One Mothers Day, Vons sourced a standing rib-eye roast. They had it on 50% off plus an extra 20% with a member card.It was the finest beef I have ever had in my entire life. Whoever was responsible for curating this beef spared no expense for the mothers that Mothers Day.It was so good, it didnt need salt. That is difficult to imagine, but it is true.

Was assisted by a nice employee at the service desk but the manager had to come up to assist with the transaction. I believe the managers name was Trina, and she was very upset with the employees because she had got called to get up and leave the office to assist with my customer service. I thought it was strange for a manager to act like that especially in-front of customers. Will not be coming back

I only stop at this particular Vons once a month or so when I have a particular client thats around the corner. But each time Ive been its clean in and out. Employees friendly and helpful. Which if youre like me a use one or two Vons as your habitual stores youre gonna need a little help because the aisle are definitely different than the ones I go to in Ventura.

There are limited varieties of food products at this time and the cost of the food seems to have doubled up over the course of the last few years so I do much more coupon and store club discount shopping than ever before. I never considered myself as a thrifty shopper but when you go to any store and come out with 2 small bags and 50 to 100 dollars shorter then its time to shop smarter and waste less. Vons has good club discounts and cash back rewards so I go there but only buy the items that are discounted. Hopefully the big corporate stores stop looking through their profit windows to allow prices to come down so we can all afford to eat healthy meals.

Nancy the manager is very very unprofessional and speaks with her expressions they show much more than her words. Too comfortable at her job ...I spoke to some of your employees I will not mention names they feel very uneasy when they work with her I can imagine how awful she must be as a manager if I was employed there with how judgmental she was as a customer.

I love the convenient location of this Vons, but this specific location is going DOWNHILL. My dad and I just bought a $200 dollar bottle of scotch whiskey with our basket full of other grocery items. By the time we were unloading our basket which we did so RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE STORE instead of walking out into the parking lot, someone must have grabbed the gift box out of our cart while we were loading other items in our car. This is the second robbery in a matter of 5 years. As much as I like the staff here, I wont be shopping here again.Another thing to note: They DO NOT have cameras pointing out to the parking lot. Only the entrance area. So if you walk out there at night youre on your own.Edited: SoooooThe camera footage was pulled. A couple saw the bottle in the cart. Took the bottle out and took it to their car. Went back into the store and continued shopping. By the time I realized I didnt have the bottle and returned to the store to explain it to management, the couple who took the bottle was still there. But at the time I did not realize it until the cameras were pulled the next day.According to Management, they will be pulling the customers Visa/Debit/Vons Club card the members used to file a police report against themManagement did comp me a new bottle. So I will continue to be a customer. Cant wait for the B**** to get her update from the PD.And Ill never forget her face.

I go to this Vons because it has a Wells Fargo bank where I go cash my checks from my other job. The people at the bank are amazing and they test you very well. The store is always clean and stocked a bit pricey tho. But would recommend people too so there. Plus they do vaccination there for free and they are really nice.

We to find Christmas cards for my grandsons. Found them. 9 other stores had none and Vons had 6 different ones. Got the 2 I needed. Store was clean and neat. The staff at the customer service counter greeted me and was friendly. Paid for the cards and got a lottery ticket. Good shopping experience.

All I wanted was David sunflower seeds the jumbo kind. I spoke to three different people who sent me to three different places where they did have seeds sunflower seeds but they werent the kind that I was looking for. The staff was very short with me when I asked no one offered to walk down the aisle and show me. I just found they were really rude and they could have cared less about what I needed or wanted.

This is a very busy market with 2 checkout lines. They always have a security guard to follow you and stare you down as you exit the store. The shady looking folks in the parking lot add a lot to the ambiance. I feel really welcome and safe here.

This Vons is easily the shadiest Vons in Ventura county. Metal detectors at the entrance, security guards in the store...its a little overwhelming for a grocery store considering its not even in the worst part town. The cashiers/checkers are always pleasant when I interact with them and Ive never waited an excessive amount of time in a check out line, but this stores vibe when you walk in is anything but welcoming.

Helpful Staff. They have Gone the Extra Mile for me. High Prices, but they cant Help that.I have been seeing a lot of empty shelves. No gallons of Gatorade for instance. I had to buy four quarts which cost more than a gallon bottle.One of the senior motorized carts is very slow, it needs maintenance.There are often too few checkstands open.

Clean organized and very nice people working there, even the young lady outside pushing carts genuinely welcomed me to the store and wished me a great day. It seems like a small thing, but think back and ask yourself if the paid greeters at your store are smiling genuinely as they welcome you or if they bark a welcome at you as you pass by. Good help is hard to find, and those special ones that truely enjoy working and helping others shine like a light and make an ordinary chore a little brighter.

Yep, went here all right. Store is very clean and the crew is very polite and helpful. The youngster, Josh, who helped me out with my groceries was so sweet! He asked for my permission to put my bags on the floor, and he was very cautious about the care of my eggs! This is a new store for me as I have just moved back to Oxnard from Ventura, and is quite a bit different. Josh asked me if I had any complaints. He absolutely surprised me when I told him about the lack of different types of gluten free breads and he pulled out a computer thing, entered my request for Canyon Bake House Bakery breads. He took care of it for me right then and there!!!! That kid is going far!!! Thinking back on this, the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was because I think, or thought, that this was the cashiers job, but he was kinda of grump!

Customer met service could have been better...A cashier named Stephanie(with long blue nails), just told me that I had to bag my own groceries. I just spent over $100 on groceries. She then bagged the next peoples groceries.I’m black. I wonder if that was the issue. Either way, Management you might want to deal with this, considering that ALL RETAIL is going under because of mobile apps and the internet. I will pay $50 more to not have someone be rude as hell to me, because thy are either ‘too cute’ to work or racist towards darker people.

I sent my son to buy 2 orders of Habanero chicken for Friday deal $5/0rder,, when i took out the Habanero 1 of the paper bag collapsed at the bottom because it is soaking wet before i even place it in the container, the chicken were on the grocery bag.. Horrible!! A woman with NO MASK insisted on cutting in the line, This Woman, not a lady in ANY sense, THREATENED me and yelled obscenities. She made a complete spectacle and embarrassment to herself AS WELL AS TO VONS, Since employees did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and allowed her through the line. Sign on door CLEARLY says MASKS REQUIRED. THIS VONS IS NON- COMPLIANT! . There is also a sign outside by carts that CARTS ARE SANITIZED FOR YOUR PROTECTION. There were 2 employees standing there talking, both males. I asked if these carts were SANITIZED and he said Oh, NOT YET. Really?? They were doing NOTHING BUT TALKING!! Get it together VONS!! I, NOR MY FAMILY WILL BE VISITING THIS VONS AGAIN!
