Sorry. Prices are way higher than Ralphs up the street. Staff is friendly, but they have 9(?) registers and youre lucky if TWO are open. The Express lanes are NEVER open anymore.I dont believe its a lack of help but I do think its management cutting back to save payroll.I think its so rude not to have 4-5 registers operating at dinner time and weekends. Sometimes only one lane open and not even a bag person there to help.

What can be said about grocery shopping at a chain store? They have almost everything you need, but maybe not what you want. The store is clean and service is polite a majority of the time.

Good prices and great service. They have 20 item checkout lines, scan your own check out and on and on. They had organic yogurt for $5. Loved it.

They sold us our cake double the price of the original tag in the show case and when we approved salesman and the manager they didn’t even try or offer us to correct their mistakes. Not a good experience and customer service. The cake tasted like few days old. Worse part of this experience was their attitude!

An excellent Vons with superb staff! In search for a hard to obtain bottle of wine? I can say Yolanda, in the wine and spirit department, is an amazing and friendly person. I was assisted with what i was looking for and also rewarded with a few more bottles than I had expected to find. Very neat as well as accessible departments all throughout this Vons. Excellent prices and good selections. Overall, a wonderful experience. Highly recommend. I will cerrainly be returning again.

Simply great. Nice staff. Great stuff with much lower prices than Sprouts or Whole Foods. They also carry similar brands.Do not rush the people bagging your groceries people. Be nice to these hard workers in your community. Cheers!

Two registers open (of 11) no packers. Everyone is sick (apparently). Auto check out open, no one there. I asked for the self check out person to be reassigned to a register as things were slow and backing up. Got told ‘no he’s busy’. This is my fault, the store is a mess. I’ve said it before and it never changes. I can fix your problem, I’ll skip anything owned by Safeway (vons, pavilions and others). There I’m happier already.

I just wanted to share my experience at Vons food store. We are from Auburn Alabama where I feel we have friendly employees and excellent food. I just wanted to say the employees were very friendly and helpful at Vons. So far the groceries were fresh and very good. I would highly recommend this store for all your grocery needs.

DO BETTER.Great parking is about all they have. These are some of the most pretentious checkers and managers that I have ever experienced. Mike, as a store manager you should be embarrassed. (Stephanie is cool).They treat their customers poorly because theyre having a bad day and well probably because their jobs and lives arent what they expected. The truth is is that I shouldnt even have these thoughts as a customer because I should have had a good customer service experience. Smile, charge me the right price, ask me if I want to join your membership club, put my groceries in a bag properly, and get the carts out of the parking lot. its pretty simple guys.The management will probably use their personal time to try and bump this poor rating down with fake profiles but we all know the game. in the past three days that Ive been to their store a bagger has put my quart of milk on the bottom of the bag of sideways underneath the rest of my groceries and two of their checkers have mispriced items. every single time I go to the store its something different and oddly enough we pay more for items in this city then people do in other towns because it is an upper echelon neighborhood. Im definitely not getting what I pay for.

I really like Vons for their abundant selection, especially in the produce section, as well as their lower cost brand items if that is what Im looking for. If we cant get our usual organic or grass-fed healthier items we usually purchase, we often go to Vons knowing their meats and produce seem really fresh. Plus, their circular seems comprehensive with good, weekly sales and deals. Store is always clean and staff willing to help if you cant find something.

I am so upset that the cashier Melissa was very rude. I asked her to cash some lottery tickets and she gave me attitude and questioned me if I had cash to purchase my order. I was applauded by her attitude towards me. She did not see me as a loyal vons customer she saw my race. I have been to this vons many times and had never experienced this type of behavior from what are some friendly cashiers. Please train your employees to have manners and be courteous to your loyal customers.

This Vons is in a nice neighborhood, so it is never crowded and they have a lot of help. There is always someone to help out if you have a question, and the checkers are very kind and patient as would be required in an affluent neighborhood LOL

Great place to shop lots of parking. Well Stock shelves, very friendly employees. I was not able to find one of the things on sale and that the register when asked if I found everything I was looking for I said no. I showed them the ad and the girl is our register called someone and it was there with in a couple of minutes. Actually it was cupcakes that were some of the best Ive tasted in a while. The cake was nice and fluffy and the icing wasnt too sweet. Ribeye steaks were also on sale. We ask the butcher to cut his thumb a little thicker than what was outside. And he cut us some beautiful meat.This is a great food store to shop with. There is everything you could need.

The staff is friendly enough, but as an every shopper at this store it is pretty disappointing that so many items are out of stock so often! Like, if something is selling so well, do they not think to order more!? Also, i was in there tonight to get my usual iced coffee and it was out of stock on the shelf (happens at least once a week) so i asked an employee to check the back for me, well, he went back there and said that they got a shipment but apparently NOBODY not even a manager, was allowed to check the shipment! Im just saying, that sounds kinda bogus to me,

I dont like this place at all. Only go there when their about to close. I dislike how they tell u to go to a cashier and their not even finished checking out the person. Then u have to wait while the person behind u got into a lane that was quicker or had no problems.

If Vons ever added self-checkouts, all would be right in the world. I hate going to Ralphs, but I can get in and out in a pinch. All I know is that everytime I wind up in this Vons, the lines are out of control for some reason. Usually I just need a handful of items when I drop in too, so its a bit discouraging that I seem to always get stuck in some sort of super market limbo whenever I walk in this place.
