Went to grab a quick meal in the deli and the gentleman behind the counter, Royce was his name, was super helpful and so kind. People with great customer service like his are the reason why I keep shopping here. ☺️

The are selling stuff with expiration dates on them that past and so they put a new sticker on the box with a later date when you can clearly see the old expectation date (photos and video attached) and the cashier was rude as hell. he asked if i had a vons card and i said i didn’t and he looked at me and said “are you serious” 😐 is it a crime to not have a vons card? why do they make you feel like your less than for not having a card. 😥 bad experience i’m Mexican no from around here just thought it was a nice looking vons anyways i felt a little discriminated 😡

The staff was very helpful trying to locate the items I had coupons for that I had already tried to find. However one they were out of stock and he one they didnt carry although the coupon they said Vons was named on the coupon. So I was happy with their friendly help but not that they didnt have the itms.

The self check out is a farce! I needed to scan one item, no problem... but I had a paid pharmacy item in my hand and I needed to get my wallet out, I set my pharmacy item on the right side along with the store item I scanned. So the scanner thought that I was placing something that I hadnt paid for... now the lights go on... customer needs assistance while waiting for several minutes as this crazy machine keeps going off...Seriously?

I mean, its a grocery store. If youve been to one Vons youve been to this one. But, what I will say, everything is very clean, usually well stocked, the parking situation isnt bad. Id rather shop here on my way back from work than closer to home because of the ease.

We had a great experience at this Vons. Ronald the manager was very professional, nice, courteous, and friendly. He and Mason helped us out. And even helped carry out the merchandise we bought to the car going above and beyond. Excellent service. Good job.

Beautiful pharmacy. I want to get 2nd booster very little wait. Pharmacist was amazing. I felt absolutely nothing. The waiting room is great too. They have a video playing on big screen TV of like an aquarium. Very relaxing.

Honestly cannot say one bad thing about this place. Every section of the store is well stocked and the workers there are very courteous and helpful. Most importantly I noticed in Dairy they make sure to rotate their items frequently as to avoid spoilage. They have some great people there!

One of the nicer Vons I have ever been in. Clean, well lit, decently large, good selection of all of the stuff you would expect to find at a Vons (or any major grocery store). I noticed they were running a number of store-specific specials too, which was nice! Friendly staff as well, no complaints. If you need a grocery store in Thousand Oaks, this one is a safe bet.

I had to visit the day before Christmas, so there was a very large line outside. I was surprised how quickly the line moved because of how efficient the staff were. Inside was crowded but for the most part people managed to stay away from each other, and mass are required. I was able to find most items I was looking for with ease. I kind of had to hunt for the sake though.

Nice salad bar. theres always a wait to checkout in the evenings. 5 dollar fridays are great and i love the digital coupons. good selection of groceries tho not a lot of specialty dry goods. store is clean and, despite being busy often, is usually moderately quiet...no people standing around in the middle of the aisles catching up on the last 10 yrs of life!!

Went into Starbucks inside the Vons and ordered my usual iced dirty Chi 2 shots, first they got it wrong. Simple mistake they didn’t hear me say iced, no problem it wasn’t made yet so we caught it time. But then when I did finally get my drink it tasted off. It was like no espresso was in it. So I go to ask if it was put in and she said yes. Normally if it tastes weak, which it has a couple times in the past they offer to add another shot no problem but instead I was given an attitude and I was looked at as if I was the problem. So let’s just say it wasn’t your normal friendly Starbucks experience. Whenever I go into Starbucks I expect to be greeted and treated with a friendly attitude. I’ve never once left Starbucks feeling upset and unsatisfied until today.

A few very disrespectful older employees. Looks like they’re heads are ready to pop right off them haha. Don’t say anything to break their normal flow or they might explode(I was doordashing here and this 40-50 year old guy got really mad at me for the doordash card getting declined. Also got mad at me for taking 6 seconds to get my ID out for the alcohol delivery. Doordash fixed problem but that man is no help to anyone’s vibe)

Great Vons store with everything you need. A Starbucks is inside as well along with a Redbox for the movie lovers. They recently remodeled the store and updated some old shelf space. I dont venture to the deli foods but everything is still fresh and clean.

Other than Trader Joes of the Chain grocery stores, Vons is my favorite. They are usually very clean, well priced and friendly service. This one in particular is extreme you know those good points above. In particular I like when you go into the right he is the deli counter was very qualified people.

I DREAD GOING HERE! This review isnt coming from just one visit, more like multiple visits over 10 years. This particular Vons has had time to get it together. The employees are robots going through the motions. They are overall grumpy, sometimes outright rude. When the cashiers have a bad day or somewhere better to be it definitely shows. Sometimes lines for days, and no urgency to speed it up. However, the bakery is superior and the short woman that works it is great. Vons in general is way overpriced compared to ralphs right across the street. Its all about customer service. Thats what this location lacks.

This Vons has great, cheerful and knowledgeable customer service. The store is stocked adequately, staffed with great people, and is very sanitary and strict with the pandemic season here. Jenn Iino, in the Starbucks kiosk, was absolutely a joy and efficiently made my coffee as well! I actually look forward to going into Vons nowadays!

Update July 2023: I created an online Vons account and I now take advantage of digital coupons that they offer in-store and online. I simply log into my Vons account or use their mobile app to download the deal/coupon to my account. Then, during checkout, I look up my account by my phone number, and after scanning the items and clicking the Pay button, the digital coupons are downloaded to my real shipping cart and applied. Some coupons Ive used are $5 off a $5+ purchase, and 50% off various produce and frozen items. I highly recommend Vons for their digital discounts and high quality produce and meatless products.I needed to inflate specialty helium mylar balloons I purchased online for my sons first birthday, but the local Dollar Tree had a policy against inflating balloons purchased elsewhere. So I walked over to Vons, and they inflated them all for the price of the helium. They provided great service and made my life easy(er).

Vons Bakery has the best croissants, golden, flaky, yum! Their white frosting is better than any bakery Ive been, and certainly better than any name brand frosting.Which leads me to their cakes! Vons cakes are so moist, flavoursome, and fresh tasting, you have to try if you havent.Basically, you cant go wrong going to Vons Bakery for all your baked goods.

Vons has been very covid compliant with their practices. There are public restrooms and a variety of items from produce, makeup, vitamins to fresh deli sandwiches..they have an on-site pharrmacy and a variety of vitamins, homeade soaps and supplements. The staff are helpful and friendly. Everyone seemed to work together for the benefit of the customer. I really enjoy this store a lot.

My go to grocery store. Staff has always been helpful when needed, everything is usually in stock, however holiday or special event weekends can deplete inventory fast, so shop early. Produce has always been fresh, and lasts up to twice as long as Trader Joes or Whole Foods. Pricing is standard for a grocery store, but the coupons and deals make it way easier on the wallet.

The Vons in particular was fine, I went in to grab Starbucks and Luis who was behind the counter was having a conversation with a woman, a vons employee and when I asked can you take my order after 4 min thats when she placed her order. Stopped on my way to work and picked up a pre-made dish for lunch. I noticed that the sell by date was a day out of date when I got to the register.
