I’ve been shopping here for almost 2 years. It’s a nice clean store. However, they recently put in locked cabinets that contain about 30-35% of the products in their shopping aisles. These are regular products such as toothpaste, laundry detergent, deodorant, cough drops, and even hand soap. This store often works on a skeleton crew that cannot manage the workload of unlocking cabinets for individual customers multiple times in a single shopping trip. There is no call button, and when you get the item you want from the cabinet, it is sent to the front of the store to be claimed at the register. I’m not talking about alcohol - I’m talking about deodorant.I’m not going to play these games at my local grocery store just to buy regular items that I can get from Amazon. I hope Vons rethinks this new policy.

VONS WORKER RUINED MY DAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY! Usually I go to Albertson’s because they have whipped cream icing for all their cakes. 🎂 delicious rave reviews every time. I walked into Vons and politely tell the lady hey I’d like you to write happy birthday on the cake that I picked. Her response” I don’t feel like writing anybody’s name on a cake right now. “ When was this ever an appropriate response to a paying customer? I ended up picking a cake with a little decoration on it since I couldn’t get her name and happy birthday on it. If you’re reading this review, go to Albertsons. Their cakes are very soft moist super tasty super delicious and the Customer Service is always on point. Vons’ cake was dry.

I went in today thinking I would get a slight club card discount, but the tag had expired 10 days ago! When I asked the worker why it was still displayed, her response was they do that all the time in the produce department.So rather than apologize, remove the now-expired tag, and honor the discount; she chose to throw her coworkers under the bus. Staggeringly unprofessional for her lack of concern / action, and for whomever is / was responsible for keeping prices updated.Also, they recent started closing at 10pm instead of 11pm, but by 9:30pm all the checkouts are closed except one, so be prepared for an interminable wait.

For being such a large Vons, they are constantly out of everything. Or at least hiding it away. Want meal preps, fresh peco, eggs, whole milk, eye care? Its wrapped up in back. Like all the time. Also one cashier with lines and lines of people. They clearly have business but they dont care. I wish I didnt live next to a ghetto Vons.And now their hours are getting worse. It really is the worst Vons ever.

The store is a little smaller than some other locations. The service at the deli was slow. They knew the line started to build up and only had one person on. The service at checkout was not customer friendly at all. My first time there I didnt notice the call for help button by the liquor. I thought you just go to the register and tell what you want. The cashier made no attempt to make my experience convenient. Instead I had to pay for what I had. Go back and Ring the bell for my liquor and get in line again. The customer service at this location is awful. They need training in being a bit more pleasant and realizing the customer comes first.

This store is a great grocery store those small it is a neighborhood store that hasmore than enough food for everybody! There menu of items is more varied than most grocery stores and Im pretty sure if you live in the neighborhood you can actually order stuff they dont usually buy if you want a special order it.MAATIN, tye security dude is the best! Not only was he doing his job but he went above and beyond to help me when I needed to find something in the store and for that I am very grateful to Vons for hiring such a sweet manSo I wish they did carry falafel Im glad that they covered other things and as I said the foods they carry at this store is more diverse than the people in our neighborhood. Even though it may cost a few pennies more for some things I would rather go to the store than any of the other surrounding grocery stores come by. Unfortunateley I live so close that I have to go here for groceries. The vibe is not so great. And I really do not blame Vons. It has security guards everywhere and tense employees. All based on the crowd outside. But they have great sushi prices and decent variety for a small location.

This is a go to market for us when we need something in a pinch. They typically have everything and the best is that Ive had some of the best, most positive folks running the registers when I check out. Its not every time, but when I do encounter one of these beaming folk, it just makes my day.You will sometimes see homeless as is somewhat prevalent in these parts of Long Beach, but Ive never felt unsafe. Vons almost always has a security guard out in front if there ever arises a need for them.

Luckily I was walking by the front door when I overheard a customer walking into the store and tell the security guard there was a bike on fire. Since my bike was the only one out there, I knew it was mine and looked and saw a guy working on burning the lock and the security guard literally just stood there and watched and I had to stop him myself. Then my lock was all burnt and stuck together and my bike would’ve been trapped if it weren’t for a Good Samaritan that got some pliers and destroyed the lock the rest of the way so I could get it out. They probably wait for that security guard to be on shift to steal bikes. I know they’re not responsible for other peoples property but you’d think he’d at least tell him to stop since he was 10x bigger than me. He knew I watched him stand there and do nothing and looked all awkward when he realized it was my bike he was just going to watch steal. Then he had the nerve to tell me I shouldn’t leave my bike locked up there. I don’t have a car and this is the best way for me to get groceries so thanks to that security guard I’ll never have a simple grocery trip again.I changed it to a 3 star, because there is one security guard that definitely watches over the bikes. And it’s pretty much just the one specific guard that sucked, the other ones actually have been on it so I didn’t think it was fair to leave it at a 1 star.

