Your typical Vons. They have two level parking available for free. Take the elevator directly into the store from the parking lot.Neat and clean.

This is a well maintained store, very clean and fresh. The deli has good quality food, liked the quality of sushi rolls here. Theres also a Starbucks inside the store. The vegetables and fruits are kept fresh and are well priced. Theres also a pharmacy inside the store as well. If you arent a Safeway club member, become one for free so you can get the Safeway club discounts.

Vons is just amazing, always! I wish there were more of them around, but when I’m in one, I always enjoy my timt there. This time I went in for no particular reason, I was just walking around in the neighbourhood. They had these amazing baloons for Halloween that I couldn’t resist getting one as well as a great little selection of plants. Top grocery store that I would highly recommend.

Hispanic foods section has limited refried beans (they have 1 can, all other beans are located elsewhere), no soft tortilla shells, and no chips. All those items are located at different points throughout the store. Plastic bags at self checkout are not at registers. Place to put your cart away in parking lot is not close. The whole setup is not user friendly.

Stopped in for some fruit and saw the girl at the deli making sandwiches so I decided to get one. She made an awesome custom creation stuffed with fresh veggies, turkey, & cheese that was very tasty! The store itself has good selection and reasonable prices. The Vons/Albertsons app also saved me several dollars! A good place to grab a bite for the road...

Spacious, nicely organized store with a wide selection in all departments. Good variety of wine and spirits, and a nice section for specialty cheeses. Produce and meat are fresh. Clean, with wide aisles, and abundant parking.

I go there to get La Croix sparkling water. There are variety of flavors. A pack of 12 is for $4.99. I like Lime and Tangerine flavors.Usually, parking on the ground is so busy. So I park at the 2nd floor which you can get to from the slope or Walnut Street at back. It’s a bit of additional time, but much less crowded, easier, and safer!

Wanted to purchase Crystal Geyser 1 gallon bottles of water. Price $2.00 per gallon, however if you buy 10, the price falls to $1.00 per gallon.When arrived at the register, the clerk asked if I had the Vons app, I said no and left the store.Obviously Vons continues to make money selling for $1.00 a bottle. So why should I have an app to get the desired price?This is clearly a case of PRICE GOUGING! Very unhappy with Vons!!!

This Vons store is my favorite grocery store ever. It’s always clean and we’ll stock. The employees are so helpful and very polite. I have been to a few groceries store when I travel for work and this store is amazing. There’s one checker name Nancy. She’s very helpful and polite in every way. Whether she’s at the register or at self check out. She’s always go out of her way to help employees. Definitely need more employees like her.

I love this grocery store. You can call me crazy for loving a grocery store, I dont mind, others have and Im sure more will still, but I just love it here.This is a very spacious grocery store. It has a nice selection of premade foods and a fantastic deli and sushi bar. It is meticulously well organized and lighted and the staff will help you out with any questions. The produce section is fresh and there are a lot of organic and healthy options throughout the store. You will find more variety, spices, sauces, and ethnic options then anywhere else in the neighboring areas. I am an avid cook/novice chef and they always have whatever I need.I love that they carry a Starbucks inside. Even better, their selection of alcohol is superb. You will never be caught in a line here and the staff is great. Fresh food, great selection of exotic foods as well.This place personifies all the best attributes of Pasadena and and none of the worst; its clean, healthy, and good looking, but manages to eschew being shallow, self centered, or rude. I dont even live that close anymore, but Ill make up activities in the area just to swing on by.

This store is amazing. It’s always stock with sale items. Always friendly faces. I ask a couple of questions about Just-4-U to cashier Nancy and she happily help me. The company needs more friendly and knowledgeable employees like her. The store is clean and that make me feel very content. Please continue doing a good job. I will always be a customer.

I have been shopping here since before it was remodeled years ago. Staff here is always friendly. Pharmacy is always helpful too. The upper level parking is great for when you need to stop by during busier hours. Otherwise the parking lot at ground level is elrather small because it shares with the other businesses in the shopping center. But even then, that doesnt stop me from shopping here.

Women at the florist shop were weird. Nice and sweet to everyone unless you were a white person then rude as could be. For example I said thank you and she looked an me and just grunted but was so sweet to everyone else. Then another white person asked about balloons and she barked right there! Nice and polite to everyone else. Odd!

This store has a history of horrible service if you look through other reviews, particularly people sharing experiences of what appears to be discrimination based on racial profiling.Thats already a yikes, but there is one employee in particular who is so rude, I find it hard to imagine that her manager sees any redeeming qualities in her at all. Her name is Leticia.She is very lazy, she will snap at customers, refuse to ring people up, and appears to argue with her coworkers as well.I feel sorry for anyone who has to interact with her at all. Stay away from this location. We will be shopping at Sprouts or Ralphs in the future.

