Today is June 14th, 2024 I used to like the store. It was easy to find things great prices in someway some form always getting customer service help but today was probably one of the worst days I’ve ever been there. It was probably the second time to be quite honest that I got no customer service. The guy at the self check out was very rude. The price kept jumping up on the self check out. I had a gift card that was worth $4.99 that item that I bought was bagels and they were $4.99 and then on top of it it kept jumping up he ignored me and Tommy keeping your car. I don’t know what to do. I can’t help you he said I can’t help you. What do you want from me? That’s the last time I’ll go there and I will let my family and friends know not to ever return to that disrespectful and horrible customer service. I even asked the guy where the cream cheese was and he pointed and he said I can’t take you there with you. No, it was the same guy working he said open your eyes maybe you’ll find cream cheese I said can you assist me and he’s like no he said just open your eyes you’ll find it and I said by the yogurt keep walking past it. That’s the very last time that was the most rudest store ever horrible I know the other vans up on route as well, I’m over you guys to be quite honest. RUDE AS HELL!!!

Vons used to mean value, customer service, cleanliness also well stocked and great employees. For some time I’ve noticed it has gone downhill! From older people getting robbed on the parking lot, to dirty parking and in the store craziness. Change of management lately? Like going on a year now it’s gone downhill. I cannot understand why they have had new managers left and right. Now not even enough staff and their “Drive-up” order has gone to the gutter. Whether it’s the app that doesn’t work or the employee isn’t coming out with the order it’s all a mess. Going to this grocery store is now a chore I do not want to do! Specially after work, to go and stress at Vons on Inglewood and Marine to deal with carts everywhere, have to get out of the car to move the carts then park then run in the store to only have 1 check-stand open with more than 10 people in like and the self check out to have only 2 registers working and 4 people in line seems like such a drag! It seems Vons is losing their value and even their app “values” aren’t worth it! Northgate seems to be better staffed with a lot more variety! I know I’m not the only one feeling this way.

Make sure 2 bring ur own bags or b prepared 2 pay 4 them.Things r quick & easy 2 find,bathroom- u need a code, usually they rnt very clean. Adequate amount of registers open & self checkouts. Security watches very closely, might even catch them following u near exit doors.

Vons near my neighborhood by Hermosa Beach has gotten more and more stinky in the produce sections!!!!! This location on Inglewood CA 90278 was beyond covid 19 horror on 5/22/24!!!!! Had few items to shop for: grade AA wht eggs, wht corn tortillas and wht vinegar, couldnt find eggs neither the distilled vinegar walked aisles and aisles in the stinky store, produce was the culprit filling entire store with COVID19 stuffy heavy AC air! Why is Vons Redondo unable to shop at?? It was close to 1pm in the afternoon when i shopped, 15min of covid contagious lethal air, my back got severely achy even as i typed this review 10pm in my house. Never shop at Redondo Vons again!!!!!

Vons is among the best grocers in California. The food prices are on the higher side but there in the ball park most of the time. They carry very good quality products. The employees get us in and out quickly. The produce and meats are fresh and large assortment to select from.

I hate coming here. There is always a long wait to check out and the cashiers are always rude or with attitude.My cashier today was Amy, Hi, Amy!After watching her and the lead cashier be rude to a customer ahead of me who wanted to do a cancellation on their checkout. My turn comes and she tries to make a little conversation. I am just getting off of work. I am tired and after waiting in line for 30 minutes to check out, I don’t want to converse. I could see on her face she was annoyed, she finished scanning my items and proceeded to shove them down to the end without even attempting to help bag one item. I watched as she bagged all the other customers items that were in front of me but not mine. Then got even more annoying because I was taking my time.Anywho Amy, you should watch the attitude because one day someone might have an even worse day than whatever day you’re having and might not be as calm as I was.

Always clean and tidy, which is a must in a grocery store. There are many dirty stores of all kinds around this very store but when you walk in you cant tell. It looks like a breath of fresh air and the staff is friendly and helpful. We need more grocery stores like this.

I can’t believe that there wasn’t a long line since the hurricane is coming tomorrow. Water, battery and flashlights were well-stocked. Every other store was packed but this one wasn’t. This store was clean and my cashier was nice.

This Vons is one of the best in Los Angeles! You can smell the freshness when you first enter the building. Shelves are stock so well, and the store is arranged very good. Please try their deli, the wings are the bomb 💣 with the Hawaiian Rolls and a soda 🥤 especially for a quick lunch.

Good deals with the app! Love that they have self check out. And quick linesMy fav store and fav Vons but lately their late night security guard has been an absolute creep. Im the only person in the store yet he keeps walking into me while I try to shop. I mean Im tripping out if the way of my own walking path because hes walking right into me. Then he blocks the check out lane as I approach it. I cant hear him due to air pods and full arms of heavy stuff that Im dying to put down on the belt. Its very unusual and creepy to act like that as no other Vons employee has been up under me like that. this person was unsual and sus. And suites NOT be a security guard.And the Vons employee I see all the time just shrung it off. Please I wanna walk up to pay not entertain no strangely beard creep.After consideration I wont be returning to this location at night and will frequent other similar grocery stores with more trust worthy staff.

