I bought sliced apples and cheese cup at this Vons a few days ago and most of it was rotten! The apples had a slimy, dark colored texture and smelled bad. The worker also cut the applied into small pieces and put them on the bottom of the cup! That is not right because who can eat those small pieces? The apples were not fresh even though I put them in the refrigerator and it has not been expired yet. The cheese slices were good though. Apples were very rotten as shown in the photos

Comfortable grocery store. Always easy parking available. Easy restroom to use if you need one. Visit the area near the condiments during lunchtime to enjoy their freshly prepared chicken pot pie or bbq ribs (hot). You will be impressed by the quality.

Ive never had a good experience at this Vons. But my trip this weekend put a button on never, ever going there again. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. There was one line open for any amount of items (the 15 items and less was open and the dreaded self serve that never works). I asked an employee to ask her manager to open up another register. She looked at me blankly and never said a word. She was like a drone. She then continued with what she was doing and eventually went and told someone. That person then waited and eventually told their Manager. Then time passed and another line was opened. It was awful and Im not going back (not that Vons really cares is my guess). You walk in this place and a not one employee has a smile on their face and says hello. Most of my grocery trips are to Trader Joes (love love), Sprouts or Gelsons - all of which are terrific. Even thought its an extra ten minutes, if I need to go a traditional grocery store, Ill just go to Pavillions in SouthPas.

Makes no sense. They really closed the self check out. And have a big line of customers purchasing last min items. Which could easily be done at self check out. All of a sudden. They want to put cashiers that even take longer. Epic fail4-20-2024I just placed an order online for the 1st time ever due to me having surgery and cant really drive and pick up anything heavy. Long story short. I placed the order, they delivered it to the wrong house. And I’m here out of groceries because I have to re order them and pay again because they won’t refund me 5-7 business days. Unbelievable!!! I’m a regular customer here for over 10+ years. And yet can’t even get the proper service..

Im a local and a regular at this store... Today I went in for a return/exchange for an item I purchased less than 24-30 hours ago. Karen turned me down without looking at my receipt or letting me finish my sentence and immediately responded by saying We do not accept perishable items,... twice! Which is a total lie. After reviewing Vons/Albertsons return policy I called to complain, and spoke to her about wrongfully applying the return policy, and not helping me during my first visit. She did ask me to come back in store and get 2 more to which I declined, because I had already purchased a replacement myself. I sensed a bit of prejudice treatment from her.

This store is one of the busiest stores around because its one of the few stores around thats not Asian. Haha. But that being said, many locals love this store because they have great deals on meats and groceries when they are on sale as well as the full selection of your typical American grocery store. Its big, its clean, it even has a panda express inside.

Racist and worst grocery experience I’ve ever had, was at self-checkout and wanted to have an item voided. Waited for the employee to finish helping the other customer and I said hi can I get this voided, he literally walked away and started chatting with his coworker and I was just waiting for him. No response at all then my friend went to him and asked for help, he annoyingly said I’m coming and continue chatting with his coworker. The thing is he was nice to the previous American customer and obviously had a problem with Asians? I never write reviews because this never happens but really disappointed.

I always create my shopping list online so I can get the digital coupons and clip coupons for the various onsale items. HOWEVER, tonight I discovered that 2 of the digital coupons and 2 onsale items rang up with the wrong price. Basically, it is overcharging me a total of $23.64. Block or shredded cheese was on sale for 91 cents. I bought 4 blocks of cheese, and it should have cost $3.64 for the 4 blocks. But I was charged $15.96. I had a digital coupon for 1 lb of strawberries at $1.97. But I was charged at $3.49. Another digital coupon for fried chicken $5.97 but I was charged $9.99. And coupon for 1/2 gal milk $2.02 but was charged $2.39. I spoke with a supervisor, and she asked if I scanned by phone or if I did it while at the checkout. I told her I used my computer and phone. And when I went through the checkout, I used my Vons card. She looked at me and told me never to use my card again because its not tied to my account. Had someone told me that last year, I wouldnt have to keep returning to the store to resolve the pricing issue every time and getting overcharged time after time.She removed the items that were over charged and credited the overcharge back to my card. Then re-rang them with the correct price.Makes me wonder how many other shoppers are getting cheated and not realizing it. Am considering shopping elsewhere.

Im a regular at your store, but Im close to switching my loyalty. Why? The consistent lack of service at your self-checkout counters, particularly from a female employee in her late 50s/early 60s who seems more interested in chatting than helping customers. 👎Months of no greetings, no help with heavy items, just non-stop casual conversation with a bald head colleague who works behind the desk by the main exit while customers struggle. This isnt the friendly neighborhood vibe Vons promises. Its a letdown. Both employees are not suitable for customer service line of work. 😡Do better, Vons. We expect more. Show us that you care about customer service as much as you say you do!