Visiting the area and came here for a few forgotten items. The selection was limited with many empty slots as others have stated.The positive is if you are visiting from another state and have an Albertsons or Randalls membership, your phone number will work here so you can get your discount price.

The woman behind the bakery/sushi counter accused me of whistling at her to grab her attention. I insisted I did not and my voice was gone and I was trying to say excuse me. She didn’t let it go, she was utterly offended. I even tried whistling when I got home to see if I can still do it as a joke with my friend and I can’t. Please get her psychiatric help. Don’t grocery stores have good benefits? She’s giving the signs of a paranoid schizophrenic.Side note. Check out lines take centuries.

Quite big branch of supermarket chain. Get have a Delhi inside offering freshly cooked dishes and roasted chicken (take away only). And endless shelves of food and fresh vegetables and fruit. The self check out is a bit strange as you have to return inside the shop to leave. Ive noticed they offer a loyalty card. Worth if you live in the area. Staff was really friendly and helped me find some items I couldnt find. Thanks guys.

The prices at Vons seem to constantly inching up day by day, while the customer service seems to be in a free-fall. The staff isnt exactly the friendliest, the aisles are too close together and theyre always out of what you need at that moment.》Vons isnt really all that and a bag of chips too!!《They have limits on their self-check out lanes now, Its an odd store, always a little on that busy side, just never enough help to justify the wait times or the prices.

Im not sure why this Vons is rated so highly. After using this store for for three months, Ive had it. Every time I shop here they are out of an important ingredient that I need for meal prep. No ground turkey, no rice noodles, no orzo, no mascarpone cheese etc. Im going to start shopping elsewhere in the neighborhood. I cant keep going to 2 different stores every week.Also, the front of the store is super sketch. They really need to figure out how to make it safer for entry.

They lie about their hours and maps wont post the real hours!they do not open at 5am, they open at 6am.never go an hour before they close because they shut down the self service lanes and only have 2 cashiers, it takes about 30 minutes waiting in line. otherwise, its a little expensive, but good quality items.still the same review, Google maps wont correct the hours and vons wont let you enter the store before 6:00AM.

This is the worst market in LB. I understand they have a difficult location, but they don’t bag your food, the carts wheels randomly freeze up in the store and if you have a kid this is a major hassle, everything is over priced. They deserve whatever shoplifting occurs. Horribly ran.

Horrible delivery service! Canceled 17 out of 21 items ordered. No notification. Except substitute on 1 item which also was not delivered. Full charges remained on my credit card; only 4 of the items were delivered.Could not reach customer service and no response on the chat box. Went to the store and spoke with a smirking person handling deliveries. She said she knew only computer entry and said its all automated.Very poor service. Did not bother to ask anyone else and just kind of left me standing there. Said charges reverse in a couple days & had no estimate on when I would receive a written confirmation of requested credit.Had to wait at store for a confirmation of cancellation and refund before leaving the store.

I really want this place to be better as its very close to my house.Pros:free parkingReasonably clean storeCons:lines are absurd, store is clearly understaffed.Deli is questionable sometimes (Ive seen flies on the meat slicer).Liquor is behind glass and when you finally manage to flag someone down they put it behind the customer service desk, so you have to remember you wanted it, and increases your check out time.I keep coming back because its close but then I remember why I go to Ralphs most of the time.Tonight was an awesome reminder why, literally 30+ people waiting to check out and only 3 registers open.

I went to Vons earlier today. Not sure if it’s because of the upcoming storm or not, but the manager Jessica was in the worst mood. I went to self checkout and had to request help because I got discount items. She asked what I needed and basically slammed some receipt paper into the coupon slot to have the machine think it’s a coupon. When talking to another lady who didn’t know how to use self checkout because it was her first time she said very loudly “Jesus Christ” while walking away. I ended up having to get a refund on some beans I bought because they were suppose to be covered by my reward points and the manager literally said to me and my boyfriend “You want to return the beans you just bought 5 minutes ago?!!” Not really sure why it matters why I’m returning them, but she gave me attitude about it. Honestly probably won’t come back to this store, I rather go somewhere else where I’m not treated poorly for simply wanting to return something that I was overcharged for in the system. 🤷‍♀️ Beware of this location, your money is better spent elsewhere.

