Usually they do a pretty good job, however my wife and I purchased some seaweed salad and did not realize it was dated for 01/04, also the man named Brett bagging our groceries kept continuously coughing without covering all over our groceries during checkout. Overall gross experience

While most major grocery store workers are rude and indifferent, this Vons is one of the worst. Im not sure why the people pulling the on line orders are so rude, but in this store, theyll run you over if you get in their way. God forbid you ask a question. Theyll ignore you as if theyre too good to answer. I wonder if they realize theyre pulling groceries not curing cancer. Rarely enough check outs open even during peak time. Shelves are often empty. If other stores carried what I need, Id never step foot in there again. I dont understand why everyone that works in this store is so miserable.

Produce was out of the small watermelon cups. I asked Tyra if there were anymore she went and had them cut up some more located me in the store and gave me the cup!! I really appreciate what she did, it was thoughtful and kind. She was AWESOME!!

The Starbucks inside it nice, they have a table so it’s like a real Starbucks not a grocery store kiosk Starbucks. And vons has bathrooms without a combination lock or employee key to enter.

Typical grocery store. If youre buying alcohol it could become a pain when there is only 2 check stands open and their busy. They dont tend to call any help or the front so be patient. Overall the store was clean and well kept.

This is the worst grocery I’ve been to in long time . Each and every time I come this place they’re so rude, it’s really disrespectful . The cashiers are rude, the produce department is rude, the stockers are extremely rude and do not like to be bothered . The person who puts the carts back was even rude !! This will be the last time I shop here . I won’t be spending my money at an establishment that so rude .

Review from 3 years ago: I like that their deli is open early like around 8am. The staff at the deli and bakery are always nice and helpful. I wish the meat counter had a bell or something to alert the staff when they are busy prepping meat. The staff that stock the shelves are very helpful and actually go look in back if you ask if they have anymore. The cashiers also know what they are doing.Update: Recently they have hired a lot of new staff. They are friendly and try to be helpful but they clearly arent experienced. I used to love coming here because everyone knew the store inside out, but now its kinda hard to get someone whos knowledgeable enough to help with out-of-the-ordinary questions and requests; though the managers are very accommodating to the customers. They also arent as prepared as they used to be in the mornings, Im not sure whether its due to the new staffing, or they have been cutting hours, or they have been taking more time to clean due to Covid but its not as convenient to do morning runs anymore because I just end up having to come back later when things are ready.TIP: This Vons has the best beef cuts in the area. Steaks, stew meat, ox tail, ribs... really meaty and fresh.

They dont take care of customers. I ordered a cake and picked it up right before my adult sons surprise party. It was a Raiders football theme so all decor was black and silver. The cake was a Raider Nation logo and it was not black and silver. It came out green and blue. It was computer printed so I dont know how that happened. I had to keep it because his party was that day. Ive been trying to get a refund ever since . Customer service told me to just go to the store for the refund but they give me the runaround every time I go. Its ridiculous. Online they tell me one thing but the store says another. Im very unhappy.

Good quality products all around and a well maintained store.Great people and great service.Usually, making a run to a warehouse store for bulk items and then a stop at Vons for everything else takes care of most of our shopping needs.The pandemic got us to try the online shopping. It is really convenient and efficient. We may continue to make use of that if they keep it going, as it is a great time saver.Have been a customer for years and hope to be for many more.

The staff who work the meat dept. do a GREAT job ... Overall great store. Very clean and Vons pharmacy has a wonderful staff. I appreciate the short waiting times and Karinas friendly service. And their pharmacist Jeanette has always been so sweet and very knowledgeable. By far the best costumer service in Palmdale.

Always great variety of quality food and never disappoints.Deli and bakery peeps are the best!The main manager is very accommodating and truly focused on giving great customer service always opening up new lines to get people through and getting items in three store you request. Store is always clean!The newer employees there seem happier than the ones that have been there for years. That probably goes with any business.I minused a star because they are a little higher in price on average than say Walmart, but if you are diligent and only purchase their deals it evens out.But Rancho Vista Vons still rocks!

They are trying, in my opinion . Shelves are pretty well stocked, Lines can be long at times, albeit they move pretty quickly..I went today... Good selection and generally plentiful....Except, no bags!!!You cant bring bags with you either.I might suggest you leave some bags in your car...At the very least you can put your grocerys in bags in the parking lot

I always enjoy shopping at this Vons compared to my Vons closer to home. I go on Fridays for Fab 5 and the $5 sushi. I have never had any issues, clean environment, sushi always fresh.The reason why I gave it 3 stars was not because of something that happened to me but another customer. Pretty observant to my surroundings and I saw an elderly lady walking back and forth in between the end of the aisle and the front registers. Her hands/arms were full because she most likely came for one thing and did not plan on more (it happens). I saw her walk back and forth like 4 times like she was lost but with all of the things in her arms. She passed by the girl that many times concentrating on trying to find her last item so she can get out, an employee walked by her and neither one of them had the nerve to get her a basket. I got out of line and closest was a hand basket. I sprayed it clean and helped her with placing her items in the hand basket. I still offered if she needed a shopping cart I would go get it for her. She was thank full and it seemed easier for her to concentrate on getting the last thing she needed. It is nice when people help each other out but I expect more out of the employees to be more observant of their surroundings especially when things like this happen. I am dissapointed in this Vons because I go out of my way just to go to this one. I hope they read this and truly improve. I will be back and trust me I will test it out.

Excellent service. You get what you pay for. They really do better than the local competition. Is is becoming increasingly rare to have someone bag your groceries. Not only does Vons still provide this service, but as I was loading my vehicle, a worker started helping me load my car without any request. He just jumped in. It was amazing. Vons is a real classy business.

