If I could give a negative star I would! Estella/Estrella? Is the worst! Horrible customer service! I was purchasing an item and it showed a Ucoupon I scanned it in the app and when I went to register it dint show up! I told her and showed her the picture of the item how it was in the aisle making her job easier, her response was you have to clip it I told her I did but it was not showing what the aisle said so she took my phone and started pressing every coupon and said when it doesn’t work by scanning you have to do this, I told her I have used the app and the coupons before so I know how it works, her nasty response was “you have to do it this was if it doesn’t show up! Do you understand? My answer was I ain’t stupid I have shopped at Vons before! So what she did was slide/throw my phone to the side with what I wanted to purchase and said then “clip it” I grabbed my phone and was about to walk out! I went back and asked her for her name and she’s like Estella, Mrs. Attitude! That’s the type of employees you guys hire??? I went and talked to Carlos he was a blessing he understood what I was saying and took the time to look and said I would go look in the aisle to make sure everyone’s taken care off! You guys just had an issue due to prices and this is how you handle the situation! This was a vons issue not mine to have been treated like that and I mentioned this to some people and they said they have been mistreated by this person!

Asked for help and help was given without hesitation. Was looking for a specific product which they didnt have, but then the employee showed me other options too. I still give it a 5 star rating even though my tender had an attitude after a lovely lady allowed me to go ahead of her because I got there with my fixed gear bike. Overall a relaxing experience.

Pretty good store. Usually no lines (except for the one in Inglewood! 😩), usually has good selections of meats, including roast pork (important for many ethnic X-Mas dinners) which Ralphs inexplicably doesnt have, and not too crowded.But overall, it still has a smaller selection than Ralphs.Prices are the same for both, though.

This is a well stocked supermarket in Torrance with friendly and helpful staff. The woman at the deli counter made me an awesome sandwich today! The prices and selection are great. Also Vons/Albertsons have a generous loyalty program with an easy to use app that no other store chain has equaled.

I recently visited Vons, and I must say, I was impressed with the overall shopping experience. The shelves were neatly stocked, making it easy to find what I was looking for without having to search through disorganized aisles.The cleanliness of the store also stood out to me, as everything was well-maintained and organized. For as small as the store may seem, I am amazed at the expanse of items they carry. The deli always looks very attractive & appetizing. I especially think that the butcher block, counter top / glass case with Butcher has some of greatest looking quality meat & seafood. The Floral dept is the absolute finest. Id go @ least once each & every week, sometimes more, just to be absolutely positively certain my Mother had the most beautiful flowers at her bedside always. Enough said, I am a very pleased patron.

Lots of sale going on at the moment which is the inky time I shop in Vons anyhow. Pretty good prices with your Vons membership. Great location as well right off Torrance Blvd, very clean store and huge too. Love the mini high carts, perfect for my height, holds quite number of items, as there is a bottom and top carrier and an upper little area to hold ur purse/bag. Happy to see there was several self checkout stations. All in all, great experience for my first time at this location.

Today (08/19/2023) at around 8:30, several woman experience what could be described as harassment by a man. He seem target who were alone and hugged another lady and did not let go. It was an experience very uncertain about my safety while shopping. My SIL and I did interfere when the hugging incident occur and ask the fellow shopper if she would want company to her car. She did refuse, hopefully she is safe. I did tell a store associate about event and he dated he would escalate to GM. I do not what happened after this or what actions were taken to address the situation Please feel free to post this on others platforms in order to warn other ladies. I will be attaching a picture of the man and I strongly feel that if he has not done anything yet he will. He is dangerous and I do not make this accusation lightly. Please stay aware of your surroundings.

This store is well stoked for the most part but there are a few things that are not flowing right. For instance, staff smokes in the front so you are forced to smell that. The deli has no condiments or utensils readily accessible. You might be lucky if u ask the overly busy deli people. At least the younger girl there is very nice and one of the only people there that is doing their job right. Please make her a manager or something. She knows what’s up.

