Customer service is awful and your lucky if you get any, most of the time your in self check out being coached how to do it for some reason. They are a couple cashiers who are always friendly and helpful. Overall I hate this store and hate that it is the closest one to me and will gladly drive to Tustin just to have a better store to shop at.

Able to clip and use digital coupons. Great selection of pretty much anything you can look for in a grocery store. They were out of one specific item I was going to by but otherwise got everything I needed. Still a little more expensive than my regular grocery store but food and produce was fresh and good Ill go back.

Come here sometimes when I coach. Like the way they make their sandwiches at this location. Every Vons seems to be different so I dont always care for how they make them.Conveniently located and great staff.

Every once in a while someone makes an effort that truly makes a difference in your day. I had such an experience last Saturday with Claudia in the bakery department at the 130 W Lincoln Anaheim Vons.I desperately needed a Bluey birthday cake for my 2 year old granddaughters birthday. She was visiting from out of state and we made a last minute decision to celebrate one week early on Saturday, her last day here, so our whole family could celebrate together. At 6:30am Saturday, I started calling each Vons bakery to see if this was even possible. The first 5 stores I called said they needed 24 hours notice, as this was their usual policy, and none were available to make the cake for me by 5pm that night. That is, until I reached Claudia on my final call. Claudia immediately asked me if Id accept an 8 round cake, as she had a fresh one available, and not only did she agree to decorate it with the Bluey design we requested, but she said it would be available by noon. She then mentioned that due to a morning parade causing local road closures, I might even want to come a little later to avoid delays. I was ecstatic!!! Not only was she going to make my cake, but her thoughtfulness in communicating the potential traffic delays was something I sincerely appreciated due to my busy day of last minute party planning.I picked the cake up shortly after 1pm, the parade was over, the cake was ready as promised, and it looked absolutely adorable!! My granddaughter was entranced when she saw her favorite Bluey on the cake, and thought I was the best grandmother ever! It would have been so easy for Claudia to tell me no, but she didnt. What a special contribution she made to our day, and what a special memory she helped create for our whole family.

Only reason I’m giving a 1 star is because I can’t rate 0 stars. I came here 10 mins before closing and the bagger said “there’s not enough time.” I told her I have 10 mins and I just need to grab something really quick. She proceeded to shut the door. Definitely haven’t ever come across customer service this terrible and rude.

This vons location is great for groceries! Lots of fresh produce and meats. Staff is very kind and helpful. My only complaint is the key copying kiosk machine at the front of the store. It gave me 3 non working keys, pretty much stole $20 from me.

Dont park directly in front of Vons. Too many cars, people.. too much riff-raff. Park off to the side or out in the boonies.The inside of this Vons is much nicer than the parking lot. The workers (Vonsies?) do a very nice job mitigating the riff-raff, maintaining a clean and safe environment in which to shop.The shelves are organized and well-stocked. The only one time that I couldnt find something was when I wanted to buy some banchan (Korean side dishes). On that day a bunch of guys who (work little but get paid big) from corporate were walking the store. I think the guy I asked about Banchan was a corporate guy. He said - Ive worked here for a bazillion years and Ive never heard of that. Is it really a thing? (Loosely quoted.) Ha!One thing i like about this store is the toy department. Im on a lucky streak lately, getting a lot of good Hot Wheels. ¡Me ecantas!

I frequent this Vons because its the closet grocery store to my house. Most of the employees here are great and are nice to my son and I when I go. However, today, just a few minutes ago I was chased down after I left the store by an employee who was watching self checkout after checking out. He asked for my receipt as if I didnt just pay for my items at self checkout. Didnt feel great to basically be accused of stealing seeing as Im at this store often and have spent a lot of money here.

I came in this morning to buy coffee and 2 gift cards for Father’s Day when a women asked to see my ID . I’ve never gone into a grocery store and had to show my id for buying gift cards . I asked her why does she need to see my id does she do this all the time . She said she does this for gift cards because there are scammers. I felt profiled . I gave her my id and my card which matched.. I called the store and spoke to the manager & he said it wasn’t procedure ….she’s an old time checker we used to do that . Mind you I went to the check out express line and there were empty spots but she said she could help me . She didn’t know what I was paying for . I can’t believe this happened today . There is an amiable staff here, especially Dave, who has worked evenings for years. Fast self-check-out lanes are available, and management quickly opens another line when it gets crowded. The produce is fresh, and I have never seen an expired item on the shelves. Ive found prices comparable to other grocery stores in the area. Items on sale are often exceptionally priced, frequently selling out.

