Store was well lit and shelves were well stocked. I was able to located the items I was needing. Checkout was fast and pleasant. The cashier was friendly and welcoming, thanking us for shopping at Vons.

Only one register open at 7pm Saturday evening with line that drags to the grocery isles. Numerous times paid more than the price tag says. Always out of absolute basics, where I have drive to another store for something simple like cilantro or chicken wings. Apple pay - does’t work for months now. 3 separate times found MOLDY product (butter, cheese and jerkey). Found this slice of cheese that was molded and came back after couple days and it was still there.Some employees are very nice and welcoming but with all the stuff named above - I will drive out of my way to shop somewhere else.

Came in to pick up a few things tonight, and their Apple Pay was not working. It usually works, so I didn’t think to bring in my card. The lady at the register, dirty blonde, curly hair, half up half down hairstyle wearing a blue shirt responded in the rudest blunt manner over their machine being broken. Truly a lack of customer service at this Vons location.

Ive lived in this neighborhood for about 6 years now and shop here all the time. PLEASE. Either hire more cashiers or install self checkout lines. We all wait entirely too long here. Its time.

Would not had rated 1 stars if what i was going to buy at the store would not become a hassle and a problem or concern they could had avoid. I showed up to the store at 5:45am because i was looking to buy butter and some frozen fast to go food due to i was in a hurry of course store opens till 6:00am. Now if your opening a store i think you should open it at a time you know everything is ready and your good to go to let customers come in but unfortunately i think this store does not care about that. Cause my shopping today was just really not that great cause buying at a store where they are still putting merchandise on the lanes becomes just annoying and stressful and thats what i experianced today!

Cashier Theresa needs some training on how to be polite to customers. Walked in this morning around 8am. Grabbed my items and saw a lane was opened. She did not greet me or even acknowledge that I was there. She was talking the whole time to another employee about her life and joking around. Once she finished ringing me up, she handed me my receipt whilecontinuing to talk to the other employee. Not a thank you or have a nice day. Basically acting like I was a bother to her being there. Unprofessional.

Great experience!! Visited the deli to purchase 8 pieces of fried chicken. Phillip took care of me and suggested the 8 piece leg and thigh for $6.99. He suggested that I go to the Vons app and clip the digital coupon and it would give me $1.00 off. He also offered to help me if I didnt know how the digital coupon worked, I said thank you and told him I was familiar with the app.I did need to run to my car because I left my phone in the car he said it was not a problem. When I came back in he was ready with my purchase. He was very helpful and certainly went the extra mile!!!

Went in for a quick lunch before heading back to work so I grabbed a salad and it was great it was seven bucks and I grabbed a small Starbucks drink. I was pleasantly surprised to see those two together. Other than that it looks like a very clean market keep up the good work.

We have a fresh pass and order most of our groceries this way. We have had very good results and if there has been any issue it’s been quickly solved. Recently I placed an order for a family gathering including kids. I had added notes for substitutions, except for 2 items - the in store shopper Dana recognized we were having a party and called to let us know what was out of stock and suggested options! WOW so amazing - she knew without those items being substituted we would have had an issue! Dana is a gem and really understands customer service! Store 2047

Nice local store, on the small side. Has generator if power goes out. Loving the curbside pickup. Good deli with sushi. Starbucks inside. Decent beer and alcohol selection. Not great butcher and small meat selection. Friendly staff.

Even though this store is 1 min from us, I prefer to drive farther to Ralphs because the prices at Vons are ridiculously high as opposed to Ralphs. With my rewards card I can get really good deals and free items at Ralphs.

Been going here forever. Pretty good service usually. Lines dont tend to get too long, at least they always seem to have enough people generally. Good selection of things for its size. Good location. Always clean. Has a floral, meat, and bakery department and a Starbucks. Nothing above and beyond but I dont feel bad ever going here, either.

Need more ready prepared main/entree dishes with chicken, fish, vegetables. The last time I was there I wanted to buy some fresh fish at the poultry/meat/fish dept, nobody was there to help me. I left like a sad dog with my tail between my legs with no fish to take home :-(

When I have gone there its only late at night because they are the last grocery store open. Theres been multiple occasions where I have gone in with 10 minutes left before closing and they get really irritated. Last night the employee told me we close in one minute when I was in one of the aisles and it was 10:56. Thats 4 minutes and I was going to be done well within that timeframe. Why say that when you dont know what time it is or why try to rush someone out that way lying if you do? Most of the time the cashiers are zombies with no energy life or personality like they are fully drained and very monotone its strange. The one on Tapo canyon is much better.

Many of the registers are vacant, and few people who work the deli are able to ring you up there which is a problem when I have chicken and the few lines open are packed. The cashiers are nice and all and the store is relatively clean and well stocked. Why 3 stars? Well that would be the delis fault. Dried out food .... Yuck. Unfriendly zombies behind the counters... Double yuck. I bought some tenders and tender they were not. More like breaded sticks. And the wedges were mega gross. The mango habanero chicken was good but past the sauce was kinda flavor less. Id buy just sauce if I could. The manager was good enough to refund us for the tenders. My kiddo was so disappointed when he couldnt have what he wanted ... Thats what prompted me to review more than anything.

Trying to get help uin the deli department is almost impossible. There were three employees literally 5 feet away from me and not one of them asked what I needed. cashier lines are always too long. This stores is right by my house and I go out of my way to avoid it

Great store with fabulous deli & produce, but they really drop the ball on customer service by never having enough registers open during peak times to handle the long lines of customers. The last thing I want to do after working all day is stand on line 25-30 minutes behind 10-15 grumpy customers complaining about the long lines. I could understand if it was only once in a while, but it happens all the time. Not good.

If it wasnt the closest grocery store to our home we wouldnt shop there.. A few people are friendly, smile and say hello or some other short greeting..but most of the employees barely look up at you even if you say hello first, no thank you, look miserable. Today as I was getting rung up I set my 2 bags on the counter and the young clerk didnt but any of my items in the bags..she watched me bag my stuff..you might as well put in self check outs.. happens in many departments..whats wrong with this vons?? Does the manager not care about how his people are with the customers ? Is it that bad to work there? Ive been going in there 20 years.. use to be way better, nicer experience.

I buy groceries for my disabled mother. Not a very easy task since I have to go thru the grocery store on my phone with her. My trips usually round up to $200 worth of groceries. I wait my time in line. The guy behind the counter clearly does not want to ring my groceries up. Looks at the guy about to bag my stuff and says you need bags? I say yes please and then tells the guy well this will be fun. Excuse me?!?!?!?! I guess next time I should just walk out without paying for anything since bagging and scanning my groceries is just not fun. What a joke.

Always an excellent experience...managers,grocery checkers, box people always helpful...mgrs are flexible and will help to ensure pricing is adjusted if it should be and anything else that you need. All the employees that are walking through the store for any reason ie break, restroom, going to back of store or front of store always ask...are u finding everything that you need....and if u need something they will either take care of you in that moment and if they cant they will send someone to help. This is part of their original Red Carpet Service that was instituted when Vons came into being over 50 yrs ago...including being one of the first to offer free help out to car with groceries if you need it.

Every time I come in here they have 2 people checking out, no baggers, and lines and lines of people irritated. They have no self check outs and move slow. It suck that this is the only place close on this side of town, and they know this too so they jack the prices up tremendously.