My husband and I came to this Vons instead of Ralph’s since we wanted to support our local Vons. We were both tired from hard days work and we’re happy to get groceries, so we can have a great dinner. Our shopping was pretty pleasant even the prices are higher than Ralphs. When we got to the register, a cashier named Tracy ( an older lady) looked very upset and looked like she doesn’t want to be there. The whole experience was pretty bad.I noticed I needed an extra bag because she didn’t put one item, so I tried to get another bag which I know I will pay extra .20cents I didn’t mind because I don’t want to drop the item. I mean we spent over $100, so paying .20 cents for a bag is not a big deal, but the way this lady spoke to me, (she said we charge for a bag and I will charge you! )Wow like I was gonna steal a bag in front of her was unacceptable. She was so rude. I told her I will pay for it and she looked at me like right. I understand VONS have thefts all the time, but I am not a bag thief.I was like wow! My husband was so upset, so we left.Usually our experience here with the other cashiers are pleasant and friendly, but this lady Tracy was so rude. She didn’t even acknowledge us or say hello. I understand she might be having a bad day, but don’t take it on your customers. If she’s having a bad day stay home. I’m writing this review for the GM of VONS to see this. As a cashier you need to at least deliver some good customer service. Now it makes sense why at this VONS it seems like no one is shopping. What happened to the other cashiers? Well, for a Memorial Day weekend usually it supposed to be busy. Anyways, our overall experience today was bad. So if I can give a zero I would.

Very clean with plenty of options. I LOVE the Bakery selections. My favorite being the shortbread cookies with a dollop of chocolate DELICIOUSNESS in the middle! The hot foods have the best grilled mango habanero chicken EVA EVAA! I do WISH theyd keep the white macaroni and cheese ALL YEAR long! The produce is okay, not my favorite but still decent. The prices are kinda UP THERE, but hey it is in Torrance 😬I do recommend it though.

Milk one Meat lovers pizza Was delicious buy the way. Current manager there is racist Luis m. He racially profiled me as soon as I stepped to the self pay register. I never forget to pay for my waters at the bottom. Today I did because he comes up to me and tell me I need to leave my stuff out the cart after I scan it. I’ve never done that before, made me forget my train of thought no I look like I’m stealin fukken waters that are 3.99 each. Vons you guys gotta do better cant have these racist there.

Good selection of food thats not available at other stores. The covid single line to checkout is gone so thats better.Downside is deli closes a little early. I think I was there 730 PM and got told they turned off the cutting machine so no meat. Another night I got told they were closed so no pasta salad, etc.

Im a fan of Vons, Im never disappointed in store appearance. Ive only visited this location at night-unfortunately theres only one cashier with a line. Ive learned to appreciate the self checkout in which times before I had a personal problem with in any store... I went to get free turkey. But this store has always had great produce dept. Their bakery and deli dept great their thanksgiving meals are great had one year and their sales people are extremely nice. One main reason I dont shop here more often is Im short and they have tall shelves and Ive not been able to get things at times because I cant reach them

What a dump! Used to frequent this store as it was on the way home from work and boy has it gone downhill! Was on the way home from a class so I dropped in at 8pm and could not even get Luncheon meat at deli. So why stay open if you are not going to serve your customers!? Then the guy was rude and told me they had packaged deli meats and I said no thanks that I wanted freshly cut but was just going to pass. So then he replies (couldnt let it lie, I didnt even give him grief for not serving me) that it was the same thing just in a package. Again I said, thats OK Im good and he shakes his head and says he doesnt understand why Im not good with that choice!? Whatever. Produce wad awful, moldy wet, some rotting. Wont be going back here.

Shopping any market is rough what with the Pandemic fever that is the current fear. I like to shop at Vons located at the intersection of Anza and Torrance Blvd..the people who work there are very friendly and helpful.The problem yesterday was the crowds of people. They were friendly and offered to help me get my choices from the shelves. The workers all were friendly and efficient. They were kept busy restocking shelves that were emptied quickly. Although I am sure that they didnt have much break time and looked as if they were exhausted they all were very friendly and efficient.Yesterday was the first day I couldnt find a cart outside or inside. I got lucky and managed to get last electric cart. Was that a good thing! The lines were very long and stretched from the registers almost to the other end of the store. People were pleasant and patient. Be prepared to wait a long time.

Vons has an iconic history error Los Angeles but youd never know it from this location. Standard modern layout with fruit on the right as you enter, prices are high even with discount.Complaints: As a visitor I did not know plastic bags are apparently 5c each, the precut watermelon was mostly rind & unrefreshing, & change was not counted back.Still, the store was clean & completely stocked with otherwise efficient baggers & checkers. Great location.Word to the wise: reduced for quick sale is the far right & to the back.

Vons in Torrance, .CA is a typical supermarket. The store is fairly easy to get around in and the signage is good. The manager is not afraid to speak to customers and the cashiers are patient with people. Vons management made a decision long ago to not have self-checkout which i believe is a good thing, but all in all service is good. I go for the sales only, the prices oftentimes are not for the fainthearted.

Always double check expiration dates here as they have a lot of expired items on the shelves. I accidentally bought two items without double checking the date (one pizza crust had expired in October and was still on the shelves when I went back a week later).The worst part was that I got scolded by the cashier when I brought my old receipt, because I didn’t bring the expired items back with me. I had called when I noticed they were expired and the person on the phone told me to just bring the receipt at my next visit. Not the best experience.

