I like Vons in general. Mostly nowadays I order and pickup. Very convenient. Some of the things I observe with this arePros:Gives me the choice to edit the order until a prescribed time. Clear notifications on progress of your order. The order is ready for pickup before the specified time always. The pickup process is very straightforward.Cons:The app or their website needs improvement. No easy way to reorder items I did in the past on their website. Easy to make mistakes with the quantity since its quite slow and updates after you increment. Doesnt remember past substitution choices.These were options easily possible with other retailers.

Not a good experience at this Vons and will never spend my hard earned money here. The morning. Manager that I did not get her name, was an older Hispanic Female was ever so rude and disrespectful. No customer services skills whatsoever. Actually walked away from customer service counter as I was standing there waiting fir assistance.

Good selection and variety of groceries. Well stocked. Great produce department. Nice deli. Excellent pharmacy. Limited meat department. I really wish that a couple of the cashiers were friendlier. I want to feel less than an interruption in their day and more welcome as a guest.

I’m a big fan of Vons pavilion, whatever area I’m in, Von’s is always my go to but I mostly likely will never come here again. The store is very nice and clean however the service I received from the cashier made me feel very uncomfortable. Working super early to afternoon I don’t always look presentable but I don’t think it should reflect on how the service of a grocery store is. I noticed that the cashier “Dereck” greeted very nicely the two customers that were prior to me. As soon as it’s my turn he looked at me up and down didn’t even acknowledge till he was done scanning the items. His tone changed from how he talked to the other women as well. I felt like I was being judge on even my payment, which was WIC. I’m not sure if it’s because I didn’t fit the areas stereo typical racial features. As a proud Hispanic woman I will never change or act different based on the area I’m in. Dereck gave me an “ugh” face which honestly changed my whole shopping experience. I hope Vons can show their employees to being open and have more diversity.

It seems to me everything I approach the Deli section the fellas seem to quickly go to the back area, not want to help. Like they are doing me a favor to buy Vons deli meats. When buying salads they place their entire head into the glass case? Head hair. When we approach they do not communicate. The bakery depth. Has drastically improved the case is lit up white and clean. This Vons needs alot of improvements.

Nice place nearby for my everyday needs, including herbs on Thanksgiving morning. I dont usually make large purchases each time, but I do visit often, and therere always deals to be had.

Vons is amazing! The store is beautiful! Clean and well stocked. Friendly staff and great management. I love the Vons app. The rewards program is such a great way to save money. Clip your coupons, see your rewards add up for free groceries or get dollar off amounts towards your bill. Also your points add up for a reduced rate for gas for your vehicle. What a way to save all around! Times are tough and we could all use a little savings! Vons is a great place to shop and save.

Normally, the cashiers are smiling, talkative and very friendly. Today, Marlin did not say a word to me and had a very angry look on her face. I was taken aback and wanted to complain but needed to get my groceries home and run another errand. Her name tag shown supervisor or something to that effect. How someone like that is in front-line customer service is beyond comprehension.

I would have given 5 stars, but some of their cashiers do not have costumer service skills.How can you see a costumer stading at the counter waiting for someone to come to help him/her and ask, what do you want?👎👎👎👎👎The young lady with the black widow tattoo on the arm came to my rescue. It has a decent selection of items. Outstanding sections are the fresh flowers, deli, freshly prepared fried chicken and other freshly prepared food items. Where Ive had better luck elsewhere is with lower prices, fresher food on the shelves, and the cheerfulness of the checkers.

Deli staff is extremely slow. Expect a long line and more wait time when it is your turn. In addition, staff is grumpy. I have been here several times and same grumpy slow staff is there .

We are very disappointed with Vons. Every time we shop there they over charge. Whatever price they charge at the register is more than the displayed price. When we complain, they adjust the price and give refund. Every time you have to go through the hassle of requesting price adjustment and refund.

The checkers and box people are always friendly, but not all the people whom stock the produce and dairy are. They are not just unfriendly they borderline on being rude. Last week someone was so rude to me that Ive decided to shop the other market options around here. Im not looking forward to learning a new store, but if I spent $900.00 a month on groceries, I expect all of the employees to reasonably friendly.

Frequent pricing errors, charging more than what’s advertised or what’s posted on the shelves. When I find mistakes on my receipts, Instead of having a manager on site to fix the errors, they make me get back in line. The line is usually long. Tonight is the worse. The associate who helped me even refunded me for the wrong items. I usually shop at Ralph’s. They make occasional mistakes also but their customer service is lots lots better. I have to remind myself again not to shop at Vons.

