The store is not very big, but it is very stocked and clean, the prices are affordable on average, the staff is very friendly and they have a Starbucks store inside and wells Fargo bank

The store is clean and neat, and the staff are generally friendly and helpful, but sometimes in the morning, they take their sweet time checking you out. Efficiency is courteous. Beyond that, their prices are 10% higher than any other grocery store in the area. I go there as a convenience, and for no other reason.

I shop here because the people have earned my trust. The shop is well stocked, fruit and veggies are fresh and crisp. Liquor section has a lot of variety as well as meat, bakery and pantry sectors. The people are courteous and friendly.

I checked online to see when they opened and arrived about 7am. They are technically open but with limited service. They have only the 15 items or less checkstand open and all others must self check. I dont mind self checking when it is an option but not when it is mandatory at 7am when Im just waking up. The last thing I want to do is deal with a machine at 7:30am repeating place item on the right over and over when I just did place the item to the right. Help is on the way is the next thing repeated over and over. No thanks Vons. Why am I paying Vons Club prices when Im getting food 4 less service? When I went to ask for bags, I told the attendant that I wouldnt have come to vons if I had known they were not going to be checking groceries. She tersely replied what do you mean. It pretty much went downhill from there. Vons, let go of some of the profits, pay a checker, and offer full service OR let it be known that you only offer limited service at your club during certain hours. Im going to Stater Brothers.

It’s cool that they have a Starbucks and self checkout here, and the store is kept clean and tidy but my main gripe is they seem to be out of stock on a lot of common items like soda and bread. When you walk thru the store you’ll notice a lot of empty shelves. I’ve posted 2 pics as examples. This isn’t 1 or 2 items out of stock, this is like entire shelves empty. I’m not sure why as I don’t experience this problem at other grocery stores in the area. Another issue it’s located in a very, very busy shopping center in the more urban side of town so there’s often a lot of traffic and homeless. The outside of the store is pretty grimey like all the other stores in that area and there’s a distinct smell of sewage.Other than those issues, this is a pretty standard Vons. I definitely prefer the other Vons in Corona tho.

Always friendly service, employees are very nice. They have a pick up option where you order online and they do the shopping for you and bring it right out to your car. There is a Wells Fargo and Starbucks inside. The place usually isnt busy, especially on weekdays. If it is busy, like a holiday weekend, theyre pretty good about opening up every check out register so the lines are never that bad.

Vons is always great. I do wish they would edit the bathroom doors to open the other direction. Or install the foot peddle grips to which the door would need adjusting either way as it is a tight fight, currently.

I love this market! Usually only buy sale items. Save $$$ every time (compared to other places same dates). Meat dept staffing always polite answering questions if I have to call before I go to shop. Also when I am in store. Overall, market is very clean and well organized. Checkers very polite. ONLY negative are the public bathrooms, which are all too often really disgusting. But, Im realistic enough to know that its the PEOPLE who go in them and cause the filth/graffiti, etc. NOT fault of the market, itself. I know the Vons staff do their best to keep it clean, and do so immediately if I tell them about it. So, I will continue to shop here. Thanks, Vons!

BAKERY review: It was my first time ordering a cake from Vons and I really didnt know what to expect. I was throwing a last minute birthday party for my daughter and I was so happy to even be able to order an Encanto cake 24 hours before the event. The whole process went smoothly from the guy on the phone, who patiently answered all my questions, to the ordering at the counter with the friendly lady.I really didnt know what to expect, but when I saw the cake, all i could say was WOW! Guests were very impressed by the floral decorations. So thank you to the bakery team for an easy ordering process and a beautiful cake that tasted great (white cake with custard filling and fresh strawberries). The cake truly was the highlight of the dessert table!!

Julie night time cashier is super rude, she takes so long to scan items I was waiting in line for almost 30 minutes with only 3 people in front of me. A couple months ago, she over scanned item and then got mad at me for asking for a refund which I never got. Overall each time I have her as a cashier she is always rude.

I used to love Vons all the time but then when I compare it’s prices with Walmart and different store their prices are too high and they bluff the customers by giving coupons that is not worth and still it’s profitable to them only . Don’t recommend.

