One of the better stores in the area, but closes a bit on the early side.Staff is usually helpful, but I have had mixed experiences - everyone has a bad day sometimes?Be careful with the bargain bin/expiring soon items. The weekly sales are usually cheaper than half of the prices marked here...They mark these items as under different SKUs, so you wont get the lowest price if there is a sale which would make the fresh products less expensive.Furthermore, they inflate the price a bit excessively (completely fabricated... No way a 12-pack of store brand soda is $13.50!)

The amount of ads played over the loudspeaker while shopping is overwhelming. One song, two ads, repeat. It makes the shopping experience a pain and I’ve started shopping elsewhere because of it. Please fix this.

This store is the most disgusting and filthy. The outdoor entrances smell like urine from the homeless. The floors look like they never been cleaned or replaced since it opened. Stay away.

Nora the supervisor was the rudest person I’ve ever encountered at this location. My husband was buying himself beer and she asked for both of our IDs. I ended up showing her my ID and at the end of the transaction she made a scene in front of other customers about how I didn’t say loud enough about how I don’t normally get carded. Keep in mind I’ve gone to this location many times with him and this has never happened. I’m almost 30 years old. It’s a bit ridiculous the power trip she had at the grocery store over a transaction he was buying and not me. Extremely unprofessional and gross. I won’t ever be back.

I have shopped here once a week for 6 years and although I love everyone who works here, the quality of the store has gone down so much. Shelves are empty and so many products are not available anymore. For example, Cracker Barrel cheese is gone and because Lucerne pays more for the space that’s all you can buy now. Why doesn’t the deli carry Boars Head? The deli is by far the worst department in the store, staff and quality of product is so bad! So many times now for me the produce is below par with over ripe, expired and moldy fruits and vegetables. I really love everyone who works here (except deli) but I may have to transfer stores. On a side note: I can’t believe how much theft goes down at this store location, employees are not allowed to stop someone from stealing (per their union) but are allowed to watch carts full of groceries and alcohol exit the store without payment. This store needs help!!!

Milk is never fresh. Best before dates are false. Vons is always $2/item more expensive than Ralphs stores. Baked chicken from deli is terrible; full of fat. I only buy bananas there😖😵😟

Vons has been upgraded to a great, easy to shop, well merchandised store. Everything is easy to find and well- organized.The selection has expanded and there’s lots of healthy plant based options. There’s also lactose and gluten free products.The bakery is delicious. Our favorite is when the brownie and cookie melt together. The pricing is also lower than other markets.The pastries and cakes in the bakery are delicious.Parking is easy. Curbside pickup is easy too.

I had just finished my recycling, as i do every week, and decided i needed some sustenance. Vons happened to be on the way back home. So i stopped in and choose some sushi and iced tea. The sushi was fresh and tasted good. The store was clean and everything looked fresh. Prices were high as you would expect from Vons. The store was crowded but the check out line was fast. Overall acceptable store with a pleasant flow to it.

They have a good selection of groceries in a large, well lot, nice decorated store, and they have a restroom which is available to the public.This store is in a really nice, safe part of OC, smack dab in the heart of Huntington Beach...which is the city in which I used to live.....and thats the reason I can only give it 4 stars instead of 5.I have a lot of memories of Huntington Beach....some good.....

This location had everything for which I was looking. It also had a warm feel to in- with the opposite being an antiseptic feel that can be felt with too many fluorescent lights along with white tile floors. Even prior to entering the store I was personally given a freshly cleaned shopping cart and wished a happy shopping time. Coupled with my ability to find all my shopping items and my very short time spent in the checkout line/register, my entire grocery shopping experience was great.

The store is very organized and clean, the quality of food is immediately visible. The meat is very well displayed here, and the quality definitely gets your attention. The produce is fresh, and the fresh fruit cups are very popular. The speed of checkout is quite fast, the employees are quick to assist you. A great neighborhood store.