Been here a couple times. This location is clean and well organized. They were well stocked and found everything I needed. Their self checkout machine is easy to use. Scanned, packed in bag, then paid. Prices are competitive as long you have the Vons members Club card which you can get by downloading the app. Without it can be overpriced and would recommend Walmart and/or Smart & Final if you dont like using or registering for some kind of membership card.Parking lot is pretty spacious since it shares one with US Bank and a few other stores adjacent to it.Didnt use any customer service so cant say if good or bad but can only assume by the benefit of the doubt that they would be good if help was needed.I recommend this location if you need to do grocery shopping and live near here or in the area.

While the store itself is perfect, clean & organized. However, the outside of the store is hazardous due to solicitors standing around and begging. They are overly AGGRESSIVE and touch unwantingly. Where is security? There should be security 24Hrs to be sure no one is standing around the store or anywhere near the store. This has been an issue for years. Public safety comes 1st. Especially, when these homeless transients threaten your life for not giving them money😡

Went today for some quick groceries..decided to pick up some fried chicken. When I got home and opened the paper back with chicken..it smelled bad! Like burned oil or dirty oil. Not appetizing! I had to throw chicken away and ordered pizza.. I have gotten chicken before and never had this experience. Hopefully this doesnt happen again again..I think someone got lazy and didnt change oil..and assumed customers wouldnt notice.

This store desperately needs more staff. Expect to wait at least 15 minutes at the service counters before anyone is available to help. The pre made deli food is regularly under stocked. The staff they do have are extremely nice despite being overworked.

This place is mostly good. It has a large selection of food and the alcohol section is nice. They kind of make a really big deal about it when you ask them to unlock the restrooms and one time the cashier carded a 50+ year old Hispanic man that wanted to buy beer. Other than that theyve been pretty good.

Apathetic staff and rundown fixtures and coolers. Expired products left on shelves and even in the meats. Every other grocery store in this area has been updated with new services and amenities while this one hasnt changed very much at all for years.UPDATE....The meat department has really turned around. They have a new display case that offers kebabs and sausages among other things. The staff is still a bit standoffish but there are a few that are friendly.Update....Things are getting better. Try the made to order breakfast burritos!! They are really great!

Sweet! They finally have self checkout! This so reduces wait times because it opens up about five extra registers. The store was out of the main item I wanted, so that was disappointing; no cinnamon vanilla creamer for my coffee lover husband. Customer service was great!

Very nice grocery store close to Center St. Downtown and Anaheim city offices. Close to the Packing House and Museo. Nothing negative to say just a bit pricey. Discounts and rewards available when you sign up for the card (you can also type in your phone number). They have a bakery, florist, meat and seafood counter, seasonal items, deli, etc. This store is very convenient and located in a center that has a Starbucks.

My husband bought me beautiful roses for Valentine’s Day! $114 roses that started welting the very next day!!! Also the roses came in paper vase that is already looking soggy from the water inside!! WHAT a HUGE WASTE of money!! I even went into the store and the manager said she wouldn’t give us a refund or even a discount !!!We will never purchase floral from this store again!! Super super disappointed since this is our local store

Store manager is awesome. Some workers are great, but others you can tell do not want to be there and it shows a little too much. And they dont keep certain things I like in stock often enough even though I have requested them several times.

I went looking for a particular item and they did not have it. Was extremely disappointed. Staff were very nice and helpful as I had to use one of their motorized scooters do to a broken toe. Customer in front of me in line was also very helpful in that she helped me unload my basket and I didnt even ask her to. So I would have definitely given 5 stars had they had the item in question

I am a regular customer at Vons in Anaheim on Linconln Blvd. However, tonight I am very disappointed with the service I received.I called at 8:00pm to verify the Delis hours, and the representative at the deli confirmed that they closed at 9:00pm. I arrived at 8:22pm tonight and was met with the representative I spoke to, as he clarified if I was the person who called about their hours earlier. He soon said the hot section was closed as of 8:00pm. I told him it was okay as I was looking for cold cuts. He then said, they just cleaned that section and it closed moments ago, this was at 8:24pm. I am left wondering what section of the deli was actually open for service as it seems they are systematically closing the whole deli before 9:00pm.I dont think it is too much to expect a chain store to close at their posted hours. It is a huge disappointment and very inconvenient to confirm the hours for store then drive all the way there to find they are closed 40 minutes early.I will think twice before heading back to this location.UPDATE-Since writing this review two store managers called concerned about the service I received and thanked me for my feedback. They are talking to the employee I dealt with, and is providing training and posting their hours, which is open till 9:00pm, going forward so as there is no more confusion.I appreciate being listened to, and action on my concerns being taken as a customer!

I was just here on Christmas Eve and had Jennifer as a cashier! She was really nice and very sweet! I had forgotten to ring something out that was pulled from the back And set aside for me to the front and she was able to assist me very quickly and politely! I love this Vons. The night manager, Tony, is very nice, hard-working, always at the register. Everything is clean and organized. Great products. I just wish they had pie. That is all it needs. Other than that it has everything and you can find great deals if you use your Vons card.