This is the closest grocery store to our place or we would never go there. We drive past it to stores miles away to get bargains and more choices. Its really frustrating because often just a day after putting out a flier theyll be out of stock on special advertised items. We go there specifically to get that sale item and they dont have it. It feels like a bait and switch. They also dont carry a big variety for such a large store and its oddly organized. If you go there, just park on the second level. They share the small lower lot with a bunch of stores and a bank and its always congested. The rooftop parking is much easier and the elevators are large and quick if you have a cart of groceries. I like the choice of smaller carts, too. Theres a pharmacy and a dry cleaner which I havent tried. They have an in-store Starbucks and a US Bank branch in-store. I find it interesting that three separate non-white friends have mentioned having uncomfortable experiences in the store that they felt were related to their race. I want to stress its hearsay and, being white, I havent personally experienced it. But hearing about it from three different people warrants a mention, I think. We prefer Smart and Final, Stater Bros, Super King, and occasionally Sprouts even though they are further away. Even with the price of gas, we save money.

There is adequate parking with a lot connected for much easy access and easier ability to social distance.The Deli is one of the best in the areas and really have a great crew. Vons in Pasadena is my go to if I need anything from drinks, food, sweets, etc….Place is always clean and loaded on goods to shop and prices are reasonable.Promotions are away happening so I can save money while shopping.Manager Ventura is very personable and accommodating.If you have not met him, make it a point to say hi to him and you will know what I’m talking about.Very nice guy🙏👍😇

I’ve been coming to this VONS for 40+ years, since long before the new building came up. Of course, the staff as well as customers have changed (lots of newcomers to Pasadena and vicinity), but they carry a great selection and friendly, hard working helpful staff overall for all these years of shopping there. The store is always clean and inviting, with freshly stocked foods. Happy to have this VONS in our neighborhood.

The main parking lot gets busy as it is shared by multiple businesses on the property. Additional parking is available by the market on a second level parking lot. There is an elevator large enough for grocery carts.This Vons market also has a pharmacy, bakery, deli, and meat area to assist with other areas of food shopping.

I know that everything, everywhere has gone up In price over the last year, but I swear that whats going on at this vons is different. They started really raising prices when the pandemic hit, and they have never slowed down. You literally can go in one day and buy something, and the next day its gone up. I mean week after week after week is unbelievable. You know their is a review on maps about this very store, and the guy says they dont like or treat poor people fairly. Prices are high here compared to Walmart but it’s close proximity to my home makes it worth it.Store is clean,usually well stocked.Fun note-Today (Sunday 6-26) I stopped in for a few things and saw Peter Dills walking around,I know of him because various local fast food places have pictures of him ( Tops for example) Upon using the self checkout I had some issues with the items I was buying ( sale price not ringing up right) and guess who helped me? Overall, I like this Vons. It is clean and well stocked. The produce section is extensive. However, more than once I’ve noted that checkers seem unwilling to help bag items. This is not a COVID issue. The checker today continuously pushed my items toward me even though I was obviously struggling to keep up. I am willing to help bag items but a little help would be appreciated. Also, it speeds up the process for everyone. Not sure what this is about. A bit of attitude was also included. I am an older lady, too. Is this the new norm?

I requested some salami in the Deli to be sliced thin on 04/05/2022, I was told by 2 people working behind the counter my request was impossible. I immediately asked for the manager because I always receive this service, so the male employee decides to slice the salami, he shows me a sliced piece to which I say that’s perfect but when I get home and opened the package I found it wasn’t what I agreed on. But before I could leave the store the female employee wanted to see my receipt, she was afraid it wouldn’t scan. The receipt was still in the self serve machine so I told her to help herself to which she did noting the item on the receipt. I’m am senior citizen Black American and I deserve better in your market. Service should be a priority.

I go to this Vons on a regular basis and its hard to find staff members to help when you need something. They also have fairly slow checkers. Recently theyve decided to remodel and move things. I dont know if its temporary but some of the locations of the food items are a bit nonsensical. When I have asked for help people who have been willing and helpful. The prices are okay but some random things are really pricey for some reason. There is a good amount of parking but not at the ground level you should park in the garage which is on the roof of the building. Especially during the holidays the parking situation gets insane. Its nice that there is a Starbucks inside the store. The other shops in the plaza are easy to walk to.