This place has a big selection of items. I have noticed however that the packaged fruit doesnt last very long in the fridge as well as the refrigerated chicken breasts I got about a week ago. I guess just double check their due date or when it was packaged if you are getting refrigerated stuff. It lasted less than 3 days and when I pulled it out to cook it smelled bad so I had to throw away. The same happened with my ham when I opened it and the texture was different than usual. Other than that, place is kept clean and service is friendly. :)

I was in the Inglewood CA location (store 2502) and the cashier name Taye had a very nasty attitude, I spent $80 and asked for the Disney Characters being given out she didn’t have any and told me to go get them from another cashier w/ a nasty attitude, it was her job to obtain them. They are good. Most of the time...The place is clean, and they have good staff, but they must hire more professional people to work here. I have been buying the same cheese for the past 20 year, and I always ask for the same cheese. This time when I got home and opened the bag, I saw that they cut the wrong cheese for me. I mean things can happen, but if the person who cut the cheese would pay more attention to the customers, and less to their coworkers, they could avoid that mistake.Beside that, they are a great place for shopping.

This is my favorite Vons in South Bay. Always has great sales meat department and the cuts are amazing quality if you love to BBQ. I also love the organic section lots of fresh veggies and fruit. I ordered flowers online to be delivered to my mom by a local florist. To my surprise Vons deliveres flowers! Vons floral department #2232 put together and delivered the exact bouquet that I picked online. Sometimes when you order online you get a rendition of what you pick. What a nightmare! there was no problem getting into the store, once in? The nightmare starts, no customer service, Manager or anyone managing about 30 to 35 people in line, the yellow taped off area blocks anyone getting to the produce! This line snakes down from the front to the dairy section, then it continues, without yellow tape to the meat section! There were 3 checkout stations open, no employee to tell shoppers when to go to a empty cashier! it took me 15minutes to shop, after which I left! It doesnt make sense to stand in a line that is not moving for 30 to 40 minutes!!!

This store is one of the absolute slowest around every time Im in there. I find the experience horrible 80% of the time. Id rather drive farther to Ralphs, even pay more for better service and self-checkout machines. Wrote Vons following one horrendous visit via website and did not receive a response except the auto-confirm that they received my complaint. No other way to contact store management. I avoid this Vons like the plague which is too bad, its location is ideal but again, Ill drive farther for better service!

It was going great, had everything I needed, until I wanted to make a dessert. I thought Vons is great, they have everythingI slowly collected my items, until I came to the last thing... apple pie filling. I wandered the aisles, checking out by the cake mixes, the canned fruit, hell even the canned vegetables. Alas, I couldnt find it, stumped I asked an employee. I told him my dilemma, and we walked back to the cake mix aisle...and there was nothing but pumpkin pie filling. He said Guess were outHow DARE Vons not have apple pie filling! I have never felt so hurt or betrayed, now Im walking 14 minutes to smart & final! Everything else though was fantastic and everyone was very nice and helpful.

I have to give a shout out to the employees at Vons (all grocery stores, I guess). These folks are working crazy hours, and putting their health at risk so that we can all get in and panic shop. I was at a local Vons yesterday, and the staff were friendly, upbeat, and helpful. They are definitely the unsung heroes as we all struggle through this epidemic together.Having said that, I had to mark a star off because of the last-second cancellation on Saturday if a pick-up order I placed on Thursday night. I understand the current situation, but it was a little frustrating. If the order has been filled on Friday morning, I feel like we could have gotten our groceries before the major rush hit. The in-person experience mostly made up for the inconvenience, but I got nervous for a second.Anyway, kudos to the folks at Vons for keeping for on our tables during this mess!

Unfortunately this Vons has ceased express checkout (during this Covid-19 situation)... Today at 3pm there was a line that went down one side of the produce section, across the back of it and all the way back up to the front of the store (a huge horseshoe) and not 3 checkstands open... I shopped for 3 minutes then stood in line for 45 minutes. I feel sorry for the checkers & wont be shopping there again anytime soon.

I really like the convenience of this Vons in a mini shopping mall strip. Lots of parking. Close to CVS, Toms Tacos and many other places I frequent. I love the ice cream choices they carry. They carry lots of great Haagen Dazs flavors like Vanilla Swiss Almond and also non dairy type like Cashew milk Caramel Nut Swirl. Both are mouthwatering delicious. I love to put a scoop on a piece of cake or heated pecan pie for some sweet treats. I do wish they had more produce choices like Cara Cara Oranges and more but I am grateful for the items they stock and the cashiers are very friendly. Thank you.