There are two young men that work the deli counter. They constantly overcook the chicken, fried, wings and tenders. Theyre always hard as rocks. Are they doing it on purpose so theyre not busy or do they need more training? At $10/lb for wings they shouldnt feel like rocks.

Place was crowded with too few employees. The only line that moved with efficiency was self checkout. Everything that was on sale, you had to buy multiples of to get the sale price. At least 80% of what I bought wasnt on sale. I ended up spending more than $40 on one bag of groceries. If it wasnt the closest supermarket to my location, I would have gone somewhere else.

This has been my neighborhood grocery store for over 10 years. Its clean, well-lit parking lot at night; the cashiers are always friendly and helpful. They recently went through a remodel you can now buy fresh shrimp, crab, poke and special cuts of beef. Ive even asked them order me lamb shanks (not something they usually carry) and theyve done so; just know it may take a few days for the order to come in.

This location is seriously impressive! When planning a trip to the supermarket, one if the first and biggest choices I am usually faced with is do I need a wide, varied selection of items from which to choose? Or Id my budget the main concern? Prices can vary widely between some stores. Or Am I more in need if the personal, friendly service I get at a small, locally owned market? Id have to visit at least 3 stores if I couldnt choose and had a need for each if these features.And I have done just that.Imagine my amazement and excited smiling face when I realized that this local VONS supermarket gave me all three of these--and so much more-- in the one quick visit I made here on this day.I got to try several new items of which ihad still never even heard up until this trip. I got great deals on everything from toothpaste to home made chicken noodles soup for my sick young adult son and his super amazing lady. Saving enough money I got us sone mymochi as a treat before I brought the sick kids their soups on my way back home.I hadnt been at this VONS in YEARS -- I only stopped here because it is in the neighborhood where two of my boys live. And Im so glad I did!What a wonderful surprise I got! Woo!

I love Vons and their customer service but they are really going downhill. I went to the bakery section to order a cake for my daughters birthday and was treated very rudely. The first lady, to assist me was being standoffish from the very beginning. I told her if she was busy I could come back,but she insisted she was not. (So she just treats customers as if they are a burden on her day) I asked her a few questions and she proceeded to ask me more than once if I was as going to order or not, as if I was wasting her time. I asked her to give me a second to check out what cakes they had available and to make it easier on her, I showed her a picture of what I wanted. She then brings another lady who wouldnt let me speak and sad idk to most of my questions. When I informed her she was coming off as rude, she starts talking over me stating otherwise, and walks away. Where is your customer service, Vons?! I could have gone to any other bakery and apparently I chose the wrong one. How are you allowing your employees to be condescending to your customers. I would like Vons cake, sure... but I do not NEED your baked goods. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

Excellent place just had one bad encounter a black security guard was harrasing me one time cause I painted my face with markers. Oh yeah if you do things out of the ordinary there are secret people that spy on you and they work for the city. No secret anymore. Vons grocery store is my personal favorite grocery store. The store is always well stocked and clean. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. The bakery makes fresh desserts daily. One of the best made fresh desserts is the cinnamon rolls. The deli will make you a made to order sandwich with all the toppings. Fresh daily chicken made throughout the day is also good.

Honestly the best place for flowers by far. Ive visited a countless number of places for flowers and they always lack variety or theyre too expensive. They also have a nice bakery selection with fresh deli area. Pricing for groceries is on the pricier side compared to the local competitors, but luckily the store itself is always clean and easy to navigate.

This isnt the worst grocery store out there; some things actually stand out. You can get a pretty good sandwich in their deli department, and theres a good selection of new items for sale just as theyre released. I can find new flavors of cereal and ice creams here...stuff like that.The glaring flaw with this store is the massive amounts of expired stock that you WILL encounter on every single trip here. Checking the expiration dates on your food is a good practice, but when you shop at the Vons on west Lincoln its an absolute necessity.The produce department is below average at best. Theres been times when nearly every variety of tomato was nasty and beginning to rot. The only place Ive seen more little flies was at the Whole Foods in Tustin. Selection is difficult because half the stuff is decomposing.The staff here are all cool, friendly people that are more then willing to assist you - no problems there. The main issue is that freshness isnt a priority in this Vons location.If it werent for the fact that I live so close, and gas costs so much, Id likely choose another grocery store for my shopping needs. This could be a better store if theyd rotate the stock.

One of the last Vons in the area. Checkout lines are always long and slow. This Vons is completely stocked with a variety of organic produce. theres always a security guard at night walking in and out of the store and parking lot when I go night shopping.Lots of homeless activity lately...