Its always fully stocked, clean and very helpful store associates. The cashiers make the check out experience easy, even when the lines are 4-5 people deep - when I arrive after waiting in-line they thank me for being patient. Ive been going to this Vons location about 10 years without having a negative experience. Occasionally I have to use the restroom and its always clean and well kept too.

Very poor experience. Drive up order was marked as delivered (it was not) so I called the store, they put me on hold and then hung up on me. Then I had to go into the store with my sleeping son to get them to acknowledge the error and finally bring my groceries out. All in, it took 30 mins - for what is supposed to be a quick & easy experience.

Great location, plenty of free parking. Great floral department, often buy roses that last several days. Good selection of fresh produce and bakery items. Ive ordered cakes several times and they are delicious. Love the bagels from the bakery department and they are the only ones I bring when sharing for work. Friendly staff.

This location which is across the street from my nail technician was great. I could easily find what I wanted and became ambitious to self check which was a little tedious. You cannot ring, bag and keep ringing. You must ring, pay and then bag due to the scales. This causes the clerk to really work more than needed to reset the register.

The operation and service is pretty typical of most supermarkets in Southern California.But I must give particular credit to the people that work in the meat department. For years they have helped me when I had special requests. They help me select an entire rib roast each year for the holidays. They will make special cuts if you get them advance notice. Its a decent location, however there only ever seems to be one cashier for anyone who has more than 15 items. Lines will back up 4 to 5 customers deep and if you attempt to use an express checkout lane with too many items you run the risk of customers huffing and puffing about it. I highly recommend this store. I am a devoted customer that frequents this Vons store at least three days a week. The reason I keep going back is because this store is always well stocked with what I need, the store has great deals, it is very clean, the cashiers are my family they are soo polite friendly and helpful. Whether i need pampers for my baby, or some soup for my cold Vons is always there for me and my family.

I hate the new Vons app. You can get many of the sale items discounts by just entering your phone number which is fine with me but I dislike the Vons app deal. Some of the sales are not extended unless you use the app. The manager here was really nice and helped to still save money on steaks I bought but I had to wait to call customer service because I left my cell phone at home. I love Vons they are excellent but I am not a fan of the App on the phone required for some of the deals. It is not so convenient.

I live close by responds Market and the best thing I can say is that the parking lot is free but you have to be careful because peoples if in and out. The market never seems to feel actually clean enough and I often go to other markets because the variety and cleanliness are more appealing. Attitude of Staff varies but somehow the energy in the store doesnt quite make it for me. Even though its literally a couple of blocks away from me I will often choose to shop elsewhere.

Ive been shopping at this Vons location for many years. Great service, well kept aisles and product placement. Fresh fruits and vegetables are an important part of my diet, so shopping in a store which has them is important. Also, the fresh flowers which i buy quite often, are wonderful. I shop here at least once a week, the Vons Club helps to save me money. Actually, I look forward to my visits because I know Ill find what I want & need with lots of checkout lanes open.

I purchased a sandwich platter and was really dissatisfied with the services. 1st off they replaced the hawaiian bread sandwich buns with this new salty pretzel bun. If you guys can bring back the hawaiian bread bun that would fix the problem. Also, where is Claudia ???? She normally fixes our sandwich platter every other month and I buy them frequently and would spend a lot of money on them. She makes them the best but the hawaiian bread needs to come back and please discontinue the pretzel bun its way too salty

This is a busy location however they offer self checkout and every time I shopped I was able to go and check out with no waiting with the exception of one time. The employees were all kept busy but they were still friendly and helpful. The store was always clean in appearance inside and out. I purchased lunch meat from the deli and it was a lol pricey but no more so than any other place however the quality was fantastic and the meat was fresh and very tasty! The produce department was good too however I wasnt able to get cilantro because it was out. I was in a hurry so I didnt ask if there was more in stock cuz I just instinctively knew I could stop in the next day and grab some and sure enough the cilantro was fully stocked. Plus there is a really goodwill next door so I enjoyed the opportunity to do a walk through it incase any new treasures had hit the shelves lol

So here goes. Its a supermarket, its more expensive than most others and hardly carries half the products it used to. The meat is way too high for the quality of cut. The the shelf stockers are always in the way and rushing past bumping into you and leaving carts of misplaced products in the middle of the isles unattended. Usually during busy periods. The lines are always long and half the registers always seem to be closed. So... yeah 3 stars being generous for the handful of great people who work there. God bless em.