Every time I shop here, there’s always 2or3 people who is ignorant and say “he is not blind. No, I’m not blind I’m visually impaired. Just because I’m visually impaired doesn’t mean I need to deprive myself of eating. This is a descent store that is close to me and every time I’m in the store, somebody’s always disrespectful to me, or saying something that they don’t know about me. This will cause me to tell every disabled person I know to stop going to Vons, because of the abuse and the verbal abuse, and the mental abuse that I am receiving from the employees. I do not feel comfortable to ask for help because every time I ask for help somebody is gonna put me down because of my disability, and something that they cannot see.

I love this Grocery store it had allOf the necessities except mascara. Not much in the beauty department but everything else was great. The ground beef here is amazing. It’s the perfect size store to get what you need and get out quickly. Great location and parking on the garage made the visit quick and easy. Vons Downtown Long Beach - I was there today, Fri Aug 4, 2023 and was shocked to find flies on food in the deli, vegetables and fruit, and meat sections. The room temperature of the store was at least 78 degrees. I told one of the employees who informed me that the manager had already gone home and it was 2 pm. This is the first time I have experienced any grocery chain that does not follow the required store temperature. A Vons employee who works in the deli section told me that he/she has shown up to work at 4 am and it is about the same temperature. Bad management for sure!

Well laid out. Shelves used to be fully stocked but supply chain issues have affected random things and there are whole areas empty. Seems like more of a rolling issue as theres always different areas of empty. If you think you might need something, get it because it may not be there in a few days. Make sure to use the Just For U savings and the rewards! There are always great deals. Still though, the store is clean and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Although lines can sometimes be pretty long, they usually move quickly.

Nice layout and great parking setup. However the people working there are often surly. Had my Vons app open to use on day - cashier quickly tried to scan and it didn’t work. They said that doesn’t work and wouldn’t try it again. Paid an extra $15 for groceries because cashier was in a bad mood.

I find everything here except some Asian items. We have the rewards cards but its still a little on the pricey side.I had a guy named Glen help me get checked out today. He seems pretty emotionless. I said hi, twice, I know he heard me cuz the checkout girl heard me and she was further away. And the guy behind me made a little joke and looked right at him when he said it. I was surprised Glen didnt react, I couldnt tell if he was mad or just didnt hear him. He seemed to not pay attention to anything except what he was doing, like scanning and such. Im sure he was a good worker, because he seems focused....and I used to be a cashier too, so I understand his position. As a cashier we have to acknowledge customers when they say something to us, especially a greeting. We should be tolerant, but dont ignore people. That seems kinda weird.Glen didnt do anything wrong, and Im not saying he has to Smile all the time and be intense, but it would help to be polite.

Its a vons and its fine if you dont have to go in the front doors.They let it be a real nasty collection of people outside between bike thieves, homeless and addicts. Dont expect security to do anything about it either. I literally observed a guy picking a bike lock, mentioned it to the guard and he told me it wasnt his problem. So remember part of your prices are going to security that literally do nothing.Ill shop there only as a last resort.

The store is deceptively large inside. It’s not dirty, but looks worn and dated. I went in to get 4 things and they didn’t have what I wanted. I was able to find a substitute, but not what I wanted. It’s ok if you live on that side of LB, but I’ll stick to my Ralph’s on PCH at the other end of town.

Good deli and Bakery have all youd expect. Chain brand pasta and salads are fresh and of nice variety, no chicken salad 👎🏾. Cheese choice are limited, not as expected. Sliced meats by the pound, plentiful, fresh, nice variety, and tasty. Butchers department meats, poultry and seafood fresh and frozen. Very limited stock. Service, Attitude and Knowledge below standards, basement level. Fresh fruits and vegetables and Organics are usually fresh and plenty, but not as big of variety as expected for this for chain and venue location. Floral department limited sometimes a wait. Plenty of parking.

Best grocery store around... ready to cook meals are affordable and taste great, good selection of healthy and unhealthy lunches and dinners. I get the bowtie pasta with basil for lunch often and it is about $3-4. sales on alcohol are amazing - 1.75 L Svedka on sale for 16.99...amazing. the selection of alcohol is pretty huge for a grocery store.