Okay I love this Vons I come here every week without fail to the point that my girlfriend gets mad at me. This week I had an accident at work and Im down to just one hand that functions. I had a cart full of groceries and there were no real lines open I guess it was only self-checkout and when I asked she told me that there were no lines open but I just cant do it only one hand so I had to leave the cart of goods. I would hope for a truly handicapped person you guys would help that person out a little bit but maybe Im wrong on that and Ive just never noticed because Im normally able-bodied. Do better Vons you guys make enough money. I can see if I had one item of course I would ring it up but a cart full of items like I had 24 body armors Im supposed to ring those up and bag them all and put them back in the cart the whole point of going to Vons anyways is there the most expensive grocery store of course theyre going to have someone bag up your groceries it was just a new fact to me that its all self-checkout until 8:00 a.m. cuz Ive been there before before 8 a.m. and I know it wasnt also check out I think that lady just didnt want to work today

I have been going to Vons for years this has been my very worst experience I went to use western service I have been using the same service for years with same ID only to be rudely confronted by supervisor Jerry that I need to present 3 IDs which is unheard of the way he dealt with the matter was very rude I felt very embarrassed because he addressed the issue in the present of all other customers that was standing around. He need to be more respectful to customers if he chooses to be in customer service.

Great service...produce fresh. I Use a scooter and now they lock up to keep them from getting stole. Inconvenient but neccessary. I Wish management would place a cup holder for coffee or water. Stoke patients have trouble holding cups or water and drive. Thanks for your consideration.

Store is clean and well kept, workers are helpful, albeit slow to help at times. Another positive for them is their produce is usually pretty fresh, and their meat department quite assistive and friendly. Deli section so far is the same way. The layout is confusing, and I have yet to find where certain items should be located, but I guess Ill figure it out.Downside: the prices are highest anywhere locally. The only way you wont break the bank is utilizing digital coupons, which is a hassle or at least requires premeditated action. Even with coupons and sales prices are quite high as most coupons are limited by must buy x amount. The store has a clearance section of 50%off, and that amount never changes (nor do the products it seems)Main reason I go to this store so frequently is their location is convenient to my home.

Love the curbside pickup . Super easy and convenient and it’s always ready before my scheduled time which is awesome. I’ve had some slight issues like I bought 4 on the vine tomatoes but only 3 were the on the vine kind and one was a regular brand (you can tell by the different shape) but I was charged for 4 of the other kind (only 20 cents or so more but still)I still love this place though . Everyone is always nice and super kind when you go in. I love that they don’t discriminate with who they hire and I’ve met some beautiful souls who work there

I really like this store. Its usually pretty busy and can have a wait when in line to check out your groceries. During the Covid crisis there was a shortage of certain products but understandable with the circumstances. Guess as Americans we can be a little spoiled since we are so use to getting whatever food we want and its painful to realize this may not always happen. We are so lucky to be Americans. Anyway. I think Vons did a great job through the pandemic and the workers deserve our praise and Thanks.

Excellent selection of daily basics and countless specialty items like their olive bar and deli. Fresh baguettes and cakes in many varieties and sizes. Not to mention the selection of fresh flowers and small plants that make the best gifts. I ordered ice cream and a birthday cake through door dash for my sisters birthday tomorrow.My dasher found the ice cream.But when it came to the birthday cake,it was out of stock.Received a message from door dash saying the substitutes were out of stock as well.Dasher called and said that they had no more red velvet cakes left.That was fine with me.So I tried to tell the dasher to just get lemonade or a refund.But he handed his phone to a very rude employee behind the counter and she told me with an unfriendly response and said We dont have any of the cakes you want.He cant speak english very well so I dont know what to tell you.So I asked her politely to tell him that I will accept a refund or lemonade and she said with a rude tone of voice We are not your shoppers, they are, you tell him yourself. No have a nice day or sorry we couldnt assist you.Nothing.Then he hung up before I could tell him anything else.Very uncalled for.I was going to call the store but they wont be any help.I will just go in tomorrow for the cake like I should have earlier.Hopefully she has a better attitude for future customers!