My favorite grocery place—clean, welcoming, very well staged. And a major shout out to the staff!! I misplaced my wallet last time I was there and Adriana, Isaiah, and Arcelia (hope my spelling is close) went above and beyond to help me find it and get me checked out without holding anyone else up in line. I couldn’t believe how calm and positive they were! This has always been my favorite place to food shop and thank you all for driving that point home again and again. See you next time.

Their fresh baked French Bread available between 4 and 7 pm is amazing. Picked up a loaf for home made sandwiches on my way home from work and even my 3 year old enjoyed a sandwich. Great produce selection and friendly, helpful staff.

This has got to be the worst Vons Ive been in... They dont know how to keep their shelves stocked (even before the pandemic), if you dont eat insanely processed food their selection is shoty (especially the O Brand, ironically), and they put things in illogical places. The staff is really friendly, and the store is plenty clean, but thats all it has going for it. I honestly dont know why I still shop there.

The store is set up nicely but its to crowded and the employees seem over-worked or something. They show a tired attitude. The cashiers ask courtesy questions but give the impression they dont really want to know the answers. The baggers seem to be very friendly, interested and smile.

This VONS location is always clean and offers a variety of services from pharmacy, to deli and flowers. The employees have always been helpful and their prices are reasonable. I drive an extra 20 minutes just to go to this store because of its quality of produce and different offerings not available at all VONS stores.

Im grateful we have a local Vons, and they had most of what I was looking for. The staff are kind and want to be helpful, but they didnt know where things were located. Both female managers are horribly rude and discriminatory! I was treated like trash both times I visited this awful store. I notified them that they were breaking the law and their response was immature and borderline psychotic. Dont ever give this store a penny of your hard earned money. On a side note, one of the managers was smoking pot on the side of the building when there was a very long line in the store ...never again!

I only come to this particular Vons because its near my home. It has everything I need. However, the staff can be rude and it makes me not want to shop here as often. The vegetables and fruits are fresh here all the time so thats a plus, which is why I am rating this place a 4 star, maybe with friendlier staff this place can get 5 stars!

I go to this Vons multiple times a week. They have a Wells Fargo, redbox, and Starbucks inside as well. Their deli people are always kind and the cashiers are usually cheerful, nice, and helpful. I like that its clean and has a couple self-checkout kiosks for quick purchases. Their produce, especially the apples, is top notch quality.

Visited the Vons at 3027 Ranch Vista Blvd, Palmdale, CA. I purchased some deli chicken, cantaloupe and Honeycrisp apples. Unfortunately, the cantaloupe and Honeycrisp apples were lacking. Catoloupe and apples had bitter taste. I tossed in garbage.Beautiful store, courteous employees however produce dept not consistent with quality.

Vons is always a great store to shop at, ( atleast the one on Rancho Vista is). The store management there must be very goof as the employees always seem cheerful and are always very helpful, asking if your finding everything ok, or, if you need help finding the direction of an item you may be looking for. Only wish their prices weren t so high and that you didnt have to buy large quantities of certain items to get the sale prices. Am a household of two and dont always need that many of certain items.

Price gougers. Ive used the Glacier Water machine outside their store for 4 years. then suddenly they just now decided to turn it off, and a sign that says for your safety bla bla.... Thats BS! Theres no more risk from that machine then any item in the store. Could it be that 5 gal only cost $1.75, but inside the store that same amount of water costs about $15.00?? hmmm I wonder.

I came in the day before Easter to grab some things for dinner. I am from out of town and spending the holiday with family.I was at the meat counter waiting in line. This guy named David was helping a family. It was taking a little while, but I noticed David was interacting with one of the family members who had special needs. He was patient and gracious. As the father of two sons with autism, this made my heart swell.David carefully listened to the young ladys question and answered it and took professional care of her requests.When he helped me, he was on point, polite, engaging and professional.I dont know if Vons will ever read this, but if they do, that guy David is a solid employee.

Worst service EVER. As a Caucasian woman with two children (ages 3&5) I was checking out and got the worst service by a woman I found out later was a supervisor, and a grocery bagger that needs retraining. I went in and my children love the kid themed carts- well theirs was broke down and bent.When I went to check out I was using EBT and being in CA we have the grocery bag laws. I wanted plastic bags.When I was checking out this supervisor, Arcelia asked if I wanted bags. I told her I was paying with ebt and it was ok to charge me, and that I would pay for bags.She instructed the bagger who was a younger man with dark hair to give her paper bagsI said no, please, I would like plastic, Ill pay.She says well, theyre .10 and EBT only gets paper.I told her please, I said I would pay, can I please have plastic?I finally get the plastic bags, pay my 20 cents, and then the bagger puts the bags as far away from my cart as possible, the supervisor asks me repeatedly if I need help out when I have to walk all the way over and get my bags, as I politely say no thank you over and over-It was EMBARRASSING. And when I go to the car I found out the bagger put my berry pie on THE BOTTOM of the bag, he crushed it, along with my Red Bull, and hamburger buns. I cant go in again in fear of more embarrassment.I pay extra on groceries and even for bags for service to help because I have two small children, and I got embarrassed and snubbed by Vons workers. I hope the way they treated me made them feel better about whatever in their life is so bad that they have to put a struggling single mom of two down in front of everyone.

Maybe is just me..i bought a doppio and after i finished i went back(while still shopping) to get refill of regular coffee..and i was told NO and was charge $2.55 if i wanted well i was willing to pay .50 but Im a gold member..I never had this problem neither here Palmdale Vons nor Lancaster..i always got my free refill on regular coffee..Please correct me if im wrong if not please re trained staff at Starbucks on Rancho Vista...and my apologies to the manager who told me no..Myrene..
