Daniel at the deli/chicken Dept is so helpful with a great attitude. He served my Wife and I chicken & Broccoli salad. As the whole family eats at the table, they all complimented how good the Chicken and broccoli salad is.. best choice ever. Thank you Daniel!

Its a big store with regular grocery store selections for all food groups and also provides a decent variety of prepared food for a quick on the go meal or dinner for the table. Throughout the store endless isle await to satisfy a diverse dietary regimen. And they do offer decent sales if you feel like cruisen around hunting them down. Definitely suggest familiarizing yourself with their app and clip coupons, etc.There is potential to save.But it does take a little patience.Id also like to note it seems like it helps promote small or new businesses with marketing so thats worth popping in to check out new and upcoming products in my opinion.

Dean, has terrible customer service, I needed assistance with my lotto tickets and he looked just miserable he didnt even say hi not introduced himself I said hi I need to check some tickets and he did not say one word my daughter noticed it as well. Dean should work somewhere else where he does not interact with people. I will be going to the Vons down the street instead.

One thing I love about VONS is that they have delicious steaks, we had them with asparagus and mashed potatoes.

Been coming to the El Norte location for years and I’ve seen a decline in customer service, specifically the night crew. Besides the larger man that’s a supervisor (he’s been excellent btw) the rest of the employees appear to be bothered by doing their JOB. The self checkout froze midway through scanning. No one was there to assist. The short Latina woman with dreads (apparently a supervisor as well) looked over, saw the light flashing but walked away. When the cashier at another lane called for her, she still did not come and instead stood at the far register looking through paperwork. I’m not going to assume what her priorities are, but customer service is a large portion of the job. I’ve had encounters with this same woman before and was given short, rude, not helpful answers. I stood there waiting for several minutes before I flagged down another employee. This woman rolled her eyes like somehow I’m inconveniencing her! All she said was, “I need to reboot the system, you’ll have to recheck all your items, sorry,” and walked away. I had many items already scanned so instead of risking this experience again, I packed up and moved to an actual checkout lane. This same employee, comes over, sees me waiting and asks another customer if they wanted to move into a newly opened register. Why wouldn’t you ask the person that just had to repack all their items and move to another lane?! Reading through the reviews on here, besides “our sincerest apologies,” Vons do better and hold your staff accountable to higher standards of customer service.

I never feel welcomed here. I haven’t been since 2020 and thought I might have a different experience. That was not the case however. I was in the flower department and FaceTimed my daughter to show her what I was getting my mom for Valentine’s Day. It was a little tree (not in a vase) and I pulled it out of the bag to show my daughter it could be easily transported (in a vase the water would spill). He point is… the florist walked towards me and pretty much yelled at me “oh no! We can’t take those out of the bag!”I told I was just trying to show my daughter what it was. If she had told me with a different tone, I would understand. She never offered me help or tried to ask what I was doing. I understand reviews about not feeling welcomed. The starts I did give were for the friendly cashier that helped me. She took out to see the little tree … in that moment I realized, I wasn’t the only customer who had probably done that.

Been shopping here for years. Wish they had the devil eggs that are made in the veggie aisle like before. I eat them at lunch time. Over all people are sometimes nice here sometime it takes along time to get customer service to help me with money orders. Wish they pay attention to everyone not just the white folks. Sometimes I feel they dont like Mexicans. Sorry for the comment buts thats the experience I get. I rarely come to shop here

This on the East side of the 15 is the best friendly service. Went there for cake after 8 but they made sure I walked out with a cake. Totally awesome place for grocery shopping. Thank you very much. You guys made my day! It was my daughter s birthday 🎉