I was the only black person in the store or it just felt like it. Ppl was moving out my way like I had covid and the cashier was so nervous. I gave her 100 dollars bill and it took her a good 3 mins talking to her self and looking at the money. With a cheap smile on her face food was good Ill be back no harm no foul I guess. Exceptional service at this location. Managers and employees all have worked hard to keep this store open and the shelves stocked to the best of their ability. During this time they are doing their best to ensure a clean store for both the public and their employees. They have hired a team to keep the carts clean and disinfected. Bravo!

This is my main grocery store. Today was a quick trip. I needed just enough for a few days prior to a trip. The carts are clean and plentiful. The lines to check out were open. The staff is helpful friendly.

Staff are always helpful and knowledgeable. They still bag your groceries for you... Definite plus. Changing layouts with the integration of Vons and Albertsons keeps you on your toes a bit... But I am sure that will settle down a bit. Do need to be strategic about sales to get the best pricing. Look out for their fab 5 sales, if you have the room it can save you a lot on items you may use over time. i.e. Ben and Jerrys often goes on sale with but 5 for $2.99 each. My doctor would rather have them skip that sale, but what she doesnt know wont hurt her. :-)

A great store worker helped me.I returned an item I had purchased at a different Vons because I was close to this location and wanted to get the item out of my car on my way to the car wash.Justin at the service desk handled it fast and with great professionalism without making an issue about it not being from his location. Vons is a great grocery store with great products and wonderful employees who give great service. There have been times where I couldnt find a product, and a Vons employee went out of their way to walk with me to the location of the product.One time, the manager looked for the product while I was waiting in line. Ive been shopping here for over 22 years and I will continue to do so.Someone who gives a negative review with zero evidence is not going to sway me.

This food store is my favorite of the larger supermarkets. It has always such exciting exotic different food items on offer such as Chinese Baos, real calf liver (frozen) and now Ill be looking for the grape leaves it says I can find there. The regular normal food there is also always so fresh and inviting, I wish I lived closer to this Vons than to the closer but less than perfect Albertsons. But I dont mind driving a little further for this great offerings by this Vons.

I have always loved Vons but they have mostly declined in service since Albertsons bought them. However, the Vons at Magnolia and Atlanta in Huntington Beach is still superb. Clean, good service and the most beautiful, well stocked floral department I have ever seen. Great store.

I have had very good experience with the Pharmacy here. I recently had a problem with a doctors office not providing enough information for a prescription. Crystal on the Pharmacy staff kept calling the doctors office until this was resolved. It took several days, but it got done, and I received the medication. On another occasion, Rick fast-tracked the second part of the Shingles vaccination. Thanks for all the help!

I had my hands full and upon leaving my daughter asked me to pick up Starbucks. Which is inside Vons. I asked a young man employee for a cart, he happily brought it to me.And on Friday they have the Live Friday deal at Starbucks you get a free dessert. Luv that. Employees at Starbuck was do pleasant and friendly. I usually ront shop Vons. But I will from now on.

We are new transplant to the Huntington Beach area and I came to Vons to shop for food for the home, we previously used the Vons in our neighborhood in Rancho Cucamonga and I was pleasantly surprised at the help from all the employees from cashier checkers everybody right on down to the bag person. The experience was very pleasant and stress free. Also, the price was just at the right point.

I love the produce section there at Vons on Atlanta and Magnolia. I do like the store and have had positive experiences there for the most part. However, there were a couple of instances that did not go as they should have. A couple of weeks ago my husband and I were shopping and we gave our bags to the checker who gave them to the bagger. What happened is the bagger put our bags in the previous customers basket. He said he didnt and I insisted we brought bags. The checker sent him out to the lot. This is the weird part. The bagger came in with my bags and walked in front of Starbucks with them. Came back and said they werent out there. I did get new free bags. Thank you. However, the bagger lied and that is the part that is disturbing and it should be for you. I could see he carried in my bags because I had the Smart and Final bag and it is red.