Ive shopped there many times before due to its closeness to my place. This time was unacceptable and I truly hope to see improvement in my next visits otherwise I might have to consider the one on magnolia to get some BETTER service and some DECENT store cleanliness. It was overall a horrid experience and i expected better response from the higher staff. I waited 30 mins to see manager and when finally attended she was unbelievably rude and dazed.Might have to reconsider going here again.

I have been going to this Pharmacy for years. My experience has been spotty. One trip everything is perfect the service is wonderful but then the next trip everythings wrong I dont get the right prescriptions Im never sure what Im going to pay everythings confusing. The staff however, is almost always wonderful. I will continue to use this as my primary Pharmacy forever!

Floral department was very rude and not helpful at all. Their customer service sucks! I believe the lady was named Robin. Not sure if she was floral manager or what. So I went to get balloons blown up and not even that long after, they were all on the ground so I went back and nicely asked if they could give me new ones or refund me since I got a big Bouquet of balloons for like $20 for my b -day party. She was like no we can’t do anything for you with attitude and was rude to me didn’t even say sorry or do anything to help resolve the issue. So after I asked multiple times what can she do for me it’s my b-day and I’d like to have some balloons today, she finally said I’ll give you two new balloons (out of like 12 that I had) and told the other lady to do it and then just walked away. The other lady was nice and apologized wished me a happy birthday and gave me an extra balloon with the two balloons. I Didn’t get her name, but she was polite to me. Anyways overall, I was not happy with this Vons and I’ve been shopping their for a long time. Don’t think I will be anymore. Waste of money on balloons and an inconvenience to have to go back for nothing!

It’s well stocked, it’s clean but.... the employees could use some training on “friendliness”. I wanted to purchase an item that was not priced, I walked to an employee and asked if I could get a price on it. The employee could not hide her disgust because she had to “check” for the price on a register, I asked if I could pay for the item with her and she quickly said No because she was not logged on?!! She had just checked for the price! Anyway, I thanked her, to which there was no reply. I walked to another register, waited for my turn and once it was my turn to pay, the cashier scanned the item and said how much it was... she never greeted me and onced i payed she simply gave me my receipt and never said “thank you, have a nice day or thanks for coming in”. Why should I return to a merchant that does not appreciate my business. I rather drive to a further market, as long as I get the proper service and feel welcome.Mr. Vons you need to do an Undercover Boss at this store!!!!

Usually its great, but today they were a little off. I took the last of the bagged salads. And the carry carts werent right by the door where they usually are, so I had to ask and then go search. And then I got rushed out of line. I had to go over to a other checkout counter to put my wallet away and stuff. So today may have been an off day for them.

The prices are high but the atmosphere is worth the shopping experience. It feels safe without having security anywhere in site. We visited this store simply because it was on our way home from another location, but we were very disappointed. The produce section was under stocked. We buy mostly organic and needed a squash, but there was only 1 squash left which didnt look too good, so we didnt get it. There were also several spots for Taylor Farms pre-packaged salads, but most were empty. Stock was low on several other items as well.At our local Albertsons, the bakery department gives free cookies to the kids. We went to the bakery department here to see if they do the same, and there was one worker busy helping somebody else. We waited about 10 minutes and finally gave up. The employee was still helping the first customer, never acknowledged us (I think her back was to us and the other customer the whole time), and no other employees showed up to help out. When we left, 2 more customers had lined up behind us.We also avoided purchasing several dairy items because they felt too warm to the touch. I would compare it to taking something out of your fridge and letting it sit on the counter at least 1 hour. Even items toward the back felt warm. I looked around for a thermometer to check the temperature, but there werent any that I could see.

Do most of my shopping here, if I cant find a item, they are good to find it for me. If you bring in your own bags, they will bag your groceries for you, unlike Walmart. My favorite cashier is Janet and box boy is Jeff, a real gentleman helped me get my groceries in car and even opened my car door for me and closed it.