I like this store. I do not write reviews but I needed to get this out. I stopped by yesterday and I was surprised at how many people they let in at once to shop AND that there was an obviously sick person (coughing and sweating from fever) walking around the store. During this time when we all need to be socially responsible, the store should also be responsible in (1) limiting the number of people who are in the store/aisles at one time and (2) not allowing obviously sick people into the store ... sick people can contaminate all the food items as well as infect other people. During this time of crisis, we all need to play our roles in social responsibility ... individuals and businesses. Other local markets are being responsible ... I would like Vons to follow suit.

I have been coming here and always have a pleasant experience. The staff are always friendly and for the most part the store is clean. Theyre open late, until midnight, which is always a plus as it seems like I find myself there often when its late at night. A little on the expensive side but certainly not as bad as Pavillions.

Very helpful staff. I was hunting for an obscure item. An assistant manager got selected to help me. 30 minutes of hard looking found 1 mis filed and 2 out of stock. He then found which other store had my item. Thank you. (Jun22) They still have IT!

I stopped in to get a rotisserie chicken for lunch. Instead, i took a look at the prepared foods and chose a selection of nice foods.I got a meatball. I knew it would be better warmed up, and i wouldnt have access to a microwave, but it was still good inside a fresh roll i got from the bakery.I got a salmon steak. Ready cooked and it had a nice sauce, but not to overwhelming. It was goodI got a mango flavored chicken breast. It was good wrapped up in the other roll. The mango was a nice, sweet kick.I also got some superfood salad. That is always good.

This store continues to show a lack of caring for its customers. Please do not shop here.I was counting on the phone hours being correct when I called and drove over 30 min before closing. The very unsympathetic employee that answered said they put a sign on the door to show their actual hours. He didnt apologize for the phone message being wrong and seemed to think it would be obvious people should drive over and look at a single sign to check hours instead of trusting a phone message.I stopped shopping here 2 months ago when I arrived 10 min before close to get one item. The employees near check-out had already locked the doors and deliberately avoided eye contact for myself and 3 other customers standing outside. As they let someone out they mumbled they were closed and shut the door quickly behind that customer.If you have had similar experiences, leave a comment.

Vons is close to my home so I shop there primarily. I find what I need and the employees are always friendly. If I have a problem with anything I buy there is replaced without a problem. I also have used they pharmacy sure 1987 and wouldnt go anywhere else because the pharmacists know our family and look out for us.

Please ask the owner of the complex to add more handicap parking spaces. All the handicap parking spaces were full and this is at least a 10th time that weve had to wait at least 20 minutes for a parking space to open up. There is plenty of regular parking so adding a few spaces, anywhere possible, would be great.

Do not shop here. After watching them repeatedly sell to hoarders, they refused to sell me cleaning supplies. I was told by staff to come back every other day instead. They obviously dont realize that by encouraging people to go out, they are helping to spread the virus. They also dont realize that in order to help stop the virus, we ALL have to clean,not only half of us. Good job,Vons. Thanks for continuing to be a part of the problem, and not the solution.

In store flower shop is excellent. Theres always an employee in that dept. to help you. Bakery has a great selection and the doughnuts are the best. Well, not always anymore. Last purchase of a few different doughnuts and muffins was disappointing. Dry and stale. Very large deli.

I hardly ever go to Vons because I have a starter Bros. & Sprouts near by. So I usually go if there is a good sale.... As I approached the meat counter to ask the location of an item, I got a very NASTY side stare from the butcher... He hesitated to answer me and when he did it was very disrespectful!! Ive never experienced this at any store before!! Staff at staters & sprouts are much nicer and have customer service skills! Kinda got the vibe that because of my ethnicity I wasnt welcomed. Arrogant POS!

This isn’t for the Vons. It’s actually for the Quest inside. The woman or staff inside —— RUUUUUDE!!! There are many ways to tell someone that at the time being appointments have to be administer by your doctor, BUT .. if you want to be insulted, come to this location. Not only was this woman dude at how she directed herself at me, but in front of another customer in line, and looking at the availability.. she without 2sec delay told me off to try another location. She should not be working at a medical facility like this. She should be retrained on how to actually talk to customers.

On Friday my vons and customer experience was good but I give a A+ to the deli department because when I ordered 2 pounds of fresh chicken tenders when I got home they where perfectly cooked, tender and hot. Next time Im going to make chicken tender sliders.

They discontinued carrying foods that I like. I have to shop at Ralphs when I have time, because theres no Ralph store near me only Vons. One.of the few items they stopped carrying Jenny O Italian sausage, and John Souls chicken Heinz Dillll pickles the list goes on. Disappointing. I go to Vons only in a pinch.
