some serious work/maintenance which the manager I discussed the situation with fully agreed.STILL, she insisted I go home and print out the coupon, and bring it to the store!! Unbelievable - I will NEVER EVER shop at this store again!!

I can choose between what alcohol im going to drown my sorrows with and what birthday card I want to send to an aunt I havent talked to in years.