Normally, the only thing I dont like about Vons is their prices... But you must tipple check that their ready made meals come with instructions. I cant specially find (online or on the package) what I should cook this meal at. I couldnt find prices on fresh cut followers either... I didnt want to ask cause they were with another customer. I WILL say I LOVE how conveniently located and if you are savoy you can get in and out in a dash. :)

Constantly out of stock of VERY basic items (Im talking chicken thighs, fresh herbs, green beans etc.) and it always seems like there is never anyone on the floor to ask for help. Definitely seems like greedy management/owners need to step up their staffing (and probably the pay so they can actually hire and keep people) so the store can actually be usable by the customers. Have gone to Ralphs down the street after not finding (once again VERY) basic items in stock multiple times.

I used the self checkout today and the customer service was TERRIBLE! I work 60+ hours as a store manager and I have throughout the entire pandemic. I came in without a mask because I am medically exempt. We shopped without anyone asking me to put on a mask or mention that they were required. I would have respected her asking me to put on a mask. However I came in and she said to me, “Next time you come in you have to wear a mask. If I can wear one for eight hours than you can wear it for five minutes.” The level of disrespect I experienced in this store was enough that I will never spend money at Vons again nor will my two friends who were with me. They were appalled at the attitude we were given. As a store manager, I would have terminated anyone who treated a paying customer with that disrespect. That is NOT customer service. Pandemic or not you treat your customers with respect. If I could rate less than one star I would.

So I normally like this Vons for shopping in-store. Today I decided to try their pickup service. Ordered it at 1 pm for it to be ready to pickup 5-6 pm. At 4:45 I get a call saying it’s going to be late and asking if I wanted to cancel. I appreciated the call and told them it was no problem, I didn’t mind it being late if she thought it was for sure going to be out by the end of today. She said by 8 pm. At this point, I probably should have just canceled, my bad. At 7:30 I’m getting nervous so I call the store to see what’s up. Just got told that it wasn’t going to happen and that my order was canceled. I am shocked that no called me to let know that the food I was waiting for wasn’t coming. I waited almost 8 hours and I would have gone to the store ages ago if I had known. I have no issue with them having computer problems and not being able to fulfill the order, but be upfront about it, don’t make promises you clearly weren’t going to be able to keep. Other grocery stores in the area seem to be more on top of pickup/delivery services.

Its the same items over and over, so I was hoping theyd notice and adjust their ordering, but they dont. Its walking distance for most people and the parking lot on the roof was a major, major improvement over the old store. This Vons is always well stocked on all of their wares. They have an expansive selection of wine, craft brews and assorted liquor. There is an in house deli and sushi bar, along with a bakery where you can order custom cakes. They also have a decent floral area with a pleasing selection of flowers. I ordered a pick up and go order for 7 PM. I placed my order early in the Afternoon to ensure plenty of time for pick up. I waited until 7:30 PM and called to check on the status of my order. Upon entry of the store the lines were very very long with little check out stands open. The shelves were still baren.Homeless people have regularly used this Vons location for an enampment. Management nor security does anything to make sure the homeless people do not enter the store or surround the building. I once witnessed a homeless man with feces covered sweatpants walk right through the store past security.This is the only Vons location the relies on Instagram to update customers about inventory. I suspect that the real reason they boxes are stashed behind the customer service counter was because they wanted to leave shelves empty for the remodel. Sad and lazy.

I would normally get this place five stars cuz its clean and the employees are nice but my electric bike got stolen right outside of the huge window of the store it was locked up and everything management/security was no help at all and they could see out the window where my bike was the entire time so for them not to see someone cutting a lock with bolt cutters is baffling to me.

Very nice store and clean with enough parking spots. However, it ks always under staff. Typically you need to wait for 10-15 minutes in line to check out. But given that it is the only nice grocery store, it is better to go there

I love this supermarket. With my Vons card I get discounts all the time. Close to home, big selection. Recently, Mira I think her name was was at the cashier. She was so attentive. I later complimented her to a supervisor to find out Mira was the manager there. She and the staff at Vons are very nice. I shop for most of my items there, as I am a healthy Latin cooking chef. Thanks.

There are NEVER enough cashiers, no matter how few people are checking out. They are often out of stock on popular items. Their fruit is usually not ripe. You have to take elevators down from your roof parking spot to the store.

Good store with good stuff but Ive seen people steal bikes from right in front, theres crazy people outside the entrance. Seriously, if your not driving and parking in the roof I wouldnt even go in this place you might get jacked. Typical useless security, mad, overweight, not paying attention.