Not the friendliest customer service... unfortunately I have changed my mind for giving this place 4 stars before. Ive been coming here for 7 years but oh my has it changed...maybe 2 employees are the nicest here Ray at the register and a really nice guy at the deli, I think his name is Sam hes slim and tall, hes professional. Everyone else seems upset so I dont bother them with any questions, or Ill just go to Albertsons down the street for better service. This is just my experience and opinion here. Happy shopping

Night shift white tall guy with curly long mullet hair was rude. He is the employee who took out the trash and is a cart pusher. I was exiting the market but he was blocking the way with his shopping cart. He did not move when I say excuse me and I had to wait 3 minutes. He was picking up a trash bag and did not clear the way for customers to leave. He ignored us and moved when he was done

Like a one stop shop they got everything. Panda Express, Food, merchandise, flowers, dry clean, carpet cleaner rentals, Starbucks, Pharmacy, firewood, various vending machines and many more. There’s a recycle center out back too. Some employees are friendlier than others, just like anywhere you go. In a few minutes I can drop off a dress, pick up some flowers, get teriyaki chicken, buy a pink drink and out I go. It’s great for busy moms and busy people. They always have deals going on such as 10 corn for $4 or a dozen eggs for $2.99.

Von’s has a great selection, produce is fresh . I couldn’t find green jalapeños which is odd and I wish they carried real pita bread and grape leaves in a jar. I only bought produce and a few canned items,eggs and some specialty drinks but no meat, no poultry, no fish and still ended up spending over $80 which is insane!!!!Also, there are never enough cash registers open so the wait is a bit long, the staff seems overworked and tired, not as friendly and cheerful as they once were.I also bought two Easter cream eggs and came home with only one and no it’s not because I ate one!

Worst customer service ever. I placed an order for fried chicken on 12/22/22, need it ready for pick up the next day girl who helped me out wrote my information down. I come the next day. Nothing. I get here girl tells me “someone told me to tell you they’re making the chicken. It is 1:15. Nobody knows nothing about my order, but they casually find my order written down. So unprofessional some lady rude and almost getting in my face. First and last time I shop at this place. If I can give a zero stars I most definitely would.

I go here for stuff I need quickly that I would not buy in bulk, because this place can get pricey. They have a small designated Asian section. The deli is decent, but the service might be slow. Lines can get pretty long, even at self check out. Be warned that while the card readers advertise Apple Pay, it gets glitchy. Best to use card/cash.Also, not a complaint against Vons, but be careful in the parking lot! I’ve seen many a blind driver and some spectacularly creative collisions or near-collisions in ways you would not think possible.

This Arcadia Store has a Starbucks & Panda Express inside, a really cool concept.However, the layout is extremely difficult to navigate and nothing is in order.The bakery department needs to be retrained and a new baker is much needed.The staff seems bothered and unwilling to assist, service is extremely low.I moved from Pasadena to Arcadia making this my home Vons and this falls short to the customer service and quality Vons is known for.

I liked this store better when it was Pavillions. It seemed to have a much better selection back then -and was much better organized. Its kind of crazy how the dairy products arent all in the same location. Cheese is in one corner of the store and milk and butter is on the other side of the store. It is still clean however and employees are kind and very helpful.

Always friendly staff and full of fresh produce. Their deli and salad bar section is always stocked and fresh. Theyre butcher section has a variety of marinated meat, chicken and seafood to choose from. A big selection of organic food and ready to eat packs.A good selection of beer and wine, but they are not BevMo. Pricing can be competitive, but dont count on bargain pricing.The flower department has a big fresh selection of flowers and its always staffed for custom bouquets.Finally dont forget the Asian section with a variety of popular trendy and current Asian food. Again, the price can be competitive, but do not count on finding bargains.

Fairly large newer-style Vons with many extra departments, even a drive through pharmacy. Parking is free but can be crowded at busy times. You pay for the large variety in prices that are not great overall. Sale prices can be good if you use a Club card account and the Vons app. Best to shop here if you plan what to buy before you visit. Staff are helpful when asked.

Vons is actually a great supermarket. They have a deli, hot food case, sandwich deli area, prepackaged foods from the deli, fresh produce, organics, a florist, dry cleaner, lotto vendor, Jamba juice, panda express, Starbucks, sushi makers, pharmacy, bakery +++ this store is very clean and the staff can be friendly. There are some grouchy people but not enough to discourage me from visiting this store. You can actually get flowers cheaper at trader Joes than you can here. From what I heard the pharmacy is kind of pricey. Also the parking lot is absolutely the worst feature. Be extra careful because it can be hazardous with people not paying attention. That said, I use to live around the corner and always walked to Vons. My biggest criticism is that they never replaced their bike rack. It was destroyed by a driver and ultimately removed. So if youre thinking about stopping in it is worth it. Try a low flow hour because they no longer have their self check out and peak times are crazy with long lines. My favorite items are the carousel ice cream cakes and the giant hello kitty balloons.