Colorado Blvd Pasadena CA 91107.....Thank you very much for the impeccable excellent services my 9 year old daughter and myself had experienced from cashier Susan and packer Gus. Another cashier Nancy who is a very seasoned staff member and another lady at the counter whom had coincidentally met at a Mexican restaurant earlier had provided very friendly and courteous greetings as always. Thank you very much for the overall staff whom had mostly provided those wonderful services all these years be it before or after the renovations. The variety and selection at Vons had been a wide choice. The quality of their stock had been fresh and with excellent standards.

The store has experienced a pretty drastic drop in quality. On a *good day* online orders take 20+ mins to get brought out to the car. Website has a lot of links that are broken and have been for months. Online orders are often incomplete, citing item out of stock but if you walk in to the store on the same visit the item is, in fact, in stock.When you try to call no one answers even after cycling through being on hold several times.Masking is not enforced by store management.Check out lines are often lengthy since they often have just a few checkout lanes open.In short: if you have an abundance of time and patience, go for it. If not, Id try someplace else.

I want to buy chicken, I love buying chicken from the deli but I am always hesitant because there is always this mean old lady who treats me so mean, She seems to try to make me feel bad as well all because I once asked to for a certain piece of chicken. She just snapped at me and disappeared and never came back out. The whole situation is very stressful and it makes me not want to buy chicken anymore. There is also this one cashier who makes me feel very uncomfortable she is rude to me in a very passive way so I trey my best to avoid her, she has let others cut in front of me before and has long conversations before closing and makes everyone wait. Sometimes it feels like she is stalling while flirting with others as well. I wish they didnt work there anymore because I go here very often.

For anyone from the Northeast, Vons is like a Wegmans. Theyre is a great selection of products including organic and vegan. They have a large bakery, a very long liquor aisle, and more. Its bright and clean.Unlike the Northeast, Vons has to charge for bags so bring your own reusable bags! The parking lot is tight and only had a few dozen spaces.

I like this grocery store. I enjoy the selection of Deli items, hot prepared food, and Japanese sushi made fresh daily. They also bake bread every day and sell good fresh seafood that comes from Santa Monica beach. Produce is also fresh from local farms here in California. I like the fancy beef they offer such as dinosaur ribs when the holidays are coming. Most supplies are in good stock and there are a variety of good brands to buy.

We usually come here when we have to get our dog groomed since the location is nearby. It’s one of the better markets in the area. The store is clean and spacious. Best part, they sell Cheesecake Factory bread!!! Minus one for the weird parking lot configuration that causes traffic as people are trying to enter/exit.

Beautiful store with different depts nicely laid out. Some of the aisles seem a bit narrow getting 2 shopping carts to pass one another. I like their salad bar & theres a Hot food station. Parking in the main lot can be problematic but theres another parking lot west of the market you can use.

I come to this specific Von store from LA because of its Dry Cleaning and Laundry Service. I would have given this place higher mark for cleanliness and usual friendliness of its staff, except for the supervisor (Maria)working the day I came in. She was not friendly nor helpful. Talk about lack of enthusiasm or customer service. I highly suggest her going to a customer service oriented seminar to improve her skills that may impact customer perception of the overall image of this store.

This is my local store, I bought a few groceries here and sat down at their Starbucks, which actually has a nice sitting area and electrical outlets, and wanted to work on a school paper on my laptop before walking back home. Before long, a security guard with a thick accent came up, didnt believe I was a customer for some reason, and told me to leave. Explaining that I was there for my groceries first and that I lived nearby somehow didnt persuade him. He also asked me where I got my groceries from, like an idiot. He kept saying where, where? Obviously from the Vons that we were in! It was pretty frustrating that he made me leave. I had only been there for maybe 10 minutes. I thought it might not be as distracting there as working on my paper at home would be.I know this review has nothing to do with the quality or prices of the food, or other things reviews typically mention, but Ive never been told to leave an establishment before and I was even a paying customer!! What terrible service.

Garbage service. Rude staff, when I ordered my groceries at 11 am I did not think I would be waiting at 8pm for my groceries. Despite being less than a mile away they came, returned without even calling or knocking, then when they were “returning” never showed up. I called to ask where my delivery was and was told it was door dashes fault when I ordered erd through the Vons app, and there was nothing they can do. They delayed my family dinner 2 hours and we had to order pizza. Never again.

This is a very clean and well organized store. You can always find what you are looking for and the prices are very reasonable and if you are a vons member you get extra discounts. I always go there to buy whole coffee beans and today I got a very good deal $5.99 a pound of coffee beans. The coffee beans I buy is their brand I think is call signature very good flavor and quality.