I didnt go to the market I went for the Starbucks they have inside.But it look clean and well stocked.I gave it 4 stars because the Starbucks was really good order a pumpkin spice Frappuccino and a pumpkin spice Brew they were both face that youre so good as the barista was really good at her job. Had very bad experience on the evening of January 9th 2020.I needed help at the bakery counter but was advised by the woman at the deli counter that the bakery team had already left for the evening. She was busy having a personal conversation with another male coworker and neither offered to help and told me I couldnt get the cake as no one was there. I knew which birthday cake I wanted and just needed a clerk to go inside the case and pull it out for me to purchase. I asked the 2 clerks if a manager could please come over and assist me...After waiting about 10mins for someone to help me, a very rude and unwelcoming person named Emily calling herself a Manager came over and rudely said the bakery was closed and no one could get the cake from inside the case. I had explained to her I need it that evening for a celebration but didnt need any decoration or lettering added to the cake, just needed her to get the cake out from the case so that I could purchase and go. She continued to refuse and repeatedly said to me the bakery is closed. I asked her as a manager why she couldnt go into the case and get the cake so I could purchase, but she continued to say she could not and that she isnt trained or allowed to help at the bakery, even though I repeatedly told her there wasnt any need to add any name or decoration to the already beautifully designed cake...She began calling me rude and presumably because I was dressed in a suit and tie she asked what I did for work and continued to talk down to me. After about 20 mins of this awful encounter she finally agree to go behind the counter and get the cake I had chosen from the beginning.I live a few blocks from this Vons location and have always has a very good experience whenever shopping there. The cashier named Heather and another cashier named John have always been exemplary at servicing me and all customers with our needs and deserve to be commended and promoted for thier professionalism and bravery especially during this pandemic crisis...I would have given 5 stars because of them but gave 3 stars because of my bad experience with Emily.Emily the manager should either be retrained or fired for her lack of respect and inability to properly and professionally service the Vons customer.

I love shopping here. Living in Long Beach, it can get hard to keep up with farmers market days and times. Whenever Im in the mood for some cheap organic or farm grown produce, I love stopping by Vons. They have the biggest variety in produce. And I love how diverse they are with ALL products! I also love their coupons system. You can really save a lotta bucks that way!!

I was looking for turkey sausage, couldn’t find it in the ground turkey section, I asked the man at the deli, his assistant who was talking to him and had his back turned towards the customers, started to ask him to help me he pulled his green hoodie up and tried to walk past me, I think his name was Jeff, he was incredibly rude, didn’t even look me in the eye or ask me specifically what I wanted had his back towards me the whole time and said it’s over there and there..really? Where is there, and did you even ask me what I was specifically looking for? This is why I never shop here and will continue to not do so. Teach your employees some customer service. This happened today at 1:00, this young man should be written up for customer disservice.

My complaint is with the csshiers, very slow in the evenings, this store ALWAYS has long lines. But one specific cashier really made me mad, middle aged Hispanic or white guy. I was in the 15 items or less line last Friday. There were about 3 people in front of me, all buying liquor, all looked to be in their early 20s. He greeted them, was friendly with them, didnt card them, asked them if they wanted a paper or plastic bag. When its my turn, he lets out a deep sigh, didnt say hello, never said a word. When it came down to the wine I was buying, he quickly asked for my ID, which I already had in my hand, then stared at it for at least a full minute. Gave it back to me, says do you want a bag or what ummm sure, I swipe my card. I look up and he gives me a handle less paper bag. When I said I wish I had the option for paper or plastic his response was well you should have asked .This was seriously my first time interacting with this guy, I have no idea what his problem was. I was dressed very nice but casual, didnt look like a bum. And I looked my age, late 30s, so I dont know what his problem was.

I have never seen more than 5 registers open at a time, despite having their 3s a crowd rule. People are always lined up single file, all waiting without direction thinking its all for the same register and none of the workers have ever corrected the situation the numerous times Ive seen it happen. There are only a few workers there that remember repeat customers, everyone else seems not to care about their impact on their workplace, the perfect drones...

Parking is easy on the roof and I find the staff to be typically friendly on this visit the manager went out of her way to help with a price discrepancy on vitamin water which was advertised in their sale paper. Priced with other like items. Rudy, the supervising cashier didnt give me the price. I shop there every week spending several hundred dollars. It was just $3 and would not hurt either of us to pay it however I didnt stock the shelf and considering it was one of those cardboard stands with nothing to make you think twice it was a decision he made that will cost the company thousands of dollars over the years I live here. Not to mentioned they never have enough registers open. Ill never be back!

