This location never fails to have their cashiers be unfriendly. On more than one occasion I have had an entire transaction where they never said a word. Not a “hello” or “thank you”. Their management must be poorly run because they are often loudly complaining to each other and once I was in a line where the cashier was so frustrated she left to go to the back and we had to wait for someone else to come to finish check out. People here are miserable and they she couldn’t care less an out customers or the often low stock, and even expired products they sell.

This review is solely for the bakery department in this Vons. They were phenomenal.I ordered a birthday cake over the phone and gave the basic details/theme (Hello Kitty) of the cake and the worker on the other end was extremely accommodating. The day I picked it up, we were blown away. The birthday girl absolutely loved her cake and it was delicious too. I just really want to give a shout out to whoever baked and designed it. It was great, thank you.

I’ll not forget this day. A customer came and returned the flowers and I was about to make the same purchase of 2 bouquets of roses (12pcs each). They JACKED PRICE DOUBLE the usual cost. These roses usually are priced at $20. But as it is valentine day tomorrow, they were selling at 100% price increases. these corporation should be ashamed of themselves. They are looting consumers, people are working two jobs to pay their basic bills as inflation continues to stay high. But the opportunistic American capitalist would not miss an opportunity to squeeze the working class. This is quite despiteful. I canceled my purchase and came back home.

Make sure you go through self checkout or avoid Vons all together. Cashier (lady with glasses) working lane 1 at about 10:40 on 2/7/24 needs to work on her customer service skills and how to communicate in a civil way. No one should be talked down to especially not a grocery store where I’m spending my money. Don’t think I’ll be back after that, much better treatment at sprouts or even Walmart

Called and just spoke to Diane who answered my phone call. She was rude and spoke over me and then when I brought it toHer attention she said it was so noisy in there that she felt she had to be loud. I told her that it didnt seem loud to me and I never asked her to repeat herself . I feel she just felt the need to cut me off when all I was doing was explaining to her that she gave me a wrong number .That concludes my option on the employee dianne a acting manager of Vons .Zion San Diego

Super high prices. Yet clean. No pharmacy. Out of rotisserie chicken. Meat dept no help. Long lines. Manager not helpful at all when I tried to return an item.I suggest using more than 2 lanes for checkout. Hire 1 or 2 more cashiers please.10-15 minutes in line is absurd.Go to Grocery Outlet and save 40%. I dont work there, I just like their prices way better.

Horrible customer service, long lines, and pricing is terrible. Avg price of goods here is often 15-20% higher than the Ralph’s down the street. The self check out doesn’t work half the time and forget about using Apple Pay. This is grocery shopping at its worst

So I stopped by today and as I was being checked out by Loretta whom was so kind and was concerned about when she’d be covered so she would be able to take her lunch Dillon comes by, she asks him and he rudely responds to her that she needs to wait 45 minutes until someone can cover her. There is a way to speak to coworkers and I say coworkers because he is not the owner of the store I assume. He stormed off with an attitude still addressing her in front of other staff and customers. I walked up to him and let him know there is a way to talk to people and what he did was definitely not it. As I’m walking to my vehicle I see him come out of the other front door of the store pushing and shoving a cart. Acting like a man child. I don’t know his position but just how he embarrassed her in public he should also apologize to her. Dillon needs to take a course or read an employee handbook!

The 1 star is for the black lady that was working in the morning at 12:10 pm in the Starbucks shop. I wanted to order something she could’ve just said they didn’t have it but she went on and on being condescending like lady just let me order something else but she was still going at it her name I think started with an A but I’m in a great mood just her approach was very aggressive.