I had only gone in for Arizona Rx Stress tea ( which they didnt have). I was all over the store trying to find it. I finally found where they had tea, it was way in the back, behind cleaning supplies and detergents. I didnt find this a logical place for it.But other then that its a very neat, clean and bright store.If you like flowers and plant arrangements, They had a beautiful array to choose from.Could have had a little better customer service

Just used the self checkout at Vons. I asked for bags and the cashier Christina said how many I would need. I asked for 2. She told me she would give them to me when I finished scanning my groceries an put them on the scale and when done I could then bag them. I usually scan and bag so I was confused why I could not have my bags. She then entered 2 bags for me on the screen. And from where she was standing she says loudly to put in my phone number. I felt uncomfortable. She asked loudly if there was a problem. I told her I could do this myself. She said very loudly that she was just trying to help me. Other cashiers and customers turned to look at us. I felt as if she was there to watch me in case I tried to steal something. I have never had anyone stand so close and over my shoulder watching and telling me how to scan my groceries. If this is their procedure to keep people from not scanning certain items to steal they seriously need to change their system. Or at least a nicer person. This person Christina needs retraining. I always shop Staters but didnt want to drive further out of my way. Next time I will go out of my way and stick with Staters.Maybe Vons needs to close their self check out instead of having such a rude aggressive employee watching people. Wouldnt it be much easier to have that employee go open another checkstand where she can scan every item herself instead of making people feel they are being watched in case they try to steal or not enter the 2 ten cent bags??? I have never dealt with an employee like Christina like I did that day. Employees like that make your store look bad. I will be following up with the store director!! When I called to complain after the incident it was her who answered so I hung up on her. I will deal with the store director from now on.

This Vons is HUGE and has no electric carts. I have medical issues so I was only able to buy a few items. A manager had to be asked where the electronic carts were and staff was unaware that all carts were stolen. If you are in need of the store provided electric cart you will be unable to shop.

Their digital coupons rarely work. You will get ripped off more often then not. Keep a sharp eye out of you think you will actually save money with their awful app. I highly recommend a different grocery store chain that doesnt require digital coupons to save money.

I dont normally leave bad reviews but I felt that I had to on this occasion. I ordered a cake for a coworker on a Saturday. They stated I only needed 24 hr notice so I asked if it could be ready for Monday night. They said no because they didnt have a decorator on Mondays. Ok thats fine then Ill pick it up on Tuesday night. I asked for a picture on the cake like their display and they said they could do it if I brought in the picture. Which I did, a 5x7 to be exact. I show up Tuesday night only to find out they never made my cake. I was told that the order was placed to the side and must have been forgotten. The worker was very apologetic and stated her manager would reach out to me. The next morning I go back in to speak to the manager who told me they would make the cake if I still wanted it for another day at no charge. I thought that was really nice so I said ok and we scheduled it for Friday night (last night). I show up to pick up the cake around 10pm. I could not believe what was handed to me. Not only was the cake not what I ordered but it was made very poorly. The image I had provided was supposed to be across the entire top of the cake just like their display. The image on my cake was smaller than the picture I had provided!!! There was so much blank space all around the picture!!! It looked awful. So today I was going to vons. I got my things and went to the checkout line. I didnt wait long. Once I got there the cashier already had a problem with one of my items. She said that the watermelons were 2.99 but it was literally on sale. I told her that I have the coupon that allows me to buy the watermelons for $1. She refused to scan the coupon and said that the coupon expired even though it had not. Once she asked the other cashier she found out that it was on sale. I didnt hear an apology for the inconvenient instead I got a nasty look. Afterwards I checked my receipt and it seemed to me that the cashier checked out one of my items incorrectly. The milk that I bought was suppose to be 5.99 since it was on sale but instead I had to pay 8.99. So I came back to the cashier and told her that the milk was on sale. She refused to believe me and told a guy who was bagging the stuff. She told him to check the milk aisle. The guy checked and told her that it was on sale. Again no apologies for the inconvenient and stared at me with another nasty look.

This is a really nice, clean store. I just moved to the area so Im trying out every grocer within a half hour drive. There was a great selection of most things but my only hesitation is that there wasnt a huge selection of produce, acceptable but not amazing. Maybe Im mistaken but I think Vons are the same as Safeway and I know at Safeways the produce section can vary a lot by location. The other thing I would like more selection of in an ideal world would be imports. The international foods were very very limited. Everything they do carry was well stocked when I was there (Tuesday arvo) except a couple things people are still panic buying which is understandable. I appreciated too that there was a public toilet during covid times, a lot of places have them closed.