VONS your closing shift is amazing! I live right down the street and am SO fortunate for the stores hours of operation but even MORE fortunate for the employees that work the closing shift! I am so sorry i dont remember their names... I´m the girl that is always late and on the bike... Anyways I just wanted to acknowledge that even if I am the last one out of of the store or literally running in at 12:59 am - the staff has always been extremely kind and efficient. I wont lie this is better than Walmart because the employees have been there for a long long time. And unlike Walmart there nice and willing to help. Also they have I believe way more food than Walmart. They have tons of cool stuff. And the place is seasonally decorated. The ac is always fresh it never smells like a dead corpse is some where lying around. And there is always a security at the door. The recently got auto matic pay machines. Great selection of beer and liquor. I really love this place no rush. You can shop alone with no one following you or stalking you like Walmart. And tons a parking.

Worse choice for a lunch break.I spent 15 minutes in line as there were only two registers open. No one would open another although the cashier kept calling for help. There were people being allowed to carry full carts of food to the express lanes. Some lady three transactions in front of me needed multiple price checks, yet they didnt once ask her to stand aside.Long story short, I had to leave all my items on the conveyor belt without being able to be a decent human to return them because I had to get back to work. I dont get to eat until after 6 PM today.

Where do I even start? It seems like every visit I have to check my receipts for errors and there is always one. Their pricing from their ad doesnt always match up with what I am charged. Their app and their deals dont always sync up so I have to battle with the checker and show them the ad. The Just4U pricing is not always on the app. I was told that I have to check my emails and download the deal or scan or etc etc. Why make it so difficult Vons? If the deal is advertised, then it should be available thru my app. Why all the fuss to get pricing??The folks that work there for the most part are nice but wow! They have some that need customer service training.If this wasnt my local store, I probably wouldnt shop here as much as I have to.....perhaps with this new remodel, things will get better!

Really disappointed in my visit this evening and I normally dont have any issues in this store . My cashier was yelling at his bagger and the kid was doing the best he could and then my cashier yelled at another fellow employee who was helping a man in a wheelchair saying You should be done with helping him by now really rude. the bagger and the guy helping were doing thier job at giving great customer service and the cashier was flustered or something but not Ok to do

Ive always enjoyed shopping at a Vons/Albertsons because its less crowded for the most part, fresh produce and meats, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices are okay. If youre a Vons member, you get discounts. But Ill take the quality of product and service and pay the extra few cents.

This is the worst Vons I have ever been to! The baggers are either never there for you or do the worst job bagging your foods! Ive had bread get crushed several times. They have one checkout person most times and the line gets 7 to 8 people deep. A number of people have complained to the store managers about this but nothing happens. Many times they run out of bread! Its as if they all just want to do the bare minimum that their job requires. I only give it 2 stars because its the closest store to me. I usually drive further away to better stores.

Used the deli dept I believe for catering a small holiday luncheon, something they advertise that they do. Compared to Mimis the price was much better. On the day of, something happened with the oven, and they cooked the turkey early to be sure it was ready, and then it was extremely overcooked, and then nothing was ready or hot as it should have been. The ham was actually burnt, and the mashed potatoes were cold and soupy. It was really bad, they offered us a $40 reimbursement, which was about a 30% discount. Honestly it was so bad they should have refunded the entire thing just because they messed up so badly. The store as a whole is pretty good, but i would never recommend them for catering.

Speaking of the Vons in Anaheim on Lincoln Blvd. Nice people working there mostly. A few seem to be going through the motions. They didnt have a huge selection of bread when I went. This location has limited bakery items. Hot food from the deli was so so (might have been there a while). The store is clean and safe to shop in, not overly busy. They have a decent selection of organic produce and dairy products. We shop here whenever we vacation in Anaheim (getting main staples from Costco and supplementing cheese, produce, and a few other items from this store). I marked off for some of the staff and limited selections on certain items, but I still shop here and will continue to do so.

If they can make each row a duel sided parking lot then it would be way more efficient to park here.But I agree with everyone on here who has a problem with the shortage of cashiers. Im always seeing one or two open when the lines start piling up and no extra help is anywhere. Normally I would bring that to the managers attention but Im usually only here in a blue moon to grab needed items rather than wait till I get home which 6 miles away. Very clean grocery store. I live in Arizona. I was traveling to Anaheim and this grocery store is one neer the home we rented. If your are not from here this store is similar to a Safeway or Frys Food. They have everything from tissue paper to a good selection of beer and wine. The only problem I had is that I couldnt find glutenfree beer. I still kept the 5 star since one of the reps I asked looked and read most of the individual beer labels to help me look for a glutenfree beer. I ended up purchasing a very good cabernet and still left satisfied.Ps: bring your own grocery bags since they shave to change you extra. Its a California law.