I would give it a higher number but the pharmacy just sucks! The store is great the cashiers and managers are super sweet.but the pharmacy.. . They are just rude and have the worst attitude! I went to refill my prescription yesterday. They have my insurance Info. They told me come back in 20 minutes. I did some shopping and I came back in 45 minutes. They said that I I didnt have insurance. I told them I do cuz I just came back from the er. They took care of my fracture ankle. They demanded my insurance cards. I told them why didnt they just call me over the intercom and told me to come back. They said they had too many people to take care of and its my fault that I didnt give them my card when though I been going there off and on for 7 years and I have had my insurance card for 7 years with no changes. They made me wait another 35 minutes and they said it was a billing problem and they needed to put in a code er its a medication from a er that is normally not covered by my insurance but they approved it by my insurance. They said this in the most nasty tone I have ever heard!

I dont have issues with staff. Its the advertised specials that dont ring up the advertised prices. Search for the item on the app. Then you have to load it onto the Just for U app then deselect delivery option, then look at the shelf label for limits on items or buy in multiples, check out, only to find it wasnt that brands selected variety, and then call the head cashier to void the item, to only then cancel the entire purchase because it wasnt free or the free applied to only 1 item per purchase. Fab5, $5Friday and freebies are a marketing game, but we consumers end up losing

Ive been to this location 4 times within 24 hours. Each time I was able to successfully purchase items. Its confusing because they have a sign on a side of the building without any doors. There is also a panda Express within the location. They mostly sell grocery items, but other items can also be purchased here. Prices are mid to high range.

This has got to be one of the most versatile grocery stores that I have ever been to. I mean, they have a Panda Express, a Jamba Juice, a Starbucks, an amazing deli, a bakery, and more! Its crazy. All the staff that Ive encountered here are incredibly polite and the store itself is really clean. They even have bag carryout service for those who are physically impaired. All around this is a great store.

I was in the store that I have shopped in, almost exclusively since it opened, years ago. There was a woman ahead of me who came back to the lane I was in, in front of me, to take issue with a price she was charged for some meat. The two packages were obviously different, probably from different providers. I get that, but this lady didnt, or appeared not to understand, and was determined to get the better price. After much confusion with several employees involved, including a manager, the woman got what she wanted. What I and the people behind me in line got was very a long wait. I came very close to leaving my groceries, and just walking away.My question, what is the customer service desk for??? Any time I have had issue with a purchase, that is where I have been told to go. My time was of no value here and I have had it happen too many times. I will be a customer of the Pasadena Ralphs store from this point.

Plenty of parking, good selection of fruit & veggies, great selection of everything grocery-wise you might need. Basic greeting cards, wrapping paper (if you need that type of thing), party items. They have ethnic foods as well, keeping in mind their local shoppers. Theres a Starbucks and Jamba Juice in there, as well as a pharmacy and a small dry-cleaner service. They also sell lottery tickets, if Im not mistaken (human, not machine).

This place is ok for what itis now. Selection and services is fine. The reason for this rating is what they are compared to what they were. Before, they were Pavilions. They are still the same company but it was so much more special. They use to treat people special and were more outgoing and friendly. That really made a difference and I notice it. All stores could be alot more but itisnotdueto store policy and training. Too Bad. Loyalty goes both way and is earned.

What impressive about this particular Vons is that their fresh produce section is at the front of the store. Most and any other store would have them at the far side or even at the back of the store. So, when I come it, it just feels nice, healthy and open - it doesnt feel crowded at all.I have been coming in to this store for about a 3 years now, and a lot has changed.I love that they accept google and apple pay. You can also use those means to pay for your orders at their in-house Jamba Juice and Starbucks. PROTIP: you can pay for your groceries from these outlets, too.The only one disappointing thing they did which i had wished they kept were the self check out counters; because most of the time, i just go in for 1 or 2 things, and i didnt have to wait in like to pay. These supposed express checkout lanes that replaced the self checkout counters are empty most of the time, and it appears that its just a place to keep returned items to be placed at the end of the day. So, what should just be a quick pick up, becomes several minutes waiting in line at a counter for someone to finish counting change to pay in exact amount.Other than that, the manager is very friendly when i had inquired about a favorite drink they havent restocked - they restocked it!! - and it sells out fast. - they however havent been restocking or having the party tray mini rolls or the croissants anymore, which is my most frequent buy from there a couple years back, but still - their fresh items are great, and its conveniently surrounded by other shops where you can eat, drink or shop at while a friend or family member is restocking your homes supplies.

Love this Pavillion (now back to Vons). Selections of different foods; fresh bread, grade a meats and veges. Pharmacy is helpful and reasonably quick. Also love the options of Jamba Juice and Starbucks in the store. The only two complaints are lack of self service check out lines which it used to have and wait time to drop off and pick up dry clean since they lump this service with lotto/returns/cashier checks. Favorite employee is mr. Mohammed.

Store is split with aisles on the left and right and produce, restaurants, meat and deli in the middle. It makes it confusing because food aisles are on both sides, so unless you know the layout of the store, you can find yourself walking back and forth to find what you need.