One of the worst Vons Ive been to as they never seem to be fully stocked and dont have a wide variety for a lot of things I purchase (oat milk, organic produce, oreos, etc.). You should still be able to get all your shopping done but you might have to make some swaps.

This is the best grocery store in the area, but you are paying for it. The store is clean and the employees are usually friendly. Like must stores, they are heavily dependent on the automated checkout. Unlike the Albertsons down the street, there are usually no homeless or mentally ill roaming the aisles. Since this is Long Beach, parking is a huge issue so Vons built a large rooftop parking lot for customers.

Individuals the grocery stores/markets/take-out eatleries is a place of United States of America supreme and upheld businesss that allow social and shopping for what your body and or household is required to have in this Country. Do not enter these businesss with substance that smell foul, that is on your hands/shoes/clothes or can come from your body or belongings. Do not spray yourself before walking into the businesss or while walking thru the entrance and do not spray while shopping. Do not spray the products. Wash your hands before shopping. Wash away antibacterial/disinfectants from hands with only water. I shop here and is disappointed disgusted at the smells when entering an aisle and picking up a product to purchase or seeing the products destroyed. The products is manufactured in this Country or for this Country from another Country and for any individual to purchase while in this Country. The USA Citizenship and Citizens of this Country purchase all products when we want and those ingredients manufactured into a product is called USA ingredients that will not and can not be taken away. In the businesss scenarios has happened these ways: Products tampered with is to distract others for purchasing so that only a group or a selection of groups can purchase the items and that is wrong. Products are taken off the shelf and kept away until the product is rotten then returned to the shelf or kept away until a certain individual is going to purchase the product and that is wrong. Outside products are taken into the businesss by individuals, the businesss product is taken away and a outside product is put on the shelf because individuals want their Country products to sell but they do not have a business for shoppers and this violates Imports/Exports distributions and manufacteruring distributions within this Country. USA businesss have Brand named products not less Brand named products that both Citizenship and Citizen know even if the product is of non-English manufacturing. Citizens have Brand named products, manufacturing and distribution for and to this Country that is very well liked and has always been acceptable to purchase and eat or required to have in this Country. Some less Brand named products are acceptable but Citizenship and Citizen say and decide what we want then if the products are not acceptable we say take them away but first the Government approves the less Brand named products to be available and how for Citizenship and Citizen to know about before purchase and then we tell the Government not to have those delivered to purchase from that business and or Country because of not manufacturing correct. Some less Brand named products can be temporary or for something different but we dont want to waste. Like I purchased a less Brand name shower curtain to cover my belongings for the wet months outside then the plastic bag I kept for my book to cover. Some less Brand shower curtains can tear so you cant pull that alot so place that in a second bathroom where individuals dont shower to much pulling the shower curtain open and closed. Then purchase a heavy-duty shower curtain for the other bathroom shower that is pulled open then closed with each shower. The ways of United States of America is very serious, allows everything to be just as required, Citizenship, Citizen and others can have what is required without waste. Vons is a great place just as other businesss and they are all required to have things while being in this Country for Citizenship, Citizen and others to be a Business. No one want that to stop and have none or be without.

Ive never been greeted, even when encountering an employee face to face in an aisle. The lines are always long, and you do not get a friendly greeting or apology for their poor staffing, dirty conditions, or poor in stocks when you FINALLY get to a register. Its been this way for years. I wonder when the District Manager or Regional VP will be embarrassed enough to get a Store Manager that understands operations.

They offer several other services at this location such as key copies and western union. The vons itself is good, serves its purpose, and the staff seem polite. However, the 4/5 rating is really for the key copy machine and the western union service they provide. I recently went there to get a key duplicated and well, unfortunately, I have to strain myself sometimes to open doors with it. Now, the western union service requires you to have an online account already set up, so if youd like to do a traditional money transfer I would recommend you seek a WU elsewhere. Best wishes :).

Used to be my grocery store but its changed. Still way too dark outside the store. Seems to be out of stock more often than not and the cashiers are all new to me and alot of them are too young or not enough customer service training. Maybe its just me but when the cashier and the guy bagging are having a conversation and dont stop to acknowledge any customer. No hello, no anything. But feel comfortable throwing the word F**k into the mix more than once I think its time to go.