Honestly for a grocery store its subpar. I understand CA has a ton of people but the store is regularly out of items like chicken thighs, almond milk, cheese, and a few other things. Also the fruits and veggies dont last for more than 2 days at home before getting moldy. Also it always seems that there are only 2 people working registers, so getting a full cart can be frustrating going through self checkout. I frequent Vons about once a week and its always missing little things like this. Otherwise if you just shop day to day or week to week I would recommend.

This store is one of my favorites. Been coming here for years. It can get really crowded most mornings. I tend to shop late at night just before closing up as the whole store is empty at that point. The staff are all really friendly and services are great. The only downside to me shopping late is that the deli and meat departments close up so I have to try and go in earlier for those days. I know theres tons of bad reviews here but I have never encountered a bad experience here.

Vons at 6p.m. is crowded, unless you absolutely have to go, dont go. I saw a lot customers with masks down on their chins, and not observing the directions marked for their safety. I have to give credit to the employees they are doing their best to keep folks distanced and moving at a fair speed through the registers. Though, it took me 20 minutes to get help in bakery department.

This Vons has good selection, but they always seem to be low on checkers. In evening times when it is busy it is common to only have 2 checkers and a very long line.It is actually a little better now with COVID measures in place to force a single line to the checkers so that you arent super delayed by one checker going on break. Overall good groceries, but poor customer service.

Spoke to the store director Alberto who flat out told me there’s nothing they can do and would not override or honor the discounts from the ad. Alberto had a frustrated and poor attitude as well. 10 yrs as a customer and this place has gone worst and worst. A few weeks a go one of the managers (alberto)was helping bad my items.. He came in after the water and. Juice was in my kart. He started questioning the cashier if she had rung the juice after multiple times asking he made me feel as if i was stealing the juice. Im sorry but if im going to steal something it wont be a juice. After i paid the cashier was paranoid and said she couldnt find it in my receipt i had to go out of my way take the receipt and show her she did. To the fact that both the cashier and the manager helping bag my items did this infront of my kids was extremely frustrating and the fact i had to explain to them what had happen was more disappointing.

Still wanted to act like somehow Id done something wrong and that he was right even after finding out the truth!! This has become my favorite market since moving to the area. They have an app to clip coupons and have extra perks plus savings for your grocery needs. Carts are always sanitized outside, still wipe your own of course. Not a lot of staff from what Ive seen in my visits. Produce is expensive here and you will not get value for your dollar. 1 pound of tomatoes or oranges is almost 2$ per pound, while competitors are 2 pounds for 1$. Limes are pretty pricey trending at 70 cents each!, while others are 2 pounds for a 1$ thats like 6 limes. Keep that in mind.

Irvine Market in the Vons lot. Excellent produce with great prices! Piles of fresh spices like tarragon and rosemary at $0.79 each! Wonderful exotic spices in packets on the wall. Got some frankincense for a few dollars. Lots of great food at great prices! What an adventure!

Although I shop here regularly, I do not enjoy shopping here for the following reasons:1. They NEVER have enough checkers. Although theres a sign that says 3s a Crowd...well open up a new line whenever there are 3 or more people in line, its more common to see a line of 10+ people clogging up the front of the store and only 2-3 lanes open.2. There are frequently people out front asking for donations to charity. Im never sure if its a legit charity or a hustle, so I have to cross the gauntlet on my way in and out. Some of these people stand directly in front of the doors making it impossible to avoid. a3. The parking lot is difficult. People speeding around, trash, etc...4. The deli doesnt have much to offer...certain cuts of meat are very fatty. I frequently see Tri Tips that are more fat than meat. Im essentially paying for extra pounds of fat that I trim off anyway. No thanks.5. Gift Cards / SCRIP - I buy scrip through my church as a fundraiser. A small percentage of the scrip goes back to the church. The cards I get (in denominations of $100 and $250) NEVER work at the Point of Sale (P.O.S.) machines. This is due to Albertsons corporate buying Vons and their systems not aligning yet. To make my SCRIP cards work, I have to go to customer service, have them transfer the balance onto a Vons gift card, and then proceed...In about 10 times, this has only successfully happened once and Ive had to resort to abandoning a cart and driving to Lawndale Albertsons where the cards work and the personnel can figure out the balance transfers. My personal favorite experience was when the checker told me they could do nothing because the cards were most likely fakes...

Very dirty one check out open at 4pm ? Very long lines due to cashiers talking and slow production is the bittle neck ....Employees complain but i really dont see a pep in their step and they have a JOB !! wow went down to dirt

Horrible evry time i go cashiers are extremely slow and always socializing with eachother and verry rude the woman cashier keep reminding me my iD is going to expire like she cant wait till the day she tells me i cant buy alcohol so be ready to wait 30min in line horrible store!

Prices are very high and the store lacks a variety of healthy & organic options. But, if alcohol is what youre after, then youll be impressed.