Great store; great variety of items and brand names; produce is always high quality (which comes at a relatively high price here); the one thing that ticks me off here is that it seems as though they close the self-checkout lanes during their busiest times.... Why?Example, I was there shortly before 7:00 pm on a Saturday, 5 or 6 cashier lanes that were open, but each lane had 5-6 customers. Each with a cart, each cart that is half full or more.Only one express lane and that line extended midway into the produce section.One lady standing by the main monitor for the self check out area, but she is staring towards the back of the store while the entry to that area is closed off and the red illuminated lights atop each self check out terminal.Until I away 1/2 a star form their prices and 1 and 1/2 star for the long wait at checkout.

This is a good store thats larger and with more options than a regular Vons. Its got a great location, nice building, and plenty of parking. There are two parking lots - one toward the front at the stores first level - the other toward the back on the second level (larger). The inside has, among all the other known Vons produce, bakery and meat: Starbucks coffee shop with seating; sushi, sandwich, soup counter; salad bar; large alcohol & wine selection; and, other variety of items and services you dont find at other Vons. Pharmacy is top-noch and stick to their waiting times. The staff is courteous and always in a good mood. Ive been here many times and havnt had a bad experience. I definitely recommend this store.

Prices dont match sales often, always out of sales items, cashiers are clueless, and managers act like youre trying to steal something, when they are trying to overcharge you. Only buy less than 10 things, and watchout for overcharging. Manager turnovers are high, so they either grow a conscience, or they get fired for not thieving enough.

Lynda and David are always willing to lend a hand with my carts. And, all three recognize me, even with my masks on. Today I was accused of stealing when I bought groceries and then went back in to return 2 items (a face wash & a moisturizer). Post renovation its now one of the nicest, most luxurious super markets I have ever been to. Where else can you get fresh, same-day sushi at 11pm? Their custom made sandwiches are affordable, quick and delicious. Staff is always friendly. Parking is bountiful, especially if you park upstairs and take the stairs/elevator down. Im always sure to stock up on the five dollar Friday deals in the pre-cooked section.Are people on here really complaining about their restrooms closing on NYE/day during the Rose Parade? Last time I checked its not their responsibility to provide bathroom services to millions of rowdy tourists; the city provides porta potties for the parade.Finally, I must commend this Vons for their vigilance in keeping the riff raff out of their parking lot. Ive never once been accosted by a beggar here (Im looking at you, Ralphs in Hastings Ranch), and I think its probably credited to their superior management. Harassment by homeless people is a serious problem in Pasadena, as anyone will tell you, but I have observed this Vons to be safe from those troublesome characters, and would have no reservations in sending my mother to shop there.

Ever since the remodel, they have become unfriendly and very creepy. They stalk customers from aisle to aisle all the way to the register. Even after being there multiple times with purchases over $100 to $200. The manager seems to be a super zero staring at people until their transaction is complete. If it was one time Id brush it off, but its every time, to the point we will not return. They seem to prefer you use credit cards for some weird reason as opposed to cash or check. The reason they do get two stars is because the store does look nice since they remodeled, however many items seem to be oddly placed and poorly organized. This Vons is probably the best nationwide chain grocery store in Pasadena proper (barring Trader Joes, which was founded in Pas and continues to beat the pants off stores like Safeway and Kroger). One of the larger Vons market location located in a busy corner of a strip mall. A rich selection of well-stocked and readymade food items and for those who would like to cook...Parking lot could be a bit larger and wider.

FRAUD Absolute garbage- they sell Chinese Farm Raised Salmon, yet they have the audacity to label the package “ Wild caught Alaskan Salmon”. The Salmon taste like the stuff you flush down the toilet, I can only image what they feed these farm raised Chinese Salmon…in CHINALAND. The store looks somewhat clean, however 80% of the items simply put are low grade garbage.BE ForewarnedFRAUD

Wide selection of grocies and made to go food such as sandwhiches, salads, wings and much more! This Vons also has a Starbucks. The entire store is clean and has friendly staff.

Everything is expensive here; produce, meat (like $6 a lb for ground beef!), cheeses, deli, etc. and I find the lines are generally slow. I only go here because of proximity and if I desperately need something.

All Vons stores are not the same. The produce department at this location is a 100% better than the Arcadia, CA Vons. The presentation and freshness at this location is flawless, unlike the berries with mold and limp and dilapidated packaged salads at the Vons on Naomi Ave. in Arcadia.

The location is great (East Colorado and Sierra Madre) and you can get most of the items you expect from a grocery store. They offer dry cleaning services, has a RedBox to rent movies and serve Starbuck coffee in-store
